U.S. Marine Allegedly Flew From Louisiana to Florida to Have Sex With 14-Year-Old Girl He Met Online

A U.S. Marine, stationed in Louisiana, is currently in custody in Florida after investigators say he had “intercourse” with a 14-year-old girl he had met on a social media app.

Just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening, dispatchers with the West Melbourne Police Department received a call from a woman who claimed her 14-year-old daughter had gone missing. The woman, whose name has not been released, said she had seen the girl at approximately 8 a.m. that morning but had not seen her since. Police classified the girl as a “runaway” and began an investigation into her disappearance.

The woman stated that she had picked her daughter up from an America’s Best Value Inn “on a different date,” a court document stated, and she had gone through her daughter’s phone to try and determine where she might be and with whom. The girl’s phone allegedly revealed that she had met Sean Michael Rudziewicz, a 22-year-old U.S. Marine, on a video chat app called Omegle. As their correspondence progressed, Rudziewicz suggested they continue chatting on other apps, such as Discord and Snapchat “to further the relationship,” a police report stated.

During one of their recent conversations, the girl reportedly suggested that Rudziewicz come out to Melbourne, along the eastern coast of Florida, for a visit. Rudziewicz agreed and flew into town on January 16. While there, he took the juvenile “to the movies, the mall, and the beach,” the police report claimed. . .

Rudziewicz was, in fact, arrested and booked into Brevard County Jail, where he is being held on $70,000 bond. He has been charged with lewd or lascivious battery to a victim 12 to 16 years of age and interference with child custody, Law & Crime reported, and is scheduled to appear in court again on February 23. Rudziewicz has claimed that the victim had previously told him that she was 18. Couple Who Bid for Pig at Auction to Rescue It Find They Were Buying Its Meat

A Florida couple who won a pig at a state fair auction, intending to save it from the slaughterhouse, discovered the animal would be killed anyway and they had spent $4,700 on its meat.

Meg and Eric Weinberger, who run the Rescue Life sanctuary in Palm Beach Gardens, insist officials from the South Florida Fair gave no notification that they were bidding in a “terminal” auction of livestock raised solely for processing.

They believe but have not been able to confirm that the pig they fell in love with, named Bella B Swine by the teen who raised it, has now been killed. They say fair managers told them they were only entitled to the 186lbs of meat.

“It did not say it was a slaughter–only auction, otherwise we’d have turned around and walked away,” Meg Weinberger said.

“They said it was state law that the animal had to be slaughtered, but other fairs in Florida allow auction winners to take the animals with them. Gov. Ron DeSantis Sworn in With ‘the Bible of the Revolution’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was sworn in for a second term Tuesday as the 46th governor of the Sunshine State using the Bible of the Revolution, which the Founding Fathers in the U.S. Congress endorsed over 240 years ago.

DeSantis took the oath of office on the steps of the state Capitol building in Tallahassee alongside his wife, Casey, and their three children, with his hand to the Aitken Bible from 1782.

The Bible came from the American Journey Experience, which the nationally syndicated radio host and co-founder of Blaze Media, Glenn Beck, founded two years ago as a state-of-the-art museum and research library to learn the history of the United States. Health Officials Worried After Florida Supreme Court Approves COVID-19 Vaccine Probe

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis petitioned the state’s supreme court earlier this month for an order to impanel a statewide grand jury to probe any wrongdoing related to COVID-19 vaccines. The court gave him the green light on Thursday.

This has a number of health officials and so-called experts worried about the impact that this truth-finding mission may have on vaccine hesitancy and the public’s faith in the medical establishment. . .

The governor’s petition noted that the “pharmaceutical industry has a notorious history of misleading the public for financial gain. Questions have been raised regarding the veracity of the representations made by the pharmaceutical manufacturers of COVID-19 vaccines, particularly with respect to transmission, prevention, efficacy, and safety. An investigation is warranted to determine whether the pharmaceutical industry has engaged in fraudulent practices. The people of Florida deserve to know the truth.”

On Dec. 22, the seven-member court complied with DeSantis’ request to “get more information and bring legal accountability for those who committed misconduct.”

The grand jury will also be able to consider “other criminal activity or wrongdoing that the statewide grand jury uncovers during the course of the investigation” or behavior that is part of an “organized criminal conspiracy,” reported the Orlando Sentinel. Elon Musk Reveals His 2024 Presidential Pick

Twitter CEO Elon Musk said he would support Ron DeSantis if the Florida Governor chooses to run for president in 2024.

“As a reminder, I was a significant supporter of the Obama-Biden presidency and (reluctantly) voted for Biden over Trump,” Musk tweeted Friday.

“But freedom of speech is the bedrock of a strong democracy and must take precedence,” he added. “My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far.”

In response to @ProudElephantUS asking in the same thread Musk if he would support Ron DeSantis in 2024, Musk responded, “Yes.”

Florida Medical Boards Approve Ban on Puberty Blockers, Transgender Surgeries for Minors

A joint committee of two medical boards voted Friday to approve a rule banning puberty blockers and other gender dysphoria treatments for minors in the state.

The Florida Board of Medicine and the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine approved the rule prohibiting minors from receiving puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and transgender surgery after Florida Surgeon General Joseph A. Ladapo asked the Board of Medicine in June to establish a standard of care for such “complex and irreversible procedures.”

The boards disagreed regarding how best to regulate Florida minors who have already begun treatment with puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. The Board of Osteopathic Medicine voted to allow those treatments to continue if they were part of a clinical trial approved by an Institutional Review Board. The Board of Medicine voted against that exception.

The boards had agreed in August to begin a 120-day process to begin crafting rules regarding gender dysphoria treatments for children.

“Today, the Boards of Medicine & Osteopathic Medicine voted to protect our children from irreversible surgeries and highly experimental treatments,” Ladapo said in a statement Friday praising the new rule. “I appreciate their integrity for ruling in the best interest of Florida children despite facing tremendous pressure to permit these risky and unproven treatments.” (Read more from “Florida Medical Boards Approve Ban on Puberty Blockers, Transgender Surgeries for Minors” HERE)

Biden *Again* Says Son Died in Iraq

President Joe Biden misspoke during a speech in Florida on Tuesday, speaking about the ongoing “war in Iraq” and also claimed it was where his son died.

“Inflation is a worldwide problem right now because of a war in Iraq and the impact on oil and what Russia’s doing, excuse me, the war in Ukraine,” Biden said.

“I’m thinking of Iraq because that’s where my son died,” he added, as an excuse for the verbal slip.

Although Beau Biden served in Iraq, he did not die there. He died in 2015 at Walter Reed National Medical Center in Maryland after fighting brain cancer, six years after he served in Iraq. He was 46. . .

State Votes to Ban Sex Change Procedures for Minors After Volatile Testimony

The Florida Board of Medicine has voted to ban sex change surgeries and hormone therapy for children under the age of 18 after hours of deliberation and testimony Friday.

The guidelines, first released April 20, 2022, state that anyone under 18 cannot receive hormone therapy or puberty blockers. It also bans “gender reassignment” surgery for children and adolescents. The Florida Medical Board released the guidance in response to guidance from the US Department of Health and Human Services endorsed sex change procedures for teens.

The state surgeon general endorsed the move in June and called on the medical board to, “review the Agency’s findings and the Department’s guidance to establish a standard of care for these complex and irreversible procedures.”

The vote came after the board heard testimony from several individuals who had detransitioned. One such individual, Chloe Cole, said she decided to transition after being “introduced to inappropriate content, and an echo chamber of far-Left ideology, such as that sex and gender are separate, women are inherently victims, men are inherently superior, and that dysphoric children need hormones and surgery in order to live.” (Read more from “State Votes to Ban Sex Change Procedures for Minors After Volatile Testimony” HERE)

Florida Board of Education Passes New Transgender Restroom Rule

The Florida Board of Education passed a new rule on Wednesday that requires school boards that allow transgender students to use bathrooms inconsistent with their biological sex at birth to notify parents of the policy.

The new rule, 6A-10.086, will mandate public and charter schools to provide “full knowledge” to parents regarding how the school’s restrooms and locker rooms are designated if they are separated for any other reasons than biological sex.

The purpose of the new law is, “To protect the fundamental rights of parents to ensure they are fully informed of how bathrooms are designated and how locker rooms, which include dressing rooms, are designated and supervised. This rule will ensure full transparency to enhance the health, safety and welfare of students when utilizing bathrooms and locker rooms and protect parental rights.”

In addition, if a school board chooses to allow any different criteria “the policy or procedure must be posted on the district’s website or charter school’s website, and must be sent by mail to student residences to fully inform parents.” (Read more from “Florida Board of Education Passes New Transgender Restroom Rule” HERE)

Jury Rejects Death Penalty for Parkland School Shooter

A Florida jury rejected the death penalty Thursday for the Parkland school shooter who killed 17 people on Valentine’s Day 2018.

The shooter received life in prison without the possibility of parole for each of the murders, causing disappointment and frustration among family members of the victims attending the trial.

“What do we have the death penalty for,” said Dr. Ilan Alhadeff, who gave a moving victim impact statement in August on the murder of his daughter Alyssa, a 14-year-old varsity soccer player. “We are beyond disappointed with the outcome today,” his wife, Lori, said Thursday, reports The New York Times. “I just don’t understand this.”

“I don’t know how this jury came to the conclusions that they did today, but 17 families did not receive justice,” said Fred Guttenberg, who lost his 14-year-old daughter Jaime.

The shooter, who The Daily Wire will not name, was in the penalty phase of his trial, having pleaded guilty to seventeen counts of murder last year.
