Prison Pals: Epstein Accomplice Strikes up ‘Killer’ Friendship With Notorious Inmate

Convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has become prison pals with notorious killer Narcy Novack who murdered her rich husband and her mother-in-law in a bid to get her hands on their estate, according to a new report.

The 60-year-old disgraced British socialite was sentenced to 20 years in federal lockup in June for procuring teenage girls for late financier Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse.

Since her transfer to the low-security prison FCI Tallahassee in Florida, she’s struck up a friendship with Novack, who was convicted in the double slaying of her hotel heir husband, Ben Novack Jr. and her mother-in-law, Bernice Novack.

Maxwell and Narcy Novack allegedly bonded over their privilege as wealthy, White women, who shared the gilded lifestyle of multimillionaires before becoming inmates, the Daily Mirror reported.

“Once inside, Ghislaine gravitated toward Narcy,” a source told the British newspaper. ‘Together, they spend hours talking, laughing and joking.” (Read more from “Prison Pals: Epstein Accomplice Strikes up ‘Killer’ Friendship With Notorious Inmate” HERE)

Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced for Sex Crimes; Victims Say Her Apology ‘Doesn’t Cut It’

Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Sex Trafficking Minor Girls for Jeffrey Epstein

By CNN. Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison Tuesday for carrying out a years-long scheme with her longtime confidante Jeffrey Epstein to groom and sexually abuse underage girls.

Maxwell, 60, did not testify in her defense during the trial late last year, which ended with her conviction on five counts, including sex trafficking of a minor. But on Tuesday she spoke in court to the victims shortly before the sentence was handed down.

“Jeffrey Epstein should have been here before all of you,” Maxwell said at the podium, her legs shackled. “It is not about Epstein, ultimately. It is for me to be sentenced.”

Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend, acknowledged that she had been convicted in the sex trafficking scheme but stopped short of taking responsibility. (Read more from “Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Sex Trafficking Minor Girls for Jeffrey Epstein” HERE)

Ghislaine Maxwell’s Victims Say Her Apology ‘Doesn’t Cut It’ as She’s Sentenced to 20 Years for Sex Trafficking

By New York Post. Ghislaine Maxwell’s victims said the convicted sex trafficker’s apology “doesn’t cut it” — as her attorney pledged to appeal her 20-year sentence handed down Tuesday.

Maxwell, 60, had bashed her former partner-in-crime Jeffrey Epstein as “manipulative” ahead of her sentencing in Manhattan federal court, adding she hoped her “harsh incarceration” would bring the victims closure.

“I wish she was sorry when she was busy forcing me into a room to be raped. She should have been sorry then,” accuser Sarah Ramsome later told reporters outside of the courthouse.

“As a matter of fact, there shouldn’t even be an apology. Rape is rape.”

Ransome, 37, had given a tearful victim’s impact statement saying she endured years of mental anguish and twice tried to kill herself after months of abuse. (Read more from “Ghislaine Maxwell’s Victims Say Her Apology ‘Doesn’t Cut It’ as She’s Sentenced to 20 Years for Sex Trafficking” HERE)

Lawyers: Inmate Claims She Was ‘Offered Money’ to Murder Ghislaine Maxwell

Lawyers for Ghislaine Maxwell claim that her cellmate alleges she was offered financial compensation to kill the disgraced British socialite.

Global News reports:

Maxwell’s lawyers provided details of the alleged death threat in a pre-sentencing report Wednesday. They also made the case that Maxwell suffered an abusive upbringing, which made her vulnerable to Epstein’s influence, in arguing for leniency in her sentencing. Her lawyers wrote: “One of the female inmates in Ms. Maxwell’s housing unit told at least three other inmates that she had been offered money to murder Ms. Maxwell and that she planned to strangle her in her sleep.”

Maxwell was convicted of helping to recruit teenage girls for Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse between 1994 and 2004. Her sentencing is slated for June 28 and she faces up to 55 years in prison. (Read more from “Lawyers: Inmate Claims She Was ‘Offered Money’ to Murder Ghislaine Maxwell” HERE)

Ghislaine Maxwell Prosecutors Demand Her Retrial Request Be Public

Prosecutors in the sex trafficking trial of Ghislaine Maxwell told the judge on Friday that her request for a retrial must be made public.

“The government respectfully submits that the defendant has not justified her sealing request and, accordingly, the defense motion and its exhibits should be publicly docketed,” prosecutors told Manhattan federal court judge Alison Nathan.

Maxwell filed the request for a new trial under seal last month.

The former girlfriend of late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was convicted in December on five of six counts, including transportation of a minor with intent to engage in illegal sexual activity and the most serious charge against her, sex trafficking of a minor.

Now, however, Maxwell’s defense team is requesting a new trial after a juror said in media interviews that he was personally a victim of child sexual abuse, a fact he may not have disclosed during jury selection. Prince Andrew Likely Dated Ghislaine, Pal and Ex-Royal Guard Claim

Prince Andrew may have once dated Ghislaine Maxwell, according to friends and a former royal protection officer who claims Jeffrey Epstein’s madam was constantly “in and out” of Buckingham Palace.

Former palace cop Paul Page said in a new documentary that Maxwell became a regular visitor from 2001, the year Andrew and his sex accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, were photographed in Maxwell’s London home.

“From the way she was allowed to enter and exit the palace at will, we realized — suspected — that she may have had an intimate relationship with Prince Andrew,” Page said.

“A colleague of mine remembered her coming in four times in one day. She kept coming in and out, in and out,” he told the doc, “Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Pedophile,” set to air on Britain’s ITV in full on Tuesday.

A banker friend of Maxwell’s who socialized with the now-disgraced group shared the sentiment. (Read more from “Prince Andrew Likely Dated Ghislaine, Pal and Ex-Royal Guard Claim” HERE)

Report: Ghislaine Maxwell’s Husband Dumped Her Over Phone Call

Ghislaine Maxwell’s husband reportedly informed her that he was leaving her during a phone call while Maxwell was in solitary confinement, a close friend of the convicted sex trafficker said.

Maxwell’s friend told the Daily Mail that Scott Borgerson, 46, broke up with Maxwell on the phone while she was being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center.

“There was a dramatic phone call between them, while she was in jail in solitary confinement. It became confrontational,” the friend told the outlet. “Scott told her he had moved on and was seeing someone else.” . . .

Another anonymous source noted to the Daily Mail that Borgerson did not attend Maxwell’s trial. (Read more from “Report: Ghislaine Maxwell’s Husband Dumped Her Over Phone Call” HERE)

Unearthed Interview Reveals How Ghislaine Maxwell Helped Kill Vanity Fair Exposé

Ghislaine Maxwell savaged a Vanity Fair reporter nearly 20 years ago to help bury an exposé of her sex crimes — while claiming pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was generous and “very, very good” to his accusers, according to a newly released transcript of her rare interview.

Maxwell, now 60, did not testify during her sex-trafficking trial, in which her legal team insisted she was an innocent scapegoat for the “bad behavior” of Epstein, her late ex and longtime companion.

But she did speak out in 2002 — in a fiery interview that, like the planned exposé, never ran in Vanity Fair. Instead, the mag published a flattering puff piece titled “The Talented Mr. Epstein.”

Reporter Vicky Ward said it was her “eternal regret” that the magazine did not run the accusations by Maria Farmer and her sister Annie, whose testimony was key in Maxwell’s conviction this week.

Ward finally posted the full exchange with Maxwell on her Substack Thursday — saying it showed the disgraced British socialite “lied to me about not giving Annie Farmer a massage” and also repeatedly hailed Epstein’s “generosity” to his accusers. After Ghislaine Maxwell Guilty Verdict, Is Prince Andrew Next?; Prince Andrew Defense: Accuser Cannot Sue Because She Isn’t in U.S.

By AP. Prince Andrew wasn’t on trial in the Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking case, but her conviction is bad news for the man who is ninth in line to the British throne.

With the conclusion of the Maxwell case, attention will now turn to a U.S. civil suit in which the plaintiff alleges Maxwell and long-time boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein took her to London, New York and the U.S. Virgin Islands to have sex with Andrew when she was underage.

Andrew denies the allegations, but Wednesday’s verdict shows that at least one American jury was willing to believe the young women trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell in a criminal case, where the standard of proof is higher than in civil cases. Prince Andrew Defense: Accuser Cannot Sue Because She Isn’t in U.S.

By AP. A lawsuit by an American who claims Prince Andrew sexually abused her when she was 17 might have to be thrown out because she no longer lives in the U.S., lawyers for the Prince said in a court filing Tuesday.

Attorneys Andrew Brettler and Melissa Lerner wrote that they recently discovered Virginia Giuffre has lived in Australia all but two of the last 19 years and cannot claim she’s a resident of Colorado, where she hasn’t lived since at least 2019. . .

The prince’s lawyers in October asked Judge Lewis A. Kaplan to throw out the lawsuit, saying the prince “never sexually abused or assaulted” Giuffre and they believed she sued Andrew “to achieve another payday at his expense and at the expense of those closest to him.” The lawyers acknowledged that Giuffre may well be a victim of sexual abuse by financier Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself in 2019 while awaiting a sex trafficking trial. Prison Conditions Could ‘Improve’ for Ghislaine Maxwell After Sentencing

The conditions of Ghislaine Maxwell’s detention could dramatically improve after she is sentenced and assigned to a federal prison following her conviction on five out of six sex trafficking charges, according to experts.

Maxwell, who was convicted on Wednesday, has been held at the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center since her arrest in July 2020. She has described conditions there as “a living hell,” claiming that she was served maggot-ridden food and had to watch as sewage and rats came into her tiny cell.

As a convicted sex offender, Maxwell will be ineligible for placement into a minimum security facility such as the Federal Prison Camp near Alderson, West Virginia—the so-called “Camp Cupcake” where Martha Stewart was detained for five months in 2005. She will instead be placed into an at least low-security prison.

Federal prison expert Justin Paperny, the founder of the prison consulting firm White Collar Advice, told Newsweek on Thursday that Maxwell will likely consider her new home an upgrade regardless of the security level. Ghislaine Maxwell Guilty: What Now?; Epstein Accusers: Conviction Provides a Measure of Justice

By AP. The British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted Wednesday of luring teenage girls to be sexually abused by the American millionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

The verdict capped a monthlong trial featuring sordid accounts of the sexual exploitation of girls as young as 14, told by four women who described being abused as teens in the 1990s and early 2000s at Epstein’s palatial homes in Florida, New York and New Mexico. . .

She faces the likelihood of years in prison — an outcome long sought by women who spent years fighting in civil courts to hold Maxwell accountable for her role in recruiting and grooming Epstein’s teenage victims and sometimes joining in the sexual abuse. Jeffrey Epstein Associate Ghislaine Maxwell Guilty on 5 of 6 Counts in Sex Trafficking Case

By ABC News. A jury has convicted Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime associate of serial sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, on five of six counts related to the abuse and trafficking of underage girls. . .

She showed no visible emotion as the jury’s verdict was read in the New York City courtroom. Following the verdict, her family members exited the courtroom without comment.

The verdict came on the sixth day of jury deliberations, after about 40 hours of deliberation.

“A unanimous jury has found Ghislaine Maxwell guilty of one of the worst crimes imaginable — facilitating and participating in the sexual abuse of children,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a statement following the verdict. “I want to commend the bravery of the girls — now grown women — who stepped out of the shadows and into the courtroom. Their courage and willingness to face their abuser made this case, and today’s result, possible.” (Read more from “Jeffrey Epstein Associate Ghislaine Maxwell Guilty on 5 of 6 Counts in Sex Trafficking Case” HERE)

Epstein Accusers Say Ghislaine Maxwell’s Conviction Provides a Measure of Justice

By New York Times. Ghislaine Maxwell, the former companion to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, was convicted on Wednesday of conspiring with him for at least a decade to recruit, groom and sexually abuse underage girls. . .

In her trial, the government called four accusers — two used pseudonyms and one only a partial name — who testified that they had been served up to Mr. Epstein to be sexually abused. Ms. Maxwell was present for some of the abuse, according to the testimony, and played a role in enticing and grooming some of the victims.

Damian Williams, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said in a statement Wednesday night: “The road to justice has been far too long. But, today, justice has been done. I want to commend the bravery of the girls — now grown women — who stepped out of the shadows and into the courtroom.” (Read more from “Epstein Accusers Say Ghislaine Maxwell’s Conviction Provides a Measure of Justice” HERE)
