Days after Elon Musk accused Twitter of being in “material breach” of the contract for Musk to acquire the social media company, Twitter’s board has agreed to give the billionaire full access to its data.

As soon as this week, Twitter will provide Musk with a “firehose” of data including a real-time record of the more than 500 million tweets sent daily, what devices they come from, and information about the accounts that tweet, the Washington Post reported Wednesday.

The board’s acquiescence is a win for Musk, who put his $44 billion deal to buy Twitter on hold and even threatened to back out if Twitter would not hand over information that would let his team calculate the number of fake or spam accounts on its platform.

Defeating “spam bots” is among the Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s top priorities for Twitter once he takes the company private. Musk has pledged to “authenticate all real humans” and purge fake accounts from the social media website or “die trying.”

On May 13, he said that his deal to buy Twitter could not move forward until he verified Twitter’s claim that spam or fake accounts make up fewer than 5% of Twitter users. Musk has estimated the number is closer to 20% — a claim backed by some independent researchers — but he has repeatedly insisted he needs access to Twitter’s data to know for sure. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission confirmed on Friday that it is investigating Elon Musk’s disclosure that he owned shares in Twitter ahead of his $44 billion purchase of the company.

The SEC is looking into why Musk allegedly made his disclosure late that he owned more than 5% of the company’s shares, which he must legally disclose within 10 days of meeting the threshold.

“The SEC also wants to know why Musk filed a ’13G’ form, which is meant for passive investors, rather than a ’13D’ form that would be for activist investors (including those with interest in making a takeover offer),” Axios reported. “It’s important to note that the SEC’s letter came on the same day as Musk’s disclosure, which is before he offered to buy Twitter outright.”

The SEC said in its letter that it wants a response from Musk even if he does not believe that their “comments apply to your facts and circumstances.”

“The case is easy. It’s straightforward,” Daniel Taylor, a University of Pennsylvania accounting professor, said. “But whether they’re going to pick that battle with Elon is another question.” (Read more from “Feds Confirm Investigation Into Elon Musk” HERE)

Elon Musk called a report that he engaged in sexual misconduct on a 2016 flight “utterly untrue” and an attempt to derail his acquisition of Twitter.

In a series of tweets on Friday, the billionaire SpaceX and Tesla CEO called the flight attendant who accused him of sexual misconduct a “liar” and challenged her to provide more evidence to substantiate her claims that he exposed himself to her, which the business tycoon said she will be unable to do because “it never happened.”

“The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens — this is their standard (despicable) playbook — but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech,” Musk tweeted on Friday.

He called the Business Insider report claiming the flight attendant received a $250,000 settlement from SpaceX over allegations that on a flight in 2016 he exposed his erect penis, rubbed her leg without permission, and attempted to bribe the flight attendant into performing a sexual massage in exchange for a horse a “hit price [sic]” intended to “interfere with the Twitter acquisition.”

But I have a challenge to this liar who claims their friend saw me “exposed” – describe just one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos, …) that isn’t known by the public. She won’t be able to do so, because it never happened.
