Bombshell Report: Disney Pushing Critical Race Theory Training On Employees

The Walt Disney Corporation has been allegedly holding extensive critical race theory training for employees.

Internal documents obtained by Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at Manhattan Institute, show Disney launching a “diversity and inclusion” program called “Reimagine Tomorrow.” The trainings discuss the leftist ideas of “systemic racism,” “white privilege,” “white fragility,” “white saviors,” “microaggressions,” and “antiracism.” The subtitle of the booklet guide reads: “Allyship for Race Consciousness.”

Disney, which owns ABC, ESPN, Touchstone Pictures, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and other major media companies, instructed employees to “take ownership of educating yourself about structural anti-Black racism” as well as “not rely on your Black colleagues to educate you,” which would be “emotionally taxing.”

“When America’s storied places of joy and refuge from the cares of the world turn themselves into partisan actors and political indoctrination factories, the harm to our social fabric is immeasurable,” Stanley Kurtz, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, told The Federalist. “Disney is dividing the country it once helped to inspire, inviting entirely justified blowback from the vast number of Americans it now derogates, disregards, and caricatures. I thought politicized baseball was the unkindest cut of all, but now this. As Disney and other woke corporations plunge America into the bitterest cultural conflict in memory, they deserve to feel shame, not pride.”

The training modules centralize the notion of “anti-racism” — the idea that Americans must acknowledge their country is systemically racist and eradicate any semblance of a colorblind society. The company told employees they must also “work through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed,” harping on the notion of implicit bias. The phrase “All Lives Matter” was communicated as derogatory, and so was the phrase “I don’t see color.” (Read more from “Bombshell Report: Disney Pushing Critical Race Theory Training On Employees” HERE)

Disney Warns Viewers ‘the Muppet Show’ Is ‘Offensive Content’ That Has a ‘Harmful Impact’

The Muppets, fictional hand-puppets that have been entertaining adults and children alike since 1955, are suddenly “offensive.”

Disney released five seasons of the iconic “The Muppet Show” on its Disney+ streaming service on Friday. Viewers quickly noticed that there is an “offensive content” disclaimer before the beloved sitcom featuring celebrated puppets such as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Gonzo.

“This program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures,” the disclaimer states. “These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now.”

“Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together,” the warning reads.

“Disney is committed to creating stories with inspirational and aspirational themes that reflect the rich diversity of the human experience around the globe,” the statement concludes.

Disney Fired Actress Over a Nazi Comparison but Has No Problem With Chinese Concentration Camps

According to the Walt Disney Company, making Holocaust analogies on social media is a fireable offense, but profiting off an ongoing modern-day genocide is A-OK. Disney-owned Lucasfilm fired “The Mandalorian” actress Gina Carano this week for posting a Nazi comparison on her Instagram.

“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors … even by children,” Carano wrote. “Most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views.”

Lucasfilm told Variety Magazine that “her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.” Yet the actual ongoing rounding up of people based on cultural and religious identities, not just words about it, has yet to be denounced by Lucasfilm’s parent organization.

The Disney company has remained silent when called out for filming its live-action “Mulan” movie in the same region that the Chinese Communist government is holding at least 1 million Uighurs, members of ethnic minorities, in concentration camps, according to the U.S. State Department. Disney even went as far as thanking the CCP and their propaganda departments in the credits of the film. Disney Adds Warnings for Racist Content to ‘Peter Pan,’ ‘Dumbo,’ Other Classic Films

Disney has added disclaimers to classic films on its streaming service to warn viewers that some scenes contain “negative depictions” and “mistreatment of people or cultures.”

“These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now. Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together,” says the 12-second disclaimer, which cannot be skipped.

The films include “Dumbo” from 1941, “Peter Pan” from 1953, “Swiss Family Robinson” from 1960, and “The Aristocats” from 1970. The disclaimer also directs viewers to a website titled “Stories Matter,” which says, “Because happily ever after doesn’t just happen.”

“As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, we are in the process of reviewing our library and adding advisories to content that includes negative depictions or mistreatment of people or cultures,” the site says. “We can’t change the past, but we can acknowledge it, learn from it and move forward together to create a tomorrow that today can only dream of.” (Read more from “Disney Adds Warnings for Racist Content to ‘Peter Pan,’ ‘Dumbo,’ Other Classic Films” HERE)

Disney Under Fire for Filming ‘Mulan’ in Chinese City With Concentration Camps

Disney has drawn a backlash for its indifference to religious freedom and human rights, cozying up to the Chinese Communist Party and filming parts of its new live action blockbuster Mulan in a city that incarcerates Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities.

In March, 2016, Disney threatened to boycott the state of Georgia over a religious freedom bill that guaranteed faith-based organizations and individuals the right to abstain from activities violating their “sincerely held religious beliefs.” . . .

While Disney saw fit to punish Georgia for its zealous dedication to religious freedom, now the company has rewarded the Chinese Communist Party for its egregious violations of human rights and religious freedom.

Disney’s elected to film its live-action remake of Mulan in China’s Xinjiang province, the very site of China’s documented widespread human rights abuses against Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities. China has interned at least one million Muslims in Xinjiang extrajudicial concentration camps and officials have reportedly subjected Uyghur women to hard labor and torture as well as forced sterilizations and abortions.

In the final credits of the film, Disney offers “special thanks” to eight government entities in Xinjiang, including the public security bureau in Turpan, a city in eastern Xinjiang where several re-education camps are located. Boycott Alert: Disney Guts Christianity From Movie About Tolkien

Disney’s new film Tolkien premiers this weekend, and the trailers promise an engrossing biopic, complete with scenes from the First World War. The movie aims to show how J.R.R. Tolkien’s early life inspired the creative genius behind such works as The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, which are rightly recognized as classics and which both inspired epic film franchises (one far superior to the other).

Yet the new Disney film cuts out some of the most important influences in his life. The movie does not once mention the great ex-atheist and Christian author C.S. Lewis, a close friend of Tolkien. Indeed, Tolkien said he would never have completed The Lord of the Rings without Lewis’ “great encouragement.” The movie also does not mention the Inklings, the society of writers who read each other’s works and spurred both Lewis and Tolkien on to greatness. . .

Worst, however, is the film’s neglect for Tolkien’s faith, which inspired his entire life. The movie also cuts out the literary works that inspired his imagination — touchstones of the Western literary tradition. In fact, the author’s literary masterpiece The Lord of the Rings is heavily influenced not just by the Western literary tradition but by Christianity and Jesus in particular.

“This handsome, earnest, yet overstuffed and poorly paced film deviates frequently from the historical record,” Father Michael Ward wrote in The Catholic Herald. “Most seriously, it ignores Tolkien’s devout Christian faith: there is no indication that he served Mass daily as a boy or ever even entered a Catholic church.” Indeed, this may be a reason why the Tolkien estate disavowed the film. ‘Disney’ Actor Arrested for Trying to Solicit Sex With a 13-Year-Old Boy

Disney Channel actor Stoney Westmoreland was arrested after arranging to meet up with whom he believed to be a 13-year-old boy for a sexual encounter. Westmoreland, who plays the grandfather character named Henry Mack on Disney’s “Andi Mack,” was en route to meet the supposed child when he was apprehended by Salt Lake City police and the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force on Friday.

Disney announced Friday that they had terminated Westmoreland’s role on the show due to the nature of the arrest. “Andi Mack” is filmed in Salt Lake City.

“Stoney Westmoreland, an actor working on the series ‘Andi Mack,’ was arrested in Salt Lake City today,” said a Disney Channel spokesperson, according to Page Six. “Given the nature of the charges and our responsibility for the welfare of employed minors, we have released him from his recurring role and he will not be returning to work on the series which wraps production on its third season next week.” . . .

The actor was corresponding with the supposed child, whom he met through an online dating app, in a sexual capacity before the arrest. “According to reports citing court documents, Westmoreland asked the minor to engage in oral sex and other sexual acts, and requested that the minor send him nude photos,” reports Page Six. According to ABC News 4, Westmoreland sent the minor pornographic photos of himself. . .

As noted by ABC News 4, the characters on the “Andi Mack” show are the same age as Westmoreland’s alleged victim: 13. “The comedy, created by Terri Minsky, follows 13-year-old Andi Mack and her best friends, Cyrus Goodman and Buffy Driscoll, as they attend middle school.” (Read more from “‘Disney’ Actor Arrested for Trying to Solicit Sex With a 13-Year-Old Boy” HERE)

Watch: Chris Pratt Reads Luke’s Gospel at Disneyland’s Candlelight Ceremony, Speaks of God’s Love for His Children

For some inexplicable reason that can only be described as a Christmas miracle, Disneyland has continued to uphold its overtly religious Candlelight ceremony every year since the park opened in 1955. A ceremony filled by light and wonder, where visitors to the “happiest place on earth” are invited to remember the holiest event in history, complete with traditional Christmas hymns like “Silent Night” and a reading of Luke’s Gospel from a celebrity guest.

This year’s reading was offered by none other than Chris Pratt from Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Past narrators include Darth Vader’s alter-ego James Earl Jones, Dick Van Dyke and Ginnifer Goodwin, whose vocal talents could be heard in “Zootopia.”

According to Theme Park Insider, the annual Candlelight processional offered at Disneyland is markedly different than the one offered at Disney World’s Epcot. For 63 years, the Disneyland event has remained “an exclusive affair, playing just four shows across two nights on the first weekend in December.” No seats are offered to the public and it’s invitation-only. Spectators, however, can watch the show in designated standing room-viewing areas in the perimeter of Main Street’s Town Square.

“The show begins with a live orchestra performing an overture of holidays songs, as the choir proceeds down Main Streets,” reports TPI. “As they enter Town Square, we hear the 600 voices for the first time, as the orchestra accompanies their procession on to the stage, illuminated by their candles and the Star of Bethlehem on the Main Street train station.”

“More than a dozen local school, church, and community choirs joined singers from the Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios cast,” the report continues. “The program includes all the greatest hits of the holiday choral repertoire, including ‘Away in a Manger,’ ‘Angels We Have Heard on High,’ ‘What Child Is This?’ and ‘Silent Night,’ interspersed with the telling of the Christmas story from the Bible.” (Read more from “Watch: Chris Pratt Reads Luke’s Gospel at Disneyland’s Candlelight Ceremony, Speaks of God’s Love for His Children” HERE)

Women Now Claim This Popular Disney Song Promotes Sexual Assault

An all-male a cappella group at a prestigious university will no longer sing one well-known Disney song because some audience members — and one sophomore who wrote an article about it for the student newspaper — found it to be “uncomfortable.” . . .

One of the school’s all-male a cappella groups, the Princeton Tigertones, will no longer perform its popular rendition of “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid after the complaints. During their performance, the group invites a woman from the audience to join them as they sing and “playfully dance with her for a bit,” according to Inside Higher Ed. As the song reaches a close, the group invites a male audience member, pretend to groom him, and then put the two together, asking that they kiss, as the song suggests. The random couple complies, “sometimes on with a peck on the cheek, sometimes briefly on the lips,” Inside Higher Ed reported.

On November 26, sophomore Noa Wollstein wrote an opinion article for the Daily Princetonian asking the Tigertones to stop singing the song because it “is more misogynistic and dismissive of consent than cute.”

“Its lyrics raise some serious issues. The premise of the song, originally sung in the Disney film The Little Mermaid, is that the male Prince Eric, on a date with the beautiful female Ariel, should kiss her without asking for a single word to affirm her consent. Despite the fact that an evil sea-witch cursed Ariel’s voice away, making verbal consent impossible, the song is clearly problematic from the get-go,” Wollstein wrote.

She claims that if you take away the mermaids and the magic, the “message comes across as even more jarring.” She cites the lyrics “It’s possible she wants you too/There’s one way to ask her/It don’t take a word, not a single word/Go on and kiss the girl, kiss the girl” and ““she won’t say a word/Until you kiss that girl,” as problematic. These lyrics, she insists, “unambiguously encourage men to make physical advances on women without obtaining their clear consent.” (Read more from “Women Now Claim This Popular Disney Song Promotes Sexual Assault” HERE)

Guy Gets Banned From Disney – Here’s the Ridiculous Reason Why (It Has to Do With Trump)

A man just got banned from Disney World for displaying a “Trump 2020” sign on the ride Splash Mountain during the photo drop and for displaying a “Keep America Great Again” sign on Expedition Everest.

“A man who displayed signs supporting Donald Trump is permanently not permitted at all Walt Disney World properties for violating the rules,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. . .

The man, Don Cini, had his annual pass taken away from him previously for a similar stunt. Disney, however, had a change of heart and granted him his pass back. They took it away once again for the same reason. Don Cini, however, maintains that he displayed the signs on the ride to “test them.”

“They never mentioned the fact that there was some kind of safety issue on the ride. That I was holding up a sign and I shouldn’t be doing that,” Cini told WFTV. “And I wanted to actually abide by their rules, and not hold up a flag to incite a crowd, but I kind of wanted to test them. I just really wanted to find out whether or not it had to do with unfurling a flag, or what was written on the flag.” . . .

While people might be quick to blast Disney for picking on a Trump supporter, a spokesman for the park said the ban comes from Cini “not following park rules.” To the park’s credit, it did not cave into SJW pressure when leftists demanded that President Trump not be included in the “Hall of Presidents” exhibit. In fact, the recently-elected president got his own animatronic and provided his own voice for the recorded speech.
