Threat? Rep Warns Potential Trump Donors They’d Better ‘Think Twice’ Before Supporting the President

Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) doubled down Wednesday on his decision to doxx 44 San Antonio area Trump donors on Twitter, saying it was simply a “lament” that will hopefully lead Trump supporters (and others around the country) to “think twice” about donating to the president’s reelection campaign. . .

In his tweet Monday night, Castro wrote: “Sad to see so many San Antonians as 2019 maximum donors to Donald Trump — the owner of @BillMillerBarBQ, owner of the Historic Pearl, realtor Phyllis Browning, etc. Their contributions are fueling a campaign of hate that labels Hispanic immigrants as ‘invaders.’”

Although Castro claimed on MSNBC’s Morning Joe that his tweet was merely a “lament” to address his disappointment that these San Antonians were funding a campaign of hate, most on the right believe its real purpose was to disseminate an enemies list for leftists inside and outside of government to harass and bully the president’s donors.

At this point, Castro, while using eliminationist rhetoric meant to demonize President Trump and his supporters, gave the game away.

“And I hope that these donors in San Antonio and donors throughout the country, unless you support the white nationalism and racism Donald Trump is paying for and fueling, then I hope you as a person of good conscience will think twice about contributing to his campaign,” he explained. Trump Sounds off on Dayton Mayor for ‘Misrepresenting’ Their Meeting

President Trump visited the community of Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday to pay his respects in the aftermath of Sunday’s tragic shooting, in which nine people were murdered. He visited with patients at the Miami Valley Hospital and met with lawmakers like Sen. Sherrod Brown and Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley. Although both leaders had hesitated about welcoming him, they agreed it was best they meet with him – whether for the sake of unity, or an opportunity to confront him about some next step action items.

Almost as soon as Trump was out of their sight, however, the Democrats gave a press conference about what took place inside the hospital. Whaley and Brown noted that Trump had been “received well” by patients and staff, but they also said that they urged the president to act on gun control. Brown specifically said he tried to convince Trump to get Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to reconvene Congress so they can vote on some gun control measures. He also supposedly asked Trump not to touch Obamacare or to cut Medicaid, because the program is necessary when tackling mental health issues. Brown then proceeded to attack Republicans as “doing the bidding of the NRA.”

The president was appalled that the pair had “misrepresented” what had taken place in Dayton.

But White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham was similarly offended by the Democrats’ narrative, particularly what they had not said – that the shooting victims and hospital staff were “happy” to see the president.

WATCH: Trump Gave a Very Good Answer When Asked Who’s to Blame for Dayton Shooting

Before President Trump boarded his plane to Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas on Wednesday to meet with communities in mourning, he spoke with reporters on the White House lawn. The press particularly wanted to know what he thought of his accusers tying his rhetoric to the shooting in El Paso. The suspect used language similar to that of Trump’s immigration remarks in his online manifesto, according to some.

“My critics are political people,” Trump said. “They’re trying to make points. In many cases, they are running for president and they’re very low in the polls.”

He couldn’t be more right if he’s talking about presidential candidates Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan and former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, both of whom are struggling to gain even single digit support. As representatives of last weekend’s targeted states, they’ve been two of the most vocal critics of Trump since the shootings. O’Rourke has been especially condemnatory, saying on Monday that Trump has been “reveling in the hatred and the racism” in the country. He’s thrown in a few expletives too. The president told him to “be quiet,” but other than that he hasn’t said much of the critique. . .

In fact, when discussing the shooting in Dayton, which was orchestrated by a young man who claimed to be a “leftist,” Trump said he didn’t blame Democrats for the bloodshed. He blamed “sick people.”

Trump Supporters Clean up West Baltimore and the Liberal Media Are Irritated (VIDEO)

On Monday, a group of Trump supporters led by conservative activist Scott Presler went to West Baltimore for a massive clean-up operation following tweets sent by President Donald Trump highlighting the dire conditions in the area.

While the residents were thankful for the overhaul — well over 100 volunteers came together to remove 12 tons of trash, according to Presler — the liberal media were, uh, irritated. The media attacked the activist as an “extremist,” questioned his motives, and scolded him for “reinforc[ing] the tired image that the poor people in this city can’t take care of their own neighborhoods.”

Trump’s Ambassador to Russia Is Resigning and Reportedly Looking at a Gubernatorial Run

President Donald Trump’s top representative to the Kremlin is stepping down this fall, according to a resignation letter sent to the president Tuesday morning.

As reported by the Salt Lake Tribune, Jon Huntsman sent a letter to the president on Tuesday in which he says that he plans to leave the job effective Oct. 3 and return home to the United States.

“American citizenship is a privilege and I believe the most basic responsibility in return is service to country,” Huntsman’s letter begins. “To that end, I am honored by the trust you have placed in me as the United States ambassador to Russia during this historically difficult period in bilateral relations.”

Voicing appreciation for the team he’s worked with, the ambassador adds that the Mission Russia team “is first-rate and every American would be proud of their work. Their efforts away from loved ones, in one of the world’s most forbidding environments, are nothing short of inspiring. They deserve our endless gratitude.”

“Yet,” he later explains to the president, “as I have shared with you and Secretary [Mike] Pompeo, our desire is to return to the United States after two years to reconnect with our growing family and responsibilities at home.”

He also says that he hopes that giving the White House also two months’ notice on his departure “will allow sufficient time for a successor to be nominated and confirmed.”

Huntsman is a former Utah governor who served as ambassador to China under the Obama administration. Before that, Huntsman served as deputy U.S. trade representative under George W. Bush and was the ambassador to Singapore under George H.W. Bush. Huntsman was confirmed to his current role in September 2017 by a unanimous vote of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee followed by a voice vote on the Senate floor.

The Salt Lake Tribune now says that Huntsman may make a move to return the Utah governor’s mansion “according to those close to him.”

Meanwhile, the Beehive State’s next race for governor in 2020 has already been shaping up. Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox has already announced a campaign and businessman Jeff Burningham is “exploring a run” according to a website run by “Jeff Burningham for Governor.” Retiring Republican Rep. America Is Drowning in the Left’s Lies About Trump

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, never said there were “fine” Nazis or Ku Klux Klansmen.

This is one of the two great lies of our time — the other being that all Trump supporters are racists — and perhaps in all of American history. I cannot think of a lie of such significance that was held as truth by so many Americans, by every leading politician of one of the two major political parties and disseminated by virtually the entire media.

The major news media need to understand these are important reasons that half of America considers them frauds. And we get no pleasure from this fact. The reason we don’t recoil when the president labels the mainstream media “fake news” is that we know the charge is true. Has one major media news outlet yet apologized to the American people for preoccupying them for nearly two years with the lie of “Trump collusion” with Russia? Has one Democrat? Of course not. Because with regard to the Trump-Russia collusion issue, the news media were never driven by a pursuit of truth; they were driven by a pursuit of Trump. . .

The president never said there were fine Nazis. The left-wing assertion that the president of the United States said there were fine Nazis will long endure as an example of something that has been true since Lenin: Truth is not a left-wing value. Truth is a liberal value, and it is a conservative value. But it is not left-wing value. A leftist says whatever is necessary to gain power.

By remarkable coincidence, this week’s PragerU video is titled “The Charlottesville Lie.” It proves the president never said Nazis were fine people. When Trump said there were “very fine people on both sides,” he was referring to people demonstrating in Charlottesville for and against tearing down a statue of Confederate general Robert E. President Trump Hits Venezuelan Dictator Maduro with Total Economic Embargo

President Donald Trump announced an executive order to slap the government of Venezuela with brutal new sanctions that are reserved for only the worst regimes.

The order will freeze all assets of the socialist government in Venezuela and bars all transactions. . .

“I have determined that it is necessary to block the property of the Government of Venezuela in light of the continued usurpation of power by the illegitimate Nicolas Maduro regime,” [President Trump] said in the letter.

The letter listed the actions of the Venezuelan government that led to the sanctions, including, “the regime’s human rights abuses, arbitrary arrest and detention of Venezuelan citizens, curtailment of free press, and ongoing attempts to undermine Interim President Juan Guaido of Venezuela and the democratically-elected Venezuelan National Assembly.”

The U.S. and its allies hoped that Maduro would have stepped down after they threw their support behind Guaido, the opposition leader, but the dictator stubbornly held on to power with help from the Cuban government. GOP Lawmaker Accuses Republicans of ‘Enabling White Supremacy’ by Refusing to Condemn Trump

A Republican state lawmaker from Nebraska is gaining attention for calling out the GOP for “enabling white supremacy in our country” after a mass murderer with racist motivations killed 20 people and injured several others in El Paso, Texas.

State Sen. John McCollister of Omaha accused President Trump of stoking “racist fears in his base,” in a Twitter thread demanding Republicans speak out against white nationalism and condemn President Trump.

In an interview with the Omaha World-Herald, McCollister elaborated on his Twitter thread, attacking Nebraska’s GOP congressional delegation for neglecting to voice a full condemnation of the president.

“I’d like to see some moral outrage from some of our Republican officeholders,” McCollister said. “The silence is deafening.”

This is asinine. What “racist and immoral activity” is “enabling white supremacy” in the Republican Party? Refusing to join the Left in screaming “Trump is racist!” every time the president says something rude? The remarks McCollister cites about “sh*tholes” or the “go back” comments do not show that President Trump believes white people are racially superior to people with darker skin. They’re impolite, they’re not traditionally presidential, but they’re not “enabling white supremacy.”

Which Trump comments qualify as stoking “racist fears” in his base? Ask the Left, and they’ll say anyone who uses the phrase “illegal immigrant” should be condemned. Is President Trump stoking fear by frequently making statements about the illegal immigration issue or the border crisis? Should Republicans stop talking about these issues because they enable “white supremacy,” since white supremacists don’t like migrants from south of the border?

What does “enabling white supremacy” even mean? Would white supremacy cease to exist if Trump never said or tweeted anything controversial? How exactly would condemning Trump disable white supremacy? Say Republicans did condemn the president; say they even impeached him. If Trump were removed from office or if he loses the 2020 election, would racists in America stop being racists? Obviously not.

And what evidence of “white supremacy” is there in the GOP anyway? McCollister only mentions Trump. Is he implying that the El Paso murderer is somehow related to the Republican Party or inspired by his rhetoric? There’s no evidence that the murderer was a Republican or a Democrat. In his manifesto, the murderer attacked Democrats and Republicans. He ranted about environmental degradation caused by climate change in addition to illegal immigration. You might just as soon call him an eco-terrorist as a white supremacist terrorist, if you wanted to play stupid word games with acts of evil to score political points.

If McCollister knows about white supremacists in the Republican Party, he should out them and show what they’ve done to advance that racist ideology. If he’s going to accuse Republicans of being “complicit” with racism, he needs to do more than complain that the GOP won’t join in with Democrats and the media in hating the president.

President Trump, speaking for himself, condemned racism and white supremacy Monday in a speech on the weekend’s mass shootings. “Our nation is overcome with shock, horror and sorrow,” Trump said. “We are outraged and sickened by this monstrous evil.”

“In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy,” Trump said. “These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hatred has no place in America.”

Dozens of people are dead or injured after two acts of heinous evil committed by mass murderers over the weekend. Making Donald Trump the problem today, and attacking other Republicans for refusing to join in, is deplorable. White House Pushes Back: Shootings Not Trump’s Fault

Mulvaney said, “I blame the people who pulled the triggers. Is someone really blaming the president? These people are sick. And until we address why people think this way. This young man —let’s be clear, we know nothing about the shooter in Dayton, we’re just talking about the shooter in El Paso. This was a sick person. Democrats Aim Their Outrage at Trump After Two Mass Shootings

By Reuters. Two mass shootings that killed 29 people in Texas and Ohio reverberated across the U.S. political arena on Sunday, with some Democratic presidential candidates accusing President Donald Trump of stoking racial divisions while he said “hate has no place in our country.”

Dozens were also wounded Saturday and early Sunday in shootings within just 13 hours of each other in carnage that shocked a country that has become grimly accustomed to mass shootings and heightened concerns about domestic terrorism.

The first massacre occurred on Saturday morning in the heavily Hispanic border city of El Paso, where a gunman killed 20 people at a Walmart store before surrendering. Authorities in Texas said the rampage appeared to be a racially motivated hate crime and federal prosecutors are treating it as a case of domestic terrorism.

Across the country, a gunman opened fire in a downtown district of Dayton, Ohio, early on Sunday, killing nine people, including his sister, and wounding at least 27 others. The assailant, identified as Connor Betts, a 24-year-old white man, was taken down by police within 30 seconds but authorities still did not know his motive for the attack, the city’s police chief said.

The El Paso shooting sent shock waves onto the campaign trail for next year’s presidential election, with most Democratic candidates repeating calls for tighter gun control measures and some drawing connections to a resurgence in white nationalism and xenophobic politics in the United States. By Fox News. President Donald Trump on Sunday addressed the mass shootings that took place in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio this weekend.

He took the opportunity to thank law enforcement for their efforts and preparation for such a tragic event.

“My condolences to the people of El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. They’re incredible people and they’ve been through a lot,” Trump said next to the First Lady outside at Morristown Airport in New Jersey.

“I just want to thank the law enforcement, in both places, the job they’ve done is incredible. I also want to congratulate them. No one could have done what they’ve done,” Trump said. “This could have been, as bad as it was, much worse. I just want to thank them. The job they’ve done is incredible. In El Paso, they were there so quickly. And in Dayton, less than a minute.”

“Think of the damage he did in such a short period of time, in less than a minute, and law enforcement acted and killed him and it would have been it would have been unbelievable. Ohio Gunman Had Bulletproof Vest, Was Stopped Within 30 Seconds of Opening Fire Outside Bar, Police Say

The gunman in the deadly rampage in Dayton, Ohio, was wearing a mask, bulletproof vest, earplugs and was carrying a rifle capable of holding at least 100 rounds when he opened fire outside a bar, killed nine – including his sister – and injured more than two dozen, one in critical condition, police said Sunday.

Dayton police Chief Richard Biehl told reporters in a news conference on Sunday afternoon that the gunman, identified as 24-year-old Connor Betts, showed up to the city’s Oregon District around Fifth Street with his sister and a friend on Saturday night. He added the three separated at some point between when they arrived and when Betts opened fire, saying it is unknown what happened during that time.

Biehl said police officers in the area engaged him seconds after the first gunshots were heard and the gunman was “neutralized” within 30 seconds after the first of “dozens of rounds.” Betts was shot and killed by police before he entered Ned Peppers Bar. He was using a .223-caliber rifle.

“At 1:05 a.m. officers were patrolling the Oregon District during bar closing time and heard gunfire. They observed a large crowd running away from this gunfire,” Biehl told reporters.

“The officer’s immediately advance toward the gunfire and within approximately 20 seconds, they engaged the suspect who was actively firing and attempting to enter a crowded liquor establishment.
