9th Circuit: Local Authorities In Washington State Can’t Block Feds From Deporting Illegals

A three-judge panel on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the federal government has the authority to deport illegal immigrants even if local leaders try to impede the process.

The case arose after King County Executive Dow Constantine issued an executive order in 2019 that instructed county officials to prohibit “fixed base operators” (FBO) on a county airfield from servicing flights chartered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to deport illegal immigrants who are lawfully removable. FBO’s “lease space from the airport and provide flights with essential services, such as fueling and landing stairs,” according to the ruling.

The Trump administration sued because the order impeded ICE from enforcing the law and removing illegal immigrants. The administration argued that the order violated the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause and a World War II-era agreement that gave the federal government permission to use the King County airport.

The three-judge panel affirmed both contentions. The panel ruled that the executive order was a violation of the Supremacy Clause’s intergovernmental immunity doctrine because it “improperly regulates the way in which the federal government transports noncitizen detainees by preventing ICE from using private FBO contractors at Boeing Field.” The court also held that the executive order discriminated against the federal government by “regulat[ing] them unfavorably on some basis related to their governmental ‘status.’” (Read more from “9th Circuit: Local Authorities In Washington State Can’t Block Feds From Deporting Illegals” HERE)

Texas Just Scored a Major Win in Regards to the Border

Texas received a massive win on Wednesday after the federal court of appeals ruled that the Lonestar state is allowed to construct a border wall using razor wire to keep illegal immigrants from unlawfully entering the United States. Lame-duck President Joe Biden previously ordered authorities to cut the razor wire down.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) celebrated the significant victory after the state sued the Biden-Harris Administration for damaging and interfering with Texas’ action to protect its border.

Huge Win in the Fight to Stop Democratic Cities From Harboring Criminals

A federal appeals court on Wednesday ruled that Texas has the right to build a razor wire border wall to deter illegal immigration into the Lone Star State.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced the ruling on X, saying President Biden was “wrong to cut our razor wire.”

“We continue adding more razor wire border barrier,” the Republican leader wrote.

Wednesday’s 2-1 decision by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals clears the way for Texas to pursue a lawsuit accusing the Biden administration of trespassing without having to remove the fencing. (Read more from “Huge Win in the Fight to Stop Democratic Cities From Harboring Criminals” HERE)

Illegal Alien Accused of Child Rape While Colorado Democrat Mayor Vows to Protect Illegals From Deportation

An illegal alien is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in Jefferson County, Colorado. The news comes as Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) has vowed to protect illegal aliens in the sanctuary city from President-elect Donald Trump’s deportation program.

Jesus Alberto Pereira Castillo, a 20-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela, was arrested on Nov. 19 by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl back in August of this year.

According to police, Castillo had been living in the basement apartment of his employer’s residence. On the evening of August 29, Castillo allegedly forced himself onto his employer’s 14-year-old daughter and sexually assaulted her.

This week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials confirmed that Castillo first crossed the southern border near El Paso, Texas in September 2023. He was released into the United States interior soon after, where he resettled in the suburbs of Denver.

Castillo’s arrest comes as Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) has swept national headlines after promising to protect illegal aliens from Trump’s deportation program that is expected to start early next year. Republican Senators War With Each Other Over Trump Using Military to Deport Illegal Aliens

U.S. Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., has voiced his support for President-elect Donald Trump should he choose, after he takes office, to use parts of the U.S. military to remove illegal aliens from the nation.

The senator said, “I support the president,” when he specifically was asked about using the military to work on the massive deportation problem that is being left behind by the border mismanagement by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

“We have a national security crisis in this country right now because of our open border, and when he declares it a national emergency, he can appropriately use the military,” the senator said in an interview with Fox News. “There are over 10 million illegal immigrants in the country right now.

“We are talking about drug dealers, people in criminal cartels. These are folks who have actually been murdering, raping, poisoning American citizens. When you take a look at the president’s magnificent victory, the decisive victory, I think it’s because people were scared about all of these people in the country illegally. People want to feel safe in their own homes,” he said.

2-Year-Old Crosses Border Alone Seeking Parents in U.S., Heartbreaking Video From Texas DPS Shows

The Texas Department of Public Safety shared heartbreaking videos on Sunday showing dozens of unaccompanied children who had recently crossed the southern border into the United States.

Among the group of 60 children was a 2-year-old girl who told law enforcement officers that she had journeyed alone and was hoping to be reunited with her parents in the U.S. In the video, the child clutched a piece of paper, which she extended toward the officers. Inscribed on the note was a name and phone number.

An officer asked the child, “Did you come by yourself?” . . .

“How old are you?” the officer inquired.

The child held up a couple of fingers and responded, “Two.”

Report: Feds Silent on ‘Humanitarian Flight’ Laken Riley’s Killer Got From NYC to Georgia

Federal officials are reportedly not saying anything regarding a “humanitarian flight” convicted killer Jose Ibarra, an illegal alien, was given in 2023.

Fox News reported on Sunday that officials would not give the outlet more information about the flight Ibarra, who was recently convicted of murdering 22-year-old Laken Riley, received from New York City to Atlanta, Georgia.

Riley, who was a nursing student, was killed in Athens, Georgia, on February 22 by Ibarra after he stalked her as she jogged that morning on the University of Georgia (UGA) campus, Breitbart News reported Wednesday.

During Ibarra’s trial on Monday, prosecutors showed an image of Ibarra’s Delta Air Lines ticket going from New York to Atlanta, which was dated September 28, 2023. The Fox article continued:

FBI Special Agent Jamie Hipkiss said a photo of the boarding pass was pulled from a WhatsApp account associated with Ibarra.

Ibarra’s former roommate, Rosbeli Flores-Bello, testified on Monday that she and Ibarra — both Venezuelan nationals who connected in Queens, New York, in 2023 after meeting through a mother-in-law — went to the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan in September of that year to request a “humanitarian flight” to Atlanta. Ibarra’s brother, Diego, promised they would find work in Athens, Georgia.

Georgia Governor Reacts To Court Claim That NYC Flew Laken Riley Killer To Georgia

Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s office blasted apparent revelations that Laken Riley’s killer was flown into the state before her murder, and confirmed they are working to get more answers.

The roommate of Jose Ibarra testified in court that she and Ibarra arrived in Georgia by way of a humanitarian flight from New York City in 2023. Ibarra on Wednesday was ultimately found guilty of murdering Riley, a Georgia nursing student at the time, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The fact that an illegal migrant and killer was likely flown into the community via a taxpayer-funded flight is not sitting well with Georgia officials.

“The recent revelation of how Laken Riley’s alleged killer made it to Georgia is outrageous,” Kemp spokesperson Garrison Douglas stated to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“While the Biden Administration continues to ignore our request for accurate and detailed information on illegal border crossings and relocations efforts, Governor Kemp has positioned Georgia to do what it can to address the crisis at the border by taking decisive action like deploying our National Guardsmen to the U.S. southern border and signing legislation that strengthened Georgia’s reporting requirements for illegal immigrants arrested for crimes and ban on sanctuary cities,” Douglas continued. Republicans Rip Border Bill as ‘Unilateral Decision,’ Leaving Trump Admin Underprepared

Senate Republicans slammed their Democrat counterparts in the chamber for moving forward with a “partisan” Homeland Security appropriations bill that they say has “substantial flaws” and will leave the incoming Trump administration without the resources they need to fix the border crisis.

Senate Committee on Appropriations ranking member Susan Collins, R-Maine, said in a statement that Democrats’ leadership has led to a “unilateral decision from the Majority to post a partisan measure on a critical appropriations bill that is meant to help secure our borders and combat the surge of deadly fentanyl and other illegal narcotics flooding our communities.”

She slammed this decision, claiming it “undercuts our efforts over the last two years to reach bipartisan consensus and allow Senators an opportunity to debate and amend appropriations bills.”

Appropriations Chair Patty Murray, D-Wash., did not provide comment to Fox News Digital in time for publication.

Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., the ranking member of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee, also criticized the move by Democrats. (Read more from “Republicans Rip Border Bill as ‘Unilateral Decision,’ Leaving Trump Admin Underprepared” HERE)
