‘They Are Not Nancy Pelosi’s Servants.’ Governor Orders National Guard Home

Gov. Ron DeSantis has ordered more than 600 Florida National Guard soldiers to return home from Washington following reports that troops were “banished” from U.S. Capitol buildings to a parking garage.

DeSantis blasted the treatment of soldiers in the nation’s capital during an appearance Friday morning on “Fox & Friends.”

DeSantis called the assignment a “half-cocked mission at this point” and took aim at Democratic U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“They are soldiers,” DeSantis said “They are not Nancy Pelosi’s servants.”

About 26,000 National Guard soldiers were stationed in Washington following the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Even before the controversy, 15,000 troops assigned to the capital were set to return home within 10 days, according to the National Guard Bureau. COVID Curfew Violators Arrested — Including Prominent Restaurant Owner

Police arrested at least a half-dozen people — including a prominent restaurant owner — in Key West, Florida, for violating the city’s New Year’s Eve COVID-19 curfew, the Key West Citizen reported.

. . .The paper said Joe Walsh has been a vocal opponent of several city COVID-19 restrictions, including a mask requirement, and that on Thursday he emailed City Manager Greg Veliz stating he wouldn’t close Fogarty’s, his bar and restaurant.

Turns out Walsh’s business was the only one that failed to heed the city’s curfew, which required nonessential businesses to close at 10 p.m. every night through Sunday, the Citizen reported.

“He said it was not a real law,” Veliz added to the paper regarding Walsh’s objection to the curfew.

Disturbing Billboards in U.S. Boast Satanic Temple’s ‘Religious Abortion Ritual’

Abortion industry giant Planned Parenthood has been working with the Satanic Temple to fight state abortion restrictions. . .

According to a press release, one of the TST billboards says, “Pregnancy complications are the sixth most common cause of death among women ages 20 to 34. Abortions save lives!”

In the second billboard, a woman tells her friend she does not have to undergo the waiting period for her abortion because she is a satanist.

Both billboards state, “Our abortion ritual averts many state restrictions.”

“We want our members to know that performing our religious abortion ritual means they do not have to fulfill regulations that require them to violate their religious beliefs when they have decided to terminate their pregnancy,” said Sydney Goodwin, TST’s religious reproductive rights spokesperson. Cops Raid Home of Fired Data Analyst Who Toyed With COVID Numbers, May Have Hacked Emergency Alert System (VIDEO)

Florida state police raided the home of a former data analyst for the Florida Department of Health on Friday, who claims Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) “sent the gestapo” to get her to “shut up.”

Rebekah Jones was fired from her position in the DeSantis administration in May for allegedly modifying the state’s COVID-19 dashboard unilaterally without authorization. She claims the state was misleading citizens on the coronavirus numbers, and now she runs her own COVID-19 tracking sites from her house. . .

Jones tweeted Friday that state police served a warrant at her home that morning and seized property, claiming that officers “pointed a gun in [her] face” and “pointed guns at [her] kids.”

She posted accompanying video showing the purported scene from inside her home as police entered. Armed officers can be seen walking through the hallway, and pointing their firearms upward as they called for Jones’ husband to come down the stairs. Neither Jones’ husband nor the couples’ children are seen in the footage.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed in a statement that they served a warrant on Rebekah Jones’ residence, saying that they had been investigating a complaint from the Florida Department of Health that someone had “illegally hacked into their emergency alert system.” (Read more from “Cops Raid Home of Fired Data Analyst Who Revealed State Was Misleading Citizens on COVID” HERE)

Nearly 200 Arrested in Sexual Exploitation of a Single Florida Teen (VIDEO)

Sunshine State authorities busted a massive child sex trafficking network — accused of exploiting a single teen — this week, ending a two-year probe that netted 178 arrests, including a high-profile booster for Florida State University, according to a report and police.

The operation, called “Stolen Innocence,” which began in November 2018, wrapped up on Tuesday — and those allegedly involved face charges ranging from solicitation of prostitution to human trafficking of a minor, the Tallahassee Police Department said in a press release.

It began when department investigators spotted images of a child posted on a website that advertises sex for money, authorities said. The girl was 13 and 14 when most of the alleged offenses occurred — but the abuse may have begun even before her 13th birthday, Elizabeth Bascom, one of the lead investigators, told The Tallahassee Democrat.

A total of 72 suspects were charged with misdemeanors and notices to appear, and 106 people were hit with felony charges — 18 of those being charged federally, according to authorities.

Governor Drafts Laws That Would Allow People To Shoot Looters

Florida’s governor has drafted “anti-mob” legislation to expand already controversial Stand Your Ground laws — to allow people to shoot looters, according to a report.

A draft of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ proposed bill expands the list of “forcible felonies” under Florida’s self-defense law to include criminal mischief causing “interruption or impairment” of a business, according to the Miami Herald, which obtained a copy through a records request.

It also specifically allows force against those looting, which the draft defines as burglary within 500 feet of a “violent or disorderly assembly.”

DeSantis also wants to make it a third-degree felony to block traffic during a protest — and offer immunity to drivers who accidentally kill or injure protesters who do so, according to the Herald.

Numerous other sections enhance criminal penalties for people involved in “violent or disorderly assemblies,” and withholds state funds from local governments that cut law enforcement funding, the report said. (Read more from “Governor Drafts Laws That Would Allow People To Shoot Looters” HERE)

State Passes $15 Minimum Wage Amendment

With all precincts reporting, Floridians have approved an amendment to raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2026.

With 10.48 million votes counted, 60.8 percent of Floridians voted “yes” on the measure, just barely crossing the 60 percent threshold that constitutional amendments need for approval.

Orlando lawyer John Morgan, who spent millions trying to get the amendment passed, said “God answered my prayers.”

“Tonight the people of Florida gave the working poor a forever raise,” Morgan said in a text message. “This was not a political issue, it was a moral issue.”

The amendment increases the state’s minimum wage from $8.56 to $10 in September next year, then go up by $1 each year until it reaches $15 in 2026. Florida will be the eighth state where the minimum wage will be set at $15 in the near future. (Read more from “State Passes $15 Minimum Wage Amendment” HERE)

Biden Team Fails To Deliver Early Turnout Numbers in Critical County

Democrats are turning out at lower rates than Republicans in Florida’s largest county, Miami-Dade, after Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s campaign pared down field operations because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Campaign operatives told Politico that door-to-door efforts to persuade voters to jump on the Biden bandwagon were at a standstill and without funding — despite record-breaking fundraising hauls by the campaign — for months leading up to the final stretch before Election Day.

“We did not get the kind of funding for different vendors who would do that type of work until late in the campaign,” Rep. Frederica Wilson, who represents Miami’s heavily Black congressional district, told Politico.

In Miami-Dade, 152,964 registered Republicans cast early ballots, leading Democratic voters, 146,371 of whom turned out early to the polls, according to state data on Friday.

Meanwhile, Democrats who mailed in their ballots in the county nearly doubled that of Republicans, 208,803 to 116,040. (Read more from “Biden Team Fails To Deliver Early Turnout Numbers in Critical County” HERE)

WATCH: CNN’s Jim Acosta Responds to Hecklers Yelling ‘CNN Sucks’ During Live Report at Trump Rally

Chants of “CNN sucks” could be heard in the background as CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta reported live from the president’s Monday rally in Florida.

“Members of the crowd at President Trump’s rally in Florida chant ‘CNN sucks’ as @Acosta is live on air,” the official Twitter account for the Daily Caller tweeted Monday evening, accompanied by a video of Acosta being jeered by Trump rally attendees.

“And as this crowd is chanting that there are members of the press here who suck, I should also point out what also sucks — getting the coronavirus,” Acosta says in the clip in response to the jeers.

Donald Trump Jr. acknowledged the Daily Caller’s Twitter post saying, “Fact check: true.”

His comment prompted a response from Acosta, who posted an article from Mediate focusing on his response to the hecklers, headlined, “Jim Acosta Fires Back as Trump Rally Goers Chant ‘CNN Sucks’ in Live Shot: ‘What Also Sucks? Getting the Coronavirus.’”

Man Busted for Requesting Absentee Ballot for Dead Wife

Florida authorities nabbed a registered Democrat after he attempted to “test the system” by requesting an absentee ballot for his late wife, officials said.

Manatee County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Larry Wiggins, 62, after the mail-in ballot was requested for his wife who had been dead for two years, the Bradenton Herald reported.

“As soon as they pulled up the file it showed that she is dead,” Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Mike Bennett said. . .

Deputies then interviewed Wiggins, who is a registered Democrat, and he confessed that he was trying to “test the system,” the newspaper reported. (Read. more from “Man Busted for Requesting Absentee Ballot for Dead Wife” HERE)
