Trial Day 5: This Is the Bizarre Evidence Being Used in the Maxwell Trial; Yes, Madam: ‘Very Degrading’ List of Rules for Jeffrey Epstein’s Staff Revealed in Court

By New York Post. A number of key pieces of evidence in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial were shown to jurors for the first time Friday — including a massage table and a “Twin Torpedo” sex toy that were seized from Jeffrey Epstein’s Florida mansion in the early 2000s.

The massage table from the multimillionaire pedophile’s Palm Beach estate was brought into the Manhattan courtroom and briefly examined by a police officer who testified Friday.

The dark-green, collapsible table was shown to jurors as Assistant US Attorney Maruene Maurene Comey quizzed former Palm Beach Police officer Gregory Parkinson about a search warrant he and other cops executed at the estate in October 2005.

Parkinson put on black disposable gloves and briefly examined the table in the middle of the courtroom, about 10 feet from where Maxwell sat with her defense attorneys.

The disgraced socialite did not visibly react as the former investigator combed over the table for about half a minute. (Read more from “This Is the Bizarre Evidence Being Used In the Maxwell Trial” HERE)

Yes, Madam: ‘Very Degrading’ List of Rules for Jeffrey Epstein’s Staff Revealed in Court

By New York Post. Ghislaine Maxwell kept a 58-page list of rules that ordered staff at Jeffrey Epstein’s estates to “see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing” — and to always make sure the couple had a gun nearby at night.

The accused madam’s sex-trafficking trial got to see the “Maxwell Household Manual” on Thursday as former housekeeper Juan Alessi testified about the “very degrading” way staff were treated.

The 2005 manual — which was entered into evidence — showed the lengths Maxwell, the 59-year-old “lady of the house,” went to in ensuring that Epstein’s mansion in Palm Beach, Fla., was “like a five-star hotel.”

Staff needed to “anticipate the needs of Mr. Epstein, Ms. Maxwell and their guests,” stated the introduction of the manual, which made clear that disgraced media baron Robert Maxwell’s daughter was sharing the master bedroom with the perverted moneyman at the time.

“Remember that you see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing, except to answer a question directed at you,” it warned on the first page of orders. (Read more from “Yes, Madam: ‘Very Degrading’ List of Rules for Jeffrey Epstein’s Staff Revealed in Court” HERE)

Trial Day 4: Epstein’s Former Housekeeper: Ghislaine Maxwell Was ‘Lady of the House’; Jeffrey Epstein’s Little Black Book Makes Its Courtroom Debut

By New York Post. Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime housekeeper on Thursday testified that Ghislaine Maxwell was the “lady of the house” at the powerful pedophile’s Florida mansion — and that countless young women hung out there, including two who appeared to be minors.

Juan Alessi dished about working for the late financier in Palm Beach for more than a decade, telling a Manhattan jury he saw “many, many, many females” in their 20s socializing with Epstein and Maxwell, usually topless.

Alessi recalled seeing two girls who appeared to be minors over the course of his employment, which ended in 2002. He identified one of the two as “Jane,” — a Maxwell accuser who testified earlier this week — describing her as a “striking, beautiful” girl who looked to be around 14 or 15.

The other minor, Alessi said, was Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who has accused both Epstein and Maxwell of sex-trafficking her when she was a teenager.

Alessi described how Maxwell first met Giuffre in the parking lot of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, where she ordered him to stop the car so she could hop out to talk to the young blonde. (Read more from “Epstein’s Former Housekeeper: Ghislaine Maxwell Was ‘Lady of the House’” HERE)

Jeffrey Epstein’s Little Black Book Makes Its Courtroom Debut

By Slate. On day four of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, government exhibit 52 made its much anticipated debut. This is Jeffrey Epstein’s “little black book”—the telephone directory containing names and numbers for a huge roster of Epstein’s wealthy and powerful friends, and also, presumably, some of the people who’ve accused him of crimes.

The book was introduced as the prosecution’s witness Juan Alessi was on the stand. Alessi was the butler/driver/go-fer at Epstein’s Palm Beach house from around 1991 until 2002. He described the decadent atmosphere around the mansion, which he said was run “like a five-star hotel.” He was expected to keep wads of hundred dollar bills stocked in each of Epstein’s cars at all times. He said there were many women who hung around Epstein’s pool, and that they were topless “75-80 percent of the time.” He said Maxwell, who he called the “lady of the house,” took many photos of these topless women, and displayed them in frames on her desk there. He also said it was obvious that Maxwell was in charge of running the household. And she slept in Epstein’s bedroom, with Epstein. . .

A lot of these details were vital to the prosecution’s case. But for the story beyond the story—the curiosity around Jeffrey Epstein, how he got his wealth, what he knew about his famous friends—the little black book was the real object of interest. A prosecutor took it out of its own dedicated accordion file, handed it around for the defense team and judge to inspect, and then brought it up to Alessi on the witness stand. He identified it as the kind of address book that would be at Epstein’s house, and he said he recognized many of the entries.

Before the start of the trial, NPR reported that prosecutors say the information in the book “will help establish who and what Maxwell knew—including ‘an inference that the defendant knew that at least some of these individuals were minors.’” But we got no juicy details from the little black book today. No boldface names. It’s possible we never will. The prosecution seems to want to put a heavily redacted version of it into evidence. There were long sidebar arguments about what could be admitted, and why. As the lawyers jawed at each other, Alessi, still on the stand, just casually flipped through the book’s pages, perusing them with interest. First Accuser Testifies at Ghislaine Maxwell Trial; Epstein’s Former Pilot Testifies High Profile Politicians Flew Aboard Epstein’s Private Plane

By New York Post. A woman who says she was sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein testified on Tuesday that Ghislaine Maxwell helped lure her into his orbit when she was just 14 and described how the depraved duo were “giggling” when they first molested her together.

The alleged victim, an actress identified by the pseudonym “Jane” in court, said she was at Epstein’s Palm Beach, Florida, mansion in 1994 when the pedophile and his accused madam led her upstairs to his bedroom, moved her over to the bed and “took their clothes off.”

“They started to sort of like fondle each other,” she said, adding that they were “casually giggling” as she stood there.

“He asked me to take my top off,” the witness continued. “Then there were hands everywhere and Jeffrey proceeded to masturbate again. And Ghislaine was like rubbing on him, kissing on him.”

Other times, Jane said the sick pair would lead her to a massage table inside a room at the house and show her how Epstein liked to be rubbed down. (Read more from “First Accuser Testifies at Ghislaine Maxwell Trial” HERE)

Epstein’s Former Pilot Testifies Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Prince Andrew Flew Aboard Epstein’s Private Plane

By CNN. Jeffrey Epstein’s former pilot testified in Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex trafficking trial Tuesday that a who’s who of powerful men, including former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, flew aboard Epstein’s private plane.

The pilot, Larry Visoski, said he would typically be given notice if Clinton or high-profile passengers like him would be flying.

He recalled renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman flew to Michigan with Epstein for the Interlochen Center for the Arts summer camp. He said he remembered Prince Andrew, Maine Sen. George Mitchell, Ohio Sen. John Glenn and actor Kevin Spacey on flights.

He also said he’d fly Epstein to Columbus, Ohio, where Epstein also had property, to see billionaire businessman Les Wexner. Epstein referred to Wexner as his client but Visoski said he believed them to be friends as well. Ghislaine Maxwell Was Part of Epstein Orgies, Says First Accuser in Trial

By Fox News. An alleged victim of Ghislaine Maxwell took the stand this Tuesday to say that Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused her several times when she was as young as 14 years old and that some of the times one or more women participated.

Questioned about who took part more frequently, “Jane” answered: “Ghislaine Maxwell,” adding that the defendant would also touch her at times, “mainly” her “breasts.” . . .

As a survivor of sexual assault, the woman is testifying under the pseudonym “Jane.” She is one of the “minor victims” in the government’s case and the first of four women to take the stand. “Jane” is a former model, singer and soap opera actress.

“Jane” recalled meeting Maxwell and Epstein in 1994 at the age of 14 at Interlochen Summer Arts Camp, a prestigious arts academy in Michigan. The accuser said her father had recently died from leukemia and that afterwards, the family went into bankruptcy. The pair approached her at camp and realized that she also lived in Palm Beach, Florida. They asked for her mother’s phone number and later would invite them both to Epstein’s Palm Beach house.

The victim started interacting with the pair by herself on several occasions at Epstein’s residences in Florida, New Mexico and New York throughout several years, including when the victim was between 14 and 16 years old. Schoolgirl Outfits, Gifts to Teens, Sex Abuse ‘Every Day’: Feds Slam Ghislaine Maxwell on 1st Day of Trial; The Bible, ‘Manipulated’ Victims and a ‘Scapegoat’: Maxwell Lawyer Reveals Strategy

By Daily Beast. They were young girls who dreamed of becoming professional musicians, or models, or actresses—but they often came from poor families and their parents needed money. They were the perfect targets for a pair of high-society “predators” who dazzled them with fabulous wealth and promised them the world—and who then allegedly groomed, molested, and raped them.

Such was the story presented by federal prosecutors on the first day of Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial in connection to multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring. . .

The jury will hear from Epstein’s pilots, household staff, members of law enforcement, and a former employee of the multimillionaire. Evidence in the trial will include “a schoolgirl outfit,” flight logs, and FedEx records showing Epstein’s gifts to a girl who was only 15 years old. . .

Prosecutors called Maxwell Epstein’s “best friend and right hand” in court on Monday. “She preyed on vulnerable young girls, manipulated them, and served them up to be abused… That is what this trial is all about,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Lara Pomerantz. She claimed Maxwell was drawn to Epstein’s life of luxury, which included sumptuous private homes in New Mexico, New York, and Paris, a private island, private planes, and astounding wealth. Prosecutor Tells Jury Ghislaine Maxwell Groomed Minors for Epstein’s Sexual Abuse

By NBC News. The much-anticipated trial of Ghislaine Maxwell got underway Monday in New York City with a prosecutor and defense attorney painting conflicting portraits of the accused enabler of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Assistant United States Attorney Lara Pomerantz, who gave the federal prosecutors’ opening statement, said Maxwell identified and targeted vulnerable young women and then “served them up” to Epstein.

“She put them at ease and made them feel safe, all so that they could be sexually abused by a middle-aged man,” Pomerantz said. “There were times when she was in the room when it happened.”

Maxwell was no mere Epstein employee, Pomerantz said. She was “the lady of the house” who made sure that what happened behind closed doors stayed behind closed doors. And she and Epstein “had a playbook.”

“First they got access to young girls,” the prosecutor said. “Then they gained their trust.” (Read more from “Prosecutor Tells Jury Ghislaine Maxwell Groomed Minors for Epstein’s Sexual Abuse” HERE)

Ghislaine Maxwell’s Lawyer Reveals Defense Strategy: The Bible, ‘Manipulated’ Victims and a ‘Scapegoat’

By New York Post. Ghislaine Maxwell’s defense attorneys on Monday portrayed her as a scapegoat being accused because of “the bad behavior of men,” — one in particular — since prosecutors never had a chance to put late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein on trial.

Her lawyer, Bobbi Sternheim, invoked the Bible at the start of her opening statement, arguing that women have been condemned for crimes committed by men since the beginning of time.

“Ever since Eve was accused of tempting Adam with the apple,” said Sternheim. “Women have been blamed for the bad behavior of men.”

“Ghislaine is on trial here and you heard about the conduct of Jeffrey Epstein. She is filling that hole. And filling an empty chair,” said Sternheim, adding that her client was a “convenient stand-in” for the dead sex offender.

Sternheim also took aim at the four alleged victims in the case, claiming they had been taken advantage of by aggressive civil defense attorneys and, in some cases, are searching for a payday. Trial of Alleged Pedophile Ghislaine Maxwell Set to Start; Maxwell Reportedly Plans to Defend Herself on Stand

By The Hill. The trial of British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of helping her close confidant Jeffrey Epstein recruit and sexually abuse underage girls, is set to begin on Monday, more than two years after the convicted sex offender’s sudden death in prison.

Ghislaine Maxwell Ready to Take Stand to Defend Herself at Trial: Report

By New York Post. Accused child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is prepared to take the stand at her highly anticipated upcoming trial in order “to save her own life,” according to reports.

Maxwell, 59, faces life in prison if convicted of procuring underage girls as young as 14 years old for her longtime friend, Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile, between 1994 and 2004.

Sources close to the disgraced British socialite told The Daily Mail that she will take the stand to defend herself if necessary after the prosecution rests its case. Defendants in sexual abuse cases typically do not testify, instead opting to let the prosecution prove its case.

“She has never shied away from the truth and she is looking forward to her day in court,” a source told The Daily Mail.

“Ghislaine is not over-confident by any means but she knows she is telling the truth,” the source told the paper. (Read more from “Ghislaine Maxwell Ready to Take Stand to Defend Herself at Trial: Report” HERE)

Illegal Alien Stowaway Emerges From Wheel Well of Plane After Flight Lands In US (VIDEO)

A stowaway hid inside the wheel well of an American Airlines flight from Guatemala for nearly 3 hours before arriving at Miami International Airport on Saturday, according to officials.

The 26-year-old was apprehended by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol before he was transported to a local hospital for treatment, officials told the Miami Herald. The man “attempted to evade detection in the landing gear compartment of an aircraft arriving from Guatemala,” according to the agency.

Video obtained by social media account Only in Dade shows employees wearing American Airlines vests help the disheveled unsanctioned passenger sit down and offer him some water. The video shows the tiny mechanical compartment where the man — wearing jeans, a jacket and boots — had hid himself.

“Poor man. He just got here. Let him sit. Water! Bring water for him,” the person recording can be heard saying in a video in Spanish. “Are you okay? How do you feel?”

“Yeah, he survived. He survived,” one of the workers said in English while talking on a cellphone.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s Brother Spills on Family in Groundbreaking Interview

A member of the infamous Maxwell clan says you’re never gonna keep the family down.

Not even after 50 years of headline-making indignity. Not even as one of their own sits in a Brooklyn jail cell amid a seedy international sex scandal.

“This is a family that sticks together,” Ghislaine Maxwell’s older brother, Ian, said in a new interview with the Telegraph.

“Ghislaine has people who love her; people who trust her. This is a family that has been knocked down, gets up, gets knocked down again and then gets up. We are a family that fights for each other and this is a big fight we are in. We are hopeful justice will prevail as it must.”

Ghislaine Maxwell has been held for more than a year at the Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting trial on sex abuse and trafficking charges. She’s accused of horrific crimes, delivering underaged girls to child rapist Jeffrey Epstein, who later killed himself in a Manhattan jail. Judge Orders Ghislaine Maxwell to Turn over Docs Revealing Clinton Relationship

A judge has ruled that Ghislaine Maxwell must turn over documents related to her personal affairs, including records that may reveal more about her finances and her relationship with the Clintons.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, which cited court documents to report that lawyers representing Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged victims, were demanding a vast array of documents from Maxwell including “funding received from the Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation.”

Given two weeks to produce the documents, U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska also ruled that documents relating to a request for email accounts that Maxwell allegedly kept secret from the court should also be made public, the Daily Mail reported. . .

Maxwell’s tax returns, balance sheets, and financial statements for companies that she controlled were among the documents Giuffre’s lawyers sought.

“From January 2012 to the present, produce all documents concerning any source of funding for the TarraMar Project (Maxwell’s nonprofit) or any other not-for-profit entities with which you are associated, including but not limited to, funding received from the Clinton Global Initiative, the Clinton Foundation (a/k/a William J. Clinton Foundation, a/k/a/ the Bill, Hilary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation),and the Clinton Foundation Climate Change Initiative,” Preska ruled. Ghislaine Maxwell’s Lawyers Pull Bill Cosby Card

Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers are playing the Bill Cosby card– arguing the court ruling that sprung the disgraced comedian from prison backs up throwing out her sex trafficking case.

In a Friday letter to a Manhattan federal judge, the lawyers claimed that Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged madam is in a “similar situation” as Cosby because both were immunized under a deal with prosecutors when they were charged.

Cosby, 83, was freed Wednesday after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court found that prosecutors violated his rights by going back on an apparent promise not to charge him with drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004.

He was convicted in 2018 and had served nearly three years of a three- to 10-year sentence when he was released.

Lawyers for the British socialite claim that their client is similarly covered by a non-prosecution agreement that Epstein signed with federal prosecutors in Florida in 2007. (Read more from “Ghislaine Maxwell’s Lawyers Pull Bill Cosby Card” HERE)

Ghislaine Maxwell Pictured for the First Time Behind Bars — With a Bruise

An attorney for Ghislaine Maxwell on Thursday released the first photograph of the accused madam since she was arrested last summer, showing the former socialite with a wrinkly face and a bruise under her eye.

The photo of Maxwell was included in a letter filed in her Manhattan federal criminal case by her attorney Bobbi Sternheim, who wrote that the apparent injury has caused friction between her and guards at the jail, the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

“Last night, she was confronted by MDC staff due a visible bruise over her left eye,” Sternheim wrote in the letter.

“No guard addressed the bruise until Ms. Maxwell, who has no mirror, caught a reflection of her aching eye in the glean of a nail clipper. At that point, MDC staff confronted Ms. Maxwell regarding the source of the bruise, threatening to place her in the SHU if she did not reveal how she got it,” she added, referring to the special housing unit.
