WATCH: CNN’s Jim Acosta Responds to Hecklers Yelling ‘CNN Sucks’ During Live Report at Trump Rally

Chants of “CNN sucks” could be heard in the background as CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta reported live from the president’s Monday rally in Florida.

“Members of the crowd at President Trump’s rally in Florida chant ‘CNN sucks’ as @Acosta is live on air,” the official Twitter account for the Daily Caller tweeted Monday evening, accompanied by a video of Acosta being jeered by Trump rally attendees.

“And as this crowd is chanting that there are members of the press here who suck, I should also point out what also sucks — getting the coronavirus,” Acosta says in the clip in response to the jeers.

Donald Trump Jr. acknowledged the Daily Caller’s Twitter post saying, “Fact check: true.”

His comment prompted a response from Acosta, who posted an article from Mediate focusing on his response to the hecklers, headlined, “Jim Acosta Fires Back as Trump Rally Goers Chant ‘CNN Sucks’ in Live Shot: ‘What Also Sucks? Getting the Coronavirus.’”

Man Busted for Requesting Absentee Ballot for Dead Wife

Florida authorities nabbed a registered Democrat after he attempted to “test the system” by requesting an absentee ballot for his late wife, officials said.

Manatee County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Larry Wiggins, 62, after the mail-in ballot was requested for his wife who had been dead for two years, the Bradenton Herald reported.

“As soon as they pulled up the file it showed that she is dead,” Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Mike Bennett said. . .

Deputies then interviewed Wiggins, who is a registered Democrat, and he confessed that he was trying to “test the system,” the newspaper reported. (Read. more from “Man Busted for Requesting Absentee Ballot for Dead Wife” HERE)

Florida Sheriff Orders Deputies Not to Wear Masks, Bans Civilians in Masks From Office

A Florida sheriff barred deputies from wearing facial coverings in most work settings, authorities said Wednesday, even as the state continues to struggle with record-breaking coronavirus numbers.

Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods insisted there’s no conclusive evidence that wearing masks curbs the spread of the virus — despite explicit Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines saying just that.

“Now, I can already hear the whining and just so you know I did not make this decision easily and I have weighed it out for the past 2 weeks,” according to a memo Woods wrote to staff, provided to NBC News by the sheriff’s office.

“We can debate and argue all day of why and why not. The fact is, the amount of professionals that give the reason why we should, I can find the exact same amount of professionals that say why we shouldn’t.”

The policy applies to all 900 department employees, and Woods said his decision is final. (Read more from “Florida Sheriff Orders Deputies Not to Wear Masks, Bans Civilians in Masks From Office” HERE)

A Man Died From a Gunshot Wound to His Head. He Was Listed as a COVID-19 Death — and There Are Several More

A local news outlet in Palm Beach County, Florida, is saying that several deaths reported in the county were incorrectly attributed to COVID-19 — including a 60-year-old man who died from a gunshot wound to his head.

The investigative team at WPEC-TV reported Thursday that at least eight of the 581 deaths listed on a spreadsheet tallying COVID-19 deaths provided by the county medical examiner’s office are incorrectly attributed to the virus. . .

According to the outlet, included on the list is a “90-year-old man who fell and died from complications of a hip fracture” and “a 77-year-old woman who died of Parkinson’s disease.”

Upon presenting their findings to the medical examiner’s office, Operations Manager Paul Petrino acknowledged that the eight cases were errors and said they would be removed.

Palm Beach County resident Rachel Eade, who reportedly also obtained the spreadsheet to fact-check it, added that of the 581 deaths listed, only 169 are listed without any other contributing causes. Department of Health Exposed for Massively Overreporting Positive COVID-19 Cases

Orlando news station WOFL-TV has uncovered a major discrepancy in Florida’s coronavirus statistics.

According to WOFL, the Florida Department of Health has said that “countless” coronavirus testing sites across The Sunshine State have reported a near 100% positivity rate — which means every single person tested was positive— while other laboratories have reported extremely high positivity rates.

But reporters for WOFL reached out to many of those testing sites — and discovered the official figures do not reflect reality.

For example, state data showed that Orlando Health, a local hospital, had a 98% COVID-19 positivity rate. But when WOFL reached out to the hospital, hospital officials said their positivity rate is only 9.4%.

State reports also claimed Orlando VA Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76% — but the hospital told WOFL its positivity rate is only 6%. (Read more from “Department of Health Exposed for Massively Overreporting Positive COVID-19 Cases” HERE)

Men Busted for Selling Bleach as ‘Miracle’ Coronavirus Cure

A Florida family has been hit with federal charges for allegedly peddling a so-called coronavirus miracle cure that is actually a concoction used as an industrial bleach.

Mark Grenon, 62, and three of his sons, are accused of marketing and selling the product named Miracle Mineral Solution through an entity called the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing in Bradenton, according to a criminal complaint.

The toxic solution pushed by the Grenon family, also known as MMS, is typically used to treat textiles, industrial water, pulp and paper, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA has not approved the solution for any health-related use and has said ingesting it can cause vomiting and dehydration.

The Grenon’s also marketed the bleaching agent as a cure for other serious health conditions, including cancer, autism and AIDS, according to the complaint. (Read more from “Men Busted for Selling Bleach as ‘Miracle’ Coronavirus Cure” HERE)

Black Sheriff Has a Message for Would-Be Rioters: I Will Deputize Gun Owners If You Think You Can Bring Your Lawlessness Here (VIDEO)

Clay County Sheriff Darryl Daniels made it clear this week that he and his officers will not put up anyone who would bring their lawlessness to his Florida community.

In a video YouTube statement posted Tuesday, Daniels, who is black and a Republican, stood with about 20 deputies to declare to civil rights protesters who might consider getting violent that they are not only not welcome in Clay County, but also that he would not hesitate to dole out the pain and use legal gun owners to help keep the peace. . .

He went on to explain how he and his officers view the lawlessness that has spread in many other cities and counties across the U.S.

“Lawlessness — that’s unacceptable in this country. Lawlessness — that’s unacceptable in Clay County,” Daniels said. “If you threaten to come to Clay County and think that for one second we’ll bend our backs for you, you’re sadly mistaken.” . . .

“If we can’t handle you, you know what I’ll do? I will exercise the power and authority as the sheriff, and I will make special deputies of every lawful gun owner in this county,” he said. “And I’ll deputize them for this one purpose: to stand in the gap between lawlessness and civility. That’s what we’re sworn to do, and that’s what we’re going to do.” (Read more from “Black Sheriff Has a Message for Would-Be Rioters: I Will Deputize Gun Owners If You Think You Can Bring Your Lawlessness Here (VIDEO)” HERE)

No Surprise: Democrats Hold Sizable Lead in Vote-By-Mail Enrollment

Democrats are holding a sizeable lead in vote-by-mail enrollment in Florida, leading Republicans by over 300,000 voters, according to Division of Election data released last week.

Current data shows Democrats enjoying a sizeable advantage, enrolling 1.46 million Democrats for vote-by-mail. Republicans, meanwhile, have 1.16 million signed up. According to Politico, Democrats “held an advantage of about 8,800 in vote-by-mail enrollment” in 2016. The news could signal trouble for the Trump campaign, which narrowly secured the Sunshine State in the last election, winning by less than 113,000 votes.

Democrats, both nationwide and in Florida, specifically, have been encouraging voters to apply for absentee ballots, citing concerns related to the novel coronavirus. However, Republicans, including the president and Attorney General William Barr, have warned against vote-by-mail on a large scale due to the increased risk of voter fraud.

The Democrat PAC Priorities USA filed a lawsuit last month against Florida officials, including Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), demanding changes to provisions to make vote-by-mail easier for November’s election. (Read more from “No Surprise: Democrats Hold Sizable Lead in Vote-By-Mail Enrollment” HERE)

Federal Judge Decisively Rules Florida Ex-Felons Can’t Be Denied the Right to Vote

A federal judge ruled Sunday that it is unconstitutional to prevent felons in Florida from voting because they can’t afford to pay back court fees, fines and restitution to victims, striking down parts of a law passed by Republican lawmakers and signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis last year.

Calling the law a “pay-to-vote system,” U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle’s 125-page ruling declares that court fees are a tax, and it creates a new process for determining whether felons are eligible to vote.

“This order holds that the State can condition voting on payment of fines and restitution that a person is able to pay but cannot condition voting on payment of amounts a person is unable to pay,” Hinkle wrote.

With one sentence, Hinkle also allowed two large groups of felons to register to vote: those who were appointed an attorney for their criminal case because they couldn’t afford one on their own, and anyone who had their financial obligations converted to civil liens. . .

For all other felons who can’t afford to pay their financial obligations, Hinkle ordered state officials to adopt a new process for determining whether felons are too poor to vote: They can request an advisory opinion from Secretary of State Laurel Lee. Naval Air Station Shooter Turns out to Be Al-Qaeda Operative

The Associated Press reported Monday that “the gunman who killed three U.S. sailors at a military base in Florida last year repeatedly communicated” with al-Qaeda operatives “about planning in the months leading up to the attack.” And he didn’t just communicate with them. Attorney General William Barr noted that the shooter, Mohammed Alshamrani, had “significant ties to Al Qaeda and the Arabian Peninsula not only before the attack, but before he even arrived in the United States.” Yet he was still able to get into the country and execute the attack he planned – and that is the real story here.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said that Alshamrani’s attack on December 6, 2019, at Naval Air Station Pensacola was the “brutal culmination of years of planning and preparation.”

He added: “We now know enough to see Alshamrani for what he was — a determined AQAP [Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula] terrorist who spent years preparing to attack us. He wasn’t just coordinating with them about planning and tactics. He was helping the organization making the most it could out of his murders.” Wray said that al-Qaeda “certainly more than just inspired” Alshamrani’s massacre.

How many Americans know that al-Qaeda claimed — three months ago — to be behind the murderous attack by a Muslim from Saudi Arabia at a U.S. Naval Base in Florida last year? How many Americans do you think even know that there was a murderous attack by a Muslim at a U.S. Naval Base in Florida last year?
