Trump Appeals Suspension to Rejoin Facebook, Instagram

Former President Donald Trump has submitted a statement of appeal to an oversight board funded by Facebook in a bid to rejoin the platform. The decision is expected to take around two and a half months.

Former Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt, who is a co-chair of the oversight board, told UK’s Channel 4 News that they are currently looking into the appeal concerning Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. The board was set up to be an independent group to hear users’ appeals and is comprised of 19 former politicians, journalists, and academics.

“It’s a very high profile case but that is exactly why the Oversight Board was created in the first place,” Thorning-Schmidt said.

In a statement to The Epoch Times, the board confirmed that “a user statement has been received in the case before the Oversight Board concerning President Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.” (Read more from “Trump Appeals Suspension to Rejoin Facebook, Instagram” HERE)

Report: Biden Officials ‘Colluded’ With Iran Behind Trump’s Back During His Presidency

Members of the Biden administration, including former Secretary of State John Kerry and current special envoy on Iran policy Robert Malley, held backchannel meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif during Trump’s presidency in attempt to undermine the Republican president, according to a new report from the Washington Times.

The meetings were reportedly part of a counter-diplomacy effort by the former Obama-era officials — who now serve in the Biden administration — which “allowed for the Iranian regime to bypass Trump and work directly with Obama administration veterans that Tehran hoped would soon return to power in Washington,” according to several unnamed national security and intelligence sources.

One former senior U.S. official told the Times that the “underlying goal” of the meetings was “to devise a political strategy to undermine the Trump administration” and set the stage for a more accommodating U.S. stance towards Iran in anticipation of Obama-era officials returning to power.

The meetings reportedly occurred between 2017 and 2019. One of the meetings, between Zarif and Malley, took place after former President Trump withdrew from the Iran deal, which was signed during Obama’s presidency. Tables Turned: Team Biden Insists It’s ‘NOT Kids in Cages’

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democratic leaders pounded President Trump during the 2020 election campaign for “putting kids in cages” at the border.

So Fox News’ Steve Doocy asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki why the new Biden administration reopened a detention center for migrant children on Monday.

“This is not kids being kept in cages,” she insisted. “This is a facility that was opened that is going to follow the same standards as other HHS facilities.”

More than 200 children have been sent to the facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, CBS News reported. The administration plans to expand that number to 700 in facilities across the country. (Read more from “Tables Turned: Team Biden Insists It’s ‘NOT Kids in Cages'” HERE)

Trump-Friendly CPAC 2021 Speaker Lineup Shows Little Sign of GOP Civil War; Mike Pence Declines Invite to CPAC Event

By Newsweek. The 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference, which kicks off Thursday, appears to remain aligned behind Donald Trump, even as leading Republicans have condemned and clashed publicly with the former president.

The roster of speakers for CPAC 2021 features Trump—who will deliver his first big speech since leaving the White House—and a slate of other politicians and pundits who are supportive of him. Although analysts have described tensions within the Republican Party as a “civil war,” Trump’s GOP critics won’t be given a platform to share their perspective during the event, which takes place in Orlando, Florida, from February 25 to 28.

Mike Pompeo, who served as Trump’s secretary of state; Ben Carson, who served as secretary of housing and urban development; and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the former White House press secretary now vying to become the next Arkansas governor, are set to speak at the event along with a number of other former Trump administration officials. Additionally, pro-Trump politicians including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs are set to address the attendees. The former president’s son—Donald Trump Jr.—will speak as well. Notably, former Vice President Mike Pence, who’s been a hit at CPAC the past three years, reportedly declined an invitation to speak.

Last year, Senator Mitt Romney, a Utah Republican, was told publicly not to attend the event—despite previously winning CPAC’s presidential straw poll on four occasions. But Romney became a persona non grata after his criticism of Trump during his first Senate impeachment trial in 2020, in which the Utah Republican voted with Democrats to convict the former president. Rejecting Romney again this year, CPAC has instead fully embraced Trump—as have most conservative voters. Mike Pence Declines Invite to CPAC Event Where Donald Trump Will Speak

By Newsweek. Former vice president Mike Pence reportedly declined an invitation to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where former president Donald Trump will be making his first major public appearance since leaving the White House.

The conference will be held in Orlando, Florida from February 25 to February 28. Trump will make a speech in the afternoon on the final day of the conference, according to a schedule posted on CPAC’s website.

Several former Trump administration officials will also speak at the event, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Other staunch allies of the former president who will be guest speakers include Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem. Report: Trump to Claim Total Control of Republican Party; Nearly Half of Republicans Would Drop GOP if Trump Created New Party

By WND. Former President Donald Trump is expected to tell attendees at this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference that he’s still in charge, according to reports.

“Let’s just say that singing Kumbaya isn’t in the plans,” commented the RedState blog.

It will be Trump’s most significant public statement since he left Washington last month. Shut down by Twitter and Facebook, he was largely silent until interviews last week regarding the death of Rush Limbaugh.

Axios cited sources saying Trump “plans to send the message next weekend that he is Republicans’ ‘presumptive 2024 nominee’ with a vise grip on the party’s base.”

A longtime adviser told Axios that Trump’s speech will be a “show of force,” sending the message: “I may not have Twitter or the Oval Office, but I’m still in charge.” (Read more from “Report: Trump to Claim Total Control of Republican Party” HERE)

Nearly Half of Republicans Would Drop GOP if Trump Created New Party

By The Epoch Times. Around half of Republican voters would abandon the GOP if former President Donald Trump created a new party, according to a new poll.

About 46 percent of Republican respondents said they would abandon the Republican Party to join a Trump-backed party, a Suffolk University–USA Today poll found. Only 27 percent said they would stay with the party, while the rest were undecided.

“We feel like Republicans don’t fight enough for us, and we all see Donald Trump fighting for us as hard as he can, every single day,” a Republican and small-business owner—who wasn’t identified—from Milwaukee told USA Today. “But then, you have establishment Republicans who just agree with establishment Democrats and everything, and they don’t ever push back.” . . .

“If Trump were to split from the GOP and create his own party, polling suggests he might well create the second largest political party in the country, knocking the GOP down to third place,” Dritan Nesho, CEO and chief pollster at HarrisX, told Hill.TV. Supreme Court Allows Release of Trump Tax Records

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Feb. 22 that it won’t stop a New York prosecutor from obtaining former President Donald Trump’s tax returns and other financial records as part of a criminal investigation.

The justices rebuffed Trump’s request to put an Oct. 7, 2020, lower court ruling on hold that directs the former commander-in-chief’s accounting company, Mazars USA, to comply with a subpoena to turn over the tax returns and documents to a grand jury convened by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, a Democrat.

The New York grand jury will be able to obtain the records and look at them in secret, meaning that the records will not become public any time soon, although the possibility of leaks to legacy news media can’t be ruled out.

The court issued a single-sentence ruling (pdf): “The application for a stay presented to Justice Breyer and referred to the Court is denied.” The justices didn’t provide an explanation.

In July 2020, the high court ruled that the president and any other citizen isn’t “categorically above the common duty to produce evidence when called upon in a criminal proceeding.” They suggested Trump could challenge Vance’s subpoena on other grounds. The Problem With the American Populist Movement Is That It Was Centralized

Centralized movements give the enemy a central attack vector to target and overcome. One man, who took on the weight of the world, became the sole focus of both the enemy and of the American Populist movement itself for over five years.

The oligarchs removed that one man from the entire internet, then they removed him from office. Everyone knows this, we all watched it happen. What no one has clearly defined is where American Populism goes from here.

The oligarchs believe that they have destroyed American Populism by rigging an election, removing the movement’s leader from public view, and by forcing everyone to stay locked inside for a year while the country burns down around us all.

They think they have won and want to define “New Normal” under their rule as they consolidate power. What they don’t realize is that they have recruited tens of millions of Americans to the side of reason, light, and Truth. Many millions of these people didn’t even vote for Donald Trump, but they recognize what is happening to our country and want to stop it.

Over the course of the past year I’ve seen comments across the internet become increasingly “red pilled” and aware of the Big Lies being pushed by the corporate media and frauds in government. It turns out that keeping people locked inside on the internet for an entire year ends up illuminating a lot of minds.

The People are learning what the real problem is: the globalist oligarchs. Not any one politician. Not this political party or that one. The entire system is corrupt. Banks, tech companies, media companies, schools, government, and on and on.

We must exit this broken and failing system and start building a new one immediately. We are not revolutionaries. We are not violent. We are reformers. We are builders. When we up and leave the existing system in favor of our own the existing system will crumble without us lifting a finger.

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”― Buckminster Fuller

The way around centralized problems in the movement is to decentralize American Populism at the local level. In order to take our country back and move forward with the American Populist movement we must first take our local communities back. Here are several examples of this happening across the country:

Big Tech’s Unlikely Next Battleground: North Dakota

Montana Bill Would Designate Antifa as Domestic Terrorism

Florida restaurant goes viral for ‘face diapers not required’ mask policy

We must build our own economy. Here’s how.

Pull your positions out of their useless stock market and buy bitcoin, gold, silver, food stores, and ammo. Bitcoin is free speech money. Learn what it is and how to use it. Now.

National elections are a big distraction. Members of Congress are bought and sold like cattle by the oligarchs, foreign nations, and whoever has the money. Instead center your focus on getting American Populists and Christian men and women elected mayor, to state legislatures, as judges, on school boards, etc.

Cut the cable cord. That includes both Fox and CNN. Do not watch it. Do something else with your time and money. Support alternative media outlets and individuals. Get that garbage marxist indoctrination content machine our of your home and away from your family.

Exit the Big Tech mind prison. Join Gab.

If your church has gone “woke,” leave. We have room for only one Gospel in Christian churches and that’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not the imitation false gospel of “social justice.”

Leave Big Banks for local community banks.

Start supporting small local shops.

Create pro-family, pro-business, and pro-law and order policies for your local area. We can’t control DC, but we can control what happens in our backyards.

Pull your kids out of public schools where their minds are being molded at the altar of marxism. Do everything and anything you can to homeschool or attend Christian private schools or online schooling programs.

Pay attention to the brands you buy and support. Check out their websites and marketing. If they are “woke,” stop giving them your money. Period.

We must also work to unite American Populists on the left and the right. What unites the left and right wing populists, and Americans in general, is Jesus Christ.

The trasnhumanist nihilists and their technocracy are offering nothing of spiritual value. The Gospel Message of Jesus Christ, and that of American Populism, is one of redemption, hope, love, dominion, sovereignty, freedom and forgiveness. None of these things are possible with critical theory or woke consumer crony capitalism paired with a corporate techno tyranny.

What are you waiting for?

Let’s get to work, we have a new economy to build.

Trump Sparks a GOP Civil War With SCATHING McConnell Rebuke; These 3 Republicans Have Broken With Mitch McConnell to Stand With Trump

By PJ Media. On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump released a scathing denunciation of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), launching a civil war in the Republican Party. In a speech after the Senate voted to acquit Trump on charges of impeachment related to the Capitol riot on January 6, McConnell had echoed Democratic talking points, explaining that he only voted to acquit Trump because he thought it unconstitutional to convict a former president who had already left office.

“Mitch is a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack, and if Republican Senators are going to stay with him, they will not win again. He will never do what needs to be done, or what is right for our Country,” Trump declared. “Where necessary and appropriate, I will back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again and our policy of America First.”

On Sunday, McConnell had condemned Trump for “false statements, conspiracy theories, and reckless hyperbole” after the 2020 election. He also condemned “the increasingly wild myths — myths — about a reversed landslide election.” McConnell acknowledged that Democrats have engaged in reckless remarks that may have incited violence, but he insisted that Trump’s rhetoric was worse. . .

“The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell at its helm,” Trump declared. “McConnell’s dedication to business as usual, status quo policies, together with his lack of political insight, wisdom, skill, and personality, has rapidly driven him from Majority Leader to Minority Leader, and it will only get worse. The Democrats and Chuck Schumer play McConnell like a fiddle—they’ve never had it so good—and they want to keep it that way!” (Read more from “Trump Sparks a GOP Civil War With SCATHING McConnell Rebuke” HERE)

These 3 Republicans Have Broken With Mitch McConnell to Stand With Trump

By Newsweek. Three Republican congress members have criticized Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for his February 13 speech blaming Donald Trump for inciting the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol. . .

On Monday, Florida Representative Matt Gaetz criticized McConnell in a Fox News interview, calling him part of the “new incarnations in the Republican party from those trying to purge Trumpism from our movement.” . . .

On Monday, Republican Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson also criticized McConnell’s remarks. . .

In a Sunday interview with Fox News, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said that McConnell’s speech “is an outlier regarding how Republicans feel about all this.” While McConnell “got a load off his chest,” Graham said, he “unfortunately he put a load on the back of Republicans.” (Read more from “These 3 Republicans Have Broken With Mitch McConnell to Stand With Trump” HERE)

Trump Says GOP Won’t Win With McConnell, Plans to Back MAGA Primary Candidates

By The Epoch Times. Former President Donald Trump, in a strongly-worded statement, criticized Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) leadership and said the Republican Party won’t be successful in the future with McConnell at the helm.

The former president’s statement, which was released through his Save America PAC on Feb. 15, blamed McConnell for the GOP’s 2020 loss of the Senate majority. He asserted that McConnell’s move not to support calls from Democrats and Trump for $2,000 stimulus payments was weaponized by Democrats, who promised the checks to voters if they won the Jan. 5 runoff elections in Georgia.

“He will never do what needs to be done, or what is right for our Country. Where necessary and appropriate, I will back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again and our policy of America First. We want brilliant, strong, thoughtful, and compassionate leadership,” Trump said.

“Then came the Georgia disaster, where we should have won both U.S. Senate seats, but McConnell matched the Democrat offer of $2,000 stimulus checks with $600. How does that work?” the former president added. “It became the Democrats’ principal advertisement, and a big winner for them it was.” (Read more from “Trump Says GOP Won’t Win With McConnell, Plans to Back MAGA Primary Candidates” HERE)

Trump Impeachment Lawyer Describes in-Fighting During Trial

Former President Donald Trump’s legal team got him acquitted of the charges he faced in the Senate, but days after, one of them is providing insight into the team’s dysfunction.

David Schoen, one of Trump’s lead attorneys for the case, criticized his former co-counselor in an interview with Jewish Insider published on Monday, arguing that former acting Pennsylvania Attorney General Bruce Castor assumed outsize influence even though he was supposed to play a supporting role.

“[Trump’s team] asked me if I would work with [Castor], if I would take the lead and so on, but then, [Castor] would help me, and he has a firm that can help and all that,” he said. “I’m not sure that message was communicated to him clearly enough because he never seemed to quite understand that I was supposed to be the lead in the case.”

Castor’s blueprint called for Schoen to focus on the Senate’s jurisdiction in the matter, which would leave him largely sidelined after the first day of the trial. Stepping into the lead role himself, Castor “jumped in” to present the defense’s case on the first day of trial. The presentation was disparaged by Schoen, who said Castor’s argument was “like a filibuster” and “not a good presentation.”

Trump, who reportedly asked Schoen to join the team first in a lead role, was also unimpressed by Castor’s performance and called on Schoen to play a more active role in his defense. (Read more from “Trump Impeachment Lawyer Describes in-Fighting During Trial” HERE)

Trump’s Brand-New Path to White House?; WATCH: Donald Trump Surprises Supporters at Presidents’ Day Rally

By WND. Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon sees a brand-new path for his former boss Donald Trump to return to the White House in 2024 – after a two-year stint as speaker of the House.

“Trump is a disrupter, but he has a long-term vision because I absolutely believe in the marrow of my bones that he will be our nominee in 2024,” Bannon told a group of Boston Republicans at a Lincoln Day Breakfast on Saturday.

“He’ll come back to us. We’ll have a sweeping victory in 2022, and he’ll lead us in 2024,” he said, according to the Boston Herald.

Bannon suggested Trump could run for Congress in 2022 and then seek the speaker post, as Republicans are expected to regain the majority.

“We totally get rid of Nancy Pelosi, and the first act of President Trump as speaker will be to impeach Joe Biden for his illegitimate activities of stealing the presidency,” Bannon told the West Roxbury Ward 20 Republican Committee. (Read more from “Trump’s Brand-New Path to White House?” HERE)
