WATCH: Former Fox News Host Trashes Network for Being ‘Woke’

By Mediate. Newsmax host Eric Bolling used his opening monologue while filling in for Greg Kelly on Newsmax Friday night to take a shot at Fox News, his former employer.

Bolling suggested the network had gone “woke” because its on-air talent stopped criticizing Major League Baseball’s decision to move its All Star game from Atlanta to Denver. MLB made the decision after Georgia enacted a restrictive voting law, which detractors say is designed to suppress the vote of racial minorities.

Newsmax Trashes Fox News for Being ‘Woke’ as Right-Wing Cable TV Wars Escalate

By Raw Story. Former Fox News personality Eric Bolling blasted his former network for being “woke” on Friday night.

The network parted ways with Bolling in 2017 after an investigation of reports of sexual harassment by the conservative host.

“Speaking of blowing woke smoke, I have to call attention to Fox News,” he said.

“They seem to hate the ‘woke’ cancel culture agenda as much as I do, but do they really?” he asked. (Read more from “Newsmax Trashes Fox News for Being ‘Woke’ as Right-Wing Cable TV Wars Escalate” HERE)

Wikipedia Co-Founder: Site’s Commitment to Neutrality Is ‘Long Gone’

An article about Wikipedia published last Thursday on the Fox News website examined the left-wing bias of the online encyclopedia. Larry Sanger, co-founder of Wikipedia, stated in an interview for the article: “The days of Wikipedia’s robust commitment to neutrality are long gone.” Fox also interviewed economics professor Bryan Caplan regarding the slanted coverage of communism and socialism on their Wikipedia pages, notably the omission of atrocities carried out by communist governments.

Fox cited other critics of the site and its biased handling of left-wing ideologies. Sanger previously published a blog post criticizing Wikipedia for its left-wing bias, declaring the site’s neutrality policy “dead” due to bias.

In the Fox piece by Maxim Lott, Wikipedia is noted as having received less scrutiny than the other Big Tech firms. However, the piece further notes these tech firms, such as Google, also rely heavily on the site and Wikipedia itself is one of the most popular sites globally. The report follows this by reporting: “critics – including Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger – tell Fox News that many Wikipedia pages have become merely left-wing advocacy essays.”

Sanger is quoted by Fox as stating: “Wikipedia’s ideological and religious bias is real and troubling, particularly in a resource that continues to be treated by many as an unbiased reference work.” Sanger also told Fox “the deck is too stacked on Wikipedia for it to ever be salvaged” and he has instead focused on helping facilitate the spread of alternative online encyclopedias through his Encyclosphere project. Those efforts are complicated by Big Tech’s reliance on Wikipedia in their campaign against “fake news” online in keeping with messaging suggested to Wikipedia’s owners by a public relations firm run by the Clinton Foundation’s Head of Communications.

Fox News cites the Wikipedia articles on socialism and communism as examples of leftist bias. While both delve into leftist theory, they also covered each ideology’s history almost completely ignoring the brutality and authoritarianism of many proclaimed socialist or communist regimes. Regarding the Soviet Union, one section states Soviet rule “saw some of the most significant technological achievements of the 20th century” with only a brief mention of “the excesses of Stalin’s regime” not mentioning the famines and mass-killings it entailed. On Asia, Mao’s reign in China is essentially unmentioned, while mentioning Indonesia’s Suharto killing hundreds of thousands to suppress leftists. Washington Post: Blacklist Fox News ‘As We Do with Foreign Terrorist Groups’

In a Monday op-ed, the Washington Post called on heavyweight telecommunications corporations to shut down conservative cable news outlets including Fox News, One America News, and Newsmax TV, comparing the need to do so with that of shutting down foreign terrorist influencers.

The essay, penned by prominent Trump critic Max Boot, a Post columnist and CNN global affairs analyst, begins by explaining how merely holding the president accountable for “his role in inciting this violent insurrection” is “insufficient.”

“There is a whole infrastructure of incitement that will remain intact even after Trump leaves office,” Boot writes. “Just as we do with foreign terrorist groups, so with domestic terrorists: We need to shut down the influencers who radicalize people and set them on the path toward violence and sedition.”

The essay then heaps praise on the recent purging of conservative voices on social media platforms by tech giants, hoping that broadcast media will follow suit.

“Anyone who cherishes our democracy should be grateful to the management of Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites for their newfound sense of social responsibility,” the op-ed reads. “We should expect at least the same level of responsibility from broadcast media — and in particular from Fox News, which has the largest reach on the right.” (Read more from “Washington Post: Blacklist Fox News ‘As We Do with Foreign Terrorist Groups’” HERE)

Fox News Just Made Another Horrible Decision Regarding Their 2020 Election Coverage

Are you kidding me? Did Fox News really just do that to White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany? Host Neil Cavuto cut away from her presser about voter fraud and the effort to count every legal vote in this election. That apparently was triggering or not appropriate for Mr. Cavuto. He cut away. This comes after the network was first to call Arizona for Joe Biden, who by the way, hasn’t won the state yet.

Fox News Host Blasts ‘Corrupt’ Media for Downplaying Cannon Hinnant Murder

By Daily Caller. Fox News host Jesse Watters ripped the media as “corrupt” for downplaying or refusing to cover the murder of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant.

Darius Sessoms, 25, was charged with first-degree murder after allegedly shooting Hinnant in front of his two sisters as he was riding his bike in Wilson, North Carolina last week.

During a Saturday night “Watters’ World” monologue, Watters argued that the media’s lack of coverage of cases like this along with overcovering other types of violence is “done to divide us for votes.”

“There was no coverage on ABC, NBC or ‘CBS Evening News’,” Watters said after describing the known details of the case so far. “Or on primetime on CNN and MSNBC. The question is why? Racial violence always leads the news in American media. But this shooting is being buried.” (Read more from “Fox News Host Blasts ‘Corrupt’ Media for Downplaying Cannon Hinnant Murder” HERE)

‘What About This Boy?’: Nancy Grace Draws Attention To Cannon Hinnant’s Fatal Shooting

By Daily Caller. Fox Nation host Nancy Grace lamented what she saw to be the lack of media coverage of the murder of 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant during a Friday night segment of Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Darius Sessoms, a 25-year-old Wilson, North Carolina man, was charged with first-degree murder after allegedly shooting Hinnant in front of his two sisters as he was riding his bike. Sessoms and Hinnant’s father were neighbors and reportedly had dinner together the day before.

Alluding to the race of the victim and alleged perpetrator, Fox News host Tucker Carlson asked,”[W]hy haven’t the media covered this story? What about it don’t they like?” . . .

“When you put the picture up just then of Cannon, he was five years old,” Grace said, “He was set to start kindergarten this week. I think back on my children, they went to kindergarten and what a big day it was and now he’s gone forever. And you’re right, this case has not been covered and I wonder why too.”

“I don’t think you should draw broad societal conclusions from a single horrific crime,” Carlson said. “The media specializes obviously in that and some of those conclusions are misleading if not lies. But to ignore something completely — and they ignore murders, by the way, every day on the south side of Chicago as well — you really get the feeling that news coverage is guided purely by political imperatives, purely.” (Read more from “‘What About This Boy?’: Nancy Grace Draws Attention to Cannon Hinnant’s Fatal Shooting” HERE)

2020 Dem Calls out DNC for Declining Fox News Invite to Host Debate

Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang is criticizing the decision made by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) not to allow Fox News to host any of its presidential primary debates.

“One thing I think Democrats should do,” Yang began, “I think we should go on Fox News and talk to the American people because how can you win an election and bring the people together when you won’t talk to 40 or 50 percent of the population?”

Yang’s comments set him apart from most of his fellow Democratic rivals who, instead of seeking to bring the country together, are moving further and further to the left in an effort to woo Democratic primary voters.

“And this is something I would say as critical of the DNC,” Yang added. “You know these DNC debates that have been going on? You’ve probably caught them by accident. There was a decision early on in the process where Fox News said, ‘we’d like to host a DNC debate.’ And to me, if you’re the DNC, you jump at that. You’re like, ‘let me show my candidates to people who generally watch Fox News.’ But the DNC turned it down! I was like, what are you doing?”

Fox News Host Has an Idea of Whose Behind the Whistleblower Complaint

During Friday’s episode of “The Five” on Fox News, Geraldo Rivera made an interesting prediction: he believes a group like Media Matters is behind the whistleblower complaint that has lead to the House formally announcing an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. . . .

“And that’s the issue,” Katie Pavlich replied. “If they had released the complaint that the Intelligence Committee in the House and Senate received, without the transcript, people would believe the complaint over the transcript. So you release the transcript and hope people can look at it and know exactly what was said. But the timing here now comes into question, because the complaint is dated August 12, 2019 and Adam Schiff claims he only got it this week. Elise Stefanik, who sits on the same committee in the House, saying yesterday that not only should he not be making stuff up but then pointing out, how long did he have this complaint and why didn’t he share it with the committee? Because they were only given two hours to look at the complaint, so obviously, it’s political.” . . .

“Half a dozen U.S. officials that are named in the complaint, well, who are those people? Can they bring them up and say why didn’t you file a whistleblower report if this was that important?,” Pavlich explained. “And also, who’s behind the writing of the complaint? This is not just an email that someone sent as a ‘Hey, I have information, I need to meet with you.’ It’s very clearly written by a lawyer or a team of lawyers and possibly a research team.”

“I bet this can be traced, ultimately, and I’m not accusing, but a group like Media Matters, is in the air, with their dirty hands,” Rivera said. (Read more from “Fox News Host Has an Idea of Whose Behind the Whitstleblower Complaint” HERE)

Fox News Civil War: Tucker Carlson Repeatedly Mocks ‘Daytime Host’ Shepard Smith in Jawdropping Segment (VIDEO)

The war of words between Fox News personalities over Trump’s actions on Ukraine ratcheted up another notch as primetime host Tucker Carlson repeatedly mocked Shepard Smith and parodied the latter’s claim calling him “repugnant.”

The network’s increasingly nasty back-and-forth was ignited two days ago when Fox News legal analyst, former Judge Andrew Napolitano, blasted Trump’s acknowledgement that he solicited help from the Ukrainian president in investigating potential 2020 rival Joe Biden, unequivocally telling Smith that Trump’s actions constituted “a crime.”

This claim drew a strong rebuttal hours later on Carlson’s show from stridently pro-Trump lawyer Joe diGenova, who fired back at Napolitano, dismissing him as a “fool.” This volley was then returned on Wednesday by Smith, who called diGenova a “partisan guest” and decried as “repugnant “ the previous attacks on Napolitano. . .

After running the clip of Smith’s “repugnant” comment, Carlson sarcastically over-enunciated the word in reply. “Not clear if that was you or me but someone is repugnant!” he said, before reiterating his doubts about Napolitano’s claim Trump committed a crime. . .

“Why do we find our selves in a situation where people aren’t willing to admit that their passions are guiding their news coverage?” Carlson then asked, again not-so-subtly trashing Smith. “Wouldn’t it be better if we just said out loud you know this is what I think? For example you will never hear me criticize Rachel Maddow. I never agree with anything she says. But she is straightforward, it’s her opinion. Why wouldn’t it be better if we were all that transparent about what’s driving our shows?” (Read more from “Fox News Civil War: Tucker Carlson Repeatedly Mocks ‘Daytime Host’ Shepard Smith in Jawdropping Segment” HERE)

Trump Lashes out at Gay Shepard Smith, Says Fake News CNN Is Better, OANN Is Best

President Trump on Wednesday renewed his criticism of Fox News anchor Shepard Smith, arguing that “Fake News CNN is better” and saying that he now tunes in to the conservative news outlet One America News Network whenever he gets the chance.

“Watching Fake News CNN is better than watching Shepard Smith, the lowest rated show on @FoxNews,” Trump tweeted on a day when he visited first responders and survivors of mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. “Actually, whenever possible, I turn to [One America News Network]!”

It was not immediately clear what Trump’s tweet — which came during Smith’s daily program and while Trump was aboard Air Force One to El Paso — was referencing. . .

Trump has repeatedly denounced the media during his presidency, often referring to it as “fake news” and the “enemy of the people.” But he has consistently praised Fox News and network hosts such as Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson. He has taken a different view of Smith, though. . .

Smith has consistently taken a critical view of Trump during his two-plus years in the White House. Among other things, he fact-checked Trump’s prime-time address on border security in January during his daily news program. Trump Accuser Makes Explosive Confession About What She Did to Former Fox News CEO

Advice columnist E. Jean Carroll, the latest woman to accuse President Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, admitted in a recent interview with Vanity Fair that she once sexually harassed former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes.

At the time of the harassment, Carroll hosted a show on TV network America’s Talking, the predecessor to MSNBC. Ailes was president of the network.

“Oh, I did it. Every day I had a chance,” she admitted of sexually harassing Ailes. “I call him the pearl of his sex.”

“Right on the air. I roll up my trouser legs. I would wait for the camera to come over. Then I would slowly pull up the right and then the left trouser leg. It would say Roger Ailes. I would say, ‘He’s my future husband.’ It never stopped. I’d ask him to twirl for me,” Carroll said. . .

Meanwhile, Carroll claimed in an interview with the New York Times this week that she has “not been raped.”
