Trump, Musk Emphasize the Importance of ‘Full Transparency’ in DOGE Efforts

President Donald Trump and DOGE head Elon Musk emphasized the role of “full transparency” in efforts to root out waste, fraud and abuse in an exclusive interview on “Hannity.”

“You know what’s better than saying ‘trust me’? It’s just full transparency. So what we’re doing with DOGE, just go to DOGE.gov. You can see every single action that has been taken,” Musk told Fox News host Sean Hannity during a segment that aired Wednesday.

Trump and Musk discussed a range of topics during their wide-ranging interview, including DOGE and the president’s first 100 days in office.

Trump tapped Musk to lead DOGE with the aim of dismantling government bureaucracy, slashing regulations, cutting wasteful spending and restructuring federal agencies.

“To me, it was important for people to understand he’s doing a big job. He’s doing a very thankless job. It’s really a thankless job. But he’s helping us to save our country. Our country is in serious trouble. And I had to get the best guy,” Trump said. (Read more from “Trump, Musk Emphasize the Importance of ‘Full Transparency’ in DOGE Efforts” HERE)

ABC News Piece on Who’s in Charge Raising Lots of Questions

Now that President Donald Trump in his second term is really looking to get to the bottom of wasteful spending, with the help of Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), ABC News is now asking questions about who is in charge.

“Contradictory statements about Musk make it unclear who runs DOGE,” read the headline from Monday night, with the article shared over X on early Tuesday morning.

As the article mentioned about Musk and DOGE:

As its influence within the federal government grows daily, one question routinely emerges about the Department of Government Efficiency: Who is in charge?

That answer continues to evade the lawyers tasked with defending President Donald Trump’s administration in court.

However, according to Office of Administration Director Joshua Fischer, Musk is neither the administrator nor an employee of DOGE. Instead, Musk is a “non career special government employee” who serves as a senior adviser to the president. The filing compared Musk’s role to that of Anita Dunn, a longtime political adviser who served as a senior adviser to President Joe Biden.

“In his role as senior advisor to the President, Mr. Musk has no greater authority than other senior White House advisors. Like other senior White House advisors, Mr. Musk has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions,” the affidavit said.

Elon Musk ‘Cracked The Code’ For Defeating The ‘Deep State,’ Speaker Johnson Says

Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has “cracked the code” on how to break the “deep state” with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), according to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

Johnson told Mark Levin, host of “Life, Liberty, and Levin” on Fox News in an interview that aired Saturday night, that he met with Musk for an hour at the DOGE leader’s office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building last week.

The speaker noted that Musk has been working out of the old Secretary of War Suite and “we laughed about how appropriate that is because he’s declared war on the deep state and the bureaucracy.”

Johnson added, “You have Democrats now out having rallies to stop him. What is he doing? He’s identifying and allowing us to cut out fraud, waste, and abuse. How could they be against that? It’s irrational. It’s going to work against them.”

Later in the interview, Levin got Johnson to agree that Democrats are being hypocritical for opposing Musk’s work to transform the government via DOGE after they embraced another wealthy billionaire, George Soros, who has influenced policy. Embattled Mayor Adams Balks at Resigning During Sermon Speech – Claims He’s on a Mission From God: ‘I Am Going Nowhere’

Mayor Eric Adams insisted Sunday he has no plans to step down despite a litany of legal troubles and repeated calls for him to throw in the towel — telling a church gathering he’s on a mission from God.

“I am going nowhere,” Hizzoner said during morning remarks at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Queens Village.

“I have a mission to finish, the mission that God put me on many years ago,” Adams said.

“I just find it so amazing — the most sanctified among us are calling for me to step down,” he said. “I’m not going to step down. I’m going to step up.

“I want to be clear: You are going to hear so many rumors … and you’re going to read so much. [But] I am going nowhere. Nowhere. God has fortified me.” (Read more from “Embattled Mayor Adams Balks at Resigning During Sermon Speech – Claims He’s on a Mission From God: ‘I Am Going Nowhere’” HERE)

Elon Musk Shows Us How to Kill Cancel Culture Once and for All

Elon Musk knows how to end cancel culture.

Earlier this month, a member of Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency team, Marko Elez, resigned after the Wall Street Journal reported that the young DOGE staffer once posted “to a deleted social-media account that advocated racism and eugenics.” The story primarily focused on the DOGE’s efforts and offered little evidence to support the serious accusation, giving readers only two examples.

For liberals angry over the DOGE’s mission to uncover and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars, the story proved to be confirmation that Musk is operating a rogue campaign with immature and inexperienced loyalists.

What happened after Elez’s resignation may prove to be a turning point that erodes cancel culture.

It began when Vice President JD Vance spoke up.

“Here’s my view: I obviously disagree with some of Elez’s posts, but I don’t think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid’s life,” Vance said. “We shouldn’t reward journalists who try to destroy people. Ever. So I say bring him back. If he’s a bad dude or a terrible member of the team, fire him for that.” (Read more from “Elon Musk Shows Us How to Kill Cancel Culture Once and for All” HERE)

Independent Reporter Brought the Receipts to Shred The New York Times’ Anti-Elon Nonsense

The liberal media is truly giving itself fits over Elon Musk and his new position within the Trump administration, which is to helm the Department of Government Efficiency, which is uprooting the waste and fraud that’s infested Washington DC. Liberals have slowly replaced Trump derangement syndrome with Musk madness since the 2024 election. Ironically, Musk was recently an Andrew Yang Democrat.

DOGE has shut down USAID and is combing through every crack and crevice looking for government waste, which it has done by using AI to analyze the expenditures of these agencies rapidly. The Left is mad because all their slush fund vehicles are being pinched off. At the Oval Office yesterday, Elon Musk, his son, and Donald Trump took questions from the media as the president signed an order enhancing compliance between government agencies and DOGE, and The New York Times had a predictable headline for the occasion: “Musk Asserts Without Proof That He’s Fixing a Bureaucracy Rife With Fraud.”

The billionaire Elon Musk said in an extraordinary Oval Office appearance on Tuesday that he was providing maximum transparency in his government cost-cutting initiative, but offered no evidence for his sweeping claims that the federal bureaucracy had been corrupted by cheats and officials who had approved money for “fraudsters.”

Answering questions from the media for the first time since his arrival in Washington to run the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, Mr. Musk stood next to the Resolute Desk and asserted that his work was in the interest of the public and democracy. President Trump sat behind the desk, chiming in with approval as he let the world’s richest man expound for roughly 30 minutes on the rationale for the drastic overhaul of the federal bureaucracy.

The goal is to “restore democracy,” Mr. Musk said. “If the bureaucracy’s in charge, then what meaning does democracy actually have?”

‘Unbelievably Baffling’: Joe Rogan Says The Quiet Part Out Loud About Corporate Media’s DOGE Coverage

Podcast host Joe Rogan criticized corporate media Wednesday for its negative reporting on Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), pointing to outlets totally ignoring instances of waste uncovered at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Since Musk announced plans to shutter USAID on Feb. 3, CNN and MSNBC used the phrase “constitutional crisis” over 200 times, the Daily Caller News Foundation learned in a keyword search of footage archived by Grabien News. Rogan, on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” accused media outlets of choosing to attack President Donald Trump and Musk’s USAID plan and fixating on DOGE staffers accessing Americans’ data.

“What’s unbelievably baffling to me is the complete absence of the coverage of all of these things that should be very concerning in mainstream media,” Rogan said “Complete absence. All the discussion, the negative anti-Trump discussion about USAID shutting down, is all the good that it does.”

“And then also, you’re going to get access to people’s private data — that’s all you’re hearing,” he continued. “You’re hearing the gaslighting spin is those two things.”

USAID sent 65.5 million condoms, 9.8 million injectable birth control products and 334,000 IUDs to other countries in fiscal year 2022 to facilitate family planning, particularly in the third world. It also distributed a $2 million grant to Guatemala to fund “gender-affirming care” and LGBTQ activism. Left-Wing Pastor Thinks ‘Violence’ Is Justified Against Elon Musk For Having Audacity To Cut Wasteful Gov’t Spending

Steve Caudle, the far-left pastor of the Greater Second Missionary Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, argued on Sunday that violence is justified against Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk for cutting wasteful government spending.

Caudle suggested that Musk had acted “so ugly” that Americans have “no other choice” than to incite violence to retaliate against the DOGE head’s dismantlement of the U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID), an agency that handed $2 million to Guatemala in order to fund sex change operations and sent over 60 million condoms overseas.

“I’m worried we’re on the verge of bloodshed,” Caudle said. “This is an attempt to take us back to a day where we don’t want to go and will not go. Therefore there will be conflict, I pray that the peace of God will win out and overcome the madness that is attempting to take over this nation. And I will say to you beloved that no one likes violence, but sometimes violence is necessary. When Elon Musk forces his way into the United States Treasury and threatens to steal your personal information and your Social Security check, there is a possibility of violence. Sometimes the devil will act so ugly, that you have no other choice but to get violent and fight. Well someone say ‘well Reverend, you shouldn’t be talking about violence. This is the Christian thing to do.’ Well I will say, why not talk this way because Jesus did?”

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem Gets in Fiery Exchange With CNN Host Over Elon Musk, DOGE: ‘Can’t Trust Our Government’

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem clashed with a CNN host over trust in government despite being a federal official while defending tech mogul Elon Musk’s access to sensitive data.

CNN moderator Dana Bash goaded Noem Sunday by noting how Republicans were once wary about “government, particularly unelected people, having access to personal data.”

“Well, we can’t trust our government anymore,” Noem replied.

That prompted the CNN host to remind her that “you are the government now.”

“Yes, that’s what I’m saying, is that the American people now are saying that we have had our personal information shared and out there in the public,” Noem shot back. Top Federal Agency With History of Wasteful Spending Could Be Next DOGE Target

Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chief Elon Musk’s efforts to clean up waste and fraud in the federal government will soon shift its focus to the Social Security Administration (SSA) in a move likely to create a firestorm with Democrats.

The SSA, created by the Social Security Act under President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1935 and tasked with establishing a federal benefits system for older Americans, will soon become a focus of DOGE, according to a report from Semafor that was not denied by the White House when contacted by Fox News Digital.

While several Democrats — including Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., in a post on X — have been quick to accuse this move as being aimed at slashing Social Security benefits for the elderly, several areas with potential waste exist in the agency that don’t involve cutting current benefits.

Just Facts, a nonprofit research institute, previously reported that the agency disbursed roughly $2 billion in fraudulent or improper payments in 2022, which it calculated was enough “to pay 89,947 retired workers the average annual old-age benefit of $21,924 for 2023.”

Just Facts explained that through a policy known as “administrative finality,” once the “SSA mistakenly overpays a beneficiary for more than four years, it does not recover past overpayments and deliberately continues to make future overpayments excepting cases of fraud.” (Read more from “Top Federal Agency With History of Wasteful Spending Could Be Next DOGE Target” HERE)
