Illegal Alien Accused of These Horrific Crimes in Texas Has NOT Been Deported

One illegal immigrant has been formally charged with capital murder and another is expected to be charged soon in connection with the execution of two men and the burning of the victims’ corpses in Texas. The two jailed illegal immigrants are said to be members of a fearsome gang called the Tri-City Bombers which has been tied to multiple massacres and high profile murders in the past.

This week, investigators with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Edwin Adrian Salinas for his suspected role in the case. Authorities had initially arrested him on unrelated drug charges, but once in custody, homicide detectives were able to link him to the double murder.

Sheriff’s office spokesman JP Rodriguez told Breitbart Texas that once in custody Salinas admitted to investigators his role in the murder. Salinas also had scar tissue on his body from healed injuries that are consistent with him helping set a car on fire.

On Monday afternoon, Salinas went before a local justice of the peace who formally charged him with two counts of capital murder and set his bond at $2 million.

Also on Monday authorities arrested a second suspect who is expected to be formally charged later this week. (Read more from “Illegal Alien Accused of These Horrific Crimes in Texas Has NOT Been Deported” HERE)

Poll: Illegal Aliens a Serious Problem

immigration_5A poll conducted just ahead of the Labor Day weekend finds that the overwhelming majority of Americans view illegal immigration as a serious problem.

The poll, conducted by YouGov, surveyed 1,000 adult Americans asking them their opinions on issues surrounding the illegal immigration problem.

Despite ongoing media favoritism towards illegals 77% said illegal immigration was a problem, with 51% calling it very serious and 26% somewhat serious. Just 4% said illegal immigration was not a problem at all.

The poll saw no difference between men and women. Looking along racial lines, whites were most likely to call illegal immigration a serious problem at 80% compared to 74% of black Americans, but even 64% of Hispanic Americans called illegal immigration a serious problem for the country. 5 Years After Earthquake U.S. Extends “Temporary” Amnesty for Haitian Illegal Aliens

barack-obama-milwaukee-wisconsinIn yet another depiction of the nation’s flawed immigration policies, the Obama administration is extending a humanitarian measure designed to temporarily shield illegal immigrants from deportation during emergencies for the fifth time in five years. It’s officially known as Temporary Protected Status (TPS) but should be renamed permanent—or at least long-term—protected status.

It involves tens of thousands of Haitians, who were originally granted TPS after an earthquake devastated the poverty-stricken Caribbean island in 2010. Then Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said the benefit would last only 18 months and be limited to Haitian nationals who were in the United States as of January 12, 2010. The goal, according to Napolitano was to provide a “temporary refuge for Haitian nationals who are currently in the United States and whose personal safety would be endangered by returning to Haiti is part of this Administration’s continuing efforts to support Haiti’s recovery.”

More than five years later the Obama administration continues to allow the same group of foreigners, who would otherwise be deported, remain in the U.S. under the never-ending “temporary” measure. DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson made it official this week, extending TPS for Haitians an additional 18 months, through July 22, 2017. This will grant Haitians authorization to work in the U.S. and receive other taxpayer-funded benefits. “Haiti was initially designated for TPS on Jan. 21, 2010, after a major earthquake devastated the country,” the government announcement reads. “Following consultations with other federal agencies, the Department of Homeland Security has determined that current conditions in Haiti support extending the designation period for current TPS beneficiaries.”

Last year Johnson extended an existing TPS for Haitian nationals with no explanation or earthquake sob story mentioned in the official announcement. Previous to that, Napolitano renewed the measure every year after originally implementing it following the earthquake. This is referred to as a “re-designation” in the various DHS announcements. It allows at least 60,000 Haitians who should be deported to live and work in the U.S. Their children, of course, get a free education and other public benefits compliments of American taxpayers. Obama’s DHS Hid Its Release of Violent Criminal Illegal Aliens from State Governments for YEARS!!!

MEXICO US IMMIGRATIONBy Adam Kredo. Obama administration officials only began notifying local law enforcement officials of the release of violent criminal illegal immigrants within the last two weeks, according to Arizona law enforcement officials, who say they have for years been kept in the dark about the release of illegal immigrants back into local towns.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had been keeping secret its release of illegal immigrants with violent criminal records from local law enforcement for at least two years, denying for a time that this was taking place, law enforcement officials disclosed to the Washington Free Beacon.

The public disclosure of this practice, in which Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) frees criminal illegal immigrants back into U.S. communities, came to light earlier this week, when Arizona law enforcement was made aware that three illegal aliens with violent criminal records had been released back onto the streets . . .

At least three illegal aliens released by DHS in recent weeks have been charged with serious crimes, including the beating of a 7-week-old baby and immolation of a person, according to local law enforcement officials and Rep Matt Salmon (R., Ariz.).

Other Arizona law enforcement officials in the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office further disclosed to the Free Beacon that they still are being kept in the dark about such releases and questioned whether DHS has implemented a standard nationwide practice to alert local officials. Immigration Is the Public’s Biggest Concern, Poll Says

By David Barrett. Immigration is the biggest worry among British voters, overtaking the NHS and the economy as their main concern, according to a new poll.

Fifty per cent of the public said immigration was among the most important issues facing the country, the highest level ever recorded by the monthly Economist Ipsos Mori poll.

Since the Calais crisis erupted, immigration has overtaken the NHS as the most commonly mentioned concern, with the health service now mentioned by 37 per cent of those polled.

Bobby Duffy, the managing director of the Ipsos Mori Social Research Institute, said: “We have never seen concern about immigration this high, and when one single issue reaches 50 per cent it tends to signify that the public perceive it is something which needs to be addressed urgently. Sizable Percentage of Hispanics Do Not Favor a Path to Citizenship for Illegal Aliens

illegal_immigration_ap_photo-mark_j._terrill_3According to Gallup, nearly one quarter of Hispanics do not favor a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

The Gallup poll, conducted June 15-July 10, is the latest update from Gallup’s 2015 Minority Rights and Relations poll and includes larger samples of blacks and Hispanics. “The 2006 survey was the last time Gallup asked the question in a poll that included an expanded sample of Hispanics. Whites’ and blacks’ views are largely unchanged since then” . . .

The more recent poll, however, suggests more than a slight drop. Now seventy seven percent (77%) of Hispanics, “about half of whom are immigrants themselves,” are more likely to favor a path to citizenship for immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally . . .

Indeed, fourteen percent (14%) of Hispanics polled in the survey said that they believed the government should “allow illegal immigrants to remain in the United States in order to work, but only for a limited amount of time.” Meanwhile, eight percent (8%) of Hispanics polled said that the government should “deport all illegal immigrants back to their home country.” (Read more from “Here’s the Amount of Hispanics Who Do Not Favor a Path to Citizenship for Illegal Aliens” HERE)

Two Illegal Aliens Appointed to California City Commission

By CBS Los Angeles. Huntington Park is making history and not everyone is happy about it.

Councilman Jhonny Pineda announced at Monday night’s city council meeting the appointment of two undocumented immigrants as commissioners, CBS2/KCAL9’s Kara Finnstrom reports.

“You are out of order!” one woman in the crowd yelled at the councilmembers during the meeting.

Some critics say Pineda, who joined the council in March, specifically picked Medina and Zatarain because they worked on his campaign. Others say they don’t believe undocumented immigrants should serve the government this way.

“We’re sending the wrong message: you can be illegal and you can come and work for the city,” a woman told Finnstrom. (Read more from “Two Illegal Aliens Appointed to California City Commission” HERE)

Illegal Aliens Named to Huntington Park Commissions

By Tracy Bloom and Eric Spillman. Julian Zatarain, 21, won an appointment to the parks and recreation commission, while Francisco Medina, 29, was appointed to the health and education commission by Huntington Park Councilman Jhonny Pineda.

“I am proud to appoint both Julian and Francisco to the Parks and Recreation Commission and Health and Education Commission, respectively,“ Pineda said in a news release announcing the appointments. “Huntington Park is a city of opportunity and a city of hope for all individuals regardless of socioeconomic status, race, creed, or in this case, citizenship. Both these gentlemen have accomplished a great deal for the city.”

The two Huntington Park residents did not meet the requirements set forth in President Barack Obama’s Executive Order of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, according to Pineda. . .

Zatarain arrived in the U.S. in September of 2007, and initially lived in South Los Angeles before his family moved to Huntington Park. He . . . graduated from California State University at Dominguez Hill, has worked in the public sector and dedicated himself to improving lives of those who have been the “most marginalized,” the release stated. He interned in the office of then-Assemblyman Gil Cedillo and has also organized free immigration forums to help working class communities. . .

[Huntington Park Mayor Karina Macias said,] “Our population includes documented and undocumented immigrants, and I wanted to make sure everyone could participate,” Macias told the Times. “If we’re going to talk about transparency, being open and having a community that’s involved, then the conversation also has to include undocumented immigrants. I’m hoping other cities are looking at what we’re doing here.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Mexican Cartels Smuggle Terrorists Into U.S. Through Rural Texas Border Region

Mexican drug cartels are smuggling foreigners from countries with terrorist links into a small Texas rural town near El Paso and they’re using remote farm roads—rather than interstates—to elude the Border Patrol and other law enforcement barriers, according to Judicial Watch sources on both sides of the Mexico-U.S. border.

The foreigners are classified as Special Interest Aliens (SIA) and they are being transported to stash areas in Acala, a rural crossroads located around 54 miles from El Paso on a state road – Highway 20. Once in the U.S., the SIAs wait for pick-up in the area’s sand hills just across Highway 20. Terrorists have entered the U.S. through Mexico for years and in fact, an internal Texas Department of Public Safety report leaked by the media months ago documents that several members of known Islamist terrorist organizations have been apprehended crossing the southern border in recent years.

Now they’re also being smuggled in through border region airfields, according to JW’s civilian, law enforcement and intelligence sources. The renowned Vicente Carrillo Fuentes cartel is using the Horizon Airport (formerly “West Texas Airport”) in El Paso’s lower valley to smuggle SIAs into the U.S. from Mexico, JW’s inside sources say. The facility is convenient because it’s located only 11 miles from El Paso’s central business district yet it’s small enough that security is virtually nonexistent. More Illegals Will Avoid Deportation Under Obama’s New Policy, Report Says

Twenty-five thousand more people will avoid deportation each year under a new federal information-sharing agreement with local jails, but more immigrants convicted of serious crimes will be deported, according to an analysis of deportation numbers by a nonpartisan think tank.

Using Census Bureau and Homeland Security Department data, the Migration Policy Institute issued a report Thursday that asserts the so-called Priority Enforcement Program would target about 13 percent of immigrants in the U.S. without authorization, or about 1.4 million of the estimated 11 million people.

Previous immigration policies targeted a much wider swath, about 27 percent of all immigrants in the country illegally, or about 3 million people.

The new program has the “potential to substantially reshape” enforcement practices by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, report author Marc Rosenblum wrote.

President Barack Obama announced in November that the Priority Enforcement Program would replace the older Secure Communities program, which provided immigration agents with fingerprint records collected at local jails. Illegal Alien Victim’s Mother: ‘We Are at War Right in This Country’

Choking back tears, parents whose children were slain by illegal immigrants said Tuesday the federal government and so-called sanctuary cities both share blame for their children’s deaths, and pleaded with Congress for an all-out effort to secure the border and deport those who already snuck in.

“I don’t want your sympathy, I want you to do something,” demanded Laura Wilkerson, whose 18-year-old son was strangled, had his throat smashed and his body lit on fire by an illegal immigrant trained in mixed martial arts. “Quit sitting silent because it’s going to help you get a vote.”

The lawmakers, who said they were moved by the testimony of Ms. Wilkerson and a handful of others who recounted their relatives’ murders, vowed to take action and trained much of their criticism on San Francisco, whose sanctuary policy protected an illegal immigrant whom police have accused of killing 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle earlier this month as she walked on Pier 14 with her father . . .

The hearing highlighted a shift in the immigration debate. Over the last few years, immigrant rights advocates have essentially won the public debate, focusing on sympathetic illegal immigrants, and so-called Dreamers in particular, who have made good on their chances of a better life in the U.S. . . .

“I want you to be angry that America’s borders are wide open. America does not know who is in this country. It is time to put Americans first,” Ms. Wilkerson said. “Close the borders, figure out who is really here. Keep statistics. Realize that we are at war right here in this country.” (Read more from “Illegal Alien Victim’s Mother: ‘We Are at War Right in This Country'” HERE)
