Donald Trump Severs Ties With Corey Lewandowski After Sexual Harassment Allegations From Republican Donor

Former President Donald Trump severed ties with Corey Lewandowski on Wednesday after he was accused of sexual harassment, a spokesman for the president confirmed.

“Corey Lewandowski will be going on to other endeavors and we very much want to thank him for his service,” wrote the Director of Communications for Save America and Donald J. Trump, Taylor Budowich, on social media. “He will no longer be associated with Trump World.”

Lewandowski, who served as Trump’s campaign manager until he was fired in June 2016, remained in Trump’s orbit throughout his presidency.

In 2021, Trump appointed him to lead Make America Great Again Action, a Super PAC backed by the former president, before the allegations surfaced,

Trump appointed former Attorney General of Florida Pam Bondi to replace Lewandowski. (Read more from “Donald Trump Severs Ties With Corey Lewandowski After Sexual Harassment Allegations From Republican Donor” HERE)

Trump Gets Big Numbers at Georgia Rally as GOP Pushes to Flip State Back To Red

If Republicans hope to return the Peach State back to the GOP column in 2022 and beyond, Saturday’s appearance by former President Donald Trump at the Georgia National Fairgrounds was a hopeful sign.

An estimated 20,000 people attended Saturday’s Trump rally in central Georgia’s Houston County.

The event fell on the fourth week of college football season during a slate of SEC football games that included the University of Georgia facing Vanderbilt. But that deter people from making the trek eight months after an election cycle that led to the state going for a Democratic presidential candidate for the first time since 1980 and giving up two U.S. Senate seat to Democrat candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

The former president’s remarks included criticisms of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to a gathering heavily in favor of auditing the 2020 elections, attacks on the Biden administration for mishandling the Afghanistan withdrawal and immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border, and an appearance by U.S. Marine Lcpl. Hunter Clark, who was seen pulling an Afghan infant over the Kabul airport wall. (Read more from “Trump Gets Big Numbers at Georgia Rally as GOP Pushes to Flip State Back To Red” HERE)

You Cannot Unsee This Hilarious Photoshop Trump Just Dropped

On Thursday night, Donald Trump sent his email subscribers a bizarre photoshopped image of Liz Cheney and George W. Bush spliced together and I am shook.

The photo was the only content in the email, other than the subject line of “ICYMI: Must-See Photo.”

Trump Approval Outpacing Biden’s in New Poll

American voters are steadily losing confidence in President Biden, whose approval rating has hit a new low since he took office — while former President Donald Trump’s approval rating is on the rise.

According to a new poll released by Gallup on Wednesday, only 43 percent of Americans approve of the way Biden is handling his job as president, dropping from 49 percent in August. . .

As disapproval grows, Trump is seeing a rise in his own approval rating, overtaking Biden by approximately 2 percentage points, a separate poll found.

Forty-eight percent of American voters were found to have a positive view of Trump, while only 46 percent said they favored Biden, according to a Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey shared with multiple outlets. . .

As rumors continue to swirl about whether Trump will run again in 2024, 51 percent of the 1,578 respondents said Trump was a better president than Biden. Only 49 percent said they preferred Biden over Trump. (Read more from “Trump Approval Outpacing Biden’s in New Poll” HERE)

Trump Files Lawsuit Against His Niece, New York Times

Former President Donald Trump filed a $100 million lawsuit against The New York Times and his niece Mary Trump on Tuesday, alleging his confidential tax documents were improperly shared.

The lawsuit, which was filed in the New York Supreme Court, alleged that New York Times reporters Susanne Craig, David Barstow and Russell Buettner pressured Mary Trump to share the former president’s tax documents for an article they were working on in 2018, the Associated Press reported.

“The brazenness of the defendants’ actions cannot be understated,” the lawsuit said. “A group of journalists with The New York Times, in the middle of an extensive crusade to obtain Donald J. Trump’s confidential tax records, relentlessly sought out his niece, Mary L. Trump, and convinced her to smuggle the records out of her attorney’s office and turn them over to The Times.”

Trump’s lawsuit stated that the reporters understood their actions were illegal since they used burner phones to communicate about the story and offered Mary Trump anonymity as a source.

Mary Trump participated in the allegedly illegal sharing of documents because she was “motivated by a personal vendetta,” the lawsuit said. She admitted to being the NYT’s anonymous source in a 2020 book highlighting her relationship with her uncle. (Read more from “Trump Files Lawsuit Against His Niece, New York Times” HERE)

Biden Will Use Trump Rule To Justify Mass Deportation in Border Crisis

The Biden administration plans to use Title 42, which former president Donald Trump activated in March 2020, to expel some of the roughly 14,500 illegal immigrants who are sheltering under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas.

The rule allows Customs and Border Protection to immediately expel immigrants, including asylum seekers, from the United States without hearings if they pose a serious risk of communicable disease. During the 2020 election, Joe Biden promised to deport no immigrants during his first hundred days in office and that afterward “the only deportations that will take place are commissions of felonies.” His campaign called the Trump administration’s immigration policy an “assault on our values.”

Biden’s campaign website promised that he would “secure our border, while ensuring the dignity of migrants and upholding their legal right to seek asylum.” A link prompted on the website called for special protections for Haitian asylum seekers. Memo Reportedly Outlines Trump Lawyer’s Six-Step Plan To Overturn Biden’s Victory

An attorney aiding former President Donald Trump’s failed bid to overturn the 2020 election provided then-Vice President Mike Pence with a six-step plan to do so, journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa say in their new book.

The duo obtained the memo, first reported by CNN, which was presented to Pence on Jan. 4, two days before he was set to certify the election before Congress. It centered around throwing out votes in seven states, falsely alleging that they had relied on invalid electors.

Once those states, and the tens of millions of votes from them, were discarded, Pence could declare Trump the winner, Eastman reportedly said.

Noting the all but certain objections from Democrats, Eastman then recorded how the House of Representatives would decide the election. Though Democrats had a House majority, each state delegation would get one vote, which Eastman said would result in a Trump win given Republicans’ 26-24 edge.

“The main thing here is that Pence should do this without asking for permission – either from a vote of the joint session or from the Court,” Eastman wrote in the memo. “The fact is that the Constitution assigns this power to the Vice President as the ultimate arbiter.” (Read more from “Memo Reportedly Outlines Trump Lawyer’s Six-Step Plan To Overturn Biden’s Victory” HERE)

Trump: U.S. Becoming A ‘Cesspool Of Humanity’; Donald Jr. Goes Off On Dems For Border Crisis

By New York Post. Former President Donald Trump said the country is becoming a “cesspool of humanity” as the Biden administration scrambles to handle the more than 14,000 mainly Haitian migrants living in a makeshift camp under a bridge in Texas.

“The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our Country are pouring in by the millions. They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want,” Trump said in an emailed statement on Sunday.

“Our Country is rapidly becoming a cesspool of humanity. Murderers, drug dealers, and criminals of all shapes and sizes are a big part of this massive migration,” the former president said.

More than 14,000 Haitians have been camping out in squalid conditions under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas, since last week waiting to be arrested, leading the Biden administration to close an entry point, reroute traffic, deploy more Border Patrol agents and arrange flights, which could begin as soon as Sunday, to return them to the Caribbean nation.

“Tens of thousands of people are coming from Haiti, and many now from countries in Africa, even more so now than South America. Nothing is done and the corrupt Mainstream Media is giving almost no attention to what will be perhaps the greatest Crisis in the history of our Country,” said Trump, noting that it’s not only a crisis at the border, it’s a “Crisis Crisis.” (Read more from “Trump: U.S. Becoming A ‘Cesspool Of Humanity’ Amid Border Crisis” HERE)

Donald Trump Jr. Blames Democrats for ‘Out of Control’ Texas Border Crisis

By Newsweek. Donald Trump Jr. has blamed Democrats for the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border and pointed to the large numbers of migrants currently encamped underneath a bridge in Texas.

Former President Donald Trump’s eldest son took to Twitter on Friday to share a campaign from the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and criticize Democrats’ handling of the situation.

At least 12,000 migrants are now in a makeshift camp under the Del Rio International Bridge in the small town of Del Rio, Texas having crossed the Rio Grande from Mexico.

Trump Jr. tweeted: “THOUSANDS of illegal aliens are camped out under a Texas bridge, rushing to America because they know the Democrats want to give them amnesty.” (Read more from “Donald Trump Jr. Blames Democrats for ‘Out of Control’ Texas Border Crisis” HERE)

Trump Hits Back at GOP Critic Who Called Him ‘a Cancer’

Former President Trump slammed Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-Ohio) on Friday after Gonzalez announced that he would not seek reelection next year.

Gonzalez was one of Trump’s staunchest GOP critics in the House and called the ex-president a “cancer” on the country as he announced he was leaving Congress. He had also voted to impeach Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.

Trump typically goes after GOP critics, in part to send the message that others should not speak out against him. The former president has sought to keep a tight grip on his party amid speculation that he could run for the White House again in 2024.

“RINO Congressman Anthony Gonzalez, who has poorly represented his district in the Great State of Ohio, has decided to quit after enduring a tremendous loss of popularity, of which he had little, since his ill-informed and otherwise very stupid impeachment vote against the sitting President of the United States, me,” Trump said, using an acronym for “Republican in name only.”

Gonzalez was one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. On Thursday night, he announced that he would forgo a reelection bid, choosing to bow out of contention rather than face a Trump-backed primary challenge next year. Donald Trump: Sept. 18 Rally Is a ‘Setup’; Only Handful Show, More Cops and National Guard Than Protesters

By The Federalist. In an exclusive interview with The Federalist on Thursday, former President Donald Trump called for Senate Republicans to fire Mitch McConnell and elect a new leader, unloaded on “radicalized” left-wing Democrats, blasted former President George W. Bush as “one of the worst presidents ever,” and criticized current President Joe Biden’s “grossly incompetent” handling of America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. Trump also called the planned Sept. 18 rally at the U.S. Capitol a “setup” and said media would use it as an excuse to bash Republicans regardless of its outcome. . .

Trump also did not mince words when asked whether Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who has been the leader of Senate Republicans since 2007, should remain in that position going forward.

“I think Mitch McConnell has proven to be a disaster,” Trump said. “He’s not good for the Republican Party as a leader, and I wish I wouldn’t have endorsed him.” . . .

Trump also characterized the planned Sept. 18 rally at the U.S. Capitol as a “setup” meant to denigrate Republican voters regardless of what transpires.

“On Saturday, that’s a setup,” Trump said, referring to the rally. “If people don’t show up they’ll say, ‘Oh, it’s a lack of spirit.’ And if people do show up they’ll be harassed.” (Read more from “Donald Trump: Sept. 18 Rally Is a ‘Setup'” HERE)

Capitol Police Request National Guard Troops for September 18 Rally

By National Review. Capitol Police have requested a military presence in Washington, D.C., ahead of Saturday’s “Justice for J6” rally in support of people who were charged with crimes related to the Capitol riot.

The department told Reuters it had asked the Department of Defense “for the ability to receive National Guard support should the need arise on September 18.”

Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told reporters on Wednesday that the department has “received a request from the Capitol Police for some assistance for this weekend’s scheduled protest.”

He said Pentagon officials are considering the request, and “if it can be validated and supported, we’ll do that.” (Read more from “Capitol Police Request National Guard Troops for September 18 Rally” HERE)

More Cops and National Guard than Protesters

By Meredith Deliso. The “Justice for J6” rally was billed as a protest for defendants being detained in connection with the January insurrection at the Capitol.

At least 610 individuals have been federally charged for their involvement in the Jan. 6 riot at the United States Capitol, according to the Department of Justice. Most of the roughly 60 who remain behind bars are suspects prosecutors and judges have identified as posing a credible and ongoing threat to the public’s safety.

Many of the same far-right groups and individuals who promoted the original Jan. 6 rally-turned insurrection this time warned supporters to avoid the demonstration at all costs. Former President Donald Trump called it a “setup” but also released a statement supporting those charged.

With the House and Senate both out, no lawmakers were at the Capitol on Saturday. But preventative security measures were taken, including the reinstallation of temporary fencing around the Capitol complex. (read more about National Guard and police outnumbering protesters HERE)
