Witness Claims Federal Agents Bragged About Murdering Seth Rich; Family Condemns ‘Conspiracy Theories’

By Big League Politics. A witness claimed Tuesday that he heard a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) witness and an Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) agent discussing how they killed Seth Rich, the leaker of internal DNC emails to WikiLeaks, in the summer of 2016 right before the Democratic National Convention.

Lobbyist Jack Burkman, who said that he was recently shot while investigating the case, presented the witness at the Holiday Inn in Rosslyn. The witness is masked and had his voice disguised when audio of his statement played at the press conference set up by Burkman.

Similar theories have pointed to two MS-13 members who were allegedly hired by the federal government to kill Rich in the wee morning hours near his D.C. apartment. But this witness makes it clear that DEA and ATF boasted about their role in the assassination.

(The investigator begins talking a little after the 19 minute mark; the alleged witness begins speaking at 33:50)

Seth Rich’s Parents Condemn Conspiracy Theorists on Anniversary of Murder

By Washington Examiner. The parents of slain Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich on Tuesday condemned conspiracy theorists who are pushing false information two years after the death of their son.

“We would like to remind those who are not law enforcement officials who claim to be helping by conducting ‘investigations’ are not helping at all,” Joel and Mary Rich wrote.

Rich’s parents said the people spreading conspiracy theories are interfering with the official police investigation into their son’s murder.

Dems’ IT Scandal to Explode With Possible Plea Deal

Imran Awan, the former IT aide to congressional Democrats, including former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is prepared to strike a plea deal with prosecutors, court filings indicate.

A plea agreement hearing for Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, has been set for July 3 before U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan in Washington, according to a filing Tuesday, FoxNews.com reported.

Imran Awan, and his brothers Abid and Jamal, allegedly ran a ghost employee scheme along with their wives that took in nearly $6 million over the years. After wiring approximately $300,000 to his native Pakistan in July 2017, Imran Awan was arrested by the FBI at Dulles International Airport and indicted on four counts of bank fraud after prosecutors said the suspects tried to flee the country. He was carrying $12,000 in cash at the time of his arrest.

The indictments were only for bank fraud – not the IT breach – but sources have made it clear that the bank fraud charges are merely a way to hold the defendants, according to Frank Miniter, who says he has investigated the case for an upcoming book, “Spies in Congress.” . . .

Investigators were particularly interested in whether or not anyone else in the congressional offices was involved in alleged improper activity, including Wasserman Schultz and former Rep. Xavier Becerra, D-Calif., who employed Awan when Becerra was chairman of the House Democratic Caucus. Becerra is now California attorney general. Dems Sue Russia, Trump, and Assange for ‘Damages’ from 2016 Vote

With the high level of vitriol still emanating from Democrats over the results of the 2016 presidential election, a lawsuit was inevitable.

And now a suit has been filed in Manhattan by the Democratic National Committee accusing Russia, President Trump, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and others of working together to “undermine” Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

The suit names the Russian Federation; general staff of the armed forces of the Russian Federation; GRU Operative using pseudonym ‘Guccifer 2.0’; Aras Iskenerovich Agalarov; Emin Araz Agalarov; Joseph Mifsud; Wikileaks; Julian Assange; Donald J. Trump for President Inc.; Donald J. Trump Jr.; Paul J. Manafort Jr.; Roger J. Stone Jr.; Jared C. Kushner; George Papadopoulos; Richard W. Gates III; and John Does 1-10.”

It alleges violations of various statutes, including Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, RICO, RICO Conspiracy, Wiretap Act, Stored Communications Act, Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the Defend Trade Secrets Act, Uniform Trade Secrets Act, Trespass, conspiracy and Virginia Computer Crimes Act.

The DNC claims that in the Trump campaign, Russia “found a willing and active partner in this effort” to launch “a brazen attack on the 2016 election.” . . .

Tom Perez, the DNC chairman, said: “This constituted an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for president of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency.” (Read more from “Dems Sue Russia, Trump, and Assange for ‘Damages’ from 2016 Vote” HERE)

Hacker Doubles Down: It Was Seth Rich Who Took DNC Files

A prominent computer hacker who believes it was a Democratic National Committee insider who stole the DNC emails that were made public by WikiLeaks during the 2016 presidential campaign is doubling down on his claim.

The hacker, Kim Dotcom, said in a tweet Monday that “the DNC hack wasn’t even a hack,” reported Tyler Durden at the Zerohedge blog.

“It was an insider with a memory stick. I know this because I know who did it and why. Special Counsel Mueller is not interested in my evidence. My lawyers wrote to him twice. He never replied. 360 pounds,” Dotcom wrote.

Dotcom previously claimed DNC staffer Seth Rich, whose murder in July 2016 remains unsolved, was behind the leak of the emails to WikiLeaks and was developing technologies to expose corruption and the influence of corporate money in politics.

The tweet followed shortly after President Trump’s tweet Monday on the “Russia” investigation: “I never said Russia did not meddle in the election, I said ‘it may be Russia, or China or another country or group, or it may be a 400 pound genius sitting in bed and playing with this computer.’ The Russian ‘hoax’ was that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia – it never did!”

Was the DNC Actually Hacked? Trump-Russia Narrative Continues to Collapse

Prior to the publication of the infamous Trump-Russia dossier, the DNC server intrusion and the Podesta email account “hack” were put forward as the first pieces of evidence that Russia was running a weaponized cyber campaign to support then-candidate Trump. But what if these hacking allegations are entirely baseless, just like the “salacious and unverified” allegations in the infamous dossier?

At the tail end of the 2016 presidential election season, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) spun the mainstream media into a frenzy by announcing that its servers had been hacked. The supposedly shocking news came just months after the Gmail account of Hillary Clinton campaign chief John Podesta was “hacked,” resulting in his emails falling into the hands of WikiLeaks. Shortly thereafter, most of the media reported as fact the DNC’s determination that “the Russians” were responsible for the hacking of both the DNC and the Podesta email account.

Since then, many in the media have long concluded, based on the word of a political organization, that Vladimir Putin’s Russia was all in on then-candidate Trump’s electoral ambitions. This of course proved the wild conspiracies in the “Trump-Russia” dossier, too, they rationalized.

The Podesta hack was really a consequence of historically awful information security and complete ignorance. The Clinton campaign chairman was suckered into an amateurish phishing scam, which was reported inaccurately as a sophisticated state-sponsored operation. It was later discovered that his email password was the word “password.”

It has been over a year since the DNC claimed the Russians hacked their servers.

Throughout the past year, the DNC has consistently insisted that the organization was the victim of a major Russian infiltration effort.

Shortly after the time of the reported hack, signs emerged that something was a bit off. The FBI was denied access to the DNC servers. Therefore, federal law enforcement was never able to make an independent determination about what happened. “This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third party for information,” a frustrated FBI official vented in reaction to the hacking claims. Even President Obama described the hack as “not particularly sophisticated.”

“This was not some elaborate, complicated espionage scheme,” Obama added.

Moreover, Crowdstrike, the third-party cybersecurity outfit tasked with determining that the Russians hacked the DNC servers, has several organizational ties to passionate supporters of Hillary Clinton’s presidential ambitions.

Now, BuzzFeed, which published the political opposition document known informally as the Trump-Russia dossier, is suing the DNC in hopes that they’ll turn over evidence that shows the Russians hacked the organization. BuzzFeed is in the heat of a libel suit for publishing the completely unproven dossier and apparently hopes that the DNC can support its outlandish claims.

The DNC, however, has chosen not to comply. It claims that providing evidence for the Russian hack would render the organization vulnerable to further hacking.

To recap: The DNC has claimed, without a shred of evidence, that Russians hacked the DNC as part of a sophisticated cyber campaign that threatens the foundations of our republic. All we really know thus far is that John Podesta did not follow basic protocol in securing his email address and that the DNC has not produced any evidence to verify its claims. It could also very well be the case that Russian hackers indeed got to the Democrat entities. However, there is still no evidence that the campaign required much sophistication or that it was directed from the top echelons of the Kremlin. DNC Reportedly Dead Broke

The Democratic National Committee had a rough 2017, plagued by leadership troubles, internal squabbling, and unflattering reports. To top it off, the party ended the year “dead broke,” says The Intercept’s Ryan Grim.

The Democratic Party is carrying more than $6 million in debt, according to year-end filings — and has just $6.5 million in the bank. Do the math, and the party is working with just over $400,000 overall. Meanwhile, the Republicans are swimming in pools of money. The Republican National Committee had raised $132 million by the end of 2017 — about twice as much as the DNC — and entered 2018 with almost $40 million to spare, with not a penny of debt.

Crisis: Top DNC Official Is out in Less Than a Year After Disastrous Fundraising Run

By The Daily Wires. A top official in the Democratic National Committee is out in less than a year on the job after the party continued to struggle financially, something that many top Democrats have warned will cause significant problems for them in the 2018 midterms.

Jess O’Connell, the former EMILY’s List Executive Director, took over the DNC as CEO in May 2017 after the party endured multiple special election losses to the Republicans and as Clinton-loyalist Tom Perez took over as the new chairman, NBC News reported . . .

O’Connell’s departure comes just two days after a report highlighting the deep concern felt by Democrats across the country over the party’s lack of funding and how that could stifle any momentum they think they might have heading into the 2018 midterms. Local Democrats Warn Dnc: Cash Crunch Threatens November Gains

By Politico. Local Democratic Party leaders are convinced a wave is coming in November. But they’re increasingly worried they won’t be able to ride it.

At a time when many Democratic candidates and groups are reporting record-breaking fundraising, the top state party officials gathered here for the meeting of the Association of State Democratic Committees say their local parties are cash-starved, raising the prospect that they won’t be able to take full advantage of what could be a historic opportunity in the midterm elections.

Local committees are in desperate need of more money if they’re going to support the costly precinct-level organizing and political groundwork needed to win back the House of Representatives, compete for the Senate and governor’s mansions, and swing back state legislatures, they say.

“If we’re able to accomplish all we hope, the concept would be to take advantage of a wave year, and make it as big as possible,” said New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Raymond Buckley, who has been vocal about the need for state parties to receive more funding, or to risk missing out on that wave altogether. Double Standard? Pelosi Defends Dem Congressman Following Sexual Harassment Allegations

By NBC News. Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., stepped down as the ranking Democratic member of the House Judiciary Committee on Sunday, following sexual harassment accusations.

The 27-term congressman said he denied the allegations, but was stepping down because of the ongoing House Ethics Committee investigation.

“I deny these allegations, many of which were raised by documents reportedly paid for by a partisan alt-right blogger. I very much look forward to vindicating myself and my family before the House Committee on Ethics,” Conyers said in a statement . . .

Appearing on “Meet The Press” earlier in the day, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi urged “due process” before making conclusions about Rep. Conyers, saying the congressman is “an icon” who has worked to protect women.

“We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused — and was it one accusation? Is it two?” Pelosi asked. (Read more from “Pelosi Defends Dem Congressman Following Sexual Harassment Allegations” HERE)

Shattuck: Nancy Pelosi’s Dem Double Standard

By Tom Shattuck. Yesterday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi declared “zero tolerance” on sexual misconduct.

So, Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) — who used more than $27,000 in taxpayer dollars to settle a complaint that an employee was fired for refusing his sexual advances — is toast, right?

Wrong. In the past few weeks a multitude of loopholes have emerged to give cover to badly behaving Dems. Pelosi yesterday used a loophole trifecta for Conyers on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

“We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused — and was it one accusation? Is it two?” Pelosi said. “John Conyers is an icon in our country,” and finally, “He has done a great deal to protect women.”

Legal settlements were sufficient to force Bill O’Reilly out, and accusations are enough to demand that Roy Moore withdraw. But not so for Democrats, whose usefulness to women has given them carte blanche to harass them going back to Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy and beyond. Pelosi’s implied suspicion about Conyers’ accuser, touting of Conyers’ reputation, and citing of his legislative record means this: If you’re a woman working on Capitol Hill, run like hell. A number of men have been deemed to have politically based diplomatic immunity and you’re the little lambs within the confines of a sexual petting zoo. Lawsuit Demands Brazile ‘Tell All’ About Seth Rich Murder

The Washington lawyer who’s been on the hunt for slain DNC staffer Seth Rich’s killer and is suing the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton for allegedly rigging the 2016 presidential primary against Bernie Sanders now is going after another high-powered Democrat: Donna Brazile.

Brazile knows the truth about Rich’s mysterious death, attorney and Republican lobbyist Jack Burkman contends.

As WND reported, Burkman filed a lawsuit on Oct. 18 against the Democratic National Committee and scandal-ridden twice-failed Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in D.C. Superior Court.

The complaint is seeking financial compensation for Sanders’ supporters who contributed to the Vermont senator’s campaign by donating to the DNC. Burkman is also demanding the release of the DNC emaile server, which contained troves of Clinton campaign and DNC emails that were published by whistleblower organization WikiLeaks.

Burkman amended the suit Tuesday to include Donna Brazile, the former interim DNC chief, amid bombshell revelations she makes in her book. (Read more from “Lawsuit Demands Brazile ‘Tell All’ About Seth Rich Murder” HERE)

DNC Manager Says ‘Cisgender Straight White Males’ Need Not Apply

The Democratic National Committee is looking for new hires in the technology department, but straight white males need not apply.

On Monday, DNC data services manager Madeleine Leader sent an email to DNC insiders with the subject line “Work at the DNC!” A copy of the email, obtained by Elliott Hamilton at the Daily Wire, lists eight open positions at the DNC and asks the recipients to forward the information to their contacts.

“As you may have heard, we are rebuilding the Technology Team into a robust well-oiled machine that can tackle all elections from the Presidential down to Dog Catcher and School Board,” Leader writes.

But then she adds, “What’s more important is that we are focused on hiring and maintaining a staff of diverse voices and life experiences, something that we desperately need if we hope to secure the future of our country.”

Leader then clarifies what she means by “diverse;” namely, explicit hiring discrimination.

“I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight white males, since they’re already in the majority,” she instructs the email recipients.

So if you want to work at the technology department in the DNC, it’s not really your qualifications that matter. It’s whether you tick certain checkboxes on the racial/sexual identity victimhood forms every wannabe progressive Democrat must fill out before talking about their resume and work experience.

The anonymous DNC source that tipped off the Daily Wire responded to this email, saying the DNC is “doubling down on a failed strategy that has alienated staffers and voters alike.”

Well, more power to them. If the DNC doesn’t want to hire the best candidates for technology jobs that are crucial to winning elections, let the Democratic Party rot in a permanent electoral minority. But just watch those hypocrites keep turning around and claiming to be the party of “inclusivity.” (For more from the author of “DNC Manager Says ‘Cisgender Straight White Males’ Need Not Apply” HERE)
