Federal Judge Orders Clinton to Sit for Deposition on Use of Private Email Account

By National Review. A federal judge has ordered Hillary Clinton to sit for a sworn deposition regarding her use of a private email account while serving as secretary of state.

U.S. District Court Royce Lamberth, a Reagan appointee, on Monday filed the order for Clinton to appear for a deposition in a five-year-old case brought by the conservative group Judicial Watch. The group filed a Freedom of Information Act request for Clinton emails pertaining to the 2012 attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Federal Judge Orders Hillary Clinton Deposition to Address Private Emails: ‘Still More to Learn’

By Fox News. A federal judge Monday granted a request from conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch to have former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sit for a sworn deposition to answer questions about her use of a private email server to conduct government business.

Clinton has argued that she has already answered questions about this and should not have to do so again — the matter did not result in any charges for the then-presidential candidate in 2016 after a high-profile investigation — but D.C. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth said in his ruling that her past responses left much to be desired.

“As extensive as the existing record is, it does not sufficiently explain Secretary Clinton’s state of mind when she decided it would be an acceptable practice to set up and use a private server to conduct State Department business,” Lamberth said.

The judge went on to recognize that while Clinton responded to written questions in a separate case, “those responses were either incomplete, unhelpful, or cursory at best. Simply put her responses left many more questions than answers.” Lamberth said that using written questions this time “will only muddle any understanding of Secretary Clinton’s state of mind and fail to capture the full picture, thus delaying the final disposition of this case even further.”

Lamberth even gave some examples of lingering questions about Clinton’s emails, such as how did she come to believe that her private emails would be preserved under normal State Department processes, who told her this and when, at what point did she learn department records management officials did not know about the server, “[a]nd why did she think that using a private server to conduct State Department business was permissible under the law in the first place?” (Read more from “Federal Judge Orders Hillary Clinton Deposition to Address Private Emails: ‘Still More to Learn'” HERE)

We Need to Talk About Hillary Clinton’s Disturbing Harvey Weinstein Ties

In liberal establishment circles, not much is made of Hillary and Bill Clinton’s ties to Harvey Weinstein. The Clintons deny knowledge of Weinstein’s reputation in the industry, though there was a decades-long rumor mill in Hollywood and prolific whisper network amongst employees at Miramax and subsequently The Weinstein Company, where the producer enmeshed his assistants and executives in his sexual assault plots. But ahead of the March 6 Hulu release of the television docuseries Hillary, which was originally slated to be produced by Weinstein right up until the bombshell allegations against him were published by The New York Times and The New Yorker—and which conveniently overlooks their mutually beneficial relationship—it’s time to give their alliance a second look. (Full disclosure: I was a member of The New Yorker’s editorial team when Ronan Farrow’s initial reportage came out.)

Who politicians take money from, especially when those politicians are willing to seek out lavish donations and lip service from the rich, is of interest to the public; and by avoiding scrutiny into exactly what these politicians know about who they associate with, we condone a political system swept up in cynical corporatism as well as abuse. In response to an October 2017 follow-up story about the network of powerful enablers surrounding Weinstein, Hillary’s lawyer Robert Barnett told the Times that talks about the docuseries ceased once allegations about Weinstein were published, but it’s easy to imagine that the Clintons must have at least caught wind of these allegations, as well as the idea that they were likely to become public, much earlier. (On Feb. 24, a New York City jury found Weinstein guilty on one count of rape in the third degree and one count of a criminal sexual act.)

As many outlets have reported, Weinstein has strong ties to both the Clintons and the Obamas, as well as to the Democratic Party establishment overall. Weinstein has donated tens of thousands of dollars to Democrats since the ‘90s, and has hosted fundraisers for candidates and even a birthday party for Hillary in 2000, during her candidacy for senator of New York. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who was a Republican but is now in the race for the Democratic presidential primary, also had a “years long, mutually beneficial relationship” with Weinstein, as reported by Fox Business. (Bloomberg’s “company, through its male managers and employees from Chief Executive Officer Bloomberg on down, engaged in a pattern and practice of sexual harassment, sexual degradation of women,” according to one lawsuit; that multi-billion dollar corporation has had several women sign NDAs.) . . .

The Times has also reported that political allies tried to warn Hillary Clinton about his behavior. Both Lena Dunham and Tina Brown (former editor-in-chief of The Daily Beast) allege that they told Hillary’s aides about the stories going around about Weinstein—Brown says she did so in 2002, and Dunham in 2016, during Hillary’s presidential campaign. There’s also reporter Ronan Farrow’s claims to BuzzFeed that Hillary refused to meet with him about another, unrelated book once her team caught wind of his investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Weinstein. Trump Campaign Reacts to Report Bloomberg Could Tap Hillary to Be His VP

President Donald Trump’s campaign reacted to rumblings of Mike Bloomberg considering Hillary Clinton as a running mate Saturday, arguing that the Democratic establishment was “once again” trying to “steal” the nomination from Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Trump’s campaign and White House teams presented a united message on the news, which was first reported by Matt Drudge. . .

“Hillary apparently can’t resist trying to steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders a second time,” said Erin Perrine, deputy communications director for the Trump campaign.

“It appears that Bloomberg is colluding with Hillary to once again steal the Democrat nomination from Bernie,” Republican strategist and former White House official Andy Surabian told the Daily Caller. “Did anti-establishment Dems really think the establishment oligarchs in their party were just gonna roll over in the face of Bernie’s revolution?”

Many Democrats accused Clinton’s 2016 campaign of stealing the nomination from Sanders, resulting in some reforms to the Party’s 2020 primary process. Central to the controversy were the party’s super-delegates, who enter the national convention free to vote for any candidate, whereas other delegates are bound by the results of their state primaries. REPORT: Hillary Refuses to Be Served Gabbard Lawsuit Before Declaring ‘No One Is Above the Law’

On Thursday morning, Hillary Clinton decided to weigh in on the impeachment trial of President Trump, tweeting this deathless quote: “In America, no one is above the law.”

Clinton’s tweet was in reference to the impeachment trial of President Trump; her full tweet read, “Richard Nixon once made this argument:‘When the president does it, that means that it is not illegal.’ He was forced to resign in disgrace. In America, no one is above the law.”

But also on Thursday this tidbit of news was released to the public: Tulsi Gabbard’s attorney, Brian Dunne, stated that Clinton has twice refused to accept the legal documents that a process server attempted to deliver to her from the defamation lawsuit filed against her by Gabbard.

Dunne told The New York Post, “I find it rather unbelievable that Hillary Clinton is so intimidated by Tulsi Gabbard that she won’t accept service of process. But I guess here we are.”

The Post added, “Dunne said their process server first attempted to effect service at Clinton’s house in Chappaqua on Tuesday afternoon — but was turned away by Secret Service agents. The agents directed the server to Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, who on Wednesday claimed at his Washington, DC, firm, Williams & Connolly, that he was unable to accept service on Clinton’s behalf, said Dunne.” (Read more from “REPORT: Hillary Refuses to Be Served Gabbard Lawsuit Before Declaring ‘No One Is Above the Law'” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Defends Her ‘Distant Friend’, Pervert Harvey Weinstein; This is Weinstein’s Defense Strategy

By Daily Wire. Hillary Clinton made headlines Tuesday for a wide-ranging interview she held with The Hollywood Reporter in anticipation of the world premiere of “Hillary,” a documentary about her life, premiering this week at the Sundance Film Festival, but largely because she finally let loose on Sen. Bernie Sanders, her rival for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, trashing the Vermont Senator and calling him unlikeable and fake.

But in her interview with THR, she also defended her longtime friend, Democratic mega-donor Harvey Weinstein, despite “disavowing” the accused sexual predator back in the 2017, when he was first accused of dozens of sexual assaults and rapes. . .

That makes it sound as though Clinton just cashed Weinstein’s checks, but the pair have at least a cordial relationship going back more than a decade. Indeed, he was a donor; Weinstein reportedly bundling around $1.6 million for Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, per Newsweek, and giving around $1.4 million of his own to Democrats since 1992, when Clinton’s husband, Bill, first ran for president. . .

But Bill and Hillary Clinton were personal friends of Weinstein’s. The trio were spotted together at fundraisers, like the Planned Parenthood 100th Anniversary Gala, which took place just a couple of months before the #MeToo movement began in earnest, and Bill and Hillary dined out with Harvey at New York landmark Rao‘s in December of 2016, after she lost the presidential election to Donald Trump — one of her first times out after the election. It was a business meeting, The New York Times reported; Clinton wanted to make a documentary about her loss.

And Clinton was, reportedly, told several times about Weinstein’s extra-curricular activities during the 2016 election cycle, most notably by writer and women’s rights activist Lena Dunham, who took a front-and-center role on Clinton’s campaign. Dunham emailed Clinton’s then-communications director with a dire warning: “I just want you to let you know that Harvey’s a rapist and this is going to come out at some point,” she said. “I think it’s a really bad idea for him to host fund-raisers and be involved because it’s an open secret in Hollywood that he has a problem with sexual assault.” (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Defends Pervert Harvey Weinstein” HERE)

Harvey Weinstein’s Legal Team Claims It Has ‘Dozens’ of ‘Loving’ Emails From Witnesses

By NBC News. Harvey Weinstein’s legal team has “dozens and dozens and dozens” of “loving” emails written by witnesses who accuse him of sexual misconduct, one of the former film mogul’s defense attorneys said in court Tuesday.

The judge overseeing Weinstein’s rape trial ruled Tuesday that the producer’s defense attorneys can talk about the emails but cannot show them. He also prohibited Weinstein’s lawyers from using the emails in their opening statements, which are slated to begin Wednesday in the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan.

The emails “undercut” prosecutors’ arguments that Weinstein was a serial sexual predator, defense attorney Damon Cheronis said.

Cheronis claimed one accuser sent his client an email after an alleged encounter giving him her new phone number, while another sent him an email after another alleged encounter in which she sought to introduce him to her mother.

“We have dozens and dozens and dozens of emails which include statements from complaining witnesses that they were involved in a relationship with Mr. Weinstein, including loving relationships and sexual encounters, and show in one case that they care about him,” Cheronis said, later characterizing the emails as “loving.” (Read more from “Harvey Weinstein’s Legal Team Claims It Has ‘Dozens’ of ‘Loving’ Emails From Witnesses” HERE)

Google Whistleblower Who Exposed Millions of Votes That Were Stolen for Hillary in 2016, Suggests His Wife May Have Been Murdered in Retaliation

By Daily Mail. The wife of a Google whistleblower, who exposed meddling in the 2016 election, died Friday night just days after she was seriously injured in a car crash.

Psychology professor, Robert Epstein, 66, shared in a heartbreaking tweet announcing that his wife, Misti Dawn Vaughn, died after her vehicle spun out of control along a slippery road in California and into the path of a tractor-trailer.

‘My beautiful wife Misti, a published poet, succumbed last night to injuries sustained in a car accident,’ her grieving husband wrote. . .

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, she was driving along rain-slick Interstate 15 in Escondido when the accident occurred.

When her truck spun out of control it crossed into the path of an oncoming big rig that was hauling two dump trailers. (Read more from “Google Whistleblower Who Exposed Millions of Votes That Were Stolen for Hillary in 2016, Hints His Young Wife Was Murdered in Retaliation” HERE)

Federal Prosecutor Wrapping up Investigation Into Clinton Foundation

A federal investigation into matters related to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is nearly complete.

U.S. Attorney John Huber’s two-year-plus inquiry, which has been shrouded in mystery compared to other politically charged investigations involving federal law enforcement, has not led to any criminal charges or any “known impacts,” according to the Washington Post.

Within Huber’s purview was the FBI’s corruption investigation into the 2010 Uranium One deal and allegations that Clinton orchestrated a “quid pro quo.” The sale of Uranium One, a Toronto-based company with U.S. mine holdings, to Russian state-owned Rosatom was the focus of great controversy and scrutiny from Republicans who claimed that Clinton helped coax a nine-agency review board not to block the deal and that the Clinton Foundation may have stood to benefit from it.

Huber, who hails from Utah, was tasked by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to investigate a list of allegations by Republicans in Congress. During his review, Huber examined documents and spoke with federal law enforcement officials in Little Rock, Arkansas, who were involved in an inquiry into the Clinton family’s foundation. Does This Hillary Email on Benghazi Suggest Her Actions Were Grounded in Executing a Clean 2016 Campaign?

Our friends at Twitchy posted about it first, but a new email has dropped concerning former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s actions after the 2012 Benghazi terror attack that led to three deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens. It occurred in September of 2012, weeks away from the election. The Obama White House’s rallying cry was that al-Qaeda was on the run. They were wrong. The Obama administration said this attack was a “spontaneous” reaction to a YouTube video released months prior to the attack. It was a lie. Judicial Watch has been hell on wheels regarding their fight for disclosure about this incident and many more under the Obama administration with their FOIA requests and countless lawsuits for documents to be released. The revelation that the Obama administration scrubbed talking points only added to the intrigue that there was some sort of cover-up in the weeks leading up to a critical election for then-President Obama.

The email Judicial Watch obtained was sent by Jacob Sullivan, Clinton’s then-deputy chief of staff and senior adviser, to the former first lady’s address 18 days after the attack. Then-Chief of Staff Cheryl Mill was cc’d on the exchange. Again, I know some of you already knew what was up with the previous disclosures from this horrific attack, but more information is leeching out. . .

Twitchy captured some of the reactions, with one person saying that Clinton’s actions alluded to in the email suggest the former first lady was trying to clear a path for a clean 2016 run without Benghazi being in the mix. Not the case. We got something better: allegations that she mishandled classified information by having an unsecured and unauthorized homebrew server from which all her official business was conducted at the State Department. And she lied about State saying it was ok to have such a system. Every talking point she offered was eviscerated by the press until she stopped doing press conferences altogether. She wiped those away, like what you would do with a cloth. So, in the end, Clinton didn’t have a clean run. The irony is that Benghazi was the least of her worries during that election. Now Hillary Thinks Bernie Sanders Is a Russian Asset

Hillary Clinton gave an interview to Howard Stern on Wednesday where she implicated Bernie Sanders into her Russian conspiracy theory that she credits with costing her the 2016 presidential election.

While elaborating on her conspiracy theory of how Russia stole the election from her, the two-time presidential loser told Howard Stern that the Russians also wanted to do everything they could to help elect Bernie Sanders.

“You know, basically, [the Russians] were like, hey, let’s do everything we can to elect Donald Trump,” Hillary explained to Stern. “Those are words. And they also said Bernie Sanders, but, you know, that’s for another day.” . . .

In October, Clinton accused Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard of being a “Russian asset,” who Clinton believes the Russians are now grooming to run as a third-party candidate in 2020. In the same interview, Hillary accused Jill Stein, the Green Party’s nominee for president in 2016, of being a Russian asset who helped cause Clinton’s loss to President Trump in 2016.

Not sure how implicating other candidates into her Russian collusion theory helps the Democrats “join forces,” or the fact that Clinton sees no path forward for Bernie Sanders to clinch the Democratic nomination. (Read more from “Now Hillary Thinks Bernie Sanders Is a Russian Asset” HERE)

WATCH: Hillary Clinton Drops Biggest Hint yet That She’s Mulling a 2020 Presidential Run

The strongest indicator yet that Hillary’s mulling a 2020 run? She appeared Wednesday, for the first time ever, on Howard Stern. . .

As those who listen to the show know, Stern publicly begged Hillary to appear during the 2016 campaign. After Donald Trump won, Stern said one guest shot could have moved the needle her way.

“If she had come on the show . . .,” Stern mused in May. “The way I helped Donald was I let him come on and be a personality. Whether you liked him or not . . . people related to him as a human being.”

Hillary, it’s clear, was after exactly that — relatability, long her white whale.

One can only ask: Why now, if she has no plans to run yet again?
