Top Hunter Biden Prosecutor, FBI ‘Constricted’ Internal Communications, Testimony Shows

Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss and the FBI restricted information-sharing with former U.S. Attorney Scott Brady, who needed assistance from the Justice Department (DOJ) to maintain open lines of communication, according to new testimony.

Brady received support from the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General’s Office (PADAG) to facilitate communication with the FBI and Weiss, according to a transcript of Brady’s testimony to the House Judiciary Committee reviewed by the Daily Caller. Weiss is the lead prosecutor in the Hunter Biden investigation.

“This is between David and me, between Mr. Weiss and me. He and I would speak on a semi-regular basis, but usually it was when certain issues would rise up to us that we needed to speak directly and resolved,” Brady told the committee.

When Brady served as U.S. attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, he and Weiss spoke personally to share information regarding investigative matters. However, Brady faced challenges in getting the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s Office to communicate on a regular basis and needed assistance from the PADAG to facilitate discussions with Weiss, according to the transcript.

Biden Associate at Center of China Money Transfers Played Golf With Joe up to a Dozen Times, FBI Docs Show

Hunter Biden’s former business associate Rob Walker, who wired money from China to Biden family members, played golf with Joe Biden between “eight to twelve times,” he told the FBI in a December 2020 transcribed interview.

Walker spoke to the FBI about his role in Hunter Biden’s business enterprise with Chinese partners and described his golf outings with Joe Biden, according to a partially redacted transcript of his FBI interview.

“Okay. Have you met the V.P.?” FBI agent Wilson, whose first name is redacted in the transcript, asked.

“Yes,” Walker replied. Wilson appeared to press Walker about his interactions with Joe Biden.

“I mean I would get called and I’d.., I’d play golf with him probably eight to twelve times,” Walker stated.

Ukrainian Firm Tied to Hunter Planned Meetings With DC Lawmakers After Joe Biden Got Prosecutor Fired, Memo Shows

Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings planned on holding meetings with congressional lawmakers in Washington, D.C., shortly after then-Vice President Joe Biden successfully pressured Ukraine into firing its top prosecutor, according to a memo released in September.

Burisma was paying Hunter Biden more than $80,000 per month in spring 2016 when then-VP Biden successfully pressured Ukraine into firing Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor Shokin. The Ukrainian firm hoped to have meetings in D.C. with two senators and a house lawmaker right after the Ukrainian parliament voted to remove Shokin, according to an itinerary released by the House Ways and Means Committee in September.

Lobbying firm Blue Star Strategies planned on briefing Burisma on March 30, 2016, ahead of a meeting with the staff of then-Republican Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, a former member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and co-chair of the Senate Ukraine Caucus, the document shows.

Burisma representatives met with a staffer in Portman’s office but did not make any specific demands, according to a source familiar with the meeting. Portman did not know about the meeting and never spoke with Burisma, the source said. The Caller granted anonymity to speak on a sensitive issue. GOP Says DOJ Shut Down Potential Campaign Finance Prosecution in Hunter Case

House Republicans Friday accused the Department of Justice of quashing an investigation into a wealthy Democratic Party donor who helped pay off some of Hunter Biden’s unpaid taxes.

The House Ways and Means Committee pointed to the trove of material it obtained last month from IRS whistleblowers that included an allegation that a top prosecutor in the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware dismissed IRS agents’ worries about a potential campaign finance violation related to the donor, Kevin Morris.

The whistleblowers provided the material, which was used in the Department of Justice’s investigation into Hunter Biden, after they testified to Congress that they had witnessed the DOJ extend preferential treatment to Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, and allow statutes of limitations to expire for certain tax crimes that could have been brought against him.

Biden-Appointed Prosecutor Ignored Potential Conflict of Interest in Hunter Biden Case, Testimony Shows

Biden-appointed U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves does not believe he had a conflict of interest by playing a role in the Hunter Biden investigation.

Graves testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Oct. 3 and rejected the notion that his appointment by President Biden, work on Biden’s presidential campaign and donations to Biden posed a conflict of interest with his role in the Hunter Biden case, according to a transcript of his testimony reviewed by the Daily Caller.

Graves clarified that he was on an unpaid committee role for the Biden campaign and donated money to the campaign. He downplayed his communications with the Biden campaign when he took on the unpaid policy role.

“So I knew someone who had some affiliation to the campaign; said that I was interested in criminal justice issues. I got put on this committee, and my responsibilities, being on this committee, consisted of receiving emails from the committee that anybody basically, almost anybody who contributed. I had no direct interaction … or in direct interaction with anybody on the campaign,” Graves said. IRS Weighed Hunter Biden Felony Charge for Raiding Daughter’s College Fund After He Spent Most of It on Drugs, Hookers

The IRS considered hitting first son Hunter Biden with felony tax charges over his removal of nearly $40,000 from his daughter’s college fund and failure to report it as additional income on his 2019 returns — while still using much of the windfall to pay for crack cocaine and hookers.

IRS Special Agent Joseph Ziegler told the House Ways and Means Committee that federal tax investigators uncovered “approximately $39,820” that Hunter Biden, now 53, looted from his high school-aged daughter Maisy’s 529 college savings plan. . .

A few weeks prior, Hunter had dodged a family intervention and instead holed up in a hotel to smoke crack, according to his 2021 memoir “Beautiful Things.”

After liquidating Maisy’s college savings, he went even deeper into the throes of his addiction in the coming months, sending payments to his drug dealer, a webcam service and prostitutes in the following weeks, emails on his laptop show.

The IRS also found “personal distributions he had claimed as business deductions totaling approximately $12,791,” according to Ziegler’s affidavit to the House panel on the five-year federal probe into the first son’s finances. FBI Knew All About Joe and Hunter’s Business Dealings, Laptop Authenticity — And Did Nothing: Files

Within several days of The New York Post breaking its blockbuster 2020 story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, the FBI received a flash drive containing emails and text messages from the cellphones of one of Hunter’s business partners, confirming the contents of Hunter’s computer were real and not “disinformation,” as the FBI led social media and the public to believe.

On Oct. 23, 2020, forensic examiners from the FBI’s Computer Analysis and Response Team (CART) took into inventory the flash drive, which was loaded with the emails and texts from an iPhone and two Blackberry phones that Hunter’s former business associate Tony Bobulinski used to communicate with the president’s son about a lucrative joint venture with Chinese nationals.

The data on the flash drive covered the period from early 2015 through late 2017, according to the FBI report, known as an FD-302, which summarized the interview with Bobulinski.

“BOBULINSKI was aware that the emails published by the New York Post were legitimate because BOBULINSKI was copied on them and had records of the emails on his own cellular devices,” the interviewing agents wrote in their 13-page report.

By that point, Twitter had censored The Post’s report, based partly on the FBI’s warnings. And a group of 51 former intelligence officers, including FBI members, signed a letter suggesting the laptop was fake — even though many knew it was real. Exposed: Wires to Hunter From Beijing; Bidens Claimed They Didn’t Get ‘One Cent’

Hunter Biden denied receiving “one cent” from his family’s deal with BHR Partners associate Jonathan Li, a video from October 2019 shows.

In the summer of 2019, Hunter Biden received two wires totaling $260,000 originating from BHR Partners associates, including Li, that listed President Joe Biden’s Delaware home as the beneficiary address for the funds, the House Oversight Committee revealed this week. The fund is bankrolled by the Bank of China.

Months after receiving the bank wires in 2019, Hunter Biden told ABC News he did not receive one penny from Li. . .

“Have you received any money from that business dealing?” an ABC News reporter asked Hunter Biden. . .

“Not one cent,” Hunter Biden claimed.

James Biden Admits to FBI: Family Tried to Help Chinese Firm Buy U.S. Energy Assets

James Biden, brother of President Joe Biden, confirmed to the FBI last year that his family tried to help CEFC China Energy Co. purchase a U.S. liquid natural gas facility in Louisiana, according to documents released Wednesday by the House Ways and Means Committee.

CEFC, closely linked to the CCP and Chinese President Xi Jinping, was chaired by Ye Jianming, an associate of Hunter Biden. James Biden told the FBI he personally met once with Jianming about CEFC’s interest in acquiring the liquid natural gas facility.

“James B noted that RHB portrayed CEFC to him as Chairman Ye was a protégé of President Xi,” FBI agents noted in a memo.

“James B recalled that the life changing meeting was the deal with Monkey Island. Monkey Island was off the coast of Louisiana near the Gulf of Mexico. James B stated that there was room for a port to be developed and that the properties were pre-approved,” the FBI memo said. “The island was 50-100 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and that there was a clear passage to offload and load gas. Banana Republic: DOJ Investigators Ordered to ‘Remove Any Reference’ to Joe Biden in FARA Warrant

An email released Wednesday by the House Ways and Means Committee shows Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf ordered investigators in August 2020 to remove any reference to “Political Figure 1” from a search warrant. A document subsequently released showed that President Joe Biden is “Political Figure 1.”

“As a priority, someone needs to redraft attachment B,” Wolf wrote in an email. “I am not sure what this is cut and pasted from but other than the attribution location, and identity stuff at the end, none of it is appropriate and within the scope of this warrant.”

“Please focus on FARA [Foreign Agents Registration Act] evidence only. There should be nothing about Political Figure 1 in here,” she added.

A second document the committee released Wednesday showed “Political Figure 1” is “Former Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.”

The document says:

VP BIDEN is currently the Democratic Party Presidential candidate for the United States and served as the 47th officeholder for the position of the Office of the Vice President of the United States (VPOTUS) in the Barack Obama Administration from January 20, 2009 to January 20, 2017. He is the father of SUBJECT 1.
