Hegseth Signs Memo Ordering Return To ‘Sex-Neutral Standards’ In The Military

By The Federalist. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth signed a memo on Sunday ordering the return of “sex-neutral standards” for military combat roles.

“We need to have the same standards, male or female, in our combat roles to ensure our men and women who are under our leaders or in those formations, have the best possible leaders and the highest possible standards that are not based at all on your sex,” Hegseth said.

According to a copy of the directive obtained by The Federalist, Hegseth has instructed the secretaries of America’s military departments to “develop comprehensive plans to distinguish combat arms occupations from non-combat arms occupations.” These plans, as specified by the defense secretary, must also “identify which positions require heightened entry-level and sustained physical fitness” for “certain combat arms roles.”

“These roles, which are critical to our military’s mission success, demand exceptional physical capabilities, and the standards for them must reflect that rigor,” Hegseth wrote.

The plans to be developed by the military departments must address “Ground Combat Operations,” “Special Operations Forces (SOF) Occupations,” and “Specialized Occupations,” according to the directive. Hegseth Orders Same Physical Requirements for Men, Women in Combat Roles, Says U.S. ‘Allowed Standards to Slip’

By New York Post. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a memo Monday ordering men and women to meet the same physical fitness requirements if they want to serve in combat roles, saying the Pentagon had “allowed standards to slip.”

“Different standards for men and women in combat arms, MOS and jobs, that’s not acceptable,” Hegseth said in a video posted to X, using the abbreviation for “military occupational specialty,” or job type.

“We have to have the same standard — male or female — in our combat roles to ensure our men and women who are under our leaders, or in those formations, have the best possible leaders and the highest possible standards that are not based at all on your sex.”

The memo, which orders the military branches to “develop comprehensive plans to distinguish combat arms occupations from non-combat arms occupations,” specifies in hand-underlined text that the soon-to-be-developed standards must not “result in any existing service member being held to a lower standard.”

“All entry-level and sustained physical fitness requirements within combat arms positions must be sex-neutral, based solely on the operational demands of the occupation and the readiness needed to confront any adversary,” Hegseth wrote. Police: 70-Year-Old Trump Hater Purposefully Struck Musk Supporter With Car at Idaho Tesla Protest

A 70-year-old man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly striking an Elon Musk supproter with his vehicle during an anti-Tesla rally outside a dealership in Meridian, Idaho, according to local law enforcement.

ABC News reports that on Saturday, approximately 30 people gathered outside a Tesla dealership in Meridian, Idaho, to protest against the company’s CEO, Elon Musk, and his role in the Trump administration’s federal job cuts. The protest was overshadowed by a counter-protest of about 200 individuals. According to the Meridian Police Department, as a 49-year-old counter-protester arrived at the scene, Christopher Talbot, 70, of Meridian, allegedly made an obscene gesture toward him before striking him with his car.

Police reported that the victim, who had been driving a truck displaying pro-Trump flags, had just parked and exited his vehicle when Talbot hit him. The counter-protester sustained non-life-threatening injuries and drove himself to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred amid a series of planned “Tesla Takedown” protests organized by an anti-Musk group, targeting Tesla dealerships and facilities across the country. In recent weeks, Tesla has become a focal point for vandalism and demonstrations due to Musk’s prominent and controversial role in President Donald Trump’s second administration. Trump, DOGE, American People Win Big, Activist Judges Take the ‘L’

Another major win just dropped—and this one’s a direct hit against activist judges trying to play lawmaker from the bench and a huge victory for DOGE.

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a stay on a lower court’s activist ruling that tried to block Elon Musk and others from exposing corruption inside USAID. So, what does this mean? Well, it’s was a very big “not so fast” to judicial overreach—and a solid victory for President Trump’s DOGE plan and mostly the American people who deserve a country free from fraud and bloat. . .

This latest decision is more than just a legal technicality—it’s a total slapdown of the radical activist bench that’s been running wild, inserting progressive politics where law and order should rule. The Fourth Circuit didn’t dance around the issue. They got straight to the heart of the problem: these lower court judges are assuming powers they don’t have and stepping way outside the limits of Article III.

Elon Musk Previews DOGE Looking Into Wealth of Lawmakers: ‘How Do They Become Rich?’

Tesla CEO and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk said the organization will look into the reasons so many members of Congress suddenly become rich, accumulating generational wealth over their years in government service.

Musk took questions during a town hall in Wisconsin on Sunday, and one individual asked if DOGE had uncovered any connection of funds to the likes of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) or Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) via the highly scrutinized U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which the State Department is trying to eliminate.

Musk explained that the government will often send money overseas, which flows to these non-governmental organizations, and he believes the funds end up coming back to the U.S., directly into the pockets of some of these lawmakers.

Describing it as a “circuitous route,” Musk explained, “It doesn’t go directly, but let’s just say that there’s a lot of strangely wealthy members of Congress where I’m trying to connect the dots of, ‘How do they become rich?’”

Members of Congress — outside of leadership positions — make $174,000 per year. This raises eyebrows when some are worth millions. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who has been in Congress since 1987, has a net worth of “at least $50.9 million, while Quiver Quantitative places her at $285.05 million,” according to Business Insider. Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), who cofounded both HCA Healthcare and Solantic, is considered one of the richest in Congress, with a net worth of $549.91 million. Elon Musk Hands Out $1 Million Checks to Voters After Wisconsin Supreme Court Declined to Intervene

Elon Musk gave away $1 million checks to two Wisconsin voters despite massive backlash from critics and a lawsuit from the state’s attorney general ahead of a consequential Supreme Court election in the state.

The coveted checks went to two Wisconsin men who have both voted for and donated to GOP campaigns and have a lengthy history of supporting President Trump. Musk said that only “spokesmen” for an online petition against “activist” judges would be eligible for the million-dollar handouts.

Musk, wearing a cheese hat, used his time in Wisconsin to rally for Brad Schimel, a conservative politician running for a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat. He is backed by Trump, Musk and the DOGE head’s many support groups who have spent more than $20 million backing Schimel’s campaign.

Wisconsin is a highly contested battleground state, and liberal critics warned that Musk is backing Schimel so that he can influence the court. Many on the left are concerned about the state’s forthcoming redistricting, which could impact who has control over the House, which is currently held by a slim Republican majority.

“And if the [Wisconsin] Supreme Court is able to redraw the districts, they will gerrymander the district and deprive Wisconsin of two seats on the Republican side. Then they will try to stop all the government reforms we are getting done for you, the American people,” Musk said. Feds Spent Roughly $1 Billion To Conduct Survey That Could’ve Been Done For $10,000, Musk Says

The Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE’s) Elon Musk said Thursday on Fox News that the group found the federal government spent almost $1 billion on a survey that could’ve only cost thousands.

Following President Donald Trump entering office in January, his administration pushed for Musk and DOGE to comb through the government’s spending and identify potential cuts to save taxpayer dollars. On “Special Report with Bret Baier,” the Fox News host sat with Musk and his DOGE team and asked the billionaire what has been the most “astonishing thing” he’s witnessed so far in this process.

“The sheer amount of waste and fraud in the government,” Musk said. “It is astonishing. It’s mind-blowing. We routinely encounter waste of a billion dollars or more, casually.”

“For example, like the simple survey that was literally [a] 10 questions survey. You could do it with SurveyMonkey, [which] would cost about $10,000. The government was being charged almost a billion dollars for that,” Musk added.

Baier could be seen interrupting Musk as he sounded astonished, later asking, “For just a survey?”

Musk responded and said the survey was essentially pointless as it had no “feedback loop.” (Read more from “Feds Spent Roughly $1 Billion To Conduct Survey That Could’ve Been Done For $10,000, Musk Says” HERE)

Video: Rosie O’Donnell Goes Full Election Denier, Claims Musk Stole 2024 for Trump

Election denier and former American comedienne Rosie O’Donnell is now accusing Elon Musk off somehow “stealing” the 2024 election for Donald Trump now that she is a resident of the country of Ireland.

For her first TV appearance since moving to Ireland, O’Donnell sat for a short interview Friday on Irish TV’s The Late Late Show with host Patrick Kielty, where she floated a massive conspiracy theory casting doubt on the U.S. election, The Wrap reported.

Oddly, because he owns the social media outlet formerly known as Twitter, O’Donnell now seems to think that Elon Musk “owns and runs the internet,” and because of that, she thinks he was able to interfere in every state’s election results.

“I question why for the first time in America history a president has won every swing state and is also best friends and his largest donor was a man who owns and runs the internet,” O’Donnell astonishingly exclaimed.

“So, I hope that would be investigated,” she rambled on. “And that we would see whether it was an anomaly or it was something else that happened on election night in America when Kamala Harris was filling up stadiums with people who supported her and Donald Trump was not able to do that.” (Read more from “Video: Rosie O’Donnell Goes Full Election Denier, Claims Musk Stole 2024 for Trump” HERE)

Elon Musk Threatens Lawsuit After Ex-Squad Member Jamaal Bowman Calls Him ‘Nazi,’ ‘Thief’ on CNN

Elon Musk threatened to sue former Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) after the ex-squad member called him a “nazi” and a “thief” during an appearance on CNN on Thursday.

“I’ve had enough. Lawsuit inbound,” Musk posted to X on Friday in response to Bowman’s televised roundtable discussion.

Bowman, who lost last July’s Democrat primary following a series of antisemitic controversies and a Capitol stunt resulting in his criminal conviction, told the panel of commentators that the “American people do not trust Elon Musk and Elon Musk is incompetent in his position.”

“And how do we know? Because they fired tens of thousands of people, it was challenged in court. The court said the people have to go back, and now the people are coming back. He’s incompetent, he’s a thief, he’s a Nazi, and people don’t trust him, period,” Bowman said.

Host Abby Phillip jumped in clarifying: “Former Congressman Bowman, I just have to say, just a second, I just have to say, your opinion about Elon Musk is your opinion about Elon Musk.”

Stranded Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams Safely Splash Down in SpaceX Capsule After 9 Months on ISS

The US astronauts stranded on the International Space Station joyfully emerged from their rescue capsule following a dramatic but smooth return to Earth Tuesday — months after their days-long jaunt in orbit turned into a headline-grabbing space odyssey.

Butch Wilmore, 62, and 59-year-old Suni Williams splashed down off the coast of Tallahassee, Fla., aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule just before 6 p.m. EST Tuesday, concluding a nine-month stint in space that was supposed to last just eight days when it launched in June 2024.

“Butch, Suni, on behalf of SpaceX, welcome home,” a mission-control dispatcher radioed the crew moments after the capsule Dragon Freedom splashed down.

Less than an hour later, the duo — along with American astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov — were extracted from the capsule onboard a recovery vessel, and each was filmed beaming, waving and pumping their fists as they were helped to their feet and whisked away on wheelchairs.

The stranded astronauts conducted around 150 experiments — about 900 hours worth — during their extra time in space, which will be instrumental in the future of human space travel, Joel Montalbano, NASA’s deputy associate administrator for space operations told reporters after the safe splashdown. Elon Musk Says X Was Knocked Offline by ‘Massive Cyberattack’ That Originated in ‘Ukraine Area’

Billionaire entrepreneur and DOGE chief Elon Musk claimed Monday that X went dark as the result of a “massive cyberattack” that originated in the “Ukraine area.”

“We’re not sure exactly what happened,” Musk told Fox Business Network host Larry Kudlow about the apparent operation targeting his social media platform.

“But there was a massive cyberattack to try to bring down the X system, with IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area,” the world’s richest man added.

Musk, 53, did not immediately provide additional evidence of who may have been responsible.

Cybercriminals have been known to create false IP addresses to impersonate computer systems from different parts of the world, a practice known as “spoofing.” (Read more from “Elon Musk Says X Was Knocked Offline by ‘Massive Cyberattack’ That Originated in ‘Ukraine Area’” HERE)
