The Texas Military Department says it will continue to “hold the line in Shelby Park” in their efforts to “deter and prevent unlawful entry into the State of Texas.” Under Operation Lone Star orders from Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas National Guard’s actions continue despite a second demand letter from the Department of Homeland Security to release control of the park seized by the State earlier this month. Governor Abbott pledged to continue deploying razor wire along the Rio Grande border with Mexico.

“We remain resolute in our actions to secure our border, preserve the rule of law, and protect the sovereignty of our State,” TMD officials wrote in a post on X.

Shortly after DHS officials issued a second letter to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton demanding accesses to Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas, a defiant Governor Abbott posted, “We will continue to deploy this razor wire to repel illegal immigration.”

Biden’s U.S. Border Crisis Is Now Deadly Enough to Kill Every American

By New York Post. Joe Biden’s border crisis is deadly enough to kill every American, literally — as proven by the 386 million doses of fentanyl seized by the DEA in 2023.

Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans between 18 and 45.

The 12 months ending in April 2023 saw more than 111,355 overdose deaths among Americans — even higher than the already record-breaking 110,394 the year before.

At an average of 22 deaths per week, the death rate for teen drug ODs in 2022 more than doubled the rate in 2018, another grim figure driven by the synthetic opioid.

Man Stabbed in Neck During Randall’s Island Migrant Shelter Melee; 18 in Custody but Suspect on the Loose

By New York Post. A wild melee at the troubled Randall’s Island migrant shelter Thursday left an [illegal alien] stabbed in the neck and 18 people in custody — with cops still hunting for the knife-wielding suspect, law-enforcement sources say.

A brawl broke out at the troubled shelter around 3:30 p.m. between two groups, who started fighting inside the shelter but then took it outside — armed with knives and throwing rocks at each other, sources said.

A 24-year-old man was stabbed during violent chaos, sources said.

He was taken by EMTs to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

A 911 caller initially indicated to cops that a security guard stabbed the victim, but police sources later said it appeared that was not the case and that the assailant was still at large. Airport Signs Spark Outrage as U.S. Travelers Question Why Migrants Don’t Require ID

Recent signs at certain US airports have triggered outrage among American travelers, suggesting special treatment for newly arrived migrants by allowing them to board flights without presenting proper identification. While US citizens are required to show valid identification to board domestic flights, the signs indicate different rules for migrants who have entered the country using the CBP One app.

The signs claim that the Transport Security Administration (TSA) is collaborating with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to “validate adult non-US citizen travel documentation when the traveler does not otherwise have an acceptable form of identification.” This allows migrants, approximately 45,000 people per month, to use the CBP One app as their travel document, granting them the option to decide whether officers can take their picture.

Retired CBP Chief Patrol Agent Chris Clem expressed concern about the optics of this practice, stating, “I’m an American citizen, and I’m quite offended that these migrants that have come in here are getting preferential treatment and being prioritized in so many ways.”

Critics argue that while those entering the country via the CBP One app provide biometric information such as fingerprints during border interviews, there are concerns about the limited information authorities have about individuals at that point. Clem questions the reliability of the information provided by individuals who arrived at the border with no passport or ID card, emphasizing the potential risks associated with verifying identities solely based on what individuals claim.

The controversy raises broader questions about security and verification procedures at the border, especially as authorities grapple with the challenge of processing large numbers of migrants. Critics argue that preferential treatment for certain travelers may undermine the integrity of identification processes and create potential risks, particularly if illegal aliens arrive with minimal documentation.

Despite concerns and calls for clarification, the TSA, CBP, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have not provided responses to inquiries about the signs and the procedures they imply.

Illegal Alien Accused of Officer’s Death Claims Victimhood by Alleging Racism (VIDEO)

Virgilio Aguilar-Mendez, a 19-year-old illegal alien from Guatemala, stands accused of causing the death of St. Johns County, Florida, Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Michael Kunovich. However, Aguilar-Mendez is not just facing charges; he is asserting that he is a victim of racism, police brutality, and a violation of his “constitutional rights.”

The incident, which unfolded in May 2023, has taken a complex turn as Aguilar-Mendez’s defense attorney, Phillip Arroyo, has issued a threat of a federal lawsuit against St. Johns County prosecutors. Arroyo claims that his client’s rights have been violated, and he demands the charges be dropped [via Breitbart News]:

“Mr. Virgilio was a victim of police brutality. He was a victim of racial profiling,” Arroyo said. “He was a victim of violation of his fourth, fifth, and sixth amendment constitutional rights. Those who are responsible for this abuse will be held accountable.”

Arroyo also said the charges against Aguilar-Mendez are some “of the greatest injustices he’s ever seen” in the court system, calling them a “grave injustice” and “disheartening.”

The threat of a federal lawsuit comes as a local judge recently found Aguilar-Mendez incompetent to stand trial and ordered him to undergo competency treatment while he remains in St. Johns County custody.

According to police accounts, the fatal encounter occurred when Sgt. Kunovich lawfully attempted to pat down Aguilar-Mendez, who was sitting outside a closed business. Instead of complying, Aguilar-Mendez resisted and attempted to flee, sparking a confrontation that involved multiple officers.

The struggle between Kunovich and Aguilar-Mendez endured for over six minutes, during which Aguilar-Mendez allegedly attempted to seize the officer’s taser. Despite being handcuffed and disarmed of a pocketknife, Aguilar-Mendez’s resistance led to the tragic collapse of Sgt. Kunovich. Despite efforts by first responders, Kunovich was pronounced dead after being rushed to a nearby hospital.

Aguilar-Mendez’s status as an illegal alien has added a layer of complexity to the case. Having arrived at the United States-Mexico border the previous year, he was released into the United States.

16K Chinese Migrants Apprehended by Border Patrol Since October

Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 16,000 Chinese migrants who crossed the border between ports of entry since the new fiscal year began on October 1, according to unofficial reports reviewed by Breitbart Texas. This number is nearly two-thirds of the Chinese migrants apprehended during the entire Fiscal Year 23, which ended on September 30.

Since October 1, 2023, Border Patrol agents apprehended approximately 15,800 Chinese nationals who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry, the report indicates. Official reports from U.S. Customs and Border Protection reveal the apprehension of 9,844 migrants in October and November. This leaves nearly 6,800 who were apprehended since December 1, 2023.

Since President Joe Biden took office on January 21, 2021, the apprehension of Chinese migrants illegally entering the U.S. rose from single digits per month to thousands per month. In February 2021, Biden’s first full month in office, agents apprehended only nine Chinese migrants. That number began to steadily rise to dozens per month in FY21 to hundreds per month in FY22 to thousands per month in FY23 and FY24.

Mayorkas Admits ‘Over 85%’ Of Migrants Being Released Into U.S.: Report

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas admitted Monday that over 85% of migrants encountered at the border are being released into the United States, three people who attended a private meeting with the secretary say.

Under President Joe Biden and Mayorkas’ leadership, millions of illegal immigrants have been apprehended or crossed over the U.S. southern border with Mexico. The influx of illegals has overwhelmed not just border cities, but areas across the nation, including deep-blue “sanctuary cities” like New York City.

“Per three Border Patrol sources who were in the room, while meeting privately with agents in Eagle Pass, TX today, DHS Sec. Mayorkas admitted that the current release rate for migrants caught crossing the border illegally is ‘above 85%,’” Bill Melugin reported. “I’m awaiting comment from DHS.”

The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) Union said the claim was true, noting that Brandon Judd, president of NBPC, was in the room when the conversation occurred.

“Your sources are correct,” the NBPC X account posted. “During this meeting, Brandon Judd told Mayorkas that Americans have the right to know the facts about what’s going on at the border. It was at that point Mayorkas admitted that ‘over 85%’ of the people illegally crossing our border are being released.”

State to Cover Sex Changes for Illegal Aliens

The Golden State is expanding its massive health care system this year, which means more taxpayer dollars will fund sex change surgeries for state residents, regardless of their citizenship status.

According to a memo first circulated in May 2022 and reported by the Daily Caller Foundation, California’s Medi-Cal covers costs for hormone therapy and procedures “that bring primary and secondary gender characteristics into conformity with the individual’s identified gender, including ancillary services, such as hair removal, incident to those services.”

Nearly 700,000 illegal immigrants between the ages of 26 and 49 qualify, as of Jan. 1, for these federal health care services, which will cost California taxpayers an estimated $3.1 billion. For those living in California illegally within this age range, it translates to approximately $4,058 per year in medical coverage subsidies funded by the state’s general fund.

“Gender affirming care is a covered Medi-Cal benefit when medically necessary,” the memo states. “Requests for gender affirming care should be from specialists experienced in providing culturally competent care to transgender and gender diverse individuals and should use nationally recognized guidelines.” (Read more from “State to Cover Sex Changes for Illegal Aliens” HERE)

Huh? Mayorkas Blames Border Crossings on ‘Climate Change’ (VIDEO)

2023 saw record-breaking numbers of illegal migrants entering the United States as President Joe Biden continues to roll out the red carpet for border crossers who take advantage of the senile president’s policies.

During an interview with MSNBC, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked why more illegal aliens entered the U.S. than in any other month in the history of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

In response, Mayorkas blamed so-called “climate change” on the historic border crossings instead of the president’s open border policies and refusal to secure the U.S.

The Biden official also fired shots at Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R-TX) “remarkable failure of governance” relating to the ongoing border crisis. Abbott has been transporting illegal aliens to Democrat-run “sanctuary cities” across the nation as liberal leadership welcomes them with open arms.

“Let me identify one fundamental problem here,” Mayorkas said. “That is the fact that we have one governor, in the state of Texas, who is refusing to cooperate with other governors and other local officials to coordinate efforts to address a challenge that this county … is facing. And it’s a remarkable failure of governance to refuse to cooperate with fellow local and state officials.”

These Airlines Are Flying Illegal Aliens to U.S. Cities

Delta and American Airlines are under fire for flying illegal migrants from President Joe Biden’s Arizona processing centers into domestic U.S. hubs on late-night flights.

According to reports, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has become a significant hub for illegal aliens to travel around the United States.

Republican commentator Ashley St Clair was on a flight from Phoenix to New York City when she noticed that her Delta Airlines flight was filled with illegal aliens.

In a video posted to social media, St Clair showed illegal migrants lined up waiting to board her flight, and when she asked a representative about it, he said: “What does it matter? They’re humans, too.”

Texas Governor Signs Bill Making Illegal Alien Entry From Mexico a State Crime

Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill making Texas the first state in the union to give law enforcement officers the authority to arrest migrants who illegally enter the state. The measure, SB 4, was signed into law on Monday during a ceremony at the base of the border wall in Brownsville, Texas.

The bill is part of a package of measures designed to decrease the flow of migrants entering the state from Mexico. The Texas Legislature passed the bills during two special sessions this fall.

Governor Abbott was joined at the bill signing ceremony by Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) President Brandon Judd, Adjutant General of Texas Major General Thomas Suelzer, Texas Border Czar Mike Banks, Senator Pete Flores, Senator Joan Huffman, Senator Charles Perry, Representative Ryan Guillen, Representative Jacey Jetton, Representative David Spiller, Representative Mano DeAyala, Representative Stan Kitzman, Representative Janie Lopez, and other border officials. House Speaker Dade Phelan was not present for the historic event.

Senate Bill 4 from Special Session #4 makes illegal entry into Texas from a foreign country a criminal offense. The law is the latest attempt by the state to crack down on migrants illegally entering the state between ports of entry. By creating the offense of illegal reentry, offenders can be penalized with sentences of up to 20 years in prison. It also provides the mechanism to order an offender to return to the foreign nation from which they entered or attempted to enter this state. The law provides civil immunity and indemnification for local and state government officials, employees, and contractors for lawsuits resulting from enforcing these provisions.
