DOJ Indicts Mueller Witness over Illegal Scheme to Funnel Millions to Hillary’s Campaign

That headline is about as bad as this story gets for Hillary Clinton, as additional emerging details aren’t quite as damning as one might suspect — and there’s a Trump tie-in, as well. We’ll begin with the basics. A California CEO and several others have been charged in a scheme to funnel millions in illegal campaign donations to Hillary Clinton via a Lebanese-American businessman, who showered Clinton with cash until Trump won the election, then scrambled to curry favor with the incoming administration with a major contribution to the president-elect’s (shady) inaugural fund. There’s no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of Clinton or Trump connected to this matter. From Tuesday’s Justice Department press release:

Earlier today, an indictment was unsealed against the CEO of an online payment processing company, and seven others, charging them with conspiring to make and conceal conduit and excessive campaign contributions, and related offenses, during the U.S. presidential election in 2016 and thereafter. A federal grand jury in the District of Columbia indicted Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, 48, of Los Angeles, California, on Nov. 7, 2019, along with George Nader, Roy Boulos, Rudy Dekermenjian, Mohammad “Moe” Diab, Rani El-Saadi, Stevan Hill and Thayne Whipple…According to the indictment, from March 2016 through January 2017, Khawaja conspired with Nader to conceal the source of more than $3.5 million in campaign contributions, directed to political committees associated with a candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 election. By design, these contributions appeared to be in the names of Khawaja, his wife, and his company. In reality, they allegedly were funded by Nader. Khawaja and Nader allegedly made these contributions in an effort to gain influence with high-level political figures, including the candidate. As Khawaja and Nader arranged these payments, Nader allegedly reported to an official from a foreign government about his efforts to gain influence.

How do we know the candidate in question was Hillary Clinton?

WATCH: Do Hillary’s New Remarks Mean She’s Planning a 2020 Run?

Two-time failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton continued to add fuel to the fire on Tuesday over speculation she may enter the 2020 presidential race with a new series of remarks that she made on the radio where she declined to rule out a late entry to the race.

“I, as I say, never, never, never say never,” Clinton told BBC Radio 5 Live. “I will certainly tell you, I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it.” . . .

Speculation that Clinton will enter the race has been building over the last couple of weeks with a flurry of events that have happened that have led to an avalanche of news reports on the subject.

On October 24, Philippe Reines, a longtime top adviser to Hillary Clinton, left the door open on the possibility of Clinton entering the race during an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. . .

A new Harvard-Harris poll found that in a hypothetical match-up between Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, whose campaign has been on the downtrend for a longtime, and Clinton that the two would essentially be tied in the primary race. Fox Host Asks Tulsi Gabbard If Hillary Clinton Had FBI-CIA ‘Cabal’ Target Trump in Russia Probe

2020 Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard declined to comment on whether she believes Hillary Clinton played a key role in the origins of the Russia investigation.

Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo asked the question Sunday, spinning off a feud in which Clinton said Gabbard is “a favorite of the Russians” and implied that the congresswoman is a “Russian asset” being groomed to spoil the 2020 election with a third-party run.

“Do you believe she had anything … to do with the FBI and the CIA — that cabal of people — putting Donald Trump in the story of Russia meddling in the United States?” Bartiromo asked on her Fox News show Sunday Morning Futures.

“I can’t speak to any of that,” the Hawaii Democrat said. The congresswoman did, however, slam Clinton for what she and “her proxies and minions have been putting out and trying to smear my character, reputation, and undermine my campaign.”

Much of Bartiromo’s Sunday program has been dedicated to following developments in the Justice Department investigations into the Russia probe. In speaking with Gabbard, she noted that there is “real speculation out there” that Clinton was “at the core” of the Russia investigation origins, because the 2016 presidential candidate made similar comments about Trump being in Russia’s pocket and her campaign helped fund an unverified dossier compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele used by the FBI to obtain warrants to electronically surveil Carter Page, a onetime member of Trump’s 2016 campaign. WATCH: Bill Clinton’s Possible Slip of the Tongue Keeps Door Open on Future Hillary Run

Bill Clinton, in what appeared to be an off-hand remark during an event Wednesday, added a bit more fuel to speculation about whether Hillary Clinton would consider running for president again, according to The Daily Wire.

As the Democratic primary goes on and some Democrats privately express concern about the quality of the current field of candidates, the Clinton family doesn’t seem to have totally closed the door on future political ambitions for Hillary.

“She may or may not ever run for anything, but I can’t legally run for president again,” Bill Clinton said, gesturing toward Hillary as he spoke during an event at Georgetown Law School that also included Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

It’s unclear whether Hillary Clinton is truly considering another presidential campaign, or whether she is just allowing speculation to circulate in order to court positive media attention from Democrats and voters who fear candidates like former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.), or Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) aren’t strong enough to beat President Donald Trump. Delusional? Hillary ‘Considering’ Entering 2020 Primary (VIDEO)

On the radio program Tuesday, Glenn Beck lamented the notion that twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton might actually be considering another run in 2020.

According to The Associated Press, a top aide on Clinton’s 2016 campaign has predicted that the former secretary of state “will be out on the trail in 2020,” and the New York Times reported Monday that Clinton said she “would consider entering the primary,” if she saw “an opening.”

Rolling Stone: ‘Hillary Clinton Is Nuts’

Hillary Clinton decided to use her name and allies to smear Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI). Tulsi endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2016. Clinton floated this insane theory that Rep. Gabbard was being groomed by the Russians to mount a third-party run to ensure a Trump victory in 2020. . .

While Rolling Stone suffered a knifing to the kidneys and heart over the University of Virginia rape story that turned out to be a total hoax which led to the magazine being sued and found guilty of libel, its analysis of the Russian agent paranoia that had engulfed the Democratic Party was pretty spot on. In short, the Democratic Party position on this subject is that we’re all Russian agents now. It’s ironic in two ways. First, the so-called intellectual elite, those who think that rural Americans and those without college degrees are trash, falling victim and being susceptible to digesting such tin foil hat garbage is priceless. These condescending and utterly revolting people appear to be so incapable of understanding why they lost in 2016 they’ve resorted to InfoWars-like cuckoo theories over why Trump is where he is at present. Second, remember when Democrats laughed at Mitt Romney about Russia being our biggest geopolitical foe? This was anachronistic, right? Well, post-2016, the Left has their own red scare brewing their minds, driving them insane, and leaving them spewing total insanity to the masses. The Russians were a joke in 2012, and now they’re everywhere. Oh, man—there is not enough popcorn for this show (via Rolling Stone):

Hillary Clinton is nuts. She’s also not far from the Democratic Party mainstream, which has been pushing the same line for years.

Less than a week before Clinton’s outburst, the New York Times — once a symbol of stodgy, hyper-cautious reporting — ran a feature called, “What, Exactly, is Tulsi Gabbard Up To?” The piece speculated about the “suspicious activity” surrounding Gabbard’s campaign, using quotes from the neoconservative think-tank, the Alliance For Securing Democracy, to speculate about Gabbard’s Russian support.

Hillary Clinton Swipes at Trump with Fake Letter Mocking Trump’s Missive to Erdogan

Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to mock the president about his recent letter to Turkish President Erdogan. She quoted the picture “Found in the archives….”

. . .Trump’s letter received some criticism for possibly sending mixed messages as he threatened to destroy the Turkish economy, but also ended the note by saying “I will call you later.” Hillary poked fun at this in her Tweet with a similar quote, “Give you a jingle later.”

No Surprise: Hillary Drops out of a Speaking Engagement for a Really Dumb Reason

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday backed out of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C. because Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard and former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen are also scheduled to speak, Fox News reported. Her team, however, said it was because of “scheduling conflicts.”

The announcement comes after a heated back-and-forth between Clinton and Gabbard. During a podcast interview on Friday, Clinton said Gabbard was a “Russian asset” who is being groomed to launch a third party campaign as a means of disrupting the 2020 election.

When Gabbard received word of the interview, she took to Twitter to respond, saying Clinton is “the queen of warmongers” and the “embodiment of corruption.” Gabbard also explained the former Secretary of State has it out for her because her foreign policy is the opposite of Clinton’s.

A person close to Clinton told Slate the former Secretary of State decided to drop out after hearing Nielsen is also on the schedule.

“We work with a lot of activists who are trying to do their best to improve this horrible situation down at the border,” the person said, citing Clinton’s support for asylum seekers. “At the end of the day, it’s an easy decision. You have to side with them.” (Read more from “No Surprise: Hillary Drops out of a Speaking Engagement for a Really Dumb Reason” HERE)

Hillary’s ‘Russia’ Attack Boosts Support for Tulsi Gabbard

By Breitbart. Hillary Clinton’s suggestion this past week that Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is being “groomed” by Russians to act as a spoiler in the 2020 race may have had the opposite effect of what the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee intended: It’s elevated Gabbard’s candidacy and may have inspired even more ardent interest in her campaign among Clinton critics.

On Saturday, Gabbard found fans among the many Clinton skeptics across Iowa, where Clinton barely won the 2016 Democratic caucuses against Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. . .

Robert Rodriguez, a 35-year-old food delivery driver, drove from Minneapolis to see Gabbard speak. He, too, appreciated Gabbard’s anti-war stance and said Clinton had “sowed division in this primary” with her critique. He also noted Gabbard’s support from some alt-right websites. Gabbard, in Defiant Video, Links Clinton ‘Smears’ to Her Previous Sanders Endorsement

By Fox News. Speaking directly to the camera in a video message posted on social media on Sunday, 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard suggested that Hillary Clinton recently “smeared” her as a “Russian asset” as payback for Gabbard’s defiance of the party establishment in 2016.

“If they can falsely portray me as a traitor, then they can do it to anyone — and in fact, that’s exactly the message they want to get across to you,” Gabbard, a Democrat, said in the video.

“If you stand up to Hillary and the party power brokers — if you stand up to the rich and powerful elite and the war machine, they will destroy you and discredit your message. But, here is the truth: They will not intimidate us. They will not silence us.”

The post ratcheted up an already escalating feud that has rocked the presidential primary. Several candidates, including Beto O’Rourke, Andrew Yang and Marianne Williamson, have criticized Clinton’s unfounded suggestion that Russians have been “grooming” Gabbard to be a third-party spoiler in the race.

State Department Completes Its Investigation into Hillary’s Email Server

Hillary Clinton’s email fiasco remains a topic of conversation. She might have thought it was blown out of proportion, but she certainly didn’t help neutralize its main concern. Clinton used a home-based server for all official business while serving as secretary of state under Obama. It wasn’t secure. It was unauthorized. And she might have mishandled classified information. In 2016, as the Democratic Party’s nominee, this is a story. It was one that killed her numbers with voters. Her endless stream of lies about it also poured fuel on the fire. She said that she had gone to State Department officials for approval and that they signed off on it. . .

Now, the State Department has finally concluded their review, where they cite 588 violations by 38 people (via AP):

The investigation, launched more than three years ago, determined that those 38 people were “culpable” in 91 cases of sending classified information that ended up in Clinton’s personal email, according to a letter sent to Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley this week and released on Friday. The 38 are current and former State Department officials but were not identified.

The investigation covered 33,000 emails that Clinton turned over for review after her use of the private email account became public. The department said it found a total of 588 violations involving information then or now deemed to be classified but could not assign fault in 497 cases.
