Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says she’s been called many things before but “unqualified” is not one of them.
Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders came out swinging at one another almost immediately during Thursday night’s CNN Democratic presidential debate, especially as one of the first questions to the Vermont senator was whether or not he thought Clinton had the judgement to become the next president.
“I do question her judgement,” Sanders admitted during the debate to a boisterous audience as he referenced Clinton’s vote in support of the war in Iraq, voting record on trade agreements and her use of super PACs.
“Now that the spotlight is pretty bright here in New York, some things have been said,” Clinton countered.
Referencing Sanders’ comment that she is “unqualified” to be president, Clinton said, “I’ve been called a lot of things in my life. That was a first.” (Read more from “Clinton Says She’s ‘Been Called Many Things’ but This One Word From Sanders ‘Was the First'” HERE)

Judy Woodruff, anchor of PBS’ News Hour and former White House Correspondent, wrote a forward for Kate Andersen Brower’s new book, “First Women: The Grace and Power of America’s Modern First Ladies.” Woodruff writes, “Superbly reported … A fascinating backstage account of the world’s most famous residence.”
First Lady Feud? Book Claims Michelle Obama Has Beef with Hillary Clinton – https://t.co/2APftnPgJ5
But it’s not just what happens behind the scenes at the White House that’s making Brower’s new book the talk in media today. Also creating a buzz is the sentiment the Obamas apparently share towards the Clintons. Brower writes there exists, “deep and lasting scars on both the Clinton and Obama camps, and they are still shockingly fresh.”
The New York Post stated the new expose reveals, “Michelle Obama was even hoping Joe Biden would launch a presidential run so he could beat Hillary this time around.” A former Obama adviser reportedly told Brower, “When Michelle Obama views the Clintons, I don’t want to say she’s looking down her nose at them — but she kind of is,” adding Michelle’s relationship with Hillary is, “fraught with hurt feelings and resentment” . . .
With the FBI currently investigating Hillary Clinton for her handling of classified emails on a private server, combined with Brower’s new revelations about how the Obama’s supposedly feel about the Clintons, one might assume President Obama may not pardon Clinton if criminal charges are filed against her. Obama said as much Sunday when he was interviewed by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace. Obama said, “Nobody is above the law.” (Read more from “Exposed: Insider Rips Veil off Michelle Obama’s Sinister Hillary Clinton Secret” HERE)
During an interview with the editorial team of the New York Daily News, Hillary Clinton admitted her tax proposals will increase taxes on the American people by at least $1 trillion over the next ten years. Here is the key exchange from the meeting, according to a transcript released by the Daily News:
Clinton: I have connected up my proposals for the kind of investments I want to make with the taxes that I think have to be raised. So on individual pieces of my agenda, I try to demonstrate clearly that I have a way for paying for paid family leave, for example, for debt-free tuition. So I would spend about $100 billion a year. And I think it’s affordable, and I think it’s a smart way to make investments, to go back to our economic discussion, that will contribute to growing the economy.
Now I’m well aware that this is a heavy lift. I understand that. But I think connecting what I’m asking for to the programs, to the outcomes and results that I’m calling for give me a stronger hand, and that’s how I’m going to go at it.
Daily News: So if I understand you correctly, if you look at your proposals for college costs and for family leave, for infrastructure investments…
Clinton: Well, that’s a little bit different, because infrastructure investment, I’m still looking at how we fund the National Infrastructure Bank. It may be repatriation. That’s one theory, or something else. It’s about $100 billion a year.

Male executives at the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation earn 38 percent more than women executives, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of the foundation’s latest IRS tax filings . . .
The numbers were in stark contrast to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign-oriented “Equal Pay Day” speech, which she delivered in Silicon Valley Tuesday. She charged that equal pay for women was “long overdue.”
Pay equity at The Clinton Foundation, however, doesn’t quite meet those standards.
The foundation’s highest paid executive is Frederick Post, director of “sponsor and marketing,” who has built the foundation’s assets to $247 million. He received $484,000 in annual compensation.
The highest paid woman is CEO Virginia Ehrlich. Her pay is only $201,000, less than half that of Post’s. (Read more from “Pay Gap Alert: Clinton Foundation Male Execs Earn 38% More Than Women” HERE)

By Gerry Urbanek. New York City’s annual Inner Circle Dinner is an opportunity for New York’s political elite to enjoy an evening of food, fun, and awkward skits performed by politicians.
This year, however, a skit performed by Hillary Clinton and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio had attendees in shock.
The “joke” started when Hillary thanked de Blasio for his endorsement, but commented on how long it took him to do so.
“I just have to say thanks for the endorsement, Bill. Took you long enough,” Hillary said to mild laughter.
Then de Blasio took the joke in a direction no one was expecting.
“Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P time,” de Blasio said to a mix of laughter and gasps. C.P. time, or “colored people time,” is used to stereotype blacks and other minorities as lazy and often late. Hillary Clinton and Bill De Blasio Ripped Over Racial Skit
By Neetzan Zimmerman. Hillary Clinton performed in a racially tinged skit at an annual New York City press dinner as the controversy surrounding former president Bill Clinton’s defense of his wife’s “superpredator” remark continues to swirl.
Clinton took the stage for a surprise appearance at Saturday’s Inner Circle Dinner and proceeded to needle Mayor Bill de Blasio for his belated endorsement . . .
“Sorry, Hillary, I was running on C.P. time,” de Blasio replied to gasps from the crowd.
As Raw Story explains, “C. P. time,” or “colored people time,” refers to “the stereotype that African Americans generally tell as a reason for being late to an event or a traditionally black event not beginning on time.”
“Hamilton” star Leslie Odom Jr., who is black, was onstage with de Blasio and Clinton. “I don’t like jokes like that,” he said to the mayor. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton and Bill De Blasio Ripped Over Racial Skit” HERE)

In an interview with two Philadelphia newspapers Monday, Hillary Clinton again refused to release the transcripts to her [pricey] Wall Street speeches but insisted that she was the most transparent candidate for president.
“Well, I can only say this: let’s make sure everybody is already as transparent as I,” Clinton said when asked whether her refusal to release the transcripts signaled that she had “something to hide.”
Clinton avoided discussing the transcripts and instead focused on the “30 years” worth of tax returns that she had released. Seeing as rival Bernie Sanders has yet to release his tax returns, Clinton claimed, she was being held to a “double standard.”
“There certainly has been a double standard between me and others who run,” Clinton said. “Let’s meet the same standards. Let’s start with tax returns. That has been the standard.”
Sanders promised Sunday to release his tax returns and echoed an earlier claim that he and his wife, who files the returns, have been busy. Still, Clinton proceeded to apply the double standard logic to her Wall Street speeches and said that she would release her transcripts when Sanders released his. Writing at, of all places, Salon, H.A. Goodman poses 10 questions that the FBI should ask Hillary that will, if answered at all, “end her White House dreams”. Here are all 10, interspersed with some additional color commentary and follow-ups from me, in case the feds happen to read my blog.
1. What was the political utility in owning a private server and never using a State.gov email address? There was no political utility, nor was it about “personal convenience”. It was about hiding. Hiding the co-mingling of Clinton Foundation business with that of the State Department. It was about preventing the public — and federal inspectors general — from ever learning the real story of one of the most corrupt officials in the history of the Republic.
2. Were all 31,830 deleted private emails about yoga? Of course not. Based upon her inability to even navigate a set of stairs unassisted, Hillary’s into yoga the way I’m into Pinterest. No, the deleted emails were about quid pro quo deals that traded donations and speaking fees for government favors. Everyone with even a modicum of sense — which excludes Democrats, liberals and other Marxists — knows that.
3. Why didn’t you know that intelligence could be retroactively classified? Oh, “the most qualified presidential candidate ever” certainly knew the dangers of handling classified documents, none of which had to be marked classified to fall into a category demanding special safeguards and handling. In fact, some of her recovered emails clearly show her instructing underlings to send sensitive data over insecure channels. And her bathroom server was almost certainly hacked by at least three foreign governments — and possibly many more.
4. Why did you use a Blackberry that wasn’t approved by the NSA? Because she didn’t give a s*** about national security.
5. What did you say to Bryan Pagliano? Let me say up front, that based upon what I’ve read about Pagliano, he’s about as qualified to set up a secure email server for the government as Hillary Clinton is to teach yoga. If I were tasked with setting up such a system, I’d be using virtual machines, a hardened OS like SE Linux, host intrusion prevention, honeypots over the VM’s network, etc. I can almost guarantee that Pagliano did none of that. Her instructions were probably as simple as “set me up an email server that the government can’t access.”
6. Why were 22 Top Secret emails on a private server? Because she didn’t give a s*** about national security.
7. Was any information about the Clinton Foundation mingled with State Department documents? Was this question added for comic relief? If so, cue the laugh-track.
8. Did President Obama or his staff express any reservations about your private server? If they’d known about it ahead of time, I would bet they’d have explicitly prohibited it. Who sets up their own private email server for official business? Wait, don’t answer that.
9. Did Bill Clinton send or receive any emails on your private network? Mr. Clinton once claimed that he never sent or received emails; only recently did he admit being more tech savvy. Nonetheless, my sense is Hillary Clinton is the central character in this entire affront to national security.
10. How was your private server guarded against hacking attempts? Hillary clearly has all of the computer skills of LBJ, so her answers will be both incoherent and idiotic. Like I said, I’m guessing Pagliano had no clue how to set up a military grade computer system. So all of Hill’s emails are probably in the hands of the Chinese, the Russians, the Iranians and Anonymous.

President Barack Obama is guaranteeing that evidence, not politics, will dictate the outcome of the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of emails as secretary of state.
Obama’s comments came during an appearance on Fox News Sunday, his first as president. Obama said he continues to believe Clinton didn’t jeopardize America’s national security with her private email server, but he added that “there’s a carelessness in terms of managing emails” that she has recognized.
“What I also know, because I handle a lot of classified information, is that there are — there’s classified, and then there’s classified,” Obama told Fox News. “There’s stuff that is really top-secret, top-secret, and there’s stuff that is being presented to the president or the secretary of state, that you might not want on the transom, or going out over the wire, but is basically stuff that you could get in open-source.”
Obama said no one has suggested that Clinton’s handling of government emails detracted in any way “from her excellent ability to carry out her duties.” When asked specifically whether he can guarantee that Clinton will “not be in any way protected” during the course of the investigation, Obama said he maintains a strict line about not talking to FBI directors about pending investigations.
“I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department, or the FBI, not just in this case, but in any case,” Obama said during an interview that was taped during his visit to the University of Chicago School of Law, where he taught. One might say Democratic presidential front-runner and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton has been cooperative with the investigation into her use of a private email server. After all, she did apologize for maintaining a private email server, appeared before Congress on many occasions to offer up her side of the story, and spent hours testifying about her role in the handling of governmental emails. All the while, as Western Journalism has reported, the investigation into Clinton’s handling of classified information has continued to the point the FBI has reportedly offered immunity to individuals involved in the scandal.
But when it comes to whether or not Clinton broke the law and may be indicted by the FBI, Clinton’s tone apparently changes from apologetic to dismissive and contemptuous.
Take, for instance, the question Univision’s Jorge Ramos asked Clinton during a Democratic debate. Ramos asked Clinton, “Would you drop out of the race if you get indicted?” Clinton avoided the question but replied, “Oh, for goodness sake, that’s not going to happen. I’m not even answering that question”…
Clinton was a guest on NBC’s Today show. Matt Lauer, using a soft-spoken and kind tone with Clinton remarked, “Do you know what I hear a lot? That they (Republicans) are clinging to the hope, that the way they’ll be able to deal with that is that in some point between now and the election, that they will get to see Hillary Clinton in handcuffs. There will be some kind of political perp walk based on your private email server”…
Appearing dismissive of the FBI investigation, Clinton said, “I think it’s a security review. It is a security review. There are lots of those that are conducted in our government all the time. You don’t hear about most of them. You hear about this one because it does involve me, that’s why it gets so much attention. New Yorkers got a chuckle on Thursday morning when Hillary Clinton rode the subway. On her way into the station, Clinton had a little bit of trouble swiping her MetroCard: it took five goes for her to finally get the green light and pass through the turnstile.
This little incident became the cause of much mirth. “Clinton struggles to get through subway entrance,” said Politico. “Former New York Senator Hillary Clinton Struggles to Swipe Her Subway MetroCard,” reported ABC. “Video Shows Hillary Clinton Struggling With MetroCard At Bronx Subway Station,” said the local CBS affiliate’s website.
There was another problem with Clinton’s ride aboard the 4 Train, one that the media all but ignored: Hillary Clinton broke the subway rules, and did so not only within full sight of New York City officials and law enforcement, who stood around and watched her do it . . .
However, Section 1050.6(c)1 of the subway rules states unequivocally that none of these activities may be performed on the actual subway cars.
This is the rule Clinton broke. Clinton’s defenders might think the short subway trip wasn’t actually campaigning, but I’d urge them to watch a video of her two-stop ride – from Yankee Stadium to 170th Street – that clearly shows Clinton glad-handing on the train itself.
