Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have at least one thing in common: they’re both turning to former Goldman Sachs executives to help lead their campaigns.
Trump announced Thursday that he has hired Steve Mnuchin as his national finance chairman, citing in part his “extensive and very successful financial background.”
Mnuchin currently heads his own private investment firm, Dune Capital Management, but spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs. His father, Robert, was also a longtime fixture at the Wall Street giant.
One year ago, Clinton announced that her campaign’s chief financial officer would be Gary Gensler, who rose to Goldman’s co-head of finance after 18 years with the firm.
Before joining the campaign, Gensler was actually a Wall Street watchdog, serving as the head of President Obama’s Commodity Futures Trading Commission. There, he gained a reputation as one of the administration’s toughest regulators, making his selection primarily seen as an effort to calm Wall Street skeptics to Clinton’s left. The FBI is reportedly making arrangements to interview Hillary Clinton as it nears the end of its investigation into her use of a private, unsecured server to conduct government business.
As reported by Western Journalism, investigators found over 2,200 emails from Clinton’s server containing classified information. The FBI investigation is focused on whether federal laws regarding the handling of government documents have been violated.
CNN reported Thursday that the FBI has recently interviewed key Clinton aides including Huma Abedin. Additionally, former Clinton employee, Bryan Pagliano, who helped set up the former secretary of state’s server, was granted immunity and has been interviewed by the agency as part of the inquiry . . .
One final step in the investigation will be bringing Clinton herself in for questioning. The FBI will coordinate with the campaign and her Secret Service detail to ensure the meeting takes place privately, ideally, as far as the Clinton team is concerned, without the media aware of its time or location. Hold your horses, Trump supporters. Hold your horses. When I say, “We’ll examine what went wrong,” come on. You know exactly what I’m talking about, from the standpoint of Cruz supporters. They’re the ones trying to figure out what went wrong today. They are looking for explanations, and I’m sure they have their own at the same time. But we’ll get into all that. Let me give you one little thing: My instinctive feeling right now is that Trump is gonna win, beat Hillary badly, that it could be landslide proportions.
I still don’t think people understand why Trump won this. I don’t think they understand at all the reason people support Trump. And the deeper people are entrenched in politics, and the more they are accustomed to the templates and the handbooks and the theories and the playbooks, the less they’re gonna understand it. The more they try to plug Donald Trump and his campaign and his personality into the professional politician candidate playbook that they use, the farther and farther from the truth they are going to get.
I’ve tried to help. During the course of this entire campaign, I’ve gone to great lengths to try to explain to people what it is about Trump, why he has his supporters, why they support him, and what you have to do to separate them from Trump. Basically, you can’t. That’s the bottom line. There’s nothing any professional politician can do. They’ve done everything that they knew how to beat a candidate. They threw everything they had at Trump. I mean, the negative ads that they ran against him, these #NeverTrump guys and their PACs in all these states?
In indiana alone the amount of money spent on negative ads against Trump? And it didn’t work. And in their world, negative ads always work. So they’re out there scratching their heads today. You’ve got #NeverTrump people saying, “I said I was never gonna vote for Trump, and I’m never gonna vote for Trump — and I mean it.” You’ve got some people thinking about looking for third-party candidate. Others, it’s a matter of honor, a matter of principle, to never vote for Trump. But they’re caught between that and Hillary Clinton becoming president. Democratic strategist Dave “Mudcat” Saunders believes Donald Trump will beat Hillary Clinton like a “baby seal,” and that working class whites who haven’t already left the Democratic Party for cultural reasons will due so now for economic ones.
“I know a ton of Democrats — male, female, black and white — here [in southern Virginia] who are going to vote for Trump. It’s all because of economic reasons. It’s because of his populist message,” Mudcat told The Daily Caller Wednesday.
Saunders has experience working with Jim Webb, helping getting him elected to the U.S Senate in 2006 and advised his failed bid for the presidency in 2016. Saunders was also an advisor to John Edwards in his 2008 presidential bid. The Democrat strategist is renowned for connecting politicians to “Bubbas” — white, working class Southerners.
“Working class whites in the South have already departed the Democratic Party for cultural reasons. Well the working class whites in the North are now deserting the Democrats because of economic reasons,” Mudcat told TheDC. He added, “this is the new age of economic populism, man. This is about survival for a lot of people.”
Hillary Clinton, throughout the Democratic primary, has relied heavily on the black vote, she has struggled to gain support from white men. In the SEC primary, she didn’t win over 60 percent of the white vote in any of the six states. She did however gain over 80 percent of the black vote in all of them. There has been one demographic this cycle that Clinton has lost consistently to Sanders — white men. (Read more from “Democratic Strategist: Trump Will Beat Hillary Like ‘a Baby Seal'” HERE)

Only Republicans can make President Hillary Clinton a reality.
On January, 20, 2017, President Hillary Clinton might just become a reality. With her face set in the tight unpleasant grimace that is the closest she can come to smiling, she will take the oath of office on a bible, her Alinsky thesis or an Eleanor Roosevelt Ouija board vowing to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
If the bible doesn’t burst into flames on the spot, she will take office with one more lie on her stained conscience after a long career of them.
And the United States will enter the longest period of uninterrupted Democrat rule since FDR. It will be the single greatest opportunity for the left to transform America since the days of the New Deal.
Think of America before the New Deal. And then think of how much America changed after it.
It might behoove Republicans to stop accusing each other of having short fingers or 600 mistresses and start making the case against Hillary Clinton if they want to win anything worth winning. In the midst of all the exciting debates about establishment conspiracies and shoving video forensics, too many have forgotten what is really at stake here and what they ought to really be talking about.
The national debt will go up. So will your taxes. Hillary Clinton is promising a trillion dollar tax hike. And that’s during her campaign. Imagine how much she will really raise taxes once she’s actually in office.
Two Supreme Court justices, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Anthony Kennedy will likely leave office on her watch. That’s in addition to Scalia’s empty seat which she will fill resulting in an ideological switch for the court. Additionally, Kennedy, for all his flaws, was a swing vote. Hillary’s appointee won’t be swinging anywhere. The Supreme Court will once again become a reliable left-wing bastion.
Even if the Democrats never manage to retake Congress, they will control two out of three branches of government. And with an activist Supreme Court and the White House, the left will have near absolute power to redefine every aspect of society on their own terms without facing any real challenges.
And they will use it. Your life changed fundamentally under Obama. The process will only accelerate.
You will have less free speech. You will pay more for everything. Your children and grandchildren will be taught to hate you twice as hard. Local democracy will continue being eroded. Your community, your school, your town, your city and your state will be run out of D.C. You will live under the shadow of being arrested for violating some regulation that you never even heard of before.
Every day you will notice basic aspects of life that you took for granted just vanishing while a carefully selected multicultural audience cheers on television.
Hillary Clinton had a man sent to jail for uploading a video about Mohammed. What do you think she’ll do to even more vocal critics of Islam? How long will it be until a new Supreme Court decides that a Mohammed cartoon is “shouting fire in a crowded theater” and not protected by the Constitution?
On gun control, Hillary Clinton managed to combine an attack on both of the first two amendments of the Bill of Rights by insisting, “We cannot let a minority of people… hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people.” What would she do to prevent them from holding that viewpoint? Or any other viewpoints that she doesn’t think people should be allowed to hold?
If you thought that conservatives were targeted under Obama, imagine what will happen under the woman who blamed all her problems, including her husband’s infidelity, on a “vast right-wing conspiracy”. Barack Obama is surrounded by radical leftists. Hillary Clinton’s circle however is filled with political thugs like David Brock and Sidney Blumenthal who channel her worst paranoid tendencies.
President Hillary Clinton will seek to root out that vast right-wing conspiracy which prevented Bill Clinton from keeping his pants on and made ordinary people dislike her. The orbit of ClintonWorld is huge and her White House will be able to command the loyalties of key figures across government. If you thought the IRS was bad under Obama, just wait. If you thought that the EPA was actively trying to destroy businesses that donate to Republicans, watch what happens when the FDA and every other government agency get in on the act.
And all of this will be implemented by an organization that engages in preemptive cover-ups overseen by a politician who had become notorious as a compulsive liar incapable of telling the truth decades ago. The American people will be lied to on a constant basis by a captive press whose strings are being pulled out of the White House. And the lies and abuses will be backed by an endless conveyor belt of new lies.
Obama’s greatest weakness was his impatience. Sooner or later he gets bored of everything. He grew bored of trying to be electable. He grew bored of backing the Muslim Brotherhood and switched to Iran. He grew bored of giving speeches, of regime change, of the entire Middle East and of his own talking points. Hillary Clinton however never gets bored. She never forgives or forgets. Whatever her flaws are, she thinks in the long term and she has the patience to creep slowly toward her ultimate objectives.
Hillary Clinton has not given up any of her objectives. She hasn’t grown bored of backing the Muslim Brotherhood. She doesn’t think that the Arab Spring was a bad idea. She won’t get tired of pushing each and every single one of her agendas, abroad and at home, until her very last day in office.
If you liked the Arab Spring, wait for Arab Spring II as Hillary Clinton goes after Egypt, Tunisia and any other country not controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood all over again. And when it comes to Israel, Hillary Clinton was more radically opposed to the Jewish State than her husband. She calls herself the “designated yeller” for her interactions with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Hillary Clinton’s Middle East foreign policy will be Obama’s disastrous policy on steroids.
The military is already crumbling under Obama. Anyone who thinks Hillary will offer some relief has forgotten the impact that her husband’s policies had on military readiness when he was in office. American soldiers will be expected to do more with less while receiving as little support from the White House when they come under fire as the fallen of Benghazi did from Hillary Clinton.
These are just a few selected excerpts from 2017, 2018, 2019 and onward if Republicans don’t start focusing on the welfare of the country instead of on settling personal scores within the party.
Today many Republicans hate each other more than they do Hillary Clinton. But no matter how ugly the Democratic race becomes, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders supporters will never hate each more than they hate Republicans. The bitterly divided Republican field would do well to remember that fact.
Democrats have tried and failed to make Hillary Clinton president before. They are having trouble carrying her over the finish line now despite her huge lead in money, organization and publicity.
Only Republicans can make President Hillary Clinton a reality. (For more from the author of “President Hillary Clinton” please click HERE)
It would seem that the only group interested in performing oversight of the Obama administration is an independent watchdog group, not the Republican-controlled Oversight committees in Congress.
Those committees appear to be either complicit, incompetent or (more likely) both.
Instead, we are left to groups like Judicial Watch (an organization that I have financially supported in the past thanks to my generous readers) to perform oversight on the most lawless administration in modern American history.
…[Judicial Watch] has obtained new documents from the Department of State containing the telephone transcripts from the evening of September 11, 2012, in which then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton informs then-Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Kandil that the deadly terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi “had nothing to do with the film.” The documents include previously unreleased telephone transcripts with world leaders about the Benghazi attack.
Clinton’s admission to Kandil was first produced to the Select Committee on Benghazi on October 13, 2015 and publicized on the day of Mrs. Clinton’s testimony, October 22, but court filings in Judicial Watch litigation show that the record was only produced after two federal court judges ordered the State Department to produce more Benghazi-related records to Judicial Watch. Similarly, Judicial Watch litigation also forced the release of the September 11, 2012 email in which Secretary of State Hillary Clinton informed her daughter by email that the attack had been staged by an “Al Qaeda-like group,” rather than as the result of “inflammatory material posted on the Internet,” as Mrs. Clinton had claimed in her official public statement one hour earlier.
The State Department previously told a federal court that the Kandil document wasn’t responsive to Judicial Watch’s request and resulting lawsuit [Ed.: likely a federal offense of some sort] (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01511)) seeking:
Any and all records concerning, regarding, or related to notes, updates, or reports created in response to the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This request includes, but is not limited to, notes taken by then Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton or employees of the Office of the Secretary of State during the attack and its immediate aftermath.
But the State Department then produced this information last month to Judicial Watch. The records, the State Department told the Court, were found among thousands of new Clinton State Department records supposedly only discovered in December, 2015 – again, two months after the key Kandil document was first produced to the Benghazi Committee…
…At 10:08 p.m. on September 11, Mrs. Clinton issued an official State Department press statement, approved by the White House, placing the blame for the attack on an Internet video:
Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.
Yet the next day, in her 7:49 PM September 12 conversation with Kandil, Clinton said, “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack – not a protest.” Kandil responded, “You’re not kidding. Based on the information we saw today we believe that group that claimed responsibility for this is affiliated with al-Qaeda.”
On September 15, in a telephone call with then-Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr, Clinton emphatically portrayed the “stupid, very offensive film” as the root cause of the Benghazi violence. Clinton told Amr, “I have repeatedly, as has the President and other officials in our government, deplored not only the content of this stupid, very offensive film… But we have to exercise more self-discipline… otherwise we’ll be in a vicious downward circle against everyone who has ever felt offended, particularly on the internet….”
Clinton’s telephone call with Amr also contained a curious reference to what the former secretary referred to as a “very successful investment visit led by my deputy Tom Nides, and on the very day they left this series of incidents began to unfold.” According to the Washington Post, Nides, who was deputy secretary for management and resources at the State Department, was at the same time responsible for “communications with donors” to the Clinton Foundation. Nides was also involved in the scandal involving Clinton’s efforts to provide special access to State Department officials for hedge fund clients of her son-in-law, Marc Mezinsky.
I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s petty corruption, there’s felony corruption and then there’s Clinton corruption, the major leagues of fraud, embezzlement, and bribery.
But don’t tell The New York Times’ Li’l Nicky Kristof! He still thinks Hillary and Obama are as pure as the driven snow. (For more from the author of “OOPS: Most Transparent Administration Ever Withheld Incriminating Hillary Emails From Federal Courts” please click HERE)
The Sunday New York Times continued its drip marketing campaign to position Hillary as trustworthy, this time utilizing another of its Leni Riefenstahl clones.
In this case, someone named “Little Nicky Kristof”, if that is his real name, took a crack at resurrecting Hillary’s horrid reputation.
Kristof’s unintentionally comedic offal was entitled “Debunking the ‘Crooked Hillary’ Myth”, which is somewhat akin to “Debunking the ‘Sun is Hot’ Myth”.
Clinton defenders like to grade on a curve, and suggest all pragmatic politicians blur the truth a little, even suggesting voters should want someone who blurs the truth like this. On issues, Kristof writes, “she can be infuriatingly evasive,” but “Does that make her scheming and unprincipled? Perhaps, but synonyms might be ‘pragmatic’ and ‘electable.’ That’s what presidential candidates do.”
Kristof is basically Xeroxing a recent column by his former Times colleague, Jill Abramson, whose recent Guardian column claimed “Hillary Clinton Is Fundamentally Honest.” He joins her in dragging out PolitiFact as a defense of her honesty…
…Kristof needed a fact-check on the fact-checking citation. This correction was appended: “An earlier version of this column misstated some of the percentages of true statements as judged by PolitiFact.”
Wait: make sure you’re sitting down!
What Kristof doesn’t do is disclose he’s spoken at many gatherings of the Clinton Global Initiative.
Sorry, Nicky. Hillary’s “trustworthiness” poll numbers demonstrate that roughly 99.7 percent of the public believe that she is a malevolent, disgusting, cold-blooded, and entirely crooked liar.
Furthermore, each and every email that is recovered from her illegal bathroom server paints in more of the picture, most recently this revelation:
…[A newly discovered] record of a phone call by Clinton the day after the attack. “S” is Secretary Clinton. In a call to then-Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Kandil she said that the deadly terrorist attack on the US compound the day before “had nothing to do with the film.”
On the prior evening (September 11) Mrs.
As New York’s sole honest newspaper observed last December, the video fable was Hillary’s most repugnant lie, as she told the family members of heroes Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, and Tyrone Woods after the Benghazi attack that she was going to “have the filmmaker arrested who was responsible” for the attacks.
Kristof is a disgusting hack, but the device has yet to be invented that can measure how utterly abhorrent Hillary Clinton is. (For more from the author of “LITTLE NICKY KRISTOF HARDEST HIT: Hillary’s Latest Email Disclosures Prove She’s a Malevolent, Repulsive Liar” please click HERE)
A prominent Ku Klux Klan leader says that the group has raised thousands of dollars for Hillary Clinton’s campaign and that the Klan is officially endorsing the Democratic frontrunner for president—a claim the Clinton campaign vigorously denies.
Shortly after setting a giant cross on fire with dozens of other members of various white nationalist groups in Georgia on Saturday, Will Quigg, a Grand Dragon in a California branch of the KKK, sat down with Vocativ—which was there for a larger reporting trip about the modern state of the hate group—to talk about the 2016 election. According to Quigg, “For the KKK, Clinton is our choice.”
“She is friends with the Klan,” Quigg said. “A lot of people don’t realize that. She’s friends with Senator [Robert] Byrd. He’s been an Exulted Cyclops in the Klan. He’s been King Kleagle.” (King Kleagle is another KKK title for the leader of an entire “realm,” or state. Quigg is the King Kleagle for California.) Robert Byrd is a former U.S. senator from West Virginia. In the 1940s, Byrd organized and served as the leader of a Klan chapter in West Virginia. Byrd has long since disavowed the Klan and called his involvement “wrong.” In 2010, Hillary Clinton called Senator Byrd a “friend and mentor.”
Quigg said that he and other Klan members have raised more than $20,000 for the Clinton campaign and donated it anonymously . . .
The Clinton campaign strongly denies receiving any donations from the Ku Klux Klan and rejects the organization’s endorsement. “This is completely false,” Clinton campaign spokesman Josh Schwerin told Vocativ. “We want no part of them or their money and vehemently reject their hateful agenda.” (Read more from “KKK Endorses Hillary Clinton, Claims 20k in Clinton Donations” HERE)
It’s a nightmare scenario for Republicans, but conservative billionaire Charles Koch says “it’s possible” Hillary Clinton could make a better president than the remaining candidates in the GOP primary.
Koch, one of the most influential and controversial forces in Republican politics, said in an exclusive interview with ABC News to air Sunday on “This Week” that he believed Bill Clinton was a better president “in some ways” than George W. Bush.
“In other ways, I mean [Clinton] wasn’t an exemplar. But as far as the growth of government, the increase in spending,” Koch said. “It was 2.5 times [more] under Bush than it was under Clinton.”
In his interview, Koch said that is a result of his disgust with the rhetoric in the Republican primary, and he even suggested Clinton could be a better choice for the country than the remaining crop of GOP candidates.

“It’s possible,” Koch said, but didn’t say whether he could see himself supporting Clinton in the 2016 cycle. (Read more from “Billionaire Sees Hillary as Better Pick” HERE)
Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz struggled to defend former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server this morning during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”
When host Chris Wallace asked the Florida congresswoman about about Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ persistent critiques of Clinton’s campaign and the scandal that surrounds it, Wasserman Schultz unsuccessfully tried to divert the conversation to the messy, “backwards” Republican race . . .
When pressed about the scandal, she said that Clinton used private emails “in the same way that previous secretaries of state have.”
“Whoa, you know that’s not true,” Wallace stopped her. “Nobody says that’s true.”
“Other than the private server,” Wasserman Schultz said. (Read more from “Fox Host Gets DNC Chair to Admit Clinton Was Only Sec. Of State Ever to Use Private Email Sever” HERE)
