When asked by presenter Justin Webb if she would be getting involved in politics, Jolie said that her answer 20 years ago would have been no, but now the answer is more complicated.

“If you asked me 20 years ago, I would’ve laughed,” she said. “I always say I’ll go where I’m needed, I don’t know if I’m fit for politics… but then I’ve also joked that I don’t know if I have a skeleton left in my closet. I’m also able to work with governments and I’m also able to work with militaries, and so I sit in a very interesting place of being able to get a lot done.”

Unlike other celebrities who have been floated as potential political candidates, Jolie actually does have legitimate credentials in the arena, being that she serves as a special envoy to the U.N. Refugee Agency and actively campaigns on various issues like refugees, sexual violence, and conservation. Though her father, Jon Voight, is a noted conservative, Jolie is a registered Independent. She also is not necessarily a card-carrying leftist in line with other celebrities and has presented a more balanced view of politics in the past. . .

In the social arena, however, Jolie is undoubtedly to the left-of-center. Nothing better illustrates that than the treatment of Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt of their daughter, Shiloh Jolie Pitt, after she insisted on being treated like a boy. . .

In 2014, LGBT enthusiasts hailed the two parents as “heroes” for turning their five-year-old daughter into a boy after she insisted they see her as such. Report: Video Exists of One of Kevin Spacey’s Inappropriate Advances

Last year, Kevin Spacey became a target of the “Me Too” movement when actor Anthony Rapp accused him of luring him to his apartment when he was just 14. He was one of now over a dozen other young men to accuse Spacey of sexual assault. . .

This week, we learned of a new case. An 18-year-old says Spacey touched him inappropriately at a Massachusetts bar in July 2016. The Guardian has more details about the incident. . . 

According to the report, the young man did not initially report the incident because he was afraid of getting in trouble for underage drinking. He reportedly took a one-second Snapchat video of it, however, which is now in police possession. He and his girlfriend say the video shows Spacey touching the teenager, but Spacey’s attorneys argue that it only shows their client touching the shirt of another person.

With yet another allegation public this week, Spacey decided to release a strange video entitled, “Let Me Be Frank,” in which he played his old “House of Cards” character Frank Underwood to claim innocence. It was his first Twitter post since October 2017.

Kevin Spacey Charged With ‘Indecent Assault and Battery’ for Alleged 2016 Incident

On Monday, Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced that actor Kevin Spacey has been charged with indecent assault and battery for a crime he allegedly committed in 2016, reports the Associated Press. . .

During a press conference in November 2017, [former news anchor Heather] Unruh detailed the allegations:

It happened late night inside the Club Car restaurant and bar on Nantucket island. The victim, my son, was a star-struck, straight, 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator, or that he was about to become his next victim. My son was not of legal age to drink alcohol. He told Kevin Spacey that he was of legal age. But whether he was over 21 or not, Kevin Spacey had no right to sexually assault him. There was no consent. Kevin Spacey bought him drink after drink after drink, and when my son was drunk, Spacey made his move and sexually assaulted him.

…Spacey stuck his hand inside my son’s pants and grabbed his genitals. This was completely unexpected, and my son’s efforts to shift his body to remove Spacey’s hand were only momentarily successful. The violation continued. My son panicked, he froze. He was intoxicated, and Kevin Spacey was insisting that he come with him to a private, after-hours party to drink even more.

Activists Suggest the Next James Bond Should Be TRANSGENDER

Activists — including high-profile British actor Dominic West — are encouraging the producers of the popular James Bond franchise to abandon 007’s traditional roots and cast a transgender individual as the next Bond.

Speaking to the Sunday Times of London, West claimed that there are enough transgender individuals in the UK’s military to justify making the next MI6 agent male-to-female (or female-to-male).

“They should have a transgender Bond because there are a lot of transgender people in the army. That’s actually a brilliant idea,” West said. . .

Activists probably won’t get their way anytime soon, however. Bond’s longtime producers, the Broccoli family, have often bristled at the thought of deliberately changing Ian Fleming’s signature character. The series’ executive producer, Barbara Broccoli, unequivocally ruled out the idea of a female Bond earlier this year.

Instead, viewers can expect a more “modern Bond” — but only up to a point. The character was written in the 1950s, and modeled on Fleming himself. Since the spy stories have an element of biography to them, Bond will probably always stay as toxically masculine as he currently is. Sacha Baron Cohen: We Stumbled Upon Possible Pedophile Ring During ‘Who Is America’ Taping, Notified FBI

Showtime host Sacha Baron Cohen revealed Wednesday that he stumbled upon what he thought could be a possible pedophile ring while taping his controversial summer series “Who is America?”

During a classic Baron Cohen-style fake interview, the comedian plays a character named Gio who eventually asks a Las Vegas concierge to get him an underaged boy as a “date.” After this concierge offered to put “Gio” in touch with a person who apparently procures such boys, Baron Cohen turned the troubling footage over to the FBI.

“We were shooting some of this at the time of Harvey Weinstein. We wanted to investigate how does someone like Harvey Weinstein gets away with doing what … get away with criminality, essentially. And the network that surrounds him. We decided that Gio would interview a concierge in Las Vegas,” Baron Cohen explained to Deadline.

“During the interview, I revealed that basically Gio has molested an eight-year-old boy,” he continued. “Now, mind you, this is extreme comedy and we thought that the guy would leave the room. Instead, this concierge stays in the room and I go, listen, you’ve got to help me get rid of the problem. And this guy starts advising Gio how to get rid of this issue. We even at one point talk about murdering the boy, and the concierge is just saying, ‘well, listen, I’m really sorry. In this country, we can’t just drown the boy. This is America we don’t do that.’ And then, in the end, he puts me in touch with a lawyer who can silence the boy.” . . .

A New Hollywood Sexual Assault Bombshell

Les Moonves was forced out as CBS CEO in September amid allegations he sexually harassed over a dozen actresses. He denied what he termed were “appalling” charges, but his resignation put a disgraceful end to his two decades at the network.

That, however, is not the end of the network’s controversies. On Friday, we learned that actress Eliza Dushku, star of “Dark Angel” and “Bull,” sued her co star Michael Weatherly over his unwanted advances and inappropriate language on set. She was paid $9.5 million in a secret settlement. . .

Among Weatherly’s inappropriate behavior was his joking about having a threesome with Dushku and taking her to his “rape van.” . . .

Once the reports came to light, however, Weatherly expressed some regret.

“During the course of taping our show, I made some jokes mocking some lines in the script,” Weatherly said in the statement. “When Eliza told me that she wasn’t comfortable with my language and attempt at humor, I was mortified to have offended her and immediately apologized. Hit List: Actor Finds the Hollywood Left’s Dirty Laundry… It’s Pretty Homophobic Too

The social justice warrior Twitter police are on the prowl. Any tweets deemed… problematic could land you in the doghouse, cost you hosting gigs, or ruin special moments, like young collegiate athletes winning the Heisman. Here’s the thing: no one cares. To many people who are rational, you know—folks who aren’t bleeding heart progressive cancers, no one cares what a 15-year-old says on social media. It’s not a reflection of who they are. Also, did I miss the memo where teenagers no longerdo dumb things? Of course they do. It’s part of growing up, which is why USA Todaygoing after Oklahoma University’s Kyler Murrayis straight trash. Apparently, the young Murray made some homophobic tweets…when he was 15 years old. Murray apologized, but he didn’t need to. In fact, he shouldn’t. . .

He’s not the only one who has faced the wrath of the Twitter police. Kevin Hart had to walk away from an Oscar hosting gig because of problematic tweets as well. . .

Hollywood Actress Pleads With God to Show He’s Real — and Gets a Shocking Response

Andrea Logan White and Kelly Stables, stars of “Malibu Dan the Family Man,” recently revealed some behind-the-scenes details about their popular sitcom. White, who plays Holidae Sinclair, and Stables, who portrays Kate Marshall, dove deep into their favorite bloopers, memorable moments, and more. . .

White proceeded to share specific details about the miraculous moment that forever changed her life. It all unfolded one day when she was around 22 years old and was having a hard time finding consistent acting work.

White was at a stoplight on Sunset Boulevard when she cried out to God with a simple request: “God, if you’re real, I need you to show me who you are, because I don’t know why I’m here, and I don’t want to live anymore.”

It was at that moment that a man in the car next to her beeped his horn and pointed to his radio, which was tuned to a Christian station. Then, he waved and drove away; White noticed that he had a bumper sticker on his car that read “Jesus loves me.”

Megastar’s Husband Warns Fire Looters to Beware of His 2nd Amendment Rights

Famed motocross competitor Carey Hart has issued a warning to looters taking advantage of those evacuating their homes to escape the California wildfires.

“It’s unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis. While the malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires,” Hart wrote in an Instagram post.

At least 50 people have been confirmed dead statewide in California as a result of a deadly wildfires raging through northern and southern parts of the state. Several celebrities are among those forced to evacuate their homes, tempting looters by leaving multimillion-dollar mansions behind.

To those looters, Hart says “think twice.”

“There have been sightings of looters breaking in to homes. Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into malibu. #DefendYourLand #2ndamendment.”

Hart is married to singer Pink, who tweeted in support of the firefighters working diligently to contain the blaze.

Hollywood Actor Tweets in Support of Gun Control – Accidentally Admits to Breaking Cali Law

Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher sent a tweet from his official account attempting to advocate for gun control in the wake of the horrible Thousand Oaks attack in California, but accidentally admitted to breaking the law himself. . .

The claim that his friend gave him a gun as a gift made many wonder if he was admitting to receiving a gun illegally in California without following proper registration procedures.

“I think Ashton Kutcher just admitted to violating California law,” responded NRA-TV host Cam Edwards.

“Firearms transfers have to go through a federally licensed firearms dealer who performs a background check and holds the firearm for the mandatory 10-day waiting period,” he explained.

The actor began his social media advocacy by revealing that he had celebrated one of his birthdays at the site of the Thousand Oaks massacre, and that he could have died if the killer has chosen a different night for his attack.
