To Protest Georgia’s New Voting Law, Hollywood Film Shifts Production To A State With Stricter Laws

. . .Apple is reportedly pulling up stakes and moving its production of a motion picture starring Will Smith out of the state, taking revenue and jobs with it. The impetus, of course, is the voting law that Democrats and activists have mischaracterized and distorted beyond recognition. The horse is out of Stacey Abrams’ barn, and she can’t cajole it back inside. The Left built this:

Will Smith and director Antoine Fuqua will no longer shoot the movie “Emancipation” in Georgia, citing a controversial new voting law. The Apple Inc. production, in which Smith stars as a real-life fugitive from slavery who became famous for a photograph of his whip-scarred back, was set to start filming in Georgia on June 21, according to a joint statement Monday. The director and actor called the voting law “regressive” and said it’s “designed to restrict voter access.” “Emancipation” is the first major project to publicly break from the state, a popular filming destination because of its tax incentives and studio space. The move may inspire others to take a similar course of action…“The new Georgia voting laws are reminiscent of voting impediments that were passed at the end of Reconstruction to prevent many Americans from voting,” Fuqua’s Fuqua Films and Smith’s Westbrook Inc. said in the statement. “Regrettably, we feel compelled to move our film production work from Georgia to another state.” Georgia’s new voting law requires voters to provide a state-issued identification card when requesting an absentee ballot and limits drop boxes, among other restrictions.

According to the Washington Post, the film will now shoot on location in Louisiana, where voting laws are stricter than in Georgia, in multiple ways. Louisiana also requires photo identification to cast ballots (again, a very popular proposition), permits slightly less than half the number of early voting days as Georgia now does (though still more than the zero days allowed in Joe Biden’s deep blue Delaware), and does not allow no-excuse absentee voting (just like Chuck Schumer’s deep blue New York). Take a bow, Apple, Will Smith, and Georgia Democrats. You’ve struck quite a blow for justice, or whatever. Biden Warns Georgia To ‘Smarten Up’ Over New Voting Law

President Joe Biden sided with woke businesses like Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines in their criticism of Georgia’s new voting law on Tuesday, telling the Peach State it needs to “smarten up” and “stop it” or else risk losing more business.

The president — who was caught last week telling an outright whopper of a lie about the new election reform measure — continued to pillory the law while speaking with reporters on Tuesday, again wrongly branding it the “new Jim Crow.”

When a reporter asked whether the famed professional golf tournament “The Masters” should move out of Georgia in protest, Biden said, “I think that’s up to the Masters,” before launching into an offensive about the law.

“Look, you know, it is reassuring to see that for-profit operations and businesses are speaking up about how these new Jim Crow laws are just antithetical to who we are,” he said. . .

“I think it’s a very tough decision for a corporation to make or a group to make, but I respect it when they make that judgment, and I support whatever judgment they make,” he continued. “But it’s — the best way to deal with this is for Georgia and other states to smarten up. By WND. A website called Stop Corporate Tyranny has been launched by a center-right coalition that aims to help citizens combat “the Left’s weaponization of corporate America against traditional beliefs and values.”

“Stop Corporate Tyranny is a one-stop shop for educational resources exposing the Left’s nearly completed takeover of corporate America, along with resources and tools for everyday Americans to fight back against the Left’s woke and censoring mob in the corporate lane,” the website states.

The promoters of the site say they aim to “dissuade corporations from engaging in activities that undermine free enterprise, individual liberty, limited government, free speech and the rule of law.”

“Companies must instead return to their primary role — as fiduciaries for their investors. We seek to restore a healthy understanding of, and respect for, liberty, free enterprise and American culture all of which is being corrupted by corporate oligarchs.”

The site offers activism campaigns in which citizens can engage. One of the latest responds to the corporations headquartered in Georgia that are opposing a law enacting new election-integrity safeguards. Jen Psaki Claims Joe Biden Wanted To Support Baseball Players, Not Lead Boycott Of Georgia

By Breitbart. White House press secretary Jen Psaki struggled Monday to clarify comments President Joe Biden made supporting Major League Baseball’s (MLB) decision to move the All-Star game from Atlanta to protest Georgia’s new election security laws.

President Biden told ESPN Wednesday he “strongly supported” the idea of moving the All-Star game out of Atlanta before MLB made the decision to pull the game. . .

But on Monday, Psaki tried to dodge responsibility for the boycott, suggesting the president was only trying to support MLB players.

“He was not dictating for what Major League Baseball should do, that they should — dictating they should move the All-Star game,” she said. “That was their decision, they made that decision, and as he stated earlier he certainly supports that.”

Disturbing Easter Message: U.S. Senator Claims ‘We Are Able To Save Ourselves’

U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., a former pastor, said in a now-deleted tweet that “the meaning of Easter is more transcendent” than the resurrection of Jesus.

“Whether you are Christian or not, through a commitment to helping others we are able to save ourselves,” he wrote. . .

Christianity is distinguished from other religions in its belief that salvation is a gift of God, through Jesus’ payment of the penalty for sin. And it’s the resurrection of Jesus from the dead that verifies that claim.

Retired Desert Storm veteran Samuel Williams reacted to Warnock’s tweet: “What kind of Reverend would say something like this. Jesus Christ died and then rose again to take the sins of the world away. You are poisoning the minds of Christians for political purposes.”

Questions the Media Should Ask President Biden About His Call for Economic Sanctions on Georgia

Given that the United States President has, for the first time in American history, called for an economic boycott and economic sanctions of a member state over dutifully and legally passed legislation, a reader passed along questions he’d like to see the White House press ask of the administration they claim to cover. The questions refer to President Joe Biden’s call for an economic boycott of Georgia over its decision to pass SB202, which will put into place mild election integrity reforms.

Q: Seeing that over the past year, almost 50 percent of small, black-owned business in America have closed for good and seeing how African Americans make up 55 percent of Atlanta, 54 percent of Savannah, and 55 percent of Augusta (where The Masters is played), does President Biden still think calling for an economic boycott and punishment by private companies on all Georgia citizens is a good idea? And will he now call for boycotts of The Masters, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Hawks along with UGA & GA Tech. football? Why or why not?

Q: Does President Biden keep a list of other pieces of state and local legislation of which he does not approve? And over the next few years, if any of that legislation happens to pass and is signed into law, will he always publicly call for an economic boycott/sanctions by private companies so he may punish the local population for what he personally decides are their errors?

Q: Moving forward, should state and local municipalities brief and ask for approval by President Biden on legislation they are considering, so they may avoid the President of the United States actively pressing and pushing for an economic boycott/sanctions from private companies that would hurt the entire local population? President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats and leftists have made no bones about their hatred for Georgia’s new voting law, which Republican Gov. Brian Kemp signed last week. . .

Activists are pushing the league to move the All-Star game out of Atlanta — and they’ve got President Biden’s support. . .

MLBPA executive director Tony Clark reportedly said he “would look forward” to discussions regarding punishing the city over the new voting law by moving the game out of state. . .

“I think today’s professional athletes are acting incredibly responsibly,” Biden began. “I would strongly support them doing that.”

“People look to them; they’re leaders,” he continued, pointing to the social justice movements and woke culture that have dominated professional sports over the last few years. “Look at what happened with the NBA, as well. Look what’s happened across the board. Democrats Oppose Requiring IDs for Voting but Want You to Carry a Vaccine Passport; Racist? Majority of Blacks Support Voter ID

By The Federalist. Democrats largely oppose Georgia’s new election law requiring voter identification for absentee ballots because it is “racist,” but some are encouraging the creation of a “vaccine passport” despite vaccine hesitancy in black communities.

The Biden administration is reportedly working with undisclosed private tech companies to create vaccine passes for Americans to use as proof that they are immunized against COVID-19 in order to gain access to certain services that require vaccination. Some elected officials such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis have already taken swift action to denounce the proposed passports, citing privacy concerns and the risk that Americans will be forced to do something they oppose in exchange for participation in “normal society.”

These concerns, however, have not stopped at least 17 other initiatives by organizations such as the World Health Organization and IBM from pushing for the collection of people’s vaccination information to “return to normal” at the same time a Democrat-led outrage against Georgia’s newest election laws requiring voter IDs continues.

Racist? Nearly 70% of Blacks Support Voter ID

By WND. Democrats, contending laws requiring voters to present photo ID amount to discriminatory “suppression” of the black vote, are pushing legislation in the Senate that would gut state voter ID laws.

But a new Rasmussen national telephone and online survey finds that 69% of likely black voters and 75% overall believe voters should be required to show photo identification such as a driver’s license before being allowed to vote.

Only 21% are opposed to such a requirement.

Rasmussen noted that 36 states have enacted some form of voter ID law. However, those laws would be nullified if the Senate approves HR1, which passed the House on a party-line vote. . .

Mainstream Media Misquoted Trump in Notorious Election Fraud Phone Call with Georgia Investigator

The Wall Street Journal first published audio last week of the roughly six-minute call on Dec. 23 between Trump and Frances Watson, the chief investigator of the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, in which Trump urged her to look for fraud in mail-in ballots in Fulton County, where much of Atlanta is located.

Indeed, Trump can be heard telling Watson, who was in the middle of conducting an audit of voting results in Cobb County, that he won the 2020 election and that she would be “praised” when the “right answer comes out.” He also insisted “something bad happened.”

In response to Trump, the investigator said: “I can assure you that our team and the [Georgia Bureau of Investigation], that we are only interested in the truth and finding the information that is based on the facts.”

However, the audio shows that early reports in January about that call, based on anonymous sourcing, misquoted Trump. In those reports, Trump was quoted as urging Watson to “find the fraud,” and if she did so, the investigator would be a “national hero.”

Outlets such as CNN published these quotes, corroborating what was first reported by the Washington Post. Georgia’s New Democrat Senator Is Under Investigation for Voter Registration Fraud

Georgia’s newly minted Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock is under investigation for voter registration fraud which allegedly took place during his work with far-left activist Stacey Abrams. Forbes has the story:

The Georgia State Election Board voted unanimously Wednesday to move forward with an investigation of U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) for his role serving as board chairman of a voter registration organization founded by Stacey Abrams that election officials say failed to follow deadlines, in what appears to be the latest legal step in the ongoing feud between the progressive Abrams and the state’s Republican election officials.

Warnock served as chairman of the board for the New Georgia Project in 2019 when election officials claim misconduct took place.

Under Georgia election rules, voting registration organizations like the New Georgia Project have to submit completed voter applications within 10 days they are received from the voter.

Franklin Graham: ‘God’s Judgment Is Coming. We Are in Trouble’

After the election of Joe Biden, who supports the killing of the unborn almost without limit, voters in Georgia apparently have given two Senate seats to Democrats who are part of a “demonic-driven abortion agenda,” says evangelist Franklin Graham.

Consequently, he warned Wednesday, “God’s judgment is coming.”

“The votes are in, but is the election over? I have no clue,” he wrote on Facebook. “I guess we just have to wait and see. But I do know that we need to pray for our nation.

“We are in trouble,” he said. “I believe God’s judgment is coming, for the sins of our nation are great and they are a stench in the nostrils of our Creator.”
