‘Squad’ Members Confuse Memorial Day With Veterans Day

“Squad” members Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Cori Bush (D-MO) appeared to confuse Memorial Day — a day to honor fallen American service members — with Veterans Day, a day to honor those who have served.

Omar posted on X from her congressional account:

On #MemorialDay, we honor the heroic men and women who served our country.

We owe them more than our gratitude — they have more than earned access to quality mental health services, job opportunities, housing assistance, and the benefits they were promised.

Bush posted on her congressional X account:

This #MemorialDay & every day, we honor our veterans in St. Louis.

We must invest in universal health care, affordable housing, comprehensive mental health services, and educational & economic opportunities for our veterans as we work to build a world free of war and violence.

After both received flak from X users for not knowing the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day, they deleted their posts.

‘Squad’ Member’s Daughter Suspended From College for Anti-Israel Activity

Isra Hirsi, Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s daughter, claimed Thursday that she had been “suspended” from Barnard College due to her pro-Palestinian activity.

Hirsi tweeted that she had previously never received a reprimand or “any disciplinary warnings” prior to this alleged suspension. She attributed this decision to her “suspended for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide” and alleged that two other students received suspensions for similar reasons. . .

Hirsi was reportedly arrested over her refusal to leave an illegal anti-Israel encampment at Columbia University, the Daily Wire noted. Photos shared by Twitter user Shayoni Mitra allegedly show Hirsi being escorted by police appears to verify this claim.

House Ousts Ilhan Omar From Foreign Affairs Committee in Party Line Vote

The House voted Thursday along party lines to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from her seat on the Foreign Affairs Committee through a resolution that cites her past derogatory remarks about Jewish people and anti-Israel posture.

The vote passed 218 to 211, with all Democrats voting against the resolution and one Republican, Rep. David Joyce (R-OH), voting “present.”

The vote is a win for House Republicans, who hold a slim majority in the chamber, after a few from their conference initially objected to the resolution. The three who had vocally opposed it, Reps. Victoria Spartz (R-IN), Nancy Mace (R-SC), and Ken Buck (R-CO), had flipped their vote by Thursday morning.

Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), a key player in the successful whip operation, told Breitbart News in an exclusive statement that Omar, a fellow Minnesotan, had “no place representing American interests” on the Foreign Affairs Committee.

“There is no debate that Ilhan Omar, the face of antisemitism in the Democrat Party, has no place representing American interests on the Foreign Affairs Committee. Ilhan Omar Reacts to Kevin McCarthy Pulling Her From Committees

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) on Sunday condemned House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) plans to kick her off the House Foreign Affairs Committee as hypocritical.

Omar was asked about McCarthy’s repeated promises to yank her committee assignments during an appearance on MSNBC’s Yasmin Vossoughian Reports. The progressive lawmaker was specifically questioned about if there were any developments on the matter in the days since McCarthy had secured the speaker’s gavel.

“I have not [received any updates],” Omar said. “It’s my understanding that we obviously have to get the rules package done. Hopefully, Monday when we reconvene, that is on top of the agenda, and then the different caucuses, our caucus and their conference, will make appointments to committees and we will go from there.”

Ilhan Omar: Trump, Republicans Mentioning My Name Causes Uptick of Death Threats – ‘They Have to Be Held Accountable’

Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said Friday on MSNBC’s “Alex Wagner Tonight” that when former President Donald Trump or other Republicans mention her name, she receives a direct uptick in death threats.

During a discussion on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband, Paul Pelosi, being attacked in his San Francisco Home early Friday morning, Wagner said, “Marjorie Taylor Greene, she has previously said that speaker Pelosi is a traitor to our country. She is guilty of treason. She gives aid and comfort to our enemies.”

Omar said, “We should not live in fear just because we have decided to serve our country, our constituents, and want the ability to shape the way in which our country is governed. What the Republicans have put out in those statements that you read to me – I just want the audience to realize that it is dangerous. It is delusional, and it is disturbing. Pastor Dishes Real Story Behind Song on Flight That Triggered Ilhan Omar

A song sung aboard an airliner by a team of Christians who had been ministering in Ukraine happened just because they wanted to keep up their hopes for those in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s bull’s-eye.

That’s according to the pastor who led the song, according to a report in the Christian Post.

It was, of course, a video of that chorus that triggered Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, who posted a snarky response about her family having a prayer time aboard an airline.

The video was posted by Pastor Jack Jensz Jr. and has had more than 35 million views – so far.

The Christian Post explained, “The song came on the heels of Jensz and his team being spiritually high because of what they saw God do while serving at the Ukrainian border. Republican congressional candidate Shukri Abdirahman went after her opponent, “Squad” member and Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, in her latest campaign ad.

A Muslim Army veteran, Abdirahman posted the campaign ad to Twitter under the caption, “Ilhan Omar was given a second chance when America took her in — but chose to ridicule the very country that saved her life.”

“Minneapolis just saw one of the most violent years on record,” Abdirahman told Fox, before noting that Omar had previously said that she would make it her life’s mission to make sure the police are defunded. . .

She then called out said elites, saying they “disappear” and “abandon us after election season is over.” Images of Omar and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi flash on the screen, but Abdirahman does not name them directly in the video. Pelosi Fast-Tracks ‘Anti-islamophobia’ Bill to Appease Omar Over Stupid Joke

The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on a bill on Tuesday that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi fast-tracked to appease leftist Rep. Ilhan Omar after she took offense to a stupid joke made by Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert.

At a recent event, Boebert referred to Omar as being part of the “Jihad Squad.”

“I looked to my left and there she is: Ilhan Omar. And I said, ‘Well, she does not have a backpack, we should be okay,’” Boebert said.

Ilhan Omar Calls For All Illegal Aliens In U.S. To Have ‘Pathway To Citizenship’

Rep. Ilhan Omar, (D-MN), a founding member of the far-left “Squad” on Capitol Hill, declared Monday that all illegal immigrants in the United States should possess a pathway to citizenship.

We must create a pathway to citizenship for all undocumented people living here. Met with activists with @Chirla, who have been fasting for days to push for a pathway to citizenship. Immigrants get the job done,” Omar wrote on social media following her meeting with activists from the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA).

Omar was born in Somalia and fled the country’s civil war when she was eight. After the next four years, Omar lived in a refugee camp in Kenya and later moved to the U.S. in the 1990s.
