‘Thank You, Jesus!’ Video Shows Deputy, Citizen Sucked Into Drainage Pipe in Raging Flood Waters

A sheriff’s deputy and a citizen were sucked into a drainage pipe Friday, barely escaping with their lives, Florida law enforcement officials reported.

“David, can you believe what just happened to us? Just breathe. Just breathe,” Escambia County sheriff’s deputy William Hollingsworth said after he and a citizen identified only as “David” emerged from a drainage pipe about 100 yards from where they had been sucked into it.

“Oh, thank you Jesus! I thought I was dying,” David said in the video.

“When I came out, you were right behind me,” David also said, recounting the terrifying incident to other first responders at the scene.

“Me and you man,” David said, as the two clasped hands. “That’s an experience for life. I appreciate you, brother.”

After Initially Crying ‘Inaccurate,’ Biden Admin Confirms China Has Had a Spy Base in Cuba Since at Least 2019

China has teamed up with a communist ally to spy on the US just 90 miles south of Florida, White House officials confirmed.

The country has been operating a spy base in Cuba since at least 2019 as part of an effort to ramp up its spying efforts, a Biden administration official said, noting that the issue has been “ongoing” and predates Biden’s presidency.

The anonymous White House official said that the US intelligence community has known of China’s spying from Cuba for some time, deeming it an “ongoing” matter” that is “not a new development.”

The Biden admin has worked to stop China’s efforts to expand its spy operations and believes some progress has been made through diplomacy and other specified action, the official said.

The existence of the Chinese spy base was confirmed by The Wall Street Journal on Thursday, which reported that China and Cuba had reached an agreement in principle to build an electronic eavesdropping station on the island. ‘Gender Identity Is Real’: Federal Judge Temporarily Blocks Florida Ban On Puberty Blockers For Minors

A federal judge on Tuesday concluded “gender identity is real” in a ruling that partially strikes down Florida‘s new law banning doctors from prescribing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to minors.

Judge Robert Hinkle issued a preliminary injunction against Senate Bill 254, which also criminalizes permanent mutilating surgical procedures and mandates that a healthcare practitioner’s license be terminated if they violate the law.

“The elephant in the room should be noted at the outset,” Hinkle wrote in a 44-page ruling. “Gender identity is real. The record makes this clear.”

“Despite the defense admissions, there are those who believe that cisgender individuals properly adhere to their natal sex and that transgender individuals have inappropriately chosen a contrary gender identity, male or female, just as one might choose whether to read Shakespeare or Grisham,” Hinkle continued.

Hinkle’s ruling centered around two 11-year-old girls and one 8-year-old boy whose parents filed the lawsuit against the state’s surgeon general, arguing that banning GnRH agonists known as puberty blockers and cross-sex hormone prescriptions violates the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause. Woman Accused of Attempting to Murder Another Woman’s Unborn Baby With Abortion Pills

A Florida woman is accused of attempting to murder another woman’s unborn baby, Tampa Bay 10 reported over the weekend, citing law enforcement.

Haley Raborn, 21, allegedly tried to bribe the pregnant woman’s former fiancé in April to slip the pregnant woman abortion pills without her knowledge, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office. The woman was 11 weeks pregnant at the time.

“Deputies say the woman reached out to the sheriff’s office after learning about Raborn’s plan from her former fiancé. Raborn had a previous romantic relationship with the fiancé and reached out to him to request that he kill the unborn child by giving the pregnant woman an abortion pill,” according to the report.

Authorities said the ex-fiancé provided law enforcement Snapchat messages between himself and Raborn, which allegedly included premeditated instructions for how to carry out the crime. Raborn allegedly offered to pay the fiancé with a pair of AirPods if he successfully carried out the abortion. The fiancé turned the abortion pills over to law enforcement, the report states.

Why the FBI Raided a Florida Blogger’s Home This Month

With the many crises plaguing the Biden White House, especially the deadline for Congress to raise the debt ceiling, you might have missed the FBI raid on a blogger’s home. The twist is unlike past FBI raids targeting conservatives, former President Donald Trump especially, this happened to occur at the home of former Deadspin writer Tim Burke, who was responsible for exposing former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o’s fake girlfriend whose catfish tale became a source of national news and mockery. His wife, Lynn Hurtak, is a Tampa Bay City Council member.

The residence appears connected to a probe regarding alleged hacks at Fox News, though no one has been charged, nor have persons of interest been named. Those breaches center on the Tucker Carlson videos that Media Matters and other left-wing outlets tried to use in a character assassination plot against the former Fox News host. It fell flat because it was a nothing burger—what Carlson said wasn’t bad. The home was searched by the FBI earlier this month (via Tampa Bay Times):

FBI agents served a warrant at a home in Tampa earlier this month, and a small but remarkably consistent corner of the internet went dark. For well over a decade, fans of the Twitter account @bubbaprog could count on a stream of compelling and obscure sports clips, inscrutable cable news blunders and left-leaning critiques of politicians and pundits. The account posted nearly 134,000 times since 2008, or around 25 times daily to its 117,000 followers. Videos posted there frequently reached millions of views.

For sports and media obsessives with a taste for the wonkish and arcane, @bubbaprog, run by the longtime journalist and blogger Tim Burke, was a fountain of weird and timely content — sportscasters’ faces frozen in midword contortions, basketball fans epically failing at high-fives or a candid clip of Tucker Carlson between segments, talking about buying 200 tins of dipping tobacco…

Hillary: ‘Ultra-MAGA’ Florida ‘Isn’t Safe for People of Color, LGBTQ+,’ or Even Disney

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declared on her Twitter account that Florida is not safe for “people of color” nor “LGBTQ+” people under Governor Ron DeSantis.

Clinton also took a moment to call the state “Ultra-MAGA” and attached news clippings about Disney and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People that were critical of Florida.

The first headline, “Civil rights groups warn tourists about traveling to Florida,” is in reference to an Associated Press article that cited the NAACP’s declaration that Florida is unsafe for black people.

The NAACP board of directors claimed the advisory is necessary to combat Florida’s “aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools.”

“Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals. Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color,” the advisory stated. Corporate Media Is Hiding the Real Reason Disney Canceled Its New Florida Investment

Disney scrapped its plan to build a new office complex in Florida that would have cost the company nearly $1 billion. While the move is likely part of an overall cost-cutting plan, the corporate media framed the story as a virtuous rebuke of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ policies.

In The New York Times’ coverage, reporter Brooks Barnes lamented the 2,000 jobs that the Lake Nona region of Florida was set to lose due to Disney’s decision. The project would have re-located mostly high-paid Disney employees from the current California office to a new campus 20 miles from Disney World.

However, Barnes spent the bulk of the article framing the move around Disney’s, as well as the Democrats’ preferred narrative. He blamed the move on DeSantis’ “scorched-earth attempt” to reign in Disney’s foray into left-wing gender politics. He discussed a memo, viewed by the Times, that blamed the “changing business conditions” in Florida for forcing Disney to reconsider further investment in the state.

The memo did not mention DeSantis by name, but it didn’t have to. There was no need for Disney CEO (and prominent Biden supporter) Bob Iger to get his hands dirty and spark another public sparring match with DeSantis. Disney executives let the media do the dirty work for them. Two anonymous sources confirmed to the Times that Disney’s “battle with the governor and his allies in the Florida Legislature figured prominently into Disney’s decision to cancel the Lake Nona project.” That is all the corporate press needed to justify sparking the latest anti-DeSantis narrative. Surgeon General Accuses CDC and FDA Heads of Ignoring ‘Many of the Risks Associated With mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines’

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo has written a letter to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky and U.S. Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Robert Califf, accusing the public health officials of ignoring many risks related to mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

“Your ongoing decision to ignore many of the risks associated with mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, alongside your efforts to manipulate the public into thinking they are harmless, have resulted in deep distrust in the American health care system,” Ladapo declared in the May 10 letter.

He asserted that their “collective decisions to deny that natural immunity confers comparable or superior protection to COVID-19 vaccination, push mRNA COVID-19 boosters for the young and healthy, and delay acknowledging the risks of vaccine-induced myocarditis have only sowed doubt between the American people and the public health community.”

The Sunshine State public health official listed a number of requests — among them, he pressed for the officials to “report why randomized clinical trials were not required prior to the approval of mRNA COVID-19 boosters, including the new bivalent booser.” He called for them to “Report the number of adolescents that have died within days of receiving a second dose or booster of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine,” and to “Explain why you have not required Pfizer to report results of its randomized trial in pregnant women … which was completed in July of 2022.” He also made various other requests. Republicans Ripping DeSantis for Feuding With Disney Took Company’s Campaign Cash

Prominent Republicans who have criticized Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ actions against The Walt Disney Company have received significant donations from the media giant’s corporate political action committee, according to campaign finance records published by the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

DeSantis and Disney have been at odds since early 2022, when the Florida legislature passed a law signed by DeSantis stripping Disney of municipal powers within its special district after Disney criticized Florida’s Parental Rights In Education Law. Recently, several top Republicans have come out opposing the governor’s feud with the company, arguing that it’s bad for business, at a time when DeSantis is widely expected to run for president in 2024; however, many of these Republicans raked in campaign contributions from Disney executives and employees.

Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, who recently suggested that DeSantis’s actions were “problematic,” has received $20,500 since 2016 from Disney, of which $11,000 was donated to his most recent election campaign, according to FEC data. The money was formally donated by The Walt Disney Company Employees PAC, a political action committee run by Disney’s top executives that was organized in 1993 by then-CEO Michael D. Eisner.

A PAC officially affiliated with Rubio, known as the “Reclaim America PAC,” has received $35,000 since 2011, with the funds being used to support his re-election campaigns and donate to other candidates, per FEC data.

Rubio questioned “the idea that somehow if you run crossways with us politically, whoever’s in charge, then you may wind up in the crosshairs of the legislature for political purposes to make a statement at you,” when asked about DeSantis’ battle with Disney in a recent interview with Fox News. Police Release Dash Cam Footage of Trans Teacher Who Allegedly Threatened Violence (VIDEO)

A transgender Florida teacher who allegedly threatened violence against his middle school students told police that his therapist told him therapy wouldn’t work for him in newly released dash cam footage.

The footage, obtained by Moms for Liberty in Hernando County, Florida, shows police arriving at the home of Alexander Renczkowski following the threats he allegedly made. The teacher said he was having “bad thoughts” and a deputy collected three firearms and ammunition from his home under a temporary Risk Protection Order (RPO) on March 27.

The police officer inquired about a therapy appointment scheduled for the coming Monday in the footage, and the teacher told him it was with a new therapist.

“My first one [therapist] was not that good, told me ‘therapy is not gonna work for you,’” the teacher appears to say in the video.
