Clinton Donors Say Sanders Is Raising More than the Front-Runner

Hillary Clinton’s donors say they think Bernie Sanders will raise more money in the fourth quarter than their candidate for the first time ever — a testament to the underdog’s online cash juggernaut and a harbinger of donor fatigue among the front-runner’s backers.

Clinton campaign officials said she remains on track to reach her goal of $100 million for the primary by the end of the year; she had already collected $77 million by the end of the third quarter.

But Sanders nearly matched Clinton in the most recent quarter — raising an eye-popping $26 million to Clinton’s $28 million — and multiple fundraising sources on Clinton’s team told POLITICO they expect the Vermont senator to beat her when the next financial disclosures are filed on Jan. 30, just before the Iowa caucuses.

“People are feeling very complacent — and more reluctant to contribute — because they don’t take Bernie Sanders that seriously,” top Clinton donor Alan Patricof told POLITICO. “They look at the other side and think, how could anyone possibly back any one of them? The attitude of sensible people is that she’s the only one who makes any sense.” None of the donors or campaign insiders POLITICO spoke with Monday disputed the notion that Sanders was on track to beat them in the end-of-year cash race.

Low-balling your candidate’s fundraising totals is a time-honored practice in presidential politics: If Clinton somehow manages to come out on top, her campaign can portray the quarter as exceeding expectations — no easy feat in a race where she is leading Sanders by 20 to 30 percentage points nationally. Hillary’s Bizarre Brief Absence from This Weekend’s Debate Explained

Coverage of the Saturday night Democratic debate has focused on Bernie Sanders’ apology to Hillary Clinton for his staff’s poor judgment in viewing her campaign’s proprietary data. But Clinton issued a “sorry’’ of her own — although for a far less serious matter.

Clinton apologized to a live television audience for returning late from the ladies’ room after the break.

The reason is one many women are familiar with: An unexpected line for the loo. While Clinton waited for the ladies’ room to clear out, time ticked down and the debate organizers allowed the show to go on without her.

What viewers didn’t know was the sole women’s bathroom was a little further than the men’s room from the stage. And when the debate went to a long commercial break Clinton lost out to Lis Smith, the caffeine-guzzling deputy campaign manager for former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, who beat her to the restroom. Smith declined to comment for the story.

A top Clinton staffer who was strategically posted outside the bathroom (presumably to avoid these kinds of situations) gave Smith a verbal OK to make a quick pit stop, according to one person familiar with the ladies’ line. Hillary Just Made This Horrible Claim About the Relatives of Benghazi Heroes

Our news media are so overwhelmingly obsequious to the Democrats that Hillary Clinton can imply the relatives of the Americans killed in Benghazi are liars on national TV, and no one in the press blinks an eye or finds it newsworthy.

ABC is about to host another one of those hide-and-seek Saturday night Democrat debates. There is something very ironic here: It was on this network where she made that outrageous statement.

Clinton lied to her former employee (and donor) George Stephanopoulos on his ABC program “This Week” on Dec. 6. In his toughest question of the day, George told his pal, “Some GOP rivals and family members of the Benghazi victims are saying you lied to them in the hearing. They point to emails that you sent the night of Benghazi attack, one to your daughter, Chelsea Clinton, saying… ‘Two of our officers were killed in Benghazi by an al-Qaida-like group.'” He added that she had told the Egyptian prime minister on a phone call on Sept. 12, 2012, “We know that the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film.”

Clinton denied ever telling the Benghazi relatives that it could be blamed on an anti-Muhammad video: “No. … I understand the continuing grief at the loss that parents experienced with the loss of these four brave Americans. And I did testify, as you know, for 11 hours. And I answered all of these questions. Clinton: 92 Percent of Americans Support Suing Gun Manufacturers for Gun Crime

During the December 10 airing of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton said “92 percent” of Americans support “common sense measures” like opening up gun makers and sellers to lawsuits over gun crime.

Clinton said, “Most people in America–92 percent the last I checked…support these common sense measures–universal background checks, closing the gun show loophole, closing the online and Charleston loophole, and doing whatever we can to appeal the immunity from all liability that gun makers and sellers have.”

Her claims run counter to reality, and that is because she is seizing on lingering support for one type of gun control–expanded background checks–then transliterating that support to other types of gun control, as well as to punitive actions toward the 15 billion dollar gun industry. Breitbart News previously reported that Americans in many regions of our country have somehow failed to recognize that expanded background checks are gun control’s Trojan Horse. In other words, expanded–or universal–background checks are insidious measures that lead to the passage of more and more more gun control. Conservative Group Calls for Federal Inquiry into Hillary Clinton Son-In-Law Request

Photo Credit: Time A conservative watchdog group has called for another federal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s communications during her time as Secretary of State, accusing Clinton of giving special government access to an investor in a deep-sea mining company because of his connections to Clinton’s son-in-law.

The group, called the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), plans to file a complaint with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics on Monday.

“It appears that then Secretary Hillary Clinton gave a private company special access to the State Department based upon the company’s relationships with Secretary Clinton’s family members and donors to the Clinton Foundation,” the group says in the complaint first obtained by TIME.

The complaint comes two weeks after emails released by the State Department show that Clinton followed up on a special request from Marc Mezvinsky, Chelsea Clinton’s husband.

In May 2012, Harry Siklas, an investor in a deep-sea mining firm called Neptune Minerals, asked Mezvinsky to connect him with officials at the State Department in order to discuss mining regulations affecting his investments. Siklas noted he was lobbying for access on behalf of a friend who had founded the deep-sea mining firm. Security Committee Chair: Hillary, Obama to Blame for ISIS

The Republican chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, claiming that the U.S. faces its highest security threat since 9/11, on Wednesday put the blame for it and the rise of the Islamic State squarely on President Obama and his former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton.

“I would say that she and the president are responsible for ISIS rearing its ugly head. They have not effectively dealt with it and that’s going to be a huge campaign issue,” said Rep. Michael McCaul.

The Texas lawmaker said that Clinton failed early in her term as the nation’s top diplomat to handle the Iraq war and stem the resulting terrorism. He said that her policies “imploded Iraq and creates ISIS.” He spoke to reporters at a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.

The Most Frightening Thing About a Hillary Clinton Presidency

Rumors of Hillary Clinton’s poor physical and mental condition have persisted for years.

Last month, State Department emails obtained by Judicial Watch revealed that Clinton’s close personal aide Huma Abedin (who has well-documented ties to the terror group the Muslim Brotherhood) warned colleagues that Clinton’s mental stability appeared to be deteriorating:

Abedin advised Clinton aide and frequent companion Monica Hanley that it was “very important” to go over phone calls with Clinton because the former Secretary of State was “often confused…”

The emails, from Abedin’s “[email protected]” address, also reveal repeated security breaches, with the Secretary’s schedule and movements being sent and received through Abedin’s non-governmental and unsecured Clinton server account…

… The emails document requests for special State Department treatment for a Clinton Foundation associate and Abedin’s mother, a controversial Islamist leader.

This week, on three separate occasions, Clinton seemed to affirm Abedin’s cautions, demonstrating significant confusion that raised the eyebrows of the media:

• “Talking Iran, Hillary gets confused about the nuclear option and military option”

• “Hillary Clinton Can’t Remember Her Plan To Deal With the National Debt”

• “Hillary Clinton confuses question on ‘hemp’ with one on a ‘hip replacement’”

So we have a potential president who appears to have obvious and troubling issues with mental acuity.

Furthermore, her most trusted personal aide and proxy, Huma Abedin, is linked — both directly and through family ties — to the terrorist group the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood, in addition to being a notorious sponsor of Islamic terror worldwide, traces its lineage directly back to Nazi Germany.

So one does not have to be overly paranoid to imagine that Hillary’s personal version of Valerie Jarrett, i.e., a senior aide reputed to make many of the decisions in the White House, would be a potential Islamist sympathizer and/or conspirator.

Liberals Praise New Clinton Ad with Homosexuals Kissing

The Hillary Clinton campaign is out with an ad highlighting her record as an advocate for LGBT rights. The spot includes images of gay couples kissing each other.

The liberal website Slate praises Clinton for including same-sex kissing in her campaign ad, saying, “Given the distressingly puritanical rules that govern gay PDAs, it’s both impressive and heartening that Clinton includes gay kisses in her official campaign spots.”

“The ad forces viewers to confront images that might make them feel slightly uneasy, then encourages them to view such affection as a normal, healthy manifestation of adult intimacy.”

The Slate writer complains that, “it is a depressing but incontestable fact that most straight people—including many LGBT allies—are uncomfortable with the sight of same-sex kisses. Some straight people defend their disgust by pretending to be repulsed by all public kissing.”

Hillary Clinton Just Made This Insane Claim About What Will Happen If We Block Refugees

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton said Monday that blocking Syrian refugees from entering the United States would impair the ability of police officers to connect with the Muslim community.

Clinton, who wants to import thousands of Syrian refugees, told reporters in Reno that it would look bad not to let in Syrian refugees, and that might inflame Muslims against law enforcement.

“If you’re in law enforcement, … you want the people in the communities that you are looking to get information from to feel like they want to help you,” Clinton said at a Nevada roundtable. “And if the message from people who are running for president, for example, is that we don’t want to take any Muslims whatsoever, that’s not good for law enforcement.” (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Just Made This Insane Claim About What Will Happen If We Block Refugees” HERE)

Hillary Campaign Threatens Comedians For “Disgusting” Routines, Promises Laugh Factory Will Be “Put out of Business”

In what appears to be a first for a serious presidential contender, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is going after five comedians who made fun of the former Secretary of State in standup skits at a popular Hollywood comedy club.

A video of the short performance, which is less than three minutes, is posted on the website of the renowned club, Laugh Factory, and the Clinton campaign has tried to censor it. Besides demanding that the video be taken down, the Clinton campaign has demanded the personal contact information of the performers that appear in the recording. This is no laughing matter for club owner Jamie Masada, a comedy guru who opened Laugh Factory more than three decades ago and has been instrumental in launching the careers of many famous comics. “They threatened me,” Masada told Judicial Watch. “I have received complains before but never a call like this, threatening to put me out of business if I don’t cut the video” . . .

Masada told Judicial Watch that, as soon as the video got posted on the Laugh Factory website, he received a phone call from a “prominent” person inside Clinton’s campaign. “He said the video was disgusting and asked who put me up to this,” Masada said. The Clinton staffer, who Masada did not want to identify, also demanded to know the names and phone numbers of the comedians that appear in the video. Masada refused and hung up. He insists that the comedy stage is a sanctuary for freedom of speech no matter who is offended. “Just last night we had (Emmy-award winner) Dana Carvey doing Donald Trump and it was hilarious,” Masada said.
