We Were Warned: Donald Trump’s 2020 Gas Price Prediction Comes True (VIDEO)

Donald Trump’s 2020 prediction that gas prices under President Biden would reach $7.00 per gallon came true this week.

The price of gas in Gorda, California, reached $7.59 on Sunday. Fuel stations in Los Angeles County were also selling premium gasoline for more than $7.00 a gallon. One gas station in Los Angeles was advertising gas for $6.99.

The average price for gas in California is $5.343. Nationally, the average price of gas is $4.065, up over one dollar from last year.

Trump predicted gas would reach $7 under Biden on November 3, 2020, right before election day. It took just over a year after Biden assumed office for Trump’s prediction to come true.

Durham: Lies About Trump Directed ‘Russiagate’ Probe

What if the powers that be in the FBI and other agencies had known and recognized at the outset that the “Russiagate” conspiracy theory about President Trump was a political scheme, that it was funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and it essentially was made up?

There likely would have been a different course for the United States, according to a new court filing from special counsel John Durham, who was tasked with uncovering the origins – and crimes – connected to the now-debunked rumors circulated during the administration of Barack Obama, and after, about Trump.

According to a new court filing obtained by Just the News, Durham assessed the situation in the filing.

“Had the defendant truthfully informed the FBI General Counsel that he was providing the information on behalf of one or more clients, as opposed to merely acting as a ‘good citizen,’ the FBI General Counsel and other FBI personnel might have asked a multitude of additional questions material to the case initiation process,” Durham wrote in the filing.

“Given the temporal proximity to the 2016 U.S. presidential election, the FBI also might have taken any number of different steps in initiating, delaying, or declining the initiation of this matter had it known at the time that the defendant was providing information on behalf of the Clinton campaign and a technology executive at a private company,” he added. YouTube Suspends Popular News Channel Simply for Playing Clip of Donald Trump

YouTube suspended popular news channel The Hill for playing a clip of former President Donald Trump claiming the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

YouTube suspended The Hill’s channel due to violating its policies after its morning show, “Rising,” posted two clips of Trump denying the validity of the results of the election, Rising’s Twitter account said Thursday. The Hill’s channel is unable to upload new videos for seven days, although its older videos can still be accessed.

“We covered former President Trump’s remarks about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine,” Rising’s Twitter account said. “In a soundbite, he repeated his claim that the 2020 election was stolen. Our discussion focused on what Trump said about Putin and did not explicitly rebut claims of election fraud.”

The content in question featured Trump speaking with Fox News host Laura Ingraham and attributing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to the election results, as well as raw footage of Trump continuing to deny the validity of the election results during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

January 6 Committee Claims Trump Part of ‘Criminal Conspiracy’

The United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack claimed in a court filing on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump and lawyer John Eastman were part of a “criminal conspiracy” to overturn the 2020 election.

CNN reported Thursday:

Former President Donald Trump and a right-wing lawyer were part of a “criminal conspiracy” to overturn the 2020 presidential election, the House select committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riot alleges in a court filing Wednesday.

The filing is part of an attempt to convince a judge to allow the panel access to emails from lawyer John Eastman, who is claiming attorney-client privilege. The committee said he helped to orchestrate the plot.

In the 61-page court filing on Wednesday, lawyers for the House wrote: “Evidence and information available to the Committee establishes a good-faith belief that Mr. Trump and others may have engaged in criminal and/or fraudulent acts, and that Plaintiff’s legal assistance was used in furtherance of those activities.”

Fear of Donald Trump Kept Putin From Invading Ukraine

A recent Harvard-Harris poll found that 62 percent of Americans believe that Russia would not have invaded Ukraine if Donald Trump were still in the Oval Office. As former senior intelligence officials under President Trump, we agree with that view.

Russia invaded Georgia in 2008 when George W. Bush was president. Russia took Crimea in 2014 when Barack Obama was president. Russia has now invaded Ukraine with Joe Biden as president. However, when Donald Trump was president, Russia did not seize territory from any of its neighbors.

During his four years in office, Trump not only successfully deterred Russia from acting against Ukraine, he effectively deterred a lot of bad behavior across the planet. He focused on ending America’s foreign wars rather than launching new ones. At the same time, he brokered the Abraham Accords to expand peace in the Middle East.

The exercise of American power to deter adversaries is a complicated business. It involves a mix of military, economic, political, and diplomatic strategies and actions that together communicate the costs of threatening U.S. national interests. The Right ‘Loves Putin’ and Other Lies the Media Tell About Trump and Russia

What is it about Russia and Vladimir Putin that forces the American national media to lie, make things up, and blurt out statements that have no basis in reality? The latest fiction is that Republicans and conservatives have a newfound affinity for Putin.

If you only watched MSNBC or read The New York Times, you’d be forgiven for holding the impression that all of Fox News and the Republican party have draped themselves in Russian flags and set up GoFundMes for the invasion of Ukraine.

The Times on Sunday ran the headline, “How the American Right Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Russia,” by Emily Tamkin. According to the piece, the “American political right” has in recent years “shifted toward fawning praise for autocrats” and now views authoritarian regimes like Russia’s as “symbols of U.S. conservatism — a mirror for the right-wing worldview.”

That sounds awful! Tamkin’s examples of this “fawning praise for autocrats” include Tucker Carlson telling his audience to ask, “Why do I hate Putin so much?”; former President Trump referring to Putin as “smart” and “savvy”; and GOP candidate for the U.S. Senate J.D. Trump Was Right About Germany and NATO. Their Latest Move Proves It. (VIDEO)

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced Sunday he will dedicate at least two percent of the country’s GDP to defense, fully satisfying membership requirements for the NATO alliance. For years Germany has been paying well below the requirement and committed amount to deter Russian aggression. . .

But it wasn’t so long ago that President Donald Trump repeatedly urged all European countries, including Germany, to step up and fulfill their commitments to NATO.

“What good is NATO if Germany is paying Russia billions of dollars for gas and energy? Why are there only 5 out of 29 countries that have met their commitment? The U.S. is paying for Europe’s protection, then loses billions on Trade. Must pay 2% of GDP IMMEDIATELY, not by 2025,” Trump tweeted in July 2018.

Trump On 2024: ‘We’re Going to Be Doing It Again, a Third Time’ (VIDEO)

Former President Donald Trump made a serious hint in his speech Saturday at CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference, that he’ll be running for president again in 2024.

“We are a sleeping giant,” Trump said, speaking to America’s adversaries, such as Russia and China.

“They’re going to find out the hard way starting on Nov. 8, and then even more so on November 2024, they will find out like never before. We did it twice and we’ll do it again, we’re going to be doing it again, a third time,” he said, an apparent reference to his upcoming third campaign for the presidency.

“2022 will be the year that millions of every day citizens stand up to the leftwing fascists, and they will continue and we will all continue together to make America great again. Laughable: Hillary Clinton Claims Putin Motivated to Invade Ukraine by Trump, January 6

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in a Friday Atlantic op-ed blamed Russia’s assault on Ukraine on former President Donald Trump, tying Vladimir Putin’s ongoing invasion to the January 6 Capitol riot.

In an opinion piece that used the word “democracy” 47 times, Clinton claimed Putin, the “implacable enemy of democracy,” attacked Ukraine in part because “Republican leaders are abandoning core tenets of American democracy even as the stakes in the global contest between democracy and autocracy are clearer and higher than at any time since the end of the Cold War.”

It should be noted that Ukraine has struggled to enter NATO. According to Biden, Ukraine needs to reduce nationwide corruption to enter NATO. “The fact is they still have to clean up corruption,” Biden said in 2021.

“Trump has always had a personal attachment to Putin,” Clinton continued, “which we don’t need to belabor here, and a long-standing admiration for dictators and disdain for democracy—going all the way back to his admiration for the brutal Chinese crackdown in Tiananmen Square decades ago.”

Clinton highlighted Putin as a threat to “the promise of democracy — freedom, rule of law, human rights, self-determination” and proceeded to praise Democrat-allied Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Rep. Trump on Ukraine Invasion: ‘This Is Something That Should Have Never Happened’

Wednesday, on the heels of reports that Russia had launched a “full-scale invasion” of Ukraine, former President Donald Trump proclaimed Russian President Vladimir Putin would not have acted in this way under his leadership. . .

“This is something that should have never happened,” he said. “This would not have happened during my administration. In fact, some people were saying, why didn’t this take place over the past four years during my administration? And it didn’t for a very good reason. I’ll explain that to you someday. But it wouldn’t have taken place, and it wouldn’t have taken place right now.
