In Report Affirming Nearly No Transmission in Schools, CDC Slips in Shocking Data About Asymptomatic Spread

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control slipped in a shocking piece of evidence in a recent report on low in-school COVID-19 transmission that severely undercuts the rationale for most COVID restrictions, including lockdowns.

The Jan. 29 report’s conclusion seems to fit the pro-mask narrative, of course: “Schools might be able to safely open with appropriate mitigation efforts [such as masking and not allowing student cohorts to mix] in place.” In the 17 rural Wisconsin schools surveyed, only seven cases were linked to in-school transmission out of 4,876 pupils, and no staff members were infected at school during the study period.

While the report spends ample time explaining the mitigation strategies employed in the schools and the high reported mask compliance (92%) among students, the authors later discuss something you probably have not seen in any of the mainstream media’s coverage of this report:

“Children might be more likely to be asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19 than are adults…This apparent lack of transmission [in schools] is consistent with recent research (5), which found an asymptomatic attack rate of only 0.7% within households and a lower rate of transmission from children than from adults. However, this study was unable to rule out asymptomatic transmission within the school setting because surveillance testing was not conducted” (emphasis added). . .

The text of the analysis is even more consequential than the CDC’s reference makes it seem: “Estimated mean household secondary attack rate from symptomatic index cases (18.0%; 95% CI, 14.2%-22.1%) was significantly higher than from asymptomatic or presymptomatic index cases (0.7%; 95% CI, 0%-4.9%; P < .001), although there were few studies in the latter group. These findings are consistent with other household studies28,70 reporting asymptomatic index cases as having limited role in household transmission” (emphasis added). Lawmakers Demand Investigation of NIH ‘Secretively’ Funneling Tax Dollars to Notorious Wuhan Lab

A letter sent Tuesday from members of Congress to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General Christi Grimm is demanding a “prompt and thorough investigation” into the National Institutes of Health’s relationship with the Chinese Communist Party-run Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The 28 congressional signers, led by Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., write:

The NIH, unfortunately, has played a major role in supporting [the Wuhan Institute of Virology] and this treacherous research and the promotion of spurious claims dismissing the NIH-funded lab’s potential role in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology is suspected by experts, including the U.S. State Department, to have caused the COVID-19 pandemic through an accidental lab leak.

Lawmakers write that the NIH and Pentagon are responsible for “secretively” funneling tax dollars to the Wuhan research lab through the U.S.-based nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance. The Wuhan Institute of Virology has already received $600,000 in U.S. taxpayer funds between 2014 and 2019 to study bat-based coronaviruses through EcoHealth Alliance, and the lab is still authorized to receive U.S. tax dollars for animal experiments until 2024. WATCH: ‘SNL’ Under Fire for ‘Anti-Semitic’ Joke About Israeli COVID Vaccine Rollout

“Saturday Night Live” and star Michael Che are under fire from critics for a joke they claim was anti-Semitic.

“Israel is reporting that they’ve vaccinated half of their population. I’m going to guess it’s the Jewish half,” the Weekend Update correspondent cracked Sunday morning.

The vast majority of Israel’s population — 74 percent — is Jewish, according to the Jewish Virtual Library.

Vaccination rates of Israeli Arabs are much lower than Jews in the country, partially due to distrust of the government in the Arab community, according to a January article in The Christian Science Monitor.

By Sunday afternoon, the topic was trending, with many accusing Che and NBC of bias, and others coming to his defense.

Let’s Hope Fauci Is Wrong Again With This Latest Prediction

Dr. Anthony Fauci doesn’t see Americans outgrowing their face diapers anytime soon. The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said on Sunday that he can’t rule out Americans wearing face masks in 2022. Hopefully, the nation’s top “expert” flip-flops on this as he has with so many other things in the past.

“I think it is possible that that’s the case and, again, it really depends on what you mean by normality,” Fauci said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” when asked whether Americans will still be wearing face masks next year.

Fauci said he would like to see the level of coronavirus infections come down in communities to a level where “there’s virtually no threat.”

“If you see the level coming down really, really very low, I want it to keep going down to a baseline that’s so low that there’s virtually no threat,” said Fauci.

“It’ll never be zero,” Fauci conceded, “but a minimal, minimal threat that you will be exposed to someone who is infected.” (Read more from “Let’s Hope Fauci Is Wrong Again With This Latest Prediction” HERE)

Life Expectancy in U.S. Drops by a Year During Pandemic

Life expectancy for those born in the United States decreased an average of a whole year amid the coronavirus pandemic, the largest margin since World War II.

According to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report published Thursday, people across the racial and gender barriers in the U.S. experienced a drop in their life expectancy. The CDC describes life expectancy as the “average number of years that a group of infants would live if they were to experience throughout life.”

In 2019, the average life expectancy in the U.S. was 78.8 years. That dropped by an entire year in the first half of 2020, the lowest it’s been since 2006. The data for all of 2020 are “estimates based on provisional death counts for the months January through June, 2020.” Last year was the deadliest year in the U.S., with the country topping 3 million deaths for the first time. . .

Black communities experienced the largest drop in life expectancy from 2019-2020, dropping 2.7 years, taking it from 74.7 to 72 years old, matching where life expectancy was for them 20 years ago. The Hispanic population’s life expectancy, which is the highest among races, dropped from 81.8 to 79.9, making the difference from 2019 to 2020 1.9 years. White people experienced the smallest drop in life expectancy going from 78.8 years to 78. The report did not include data on Asian and Native Americans. Wuhan Lab *Was* Cause of COVID-19, Claims Award-Winning Scientist

A new study from renowned University of Hamburg researcher Roland Wiesendanger concludes the Wuhan Institute of Virology was the “cause” of COVID-19.

The February study argues against two prevailing theories that COVID-19 was transmitted to humans either via a wet market or a lab accident.

Wiesendanger’s 105-page report continues, asking: “is the current global crisis actually the result of a coincidence in nature – a coincidental mutation of a coronavirus a bat with the assistance of an intermediate host – or the result of a Scientist carelessness when carrying out the project is high-risk research with global pandemic potential?”

To answer the question, Wiesendanger cites 600 incontrovertible facts to bolster his theory that “the number and the quality of evidence clearly indicate a laboratory accident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

The report also notes a cover-up orchestrated by the Wuhan Institute of Virology:

There is ample independent evidence that a young researcher from the Wuhan Institute of Virology is the first to deal with the novel coronavirus and was thus at the beginning of the COVID-19 infection chain. The entry on the website of the institute has been deleted and has been considered as disappeared.

NYC Waitress Delayed COVID Vaccine Over Fertility Concerns and Got Fired for It

A New York City waitress was fired after she expressed hesitation about taking the COVID-19 vaccine without knowing the effects it might have on women who are trying to get pregnant.

According to a report from the New York Post, management at Brooklyn restaurant Red Hook Tavern dismissed 34-year-old Bonnie Jacobson after she refused to get the vaccine “immediately” under her boss’s mandatory orders because she wanted to see more research about its compatibility with fertility. . .

Jacobson added that while she “fully supports” people getting vaccinated, she chose “not to get the vaccine because there just isn’t enough data or research at this point on its effects on fertility.”

Despite the restaurant’s policy providing vaccine exemptions to people whose “personal health or disability prohibits you from obtaining this vaccination,” Jacobson was still booted to the curb after working a 13-hour shift, in a “shocking” and “hurtful” decision by her employers, considering her commitment to working throughout the pandemic.

“I was expecting to be met by the same flexibility and compassion,” she said. (Read more from “NYC Waitress Delayed COVID Vaccine Over Fertility Concerns and Got Fired for It” HERE)

The Wuhan Lab Will Receive U.S. Taxpayer Funding Through 2024

The Wuhan Institute of Virology is authorized to receive taxpayer funding for animal research until January 2024, the National Institute of Health told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The WIV is at the center of widespread speculation that COVID-19 could have entered the human population in China due to an accidental lab leak. Researchers at the lab were studying bat-based coronaviruses prior to the outbreak, a project partially backed by $600,000 in U.S. taxpayer funds routed to the lab through the nonprofit group EcoHealth Alliance.

The president of EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, was the sole U.S. member of the World Health Organization delegation that investigated the origins of the pandemic on the ground in China in January and February. While the WHO delegation has yet to release a report on their findings, Daszak said the White House should blindly accept their conclusion that it’s highly unlikely the virus could have leaked from the WIV.

Daszak also said American intelligence, which indicates researchers at the WIV became infected with COVID-like symptoms before the first known cases in December 2019, shouldn’t be trusted. (Read more from “The Wuhan Lab Will Receive U.S. Taxpayer Funding Through 2024” HERE)

New Biden K-12 Plan Will Cancel Sports for Nearly 83 Percent of Counties

On Friday the Biden administration released an “Operational Strategy for K-12 Schools through Phased Mitigation” plan that will leave about 83 percent of counties closed for sports and extracurricular activities. That amounts to 2,599 out of 3,138 counties.

The plan divides counties into statuses: blue for “low,” yellow for “moderate,” orange for “substantial,” and red for “high.” In the high red transmission category, “sports and extracurricular activities are virtual only.”

In other words, student athletes can kiss organized sports goodbye for the time being.

According to the most recent CDC guidance, which Biden is relying on for threshold definitions, 391 counties are in the orange phase (12.5 percent), 148 are in yellow (4.7 percent), and only one is in blue phase. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky urged schools to return to in-person learning as soon as possible in the new report, noting that “in-person learning in schools has not been associated with substantial community transmission.” (Read more from “New Biden K-12 Plan Will Cancel Sports for Nearly 83 Percent of Counties” HERE)
