Eat It, Liberals: Trump Economy Just Received Stellar News

If Donald Trump wins the election, the stock market will collapse. He doesn’t have an agenda that can create jobs. You all heard the doomsday talk. In the end, three million jobs have been created since Trump was elected. The Dow Jones broke 26,000, and had a 5,000-point surge last year—the largest annual gain ever. All told, the stock market has grown around 40 percent since Trump’s upset win over Hillary Clinton.

The tax reform package passed in 2017 has laid down a solid foundation for economic growth. Wages are growing. Consumer and small business confidence has reached its highest levels in 10+ years. Unemployment has reached an 18-year low, black unemployment has reached a historic low. The good economic news is pervasive and starting to make Democrats nervous, who thought the tax cuts would be an albatross around the GOP’s neck—wrong. Now, for the second quarter, the economic growth is project to hit four percent. (Read more from “Eat It, Liberals: Trump Economy Just Received Stellar News” HERE)

Here’s How One Restaurant Manager (And Its Corporation) Treated a Man in a MAGA Hat

Last month, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was denied service at a Virginia restaurant because of her political ideology. This week, a Trump supporter in Canada received the same treatment.

The manager of a popular tourist restaurant in Vancouver reportedly told a customer wearing a “Make American Great Again” hat that he could either remove his red cap or leave. The man chose the latter. . .

When Darin Hodge, the floor manager on duty that night, saw the customer sitting on the restaurant’s patio with his MAGA hat on, he allegedly “took over the table” and demanded the customer remove the supposedly offensive cap.

The man answered back that he “had a right to wear it,” to which Hodge said, “If you don’t take the hat off, we won’t serve you.” The man got up an left—and he’s not only one who won’t be returning to the restaurant. . .

“[Hodge] was aware what he was doing was probably contrary to our values and our philosophy as a company in terms of hospitality and inclusiveness,” added Crimp. “We don’t discriminate against people based on political beliefs.” (Read more from “Here’s How One Restaurant Manager (And Its Corporation) Treated a Man in a MAGA Hat” HERE)

A U.S. Church Created This Controversial Display as a Protest Against Trump

An Indiana church is using church imagery in order to protest against President Donald Trump and his immigration policies.

Christ Church Cathedral in Indianapolis, Indiana, posted a picture of the display meant to protest the separation and detention of migrant families by the department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement under Trump.

“So we have the holy family in a chain link enclosure, much like the detention facilities that are being prepared and currently exists for families being detained indefinitely,” explained Reverend Stephen Carlsen of Christ Church Cathedral.

“And we’re hoping to draw attention to the fact that indefinite family detention is wrong and that this holy family, that were refugees seeking asylum in Egypt,” he said, “are representative of every family in detention.” . . .

Sexton Fred Andrews said that they hope the display will influence people at the ballot box when they vote.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY: Trump Celebrates 6 Months of ‘New Jobs, Bigger Paychecks, and Keeping More of Your Hard-Earned Money’

President Donald Trump called the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act an “economic miracle” as he marked the reform package’s six-month anniversary during a White House event…

“At last, our country finally has a tax system that is pro-job, pro-worker, pro-family, and pro-American,” Trump said.

The $1.5 trillion tax reform law cut the U.S. corporate tax rate from 35 percent, the highest in the world, to 21 percent, in line with other developed nations. It also lowered the top individual rate from 39.6 percent to 37 percent, eliminated brackets, and closed loopholes.

“It’s my great honor to welcome you back to the White House to celebrate six months of new jobs, bigger paychecks, and keeping more of your hard-earned money where it belongs: in your pocket or wherever else you want to spend it,” Trump said.

uring his remarks, Trump recognized Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James and others in the audience for helping push what so far has been his signature legislative achievement through Congress in late 2017.

Trump pointed out not a single Democrat voted for the reform. He also said deregulation might have had as much to do with growing the economy $7 trillion.

“The typical family of four earning $75,000 will see an income tax cut of more than $2,000, and in some cases much more, slashing their tax bill in half,” Trump said. “We cut taxes for businesses of all sizes to make this the best place on earth to start a business, to invest. We have billions and billions of additional revenue coming in.”

Trump asserted more than 100 utility companies cut prices as a result of the tax cut, “saving Americans $3 billion on their utility bills.”

Trump again noted unemployment claims are at a more than four-decade low, and again cited historic low unemployment rates for blacks and Hispanics, a frequent theme in his speeches.

He added women are about to join that historic category.

“Unemployment for women, if you listened to my speech two weeks ago, you would have heard me say it’s the lowest in 21 years,” Trump said. “Now I’m saying it’s the lowest in 65 years and soon will be the lowest in history.”

The economy appears to be doing very well, said Adam Michel, tax policy analyst with The Heritage Foundation, noting some of the same employment numbers as the president.

“Even more impressive is that in the first quarter of 2018, investment—the bedrock of economic growth—increased by more than 21 percent among companies in the Standard & Poor’s 500 stock index, compared with the same quarter in 2017,” Michel told The Daily Signal. “The good economic news only accounts for some small part of tax reform’s benefits, there is much more to come as businesses and individuals start to realize how the new law allows them to expand, hire, and invest even more.”

Trump also framed these changes as part of his larger reform agenda.

“Commonsense is being restored in Washington once again because hardworking Americans are in charge of their government once again. Washington tried to change us,” Trump said. “That’s not going to happen. Instead, we’re changing Washington and we are changing it quickly and for the better.” (For more from the author of “Trump Celebrates 6 Months of ‘New Jobs, Bigger Paychecks, and Keeping More of Your Hard-Earned Money’” please click HERE)

Trump Trolls Media in Hilarious Tweet

President Donald Trump trolled the media on Tuesday in a hilarious tweet, mocking them for constantly looking for small grammatical mistakes.

“After having written many best selling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake,” Trump tweeted. “I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!”

Bricks Through Windows: Anti-Trump Violence Heats Up

There’s been a storm of left-wing rhetoric and violence ever since President Trump was elected. All those Democrats talking about “resistance.” The antifa riots whenever a conservative speaker opened his mouth, and the destruction of property and rights that followed. Celebrities – remember? – they promised to move to Australia, or Canada or the moon.

It got worse recently when Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., reacting to the eviction of Trump spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders from a restaurant, said: “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them! And you tell them that they are not welcome, anymore, anywhere.” . . .

In Nebraska, the Daily Caller said, vandals threw a brick through the window of the Nebraska Republican Party’s headquarters in Lincoln.

The report said, “Prominent Democrats across the country have been whipping up support for abolishing U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE), in an appeal to the party’s left-wing base.”

Kenny Zoeller, the state GOP’s executive director, said: “This destructive criminal activity is disappointing, but unsurprising, given the increasingly radical rhetoric of national Democrat leaders and candidates like Jane Raybould, Kara Eastman, and Jane Kleeb. Violence is the natural result of the left’s statements urging Democrats to literally ‘push back’ on Republicans and ‘resist’ at any cost. Voters face a stark choice between sanity and the rabid, hateful words that sparked this vandalism.” (Read more from “Bricks Through Windows: Anti-Trump Violence Heats Up” HERE)

Pastor: Keep Killing Babies Because I Hate Trump

For the latest misadventures in “absolute NeverTrumpism corrupts every bit as much as absolute AlwaysTrumpism,” I give you Pastor Thabiti Anyabwile.

The headline of his piece in the Washington Post is “Overturning Roe v. Wade isn’t worth compromising with Trump, my fellow evangelicals.” He leads it off by imploring that “we are going to give an account to God for our complicit silence before the immoral policies and actions of the Trump administration.”

Already, the pastor’s point of view is plagued by an idolatrous level of concern for Trump, to the point of insisting that his fellow evangelicals snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on the issue of life. Which just so happens to be the pre-eminent moral concern of the Word of God, but other than that, no big thang.

Anyabwile is so blinded by his anti-Trump idolatry that he’s urging the very “complicit silence” he condemns when it comes to stopping America’s infanticide holocaust. Ironic, I know, but this is the age of self-refuting arguments and the death of self-awareness, after all.

This pastor is urging believers to explicitly disobey the Word of God when it says “rescue those being taken away to death and hold back those being led away to slaughter.” This pastor is urging believers to side with those whose “hands shed innocent blood,” which the Scriptures also say are among those things “the LORD hates.” And he’s doing so from a platform that frequently gives space for trolling God and His love, like its recent headline “why can’t we hate men” and last Christmas when it again questioned whether Jesus Christ ever existed.

On second thought, maybe this is the proper platform for Anyabwile’s idolatrous polemic, because whether he knows it or not, he’s trolling God, too. It’s just that the Washington Post is more honest about it.

In case you’re wondering why I’ve used the terms “idolatry” or “idolatrous” several times already, it’s because I’m trying to drive the point home this is idolatry. Whenever we permit anything other than God to determine for us what is right or wrong, we are practicing what the Bible calls idolatry, which is a fancy, stained-glass word meaning “worshipping or following after a false god.”

Anyabwile is saying not to explicitly do what God says is right here, because Trump. In other words, he is the NeverTrump version of heretical clowns like Paula White, peddler of the fake so-called prosperity gospel and a documented fraud, who has sadly found some renewed legitimacy through her ability to shamelessly shill for Trump.

I’m sure Anyabwile would agree with me about the likes of White, all the while missing the plank in his own eye. See, God doesn’t permit us not to do what’s right because it may cause us to align with and/or work alongside those we find questionable, repulsive, or offensive. Quite the contrary, God works through sinners all the time — because all of us are sinners.

Sure, plenty of Christians twist this teaching every election season when they compare their favorite misbehaving politicians favorably to King David, all the while conveniently leaving out details like David’s peccadilloes that caused the death of his child, a civil war in his kingdom, and persistent strife in his family. So, yes, God loved and used David. But no, David’s sins did not go unpunished, and often the consequences were suffered by others, too.

Because God can walk and chew gum at the same time, he can use problematic people while simultaneously holding them accountable for their misdeeds. His people, bought by His blood and guided by His Spirit, should be able — and definitely willing — to do the same.

Abraham Lincoln is considered by many to be among America’s greatest presidents. He also was far from perfect. For much of his political career, he was in favor of letting slave states remain so, and during one of the famous Lincoln-Douglas debates he said the following:

“I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races, [applause]-that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality.”

And yet, despite these statements, we still call Lincoln the “Great Emancipator.” Why? Because he was. The same guy who said those dreadful things also lost his life in the cause of freeing the slaves.

Human nature is a complicated thing. We are all made in the image of God, and yet are all capable of falling very far from God at any given moment (or a lifetime) as well. This is why we all need the Savior. Great men sometimes fall. Bad men sometimes rise. Heroes of the faith like David and Samson had licentious blind spots. Powerful preachers like Spurgeon save souls one minute and struggle with depression the next.

The one constant here is God — the same yesterday, today, and forever. And that is why imperfect people can perform, by His grace, His perfect and pleasing will. Both the just and the unjust alike, as Christ said, are loved by God enough to each be tools of His love and mercy at any given time.

And if it is a profane man like Trump, who would be among the least likely politicians we could ever imagine to appoint the Supreme Court that ends America’s greatest moral evil, then by all means blessed be the name of the Lord. For all such blessings really flow from Him anyway, not from a politician.

A pastor, like Anyabwile, should know this. (For more from the author of “Pastor: Keep Killing Babies Because I Hate Trump” please click HERE)

Trump Doubles Down on Roe v. Wade, Hints at Major State-Wide Change to Landmark Case

President Donald Trump addressed his Supreme Court pick in light of Roe v. Wade on Sunday when he said that abortion may soon “end up with states.”

“Maybe someday it will be to the states. You never know how that’s going to turn out. That’s a very complex question,” Trump told Fox News Maria Bartiromo in a Sunday interview, according to its transcript.

“The Roe v. Wade is probably the one that people are talking about in terms of having an effect, but we’ll see what happens, but it could very well end up with states at some point,” Trump added.

Bartiromo previously asked the president whether he would ask his nominees if they would vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

The president said that even if he won’t ask the potential justices their views on overturning a woman’s right to abortion, he will put conservative justices on the bench.

David Hogg Tweets, Deletes Call for Flags to Be Lowered for Annapolis Victims After Trump Refuses

Gun-control activist David Hogg picked another fight with President Trump on Monday evening — this time over the Annapolis newspaper shootings — and then reconsidered.

Apparently reacting to reports earlier Monday evening that Mr. Trump had rejected a request from the Annapolis mayor to fly U.S. flags at half mast in mourning for the five Capital Gazette workers killed last week, Mr. Hogg called for lowering the flag.

“I think we should fly our flags at half mast for next 5 days #HalfMastForAnnapolis. RT if you agree,” he posted on Twitter at 10:11 p.m. Monday. . .

A few minutes later though, apparently recognizing a mistake he had made in flag terminology, he sent a slightly reworded tweet.

“I think we should fly our flags at #HalfstaffForAnnapolis for next 5 days. RT if you agree,” he wrote, changing to word “halfmast” to “half-staff.”

Never Trumpers Suffer yet Another Utter Humiliation

Last week was especially glorious not just because we rejected the latest GOPe amnesty scheme, not just because we defunded the left’s union cash extortion machine with the Janus decision, and not just because Justice Kennedy is leaving to be the swing vote on his retirement community HOA. It was especially glorious because these enormous victories – these latest enormous victories – were the direct result of normal Americans giving the gimps, grifters, and geebos of Never Trump the George Costanza treatment by doing precisely the opposite of our alleged betters’ political instincts.

Everything they told us was wrong. If we had done what they demanded, we would not be revelling in the joy of conserva-victory. We would be resigned to yet another defeat. “But Gorsuch” indeed, you never-been-kissed band of losers.

If we had listened to Never Trump, we’d have voted for Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit and we would not only have Merrick Garland (or worse) on the SCOTUS but now she’d be picking another pinko who agrees with the lib bloc that the First Amendment has hitherto unknown asterisks that prevent conservatives from using it, that a bunch of other rights that aren’t in the Constitution actually are, and that the Second Amendment stuff about not infringing on our right to keep and bear arms really means libs can totally infringe on our right to keep and bear arms. Let’s leave aside our booming economy and crushing ISIS and pulling out of the climate scam and maybe peace with North Korea. Just these two Supreme Court picks makes Trump the most important and successful conservative president since The Big R. And we wouldn’t have any of it if that nattering pack of insufferable sissies had had their way.

But even today, this dwindling band of bow-tied nimrods still whine despite these manifest conservative triumphs. And their numbers grow fewer as the evidence grows in support of an undeniable conclusion: The election of Donald Trump was a conservative triumph of a magnitude we are only beginning to fully appreciate.
