Watch: Backflipping FBI Agent Accidentally Fires Gun and Shoots Man in the Leg

By The Denver Post. An off-duty FBI agent allegedly accidentally shot a man in the leg early Saturday after the agent’s gun fell from his holster on the dance floor of Mile High Spirits, according to a Denver police news release.

“The victim was transported to the hospital with a good prognosis,” the news release read.

The name of the agent wasn’t released because he hasn’t been charged, said Marika Putnam, a Denver police spokeswoman. . .

Video of the incident obtained by Denver7 shows a man alleged to be the FBI agent dancing while surrounded by onlookers and then executing a backflip. During the flip, the gun appears to fly out of the man’s holster. The man in the video jumps to pick up the firearm and appears to fire the gun in the process. The man puts the gun back away in the back of his pants and holds up his hands as onlookers appear shocked and scared.

“When the agent retrieved his handgun, an unintended discharge occurred,” the release read. (Read more from “Backflipping FBI Agent Accidentally Fires Gun and Shoots Man in the Leg” HERE)

Dancing FBI Agent Drops Gun During Backflip and Shoots Man in Leg

By BBC. The fellow customer hit by the bullet was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

It is unclear if the agent, who has not been named, will face charges or disciplinary action. . .

The video shows that his wild moves on the dance-floor had attracted an appreciative crowd at the Mile High Spirits and Distillery bar on Saturday night.

But the mood quickly changed when the gun went off. As shocked patrons look on, the agent retrieves his weapon, holds up his hands and leaves the floor. . .

The statement added: “The victim was transported to the hospital with a good prognosis.” (Read more from “Dancing FBI Agent Drops Gun During Backflip and Shoots Man in Leg” HERE)

IG’s Email Report Will Drop ‘Bombshell’ on Hillary?

By Lifezette. When the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) inspector general (IG) report is released, it “has the potential to be a bombshell,” former Deputy Assistant Attorney General Thomas H. Dupree Jr. said Wednesday on Fox News’ “Your World with Neil Cavuto.”

The report — expected to be made public June 4 and to discussed during a June 5 meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee — will review the FBI’s investigation of 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server to conduct official business as secretary of state.

Then-FBI Director James Comey cleared Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee against President Donald Trump, of prosecution in July 2016 despite the presence of hundreds of emails to and from her that contained classified information.

“I think this IG report has the potential to be a bombshell,” Dupree told guest host Maria Bartiromo. “I think, depending on what the IG finds went on behind the scenes in 2016, it has the potential for changing the narrative a bit.”

Although the IG report “obviously will not shut down” special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Dupree predicted the report “very well could change the political conversation we’re having.” (Read more from “IG’s Email Report Will Drop ‘Bombshell’ on Hillary?” HERE)

FBI Is Asking Everyone to Reset Their Internet Routers, Here’s the Crazy Reason Why

The FBI wants everyone to reset their internet routers to help fend off a malware attack by a Russian hacking group called Sofacy.

Resetting the router may help prevent the hackers from being able to strengthen the malware’s defenses, the agency said through an announcement.

The attack is done through something known as a VPNFilter that targets small office or home office routers, according to the announcement. The malware can collect information, exploit devices and block network traffic. . .

“The size and scope of the infrastructure impacted by VPNFilter malware is significant,” the announcement states. “The malware targets routers produced by several manufacturers and network-attached storage devices by at least one manufacturer. The initial infection vector for this malware is currently unknown.” . . .

“According to the FBI, rebooting your router will destroy the part of the malware that can do nasty things like spy on your activities, while leaving the install package intact. And when that install package phones home to download the nasty part, the FBI will be able to trace that because the US government says it’s seized a critical domain that the Russian hackers were allegedly using,” the website explains. Sickened FBI Agents Ready to Blow Whistle, Stick It to Bosses

Joe DiGenova, the former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, said this week there are many agents in the FBI waiting on Congress to subpoena them so they tell them what they know about the actions of former FBI Director James Comey and former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.

In an interview with the Daily Caller, DeGenova said the agents are “sickened” by all the charges of corruption being leveled against the FBI.

“There are agents all over this country who love the bureau and are sickened by Comey’s behavior, and McCabe, and [Eric] Holder and [Loretta] Lynch and the thugs like [John] Brennan – who despise the fact that the bureau was used as a tool of political intelligence by the Obama administration thugs,” DiGenova said. . .

“Every special agent I have spoken to in the Washington Field Office wants to see McCabe prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” the agent said, according to the transcripts of the interview. “They feel the same way about Comey.” . . .

“All Congress needs to do is subpoena involved personnel and they will tell you what they know. These are honest people,” the agent said. “Leadership cannot stop anyone from responding to a subpoena. Those subpoenaed also get legal counsel provided by the government to represent them.” (Read more from “Sickened FBI Agents Ready to Blow Whistle, Stick It to Bosses” HERE)

FBI Reviewing Claims Against ‘Head-Twisting’ Abortionist

Allegations against a Texas abortionist by former employees that he killed infants who survived abortion by “slashing or twisting their necks” are being reviewed by the FBI, says a new report.

It was some six years ago that the pro-life activists at Operation Rescue released a report that included graphic images of dead victims and comments from former workers for Douglas Karpen.

They claimed he performed “illegal late-term abortions,” providing evidence “in the form of photos taken on their cell phones” at Karpen’s Houston abortion business. . .

Operation Rescue said it “later learned that grand jury was tainted by improper communications between then-District Attorney Devon Anderson and Karpen’s criminal defense attorney Chip Lewis, who were close family friends.” . . .

“The letter I received from the Department of Justice is encouraging. The photos depict wounds inflicted on those babies that could not have been done inside the womb. After having personally attended the Pennsylvania trial of Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted of murdering living babies after failed abortions, I knew we could never give up seeking prosecutions for Karpen’s similar crimes,” said Sullenger. “We are grateful for this new FBI investigation that has renewed our hope that Karpen may finally be brought to justice.” (Read more from “FBI Reviewing Claims Against ‘Head-Twisting’ Abortionist” HERE)

FBI Referred for Criminal Prosecution

State Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has found “reasonable grounds” for believing the FBI and the Justice Department violated federal criminal law in their handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, according to investigative reporter Paul Sperry.

Horowitz, who informed members of Congress Wednesday that his draft report has been completed, has referred his findings to John W. Huber, the U.S. attorney in Utah, for possible criminal prosecution, Sperry said . . .

He also said the report found former FBI Director James Comey and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates targeted Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who briefly served as Trump’s national security adviser, in a counter-intelligence investigation one year before Flynn communicated with the Russian ambassador in December 2016 as a Trump transition official.

The trigger, Sperry said, was Flynn sitting at the same table with Russian President Vladimir Putin at a December 2015 event in Moscow . . .

In a letter to members of Congress on Wednesday, Horowitz did not say when the results of the review will be officially released to the FBI, DOJ and congressional committees, Fox News reported. (Read more from “FBI Referred for Criminal Prosecution” HERE)

FBI Releases Pro-2nd Amendment Statement, Cites ‘Preparation’ by Police and Citizens

A report released by the FBI in April underlined the necessity of the Second Amendment, pointing out that nearly half of the incidents in which active shooters were confronted by citizens, the incident ended with an armed citizen successfully stopping the shooter.

A total of 50 active shooter incidents occurred in the United States in 2016 and 2017; of those 50, 10 involved the shooters being confronted by citizens. Of those ten, four were stopped by an armed citizen who stopped the shooter. The FBI report states, “Armed and unarmed citizens engaged the shooter in 10 incidents. They safely and successfully ended the shootings in eight of those incidents. Their selfless actions likely saved many lives. The enhanced threat posed by active shooters and the swiftness with which active shooter incidents unfold support the importance of preparation by law enforcement officers and citizens alike.” (Read more from “FBI Releases Pro-2nd Amendment Statement, Cites ‘Preparation’ by Police and Citizens” HERE)

Fired Comey Coordinated with FBI on Anti-Trump Testimony

By WND. Americans know that fired FBI Director James Comey released material from his meetings with President Trump to an outsider in order to trigger a special investigation into the president. . .

Talking about the memos he made while FBI director of official meetings with the president, Comey said he took them and, “I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter. Didn’t do it myself, for a variety of reasons. But I asked him to, because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel.”

Now emails have been uncovered that show Comey had more or less top-level access to the FBI, and special counsel Robert Mueller, even after he was fired by the president.

Officials with Judicial Watch say they’ve obtained emails from the DOJ showing that Comey was “advised” by FBI in May 2017 “to consult” with Mueller before testifying about claims of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. . .

“These documents show that James Comey, who was fired by the president, nevertheless had easy, friendly access to the FBI as he prepped his infamous anti-Trump testimony to the Senate,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “This collusion led to Comey’s attacking President Trump and misusing FBI records as part of a vendetta against the president.” (Read more from “Fired Comey Coordinated with Fbi on Anti-Trump Testimony” HERE)

Judicial Watch: Emails Show FBI Advised Comey to Consult with Mueller’s Office Prior to June 2017 Testimony

By Judicial Watch. Judicial Watch today released new emails from the Department of Justice (DOJ) showing that former FBI Director James Comey was advised by FBI officials in May 2017 to consult with Special Counsel Robert Mueller prior to testifying before any congressional committees regarding Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and his firing as FBI director.

According to numerous news reports, Comey met directly with Mueller previous to his June 8, 2017, testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee. Sources said that Comey’s opening statement and subsequent testimony were coordinated with Mueller.

At the hearing, Comey revealed that he had intentionally leaked material from a memo allegedly documenting a meeting with President Trump in order to help assure the appointment of a special counsel.

I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter. Didn’t do it myself, for a variety of reasons. But I asked him to, because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel.

The DOJ and FBI have stated that Comey’s leaks were unauthorized and compared the disclosures to Wikileaks. (Read more from “Judicial Watch: Emails Show FBI Advised Comey to Consult with Mueller’s Office Prior to June 2017 Testimony” HERE)

Previously Lost Peter Strzok, Lisa Page Texts Leaked to Media

By The Washington Examiner. A pivotal array of previously missing text message exchanges between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, two FBI officials who in their conversations displayed a bias against President Trump, sent to Congress with redactions this week have been leaked to the media.

Hours after five congressional committees received the recovered text messages, the Daily Caller News Foundation obtained them and subsequently published them.

These text messages were exchanged between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017, a critical time period that stretches from the presidential transition period to the first several months of the Trump administration, during which former national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned under pressure and former FBI Director James Comey was fired. . .

“Having a tough time processing tonight, Lis. Feeling a profound sense of loss,” Strzok wrote several days after Comey was terminated.

“I feel that same loss,” Page said in response. “I want to see what the FBI could become under him! His vision of greatness for our strong but flawed organization. I’m angry. Angry and mourning.” (Read more from “Previously Lost Peter Strzok, Lisa Page Texts Leaked to Media” HERE)

Read the Strzok-Page Texts the DOJ Handed over to Congress

By The Daily Caller. Many of the text messages in the 49 page release are shorthand and are not entirely clear to the outside interpreter. The congressional committees that obtained the messages Thursday will likely siphon through them to see if, as GOP lawmakers currently believe, there is any evidence of political bias on the part of Strozk and Page.

Strzok was the chief investigator during the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and, notably, watched over the FBI’s investigation into Russian influence in the 2016 presidential election.

A group of House Republicans are calling for the Department of Justice to investigate Strzok and Page for their potential involvement in a potential interference scheme in the Clinton private email case.

A number of the text messages released thus far between Strzok and Page have caused congressional Republicans to raise their eyebrows.

For example, Strzok told Page that he wanted to have an “insurance policy” in the off chance that Trump defeated Clinton in the 2016 election. (Read more from “Read the Strzok-Page Texts the Doj Handed over to Congress” HERE)

‘Body of Evidence’ Emerging Tying Lynch, Comey Together in Massive Scandal

By Conservative Tribune. There have long been suspicions among Republicans that the Obama administration’s Department of Justice and FBI coordinated with each other in regard to exonerating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and ending the investigation of her scandalous use of a private email server.

Based on recent commentary from Republican North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows, chairman of the House Freedom Caucus and member of the Oversight Committee, it would appear that a “growing body of evidence” has been uncovered to support and ultimately prove such coordination took place between former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and fired FBI Director James Comey, among others.

Independent Journal Review reported on Meadows’ remarks during a Thursday appearance on Fox News, in which the congressman revealed the existence of documents, emails and texts which would prove that Comey had lied under oath to Congress when he assured them there’d been no such coordination on the Clinton investigation.

“We have a number of documents, a growing body of evidence, that now would suggest that Director Comey, who under sworn testimony a number of times said, there was no coordination between Loretta Lynch’s DOJ and (Comey’s) FBI investigation,” stated Meadows.

“Not only was that false … but we have emails that would suggest that testimony was false, and at best misled the American public, at worst was lying to Congress,” he continued. (Read more from “‘Body of Evidence’ Emerging Tying Lynch, Comey Together in Massive Scandal” HERE)

Comey Friend Hints Forthcoming Report Could Be Damning for Loretta Lynch

By Washington Examiner. A “good friend” of former FBI Director James Comey’s said he is “very much” looking forward to what the upcoming Justice Department inspector general report on the Clinton email investigation has to say about former Attorney General Loretta Lynch — the former Obama administration official now engaged in a war of words with Comey.

Benjamin Wittes, editor in chief of Lawfare, wrote at length Wednesday about the backstory of Comey’s new tell-all memoir, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership. While he said Comey isn’t without blame for how he handled the FBI’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized private email server, he said the consideration of other decision-makers, “particularly Lynch,” paint a full picture for those people who believe the probe was a “train wreck” that cost Clinton the 2016 presidential election.

Noting the “selective outrage” against Comey for announcing the case was reopened less than two weeks before the election, Wittes said, “Lynch was a compromised figure with respect to the emails ‘matter.'”

The mention of a “matter” is a reference to Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee last year, in which he said Lynch requested he minimize Clinton’s email investigation, urging him to call it a “matter” instead of an “investigation.” (Read more from “Comey Friend Hints Forthcoming Report Could Be Damning for Loretta Lynch” HERE)
