Yes, Hillary’s Still the Inevitable Democratic Nominee

By David Catanese. The Associated Press has just called the Granite State Democratic primary for Bernie Sanders – and it’s a 15-point rout. It’s the second loss for Hillary Clinton in the presidential nominating contest after she narrowly dropped the Iowa caucuses to Sanders seven days prior.

Sanders’ crowd is beside themselves. The commentators on cable news are fanning doomsday scenarios. There are calls for a Clinton campaign leadership shake-up not only from talking heads, but from longtime family loyalists as well. Is it happening again? Could Clinton be upended in the Democratic primary for the second time in eight years?

This scenario is hypothetical. But given the polling that’s dribbled out over the last week, it now looks far from implausible. Sanders appears to be padding a lead in New Hampshire while beginning to threaten Clinton in Iowa – two polls even showed him tracking narrowly ahead in the first caucus state. The Vermont senator is also closing the national gap, slicing Clinton’s advantage to just 7 points in a new CBS/New York Times survey.

So if Clinton drops the first pair of early states to Sanders, is she cooked?

Not even close. (Read more from “Yes, Hillary’s Still the Inevitable Democratic Nominee” HERE)

NBC’s Todd to Hillary Clinton: ‘43% of Likely Democratic Caucus Goers Identify as Socialist’

By CNSNews.com Staff. On NBC’s “Meet the Press” today, anchor Chuck Todd asked former Secretary State Hillary Clinton about a Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register poll in which 43 percent of likely Iowa Democratic caucus goers described themselves as “socialist” while only 38 percent described themselves as “capitalist” . . .

Here is the exchange Todd and Clinton had about the result that indicated 43 percent of likely Democratic caucus goers described themselves as “socialist:”

Chuck Todd: “You know, another problem you may be having in Iowa is that you don’t ideologically fit. This was in the Des Moines Register poll this week: 43 percent of likely Democratic caucus goers identify as socialist. Only 38 percent of likely Democratic caucus goers identified themselves as a capitalist. You, in the last debate, said you were a capitalist. Bernie Sanders calls himself a Democratic socialist. If you don`t win Iowa, do you think that`s the reason?

Hillary Clinton: “Oh, I don’t know how people take all this information, but I support a free market economy. I support the competitiveness that has created the greatest economic engine in the history of the world. What I’m worried about is that it’s not continuing to do what it used to do, which is to give the vast majority of Americans the chance to get ahead and stay ahead.

This Might Be the Most Powerful Shot Trump Has Ever Taken at Hillary – It’s Not Anything He Said…

By Kevin Whitson. In what is becoming typical Donald Trump bravado, the provocateur is upping the ante on Hillary Clinton’s bid for president of the United States. The Desmoines Register reported Friday that Trump has rented out a movie theater at Urbandale, Iowa, and is giving away free tickets to the new film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

“Mr. Trump would like all Americans to know the truth about what happened at Benghazi,” said Trump’s Iowa campaign organizer Tana Goertz. The film, which does not directly mention President Obama or Hillary Clinton, is based on the actual events that took place in Benghazi, Libya when Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and two former Navy Seals Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty were killed by terrorists on September 11, 2012.

Hillary Clinton Defends Donald Trump

By Donovan Slack. He has said she “lies like crazy” and has “caused tremendous death.”

She has said he has “a penchant for sexism” and dinged him for “bigotry” and “bullying.”

But there is apparently one thing on which they agree: New York is awesome.

Hillary Clinton on Friday issued a personal tweet defending Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump against criticism from Texas Sen. Ted Cruz that Trump isn’t conservative enough because he has “New York values.”

Trump, Clinton tweeted, “just this once” was right when he came to the defense of New Yorkers. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Defends Donald Trump” HERE)

Family Feud? Clinton Spokesman Says Chelsea Went Rogue

By Daniel Halper. Earlier this week on the campaign trail, Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, attacked Bernie Sanders. It turns out, a Clinton spokesman told the press, the Chelsea Clinton attack was not a planned event.

Here’s how Chelsea Clinton attacked her mother’s Democratic rival: “Sen. Sanders wants to dismantle Obamacare, dismantle the CHIP program, dismantle Medicare, and dismantle private insurance. I don’t want to empower Republican governors to take away Medicaid, to take away health insurance for low-income and middle-income working Americans. And I think very much that’s what Sen. Sanders’ plan would do.”

But it was not a planned line — and signals Chelsea going rogue. (Read more from “Family Feud? Clinton Spokesman Says Chelsea Went Rogue” HERE)

Clinton’s Lead Is Evaporating, and Anxious Democrats See 2008 All Over Again

By Paul Kane. Some leading Democrats are increasingly anxious about Hillary Clinton’s prospects for winning the party’s presidential nomination, warning that Sen. Bernie Sanders’s growing strength in early battleground states and strong fundraising point to a campaign that could last well into the spring.

What seemed recently to be a race largely controlled by Clinton has turned into a neck-and-neck contest with voting set to begin in less than three weeks.

On Capitol Hill and in state party headquarters, some Democrats worry that a Sanders nomination could imperil candidates down the ballot in swing districts and states. Others sense deja vu from 2008, when Clinton’s overwhelming edge cratered in the days before the Iowa caucuses.

Just as Barack Obama’s stunning upset there helped assure Democrats in later states that a black man could win votes from whites and propelled him to victory in South Carolina and other places, so, too, could a Sanders victory on Feb. 1 in Iowa and then Feb. 9 in New Hampshire ease doubts about the viability of a self-described “democratic socialist,” some said. Former U.S. Attorneys Predict Criminal Charges in FBI’s Probe of Clinton Server

Two former U.S. attorneys said the FBI will likely reach a determination in the next few months in its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server, and based on publicly available evidence said the bureau could have a strong criminal case.

“I expect the FBI to conclude the investigation within 60 to 90 days and make a recommendation to the Justice Department, and I believe they will recommend a series of charges involving the classified information,” said Joseph DiGenova, who was U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia during the Reagan administration.

The FBI has been investigating whether classified information was mishandled over Clinton’s private email server since at least August. The probe reportedly has expanded to include contracts awarded by the State Department in relation to Clinton Foundation donors.

“These classified information cases are relatively simple cases to get into, and the FBI knows that what the Clinton people did with regard to her server was a clear violation of federal criminal law,” DiGenova added. “It is the negligent handling of classified information, which is prohibited by statute, and this is a gross example of it, and it dwarfs the information in the [David] Petraeus case.”

Matthew Whitaker, the former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa under President George W. Bush, said there is growing public evidence that laws were broken. (Read more from “Former U.S. Attorneys Predict Criminal Charges in FBI’s Probe of Clinton Server” HERE)

Hillary Clinton’s State Department Discussed Creating Riots in Israel

As incredible as it may sound, the US Ambassador to Israel, Thomas Pickering, pitched a plan to Hillary Clinton to use UN and Non-governmental organizations to foment riots in Israel as a way of forcing Israel to agree to concessions to the Palestinians.

In the aftermath of the fall of Egypt and Libya, the State department thought it had stumbled upon the perfect weapon to be used against dictators: street riots (you must break eggs to make omelets, n’est-ce pas), insurrection, and the a few US airstrikes. When it became clear that the future and the territorial integrity of Israel meant more to Benjamin Netanyahu that international acclaim given to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, it was only natural that they consider him an enemy and try to unleash the same strategy on him. Via The Washington Free Beacon:

Pickering described the effort as a potential “game changer in the region,” recommending that the United States undertake a clandestine campaign to generate unrest. Clinton requested that his email be printed.

“What will change the situation is a major effort to use non-violent protests and demonstrations to put peace back in the center of people’s aspirations as well as their thoughts, and use that to influence the political leadership,” Pickering wrote.

“This is far from a sure thing, but far, in my humble view, from hopeless,” he continued. “Women can and ought to be at the center of these demonstrations. Many men and others will denigrate the idea. I don’t and I don’t think that was your message.”

BOMBSHELL Claim: Something Major Is About to Happen to Bill Clinton That Could Be Hillary’s Undoing [+video]

Now that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has paraded out former President Bill Clinton as an official part of her campaign, a parade of accusers may also be emerging with accusations of assault against the former president, according to an author with extensive experience writing about the former president.

“I identified 24 women who’ve been assaulted by Bill Clinton,” said Roger Stone, author of The Clinton’s War On Women.

“Now, some of these women are still terrified. Some of them have had IRS audits. Some of them have had their families threatened. But others have come forward,” he said during on Sean Hannity’s syndicated radio show The Sean Hannity Show.

“Are you saying there’s women whose names we don’t know that are mentioned in your book or not mentioned in your book that are going to come forward and start telling those stories?” Hannity asked.

“Yes, I think it’s very probable,” Stone said. “Not all of them because some of them are still terrified, their families have been threatened, their lives have been threatened” . . .

“We’re talking about assaults,” said Stone. “I don’t want to get out ahead of myself, but I think as Broaddrick, and [Kathleen] Willey, and Jones speak out, other women are encouraged who have been assaulted, who have been threatened by Hillary, are encouraged by the courage of those three women.” (Read more from “BOMBSHELL Claim: Something Major Is About to Happen to Bill Clinton That Could Be Hillary’s Undoing” HERE)

Smoking Gun: Email Suggests Hillary Broke Law

The latest batch of Hillary Clinton emails released by the State Department early Friday contain what may be the smoking gun that forces the Justice Department to charge the former secretary of state with a crime, according to former federal prosecutor Joseph diGenova.

“This is gigantic,” said diGenova. “She caused to be removed a classified marking and then had it transmitted in an unencrypted manner. That is a felony. The removal of the classified marking is a federal crime. It is the same thing to order someone to do it as if she had done it herself.”

On the June 17, 2011, email chain with senior State Department adviser Jake Sullivan, Clinton apparently asked Sullivan to change the marking on classified information so that it is no longer flagged as classified.

Clinton, using her private email server, asks for “the TPs,” apparently a reference to talking points being prepared for her. Sullivan, who is using his official State Department email, responds, “They say they’ve had issues sending secure fax. They’re working on it.” Clinton responds, “If they can’t, turn into nonpaper w[ith] no identifying heading and send nonsecure.”

It’s not clear if Sullivan actually followed through on Clinton’s orders. But if he did, it may expose Clinton to serious legal jeopardy. (Read more from “Smoking Gun: Email Suggests Hillary Broke Law” HERE)

Ex-Agent: Secret Service Too Cozy With Clinton, Press Interference ‘Dangerous’

The latest case of U.S. Secret Service agents blocking reporters from asking Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton are “dangerous,” and could lead to media being threatened for getting too close to the candidate, according to a long-time former agent.

Dan Bongino, who was on Clinton’s security detail when she ran for the Senate in 2008, told Secrets, “This is dangerous. This is a dangerous development.”

He explained: “It’s dangerous because you have an arm of the federal government now de facto controlling access for a free press to a major presidential candidate. I mean, where does it end? What’s next, do you start threatening people for asking questions?”

Bongino, author of the new book “The Fight, A Secret Service Agent’s Inside Account of Security Failings and the Political Machine,” added, “When you get the guys with guns involved, you start breaching a dangerous red line here. This is a staff function only.”

Clinton’s agents were criticized last year when they roped off reporters covering Clinton’s participation in a parade. (Read more from “Ex-Agent: Secret Service Too Cozy With Clinton, Press Interference ‘Dangerous'” HERE)
