One Name Rises up as Campaign Chief Says Clinton Run May Be Doubly Historic

maxresdefaultAs the primary process draws closer to convention, candidates on both sides of the aisle are beginning to consider possible running mates.

According to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, the Democratic front-runner will be open to the possibility of an all-female ticket.

“We’ll start with a broad list and then begin to narrow it down,” said Podesta to the Boston Globe. “But there is no question that there will be women on that list.”

For many, this raises suspicions that Clinton will try to tap Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who is wildly popular among some leftists for her far-left progressive ideology.

As the Democratic primary becomes more and more contentious, Clinton will need to find a means of creating inroads with disenfranchised supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Warren may very well serve that purpose.

Warren is seen as an outsider of sorts who opposes the status quo through her relentless attacks on Wall Street and campaign contributions, a particular point of contention among supporters of Sanders. Ted Cruz’s Father Just Said Something Appalling When Comparing Hillary and Trump

8555644389_7a46af4855_bThe father of Sen. Ted Cruz said in a interview published Tuesday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would be a better choice for president of the United States than Donald Trump.

Rafael Cruz, who has been very active on the campaign trail for his son, told Breitbart that the billionaire businessman “would be worse than Hillary Clinton” as president.

“We’ve got to realize, Donald Trump is more of a Democrat than a Republican,” Cruz said. “He has been funding Democrats like [New York Sen.] Chuck Schumer, like Sen. Harry Reid, like Anthony Weiner, like [New York Mayor Bill] de Blasio and many others.”

The elder Cruz, an evangelist, added, “For 40 years he has been supporting all these ultra-liberal politicians. He would be worse than Hillary Clinton, but he cannot beat Hillary Clinton. … Polls show that Donald Trump would lose and would lose by a landslide.”

Cruz doubts that the GOP front-runner will reach the 1,237 delegates he needs to secure the Republican nomination prior to the convention, and if he does not, the father of Trump’s closest GOP rival does not believe Trump will win it Cleveland.

Not surprisingly, the elder Cruz thinks he knows who the winner will be. “I believe that my son will get the nomination, if not by the second ballot, maybe by the third ballot. As we get into the convention and delegates are released, we’ll see Sen. Cruz’s support increase more and more. And I am convinced that he will get the nomination,” Cruz said. Clinton vs. Trump – the Hand We’ve Been Dealt

maxresdefault (99)The presidential contest that no one ever expected and many claim not to want is back on track and coming to your ballot box this fall.

Hillary Clinton rebounded from seven straight primary losses to Bernie Sanders to win big in yesterday’s New York Democratic primary. Donald Trump is sure to regain his momentum in the Republican presidential contest with his blow-out victory in the Empire State; Ted Cruz was a far, far distant third, suggesting he has little or no chance of winning states in the more diverse northeast and putting an enormous question mark next to his bid to be president.

Next Tuesday’s primaries in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware and Rhode Island all appear much friendlier to Clinton and Trump than to their rivals.

Even before yesterday’s primary, Clinton was seen as the likely nominee by 91% of voters in her party, with a record high 62% saying her nomination is Very Likely. Republican voters still view Trump as their likeliest nominee, although he has lost ground in recent weeks, but this Friday’s Trump Change survey is sure to show a turnaround for the billionaire businessman following his biggest primary win to date . . .

If Trump keeps winning primaries and adding delegates, it’s equally difficult to imagine the GOP elders denying him the nomination at the party’s national convention in July even if he’s a few votes short of the 1,237 total needed to claim victory. Cruz, who is nothing if not politically astute, is unlikely to see a path to victory in November by snatching delegates away from Trump at the convention after coming in second or third in most of the remaining primaries. LYIN’ HILLARY: On 9/11/2012, She Told Egyptian PM the Benghazi Attack ‘Had Nothing to Do With the Film’

25982411775_211b8a8ce7_bJudicial Watch has obtained new documents from the Department of State containing the telephone transcripts from the evening of September 11, 2012, in which then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton informs then-Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Kandil that the deadly terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi “had nothing to do with the film.” The documents include previously unreleased telephone transcripts with world leaders about the Benghazi attack.

Clinton’s admission to Kandil was first produced to the Select Committee on Benghazi on October 13, 2015 and publicized on the day of Mrs. Clinton’s testimony, October 22, but court filings in Judicial Watch litigation show that the record was only produced after two federal court judges ordered the State Department to produce more Benghazi-related records to Judicial Watch. Similarly, Judicial Watch litigation also forced the release of the September 11, 2012 email in which Secretary of State Hillary Clinton informed her daughter by email that the attack had been staged by an “Al Qaeda-like group,” rather than as the result of “inflammatory material posted on the Internet,” as Mrs. Clinton had claimed in her official public statement one hour earlier.

The State Department previously told a federal court that the Kandil document wasn’t responsive to Judicial Watch’s request and resulting lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01511)) seeking:

Any and all records concerning, regarding, or related to notes, updates, or reports created in response to the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This request includes, but is not limited to, notes taken by then Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton or employees of the Office of the Secretary of State during the attack and its immediate aftermath.

But the State Department then produced this information last month to Judicial Watch. The records, the State Department told the Court, were found among thousands of new Clinton State Department records supposedly only discovered in December, 2015 – again, two months after the key Kandil document was first produced to the Benghazi Committee.

Under court order, the State Department released 11 documents responsive to the Judicial Watch request with large blocks of information redacted. The documents also include phone conservations between Clinton and other foreign dignitaries and heads of state during the period of the deadly terrorist attack on the Benghazi consulate.

At 10:08 p.m. on September 11, Mrs. Clinton issued an official State Department press statement, approved by the White House, placing the blame for the attack on an Internet video:

Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.

Yet the next day, in her 7:49 PM September 12 conversation with Kandil, Clinton said, “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack – not a protest.” Kandil responded, “You’re not kidding. Based on the information we saw today we believe that group that claimed responsibility for this is affiliated with al-Qaeda.”

On September 15, in a telephone call with then-Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr, Clinton emphatically portrayed the “stupid, very offensive film” as the root cause of the Benghazi violence. Clinton told Amr, “I have repeatedly, as has the President and other officials in our government, deplored not only the content of this stupid, very offensive film… But we have to exercise more self-discipline… otherwise we’ll be in a vicious downward circle against everyone who has ever felt offended, particularly on the internet….”

Clinton’s telephone call with Amr also contained a curious reference to what the former secretary referred to as a “very successful investment visit led by my deputy Tom Nides, and on the very day they left this series of incidents began to unfold.” According to the Washington Post, Nides, who was deputy secretary for management and resources at the State Department, was at the same time responsible for “communications with donors” to the Clinton Foundation. Nides was also involved in the scandal involving Clinton’s efforts to provide special access to State Department officials for hedge fund clients of her son-in-law, Marc Mezinsky.

In a September 12 call with the Afghan President Hamid Kharzi, Clinton says at some point they need to talk about “about religious feelings and insults and defamation.” Islamists seeks to criminalize criticism (“defamation”) of Islam. The Obama administration worked closely with advocates for restrictions on free speech as part of their Benghazi video pr campaign.

The documents also show that Clinton referenced the “actions of a mob” to Tunisian Prime Minister Jebali on September 14. Jebali responded that he condemned “these terrorist actions.”

“There are two scandals here. The first is Hillary Clinton was telling different stories to different foreign leaders about the Benghazi attack – including an admission that it was a terrorist attack,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The second is the State Department’s cover-up of these documents. The State Department is forcing Judicial Watch to play ‘whack-a-mole’ with Clinton and Benghazi documents. It is no wonder that two frustrated federal court judges granted Judicial Watch discovery into the Clinton FOIA issues.” (For more from the author of “LYIN’ HILLARY: On 9/11/2012, She Told Egyptian PM the Benghazi Attack ‘Had Nothing to Do With the Film'” please click HERE)

Hillary Clinton Receives Rude Awakening by Bernie Supporters

Hillary_Clinton_speaking_at_Families_USA (2)Award-winning Hollywood actor and political activist George Clooney voiced his support for Hillary Clinton and even held a $33,400 per plate fundraiser at his Los Angeles home over the weekend. But the invited guests were not the only ones who showed up for the event. Bernie Sanders counter-protesters were also prepared with their own party crashing plans.

Sanders supporters lined the streets outside Clooney’s home, holding posters. One poster was designed to resemble an Exxon logo and had the words written, “Big Oil 4 Hillary: We Fracking Love You.” Others lifted “Feel the Bern” posters. However, it was what the protesters did when Clinton drove by in her motorcade that drew the most attention. As Clinton’s armored car drove past, protesters showered the car with dollars bills, and blasted the 1930’s song “We’re in the Money.”

One of Clooney’s Sanders supporting neighbors, Howard Gold, even held his own per person fundraiser at a cost of only $27 per person. Rubbing the per person savings in Clooney’s face, the protesters held up signs reading “Feel the Bern: Only $27.”

Gold, who founded the 99 Cents Store chain of retail outlets, dubbed his counter event the “99% Party” in reference to Clinton and Clooney representing the richest 1 percent of Americans, while the working class are the 99 percent. The $27 price was a reference to the average donation Sanders’ supporters donate. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Receives Rude Awakening by Bernie Supporters” HERE)

Why Cruz Could Beat Clinton

6236460755_af70e60869_bThe main reason Cruz will be competitive for the presidency is the fundamental reality of the 2016 election. With the backdrop of a disaffected electorate and a deeply polarizing president leaving office after two terms, any Republican nominee benefits from being the candidate of change. Democrats are also dealing with their own deepening intra-party divide—one that, if it weren’t for the headline-grabbing rise of Donald Trump, would be the defining theme of the 2016 elections . . .

Cruz brings some unheralded assets to the race, even as a weaker-than-usual Republican nominee.

First, he has a lot more opportunity to reorient his campaign message for a general election than Clinton has in refurbishing her run-down image. Cruz critics assume his mediocre favorability numbers will get even worse in a general election, but his public standing is bound to improve if Republicans rally around him as the nominee. And if Cruz is so power-hungry, as his critics claim, it’s easy to imagine him making the necessary compromises to win a presidential election. He’s never going to be likable, but he has opportunities to soften his rough edges . . .

Second, the polling points to a competitive general election between Clinton and Cruz. National polls show the race within 3 points (according to the RealClearPolitics average), with reputable state polls showing Cruz tied with her in blue-state Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Cruz consistently runs far more competitively against Clinton than Trump does. Her numbers have been consistently weak despite a fairly civil primary campaign in which Bernie Sanders has mostly stuck to issues, and avoided raising questions about her personal integrity.

Third, Cruz is the most likely Republican to hold together a fraying coalition at the Cleveland convention. He’s locked down the traditional conservative base, he has half-hearted backing from the establishment (thanks to Trump), and, not long ago, he was considered the clear second-choice candidate for Trump backers. Trump would divide the party, and nominating a “white knight” candidate would risk alienating the clear majority of GOP voters who have backed outsider, antiestablishment candidates this year. What Was Wrong With Hillary During Her Recent Radio Interview? [+video]

25982302985_7cf1db94e3_bFormer Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had another coughing episode this morning during a radio interview with New York city radio show The Breakfast Club.

Excuse me,” she said coughing, after speaking for about 20 minutes on the air.

“Allergy season,” she said, as she continued coughing, reaching for her drink.

“You all right? Any mouth to mouth CPR?” one of the hosts joked, trying to lighten the mood.

“Senator, you coughing like you have something medicinal,” another host said. (Read more from “What Was Wrong With Hillary During Her Recent Radio Interview?” HERE)

Clinton Insider Just Made Stunning Admission About Hillary’s Emails–’Wouldn’t Be Surprised If…’

maxresdefault (92)Lanny Davis, former President Bill Clinton’s White House Counsel from 1996-1998, is a close friend and adviser to both the former president and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. In an interview on DC’s WMAL AM 630 with Larry O’Conner and Brian Wilson, Davis revealed new information about the state of Clinton’s email debacle.

Host Wilson said a hacker known as Guccifer, who hacked Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal’s personal emails which were published in Russian news outlets immediately following Benghazi, had been extradited to the United States. Allegedly, the FBI is consulting with Guccifer while conducting its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information.

“Do you think you still want to stand by and the Clintons want to stand by the statement that her server (private home-based server) was never hacked, never infiltrated?” Wilson asked Davis.

Davis replied, “Well, I think the answer is there’s no evidence that the server so far hasn’t been hacked but wouldn’t be surprised that if she had been hacked.” Citing instances where State Department servers had previously been hacked by the Chinese and the Russians, David said the hacking of Clinton’s server it isn’t outside the realm of “possibility.”

Davis defended Clinton saying “ninety percent” of her emails were sent to state.gov email addresses and, since the State Department’s server has already been hacked, her emails were likely hacked, as well. “I wouldn’t be surprised [if Clinton’s private email server had been hacked] because the federal government itself has been hacked,” Davis concluded. Commander-In-Chief Hillary? Not So Fast!

2232632457_e3e1328a1d_oPerhaps Hillary Clinton will get the Democratic presidential nomination . . .

But will she be able to survive the storm brewing from a series of investigative articles, books, movies and surprise witnesses about to unload on her character, her past, her secrets and her blunders? . . .

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

A series of investigative reports to be published in WND coinciding with Judicial Watch’s upcoming questioning of Hillary Clinton and her top aides, including Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills. That’s right. It looks like there is no stopping Judicial Watch from deposing Clinton and her two top aides . . .

The FBI’s massive criminal investigation is expected to continue through June with the strong possibility of a recommendation to the Justice Department for indictments.

Even if the Justice Department does what is expected, given the inappropriate public lobbying on behalf of Hillary’s supposed innocence by Obama and Joe Biden, how will FBI Director James Comey react? Will he take refusal to prosecute a national security case sitting down? Not likely, say insiders. How would a very public resignation by the FBI director over this matter look in the heat of a presidential campaign?

ABSCAM Agents to FBI Chief: Bureau’s ‘Reputation’ on the Line in Clinton Probe

9508143003_7bc26d1090_bFormer FBI agents who worked the notorious 1970s sting operation known as ABSCAM have written FBI Director James Comey to warn that nothing less than the bureau’s “reputation” is on the line as the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email practices enters a critical phase.

The agents, in a March 16 letter obtained by Fox News, offered their support for Comey and the agents working the email case. But the letter cautioned the outcome would have long-lasting implications.

“Decisions must be made on facts alone. Much is at stake here — people’s trust in the Bureau for years to come, as well as the Bureau’s reputation among our allies, partners, and friends as the greatest law enforcement agency in the world,” wrote John F. Good, president of the Long Island Chapter of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI.

Good told Fox News a half-dozen FBI agents who worked the 1978 ABSCAM investigation – which targeted sitting members of Congress — belong to the chapter. The ABSCAM investigation included more than 30 political figures, with six House members and one U.S. senator ultimately convicted of crimes. The investigation was depicted in the 2013 Golden Globe-winning movie “American Hustle,” in which Bradley Cooper played an agent based on Good and others.
