American citizens say they’ve been trapped in Mexico by the closure of an Arizona border overwhelmed by migrants — and are considering crossing back into the US illegally themselves rather than making dangerous eight-hour round trips.

The border crossing at Lukeville has been closed since December 4 as border patrol agents are diverted to dealing with thousands of migrants arriving illegally in the area, some of whom cut down parts of the border wall to flood into the US.

The closure means those on the Mexican side of the border have to travel through ports of entry in Nogales or San Luis Rio Colorado to the east or west, turning a journey of 30 minutes or an hour into a six-to-eight hour odyssey.

“There’s so many people that are so upset seeing all these 10,000 illegals coming in a day, and they’re coming through a wall that the cartel cut a hole in,” real estate broker Robin Miller, who lives in the beach town of Rocky Point, told The Post.

Judge Lets 8 Men Who Gang-Raped Girl Walk Free

A German court delivered its verdict Tuesday concerning those responsible for the barbaric September 2020 gang-rape of a 15-year-old German girl in the northern city of Hamburg.

Of the eleven men initially charged in relation to the gang-rape of the minor — only four of whom were technically German — two were acquitted. Nine were found guilty. Eight got probation, not exceeding two years. Only one is headed to prison.

There has been significant backlash following the release of eight convicted rapists, prompting officials to condemn critiques of the judgment, particularly those of an “anti-migrant” nature.

Spiegel reported that the victim attended a party on the festival lawn in Hamburg’s over 350-acre city park on Sept. 19, 2020. Four of the men dragged the girl, then intoxicated, into a bush and raped her. One of the rapists added insult to grievous injury and stole her phone and wallet. . .

After the initial series of attacks, the victim reportedly began stumbling away, right into the arms of yet another rapist from the pack. The rapist who intercepted her near the festival meadow was then joined by three additional rapists, who are suspected to have all similarly sexually assaulted the victim. Millions of Foreign-Born Citizens Have Flooded Into the U.S. Since Biden, Highest Percentage in Nation’s History

The Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey (CPS) shows that the total foreign-born or immigrant population (legal and illegal) was 49.5 million in October 2023 — a 4.5 million increase since President Biden took office and a new record high. At 15 percent, the foreign-born share of the U.S. population is also the highest ever recorded in American history. As the debate rages over the ongoing border crisis, this finding is important because administrative numbers such as border encounters or even legal immigrant arrivals do not measure the actual size of the immigrant population, which is what ultimately determines immigration’s impact on the country.

Among the findings:

In October 2023, the CPS shows that 15 percent of the U.S. population is now foreign-born — higher than any U.S. government survey or census has ever recorded.

The 49.5 million foreign-born residents (legal and illegal) in October 2023 is also a new record high.
Since President Biden took office in January 2021, the foreign-born population has grown by 4.5 million — larger than the individual populations of 25 U.S. states.

Based on our prior estimates of illegal immigrants, more than half (2.5 million) of the 4.5 million increase in the foreign-born population since January 2021 is likely due to illegal immigration. If adjusted for those missed by the survey, the increase would be larger.

The 4.5 million increase overall and the 2.5 million increase in illegal immigrants are both net figures. The number of new arrivals was significantly higher, but was offset by outmigration and natural mortality among the foreign-born already here.

The foreign-born population has grown on average by 137,000 a month since President Biden took office, compared to 42,000 a month during Trump’s presidency before Covid-19 hit, and 68,000 a month during President Obama’s two terms.

The scale of immigration is so high that it appears to have made the new Census Bureau population projections, published on November 9 of this year, obsolete. The bureau projected that the foreign-born share was not supposed to hit 15 percent until 2033.

The largest percentage increases since January 2021 are for immigrants from South America (up 28 percent); Central America (up 25 percent); Sub-Saharan Africa (up 21 percent); the Caribbean (up 20 percent); and the Middle East (up 14 percent).

Seniors Evicted as NYC Converts Senior Center Into Migrant Shelter

Dozens of seniors in New York, including a 94-year-old Army veteran named Frank Tammaro, were evicted from their senior center, which was then converted into a migrant shelter.

City officials have estimated that tens of thousands of migrants have entered the city since last spring, which is costing around $5 million per day. Mayor Eric Adams, who previously boasted about NYC being a “sanctuary” for migrants, has more recently complained about the influx of migrants.

Tammaro told Fox News that he had lived in the center for five years, and intended to spend the rest of his days there until he and the other members were notified that they were being kicked out. After he was evicted, Tammaro’s family found out that the center was turned into a migrant shelter.

“I do get upset when I see them handing out all this money and all these things, and I’m paying taxes and getting kicked out,” Tammaro said. “I’ve never got anything from the city. Or the state.”

The veteran’s daughter, with whom he now lives, echoed the same sentiment. “I don’t understand it at all. It’s not fair to anybody,” Barbara Annunziata said. “These migrants, they’re getting everything. They’re getting everything and I can’t get nothing for [Tammaro]. Report: Border Patrol Reinforces Overwhelmed Area Illegal Alien Numbers Soar

The Border Patrol has called in reinforcements to address the growing challenges posed by an overwhelming number of illegal aliens in a southern Arizona region, according to an internal message obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Agents from the Douglas, Arizona, station are being summoned to support the Tucson migrant processing center, where migrants who illegally cross the border are temporarily held.

As of Sunday evening, Border Patrol has approximately 4,600 illegal migrants in custody within the Tucson sector alone, contributing to a nationwide total of nearly 20,000, according to two Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials who requested anonymity. The reinforcement from Douglas includes agents tasked with “processing and transportation support,” with assignments extending to specialized units, such as horse patrols, and the manning of sensors to detect illegal aliens evading law enforcement.

A memo outlines the deployment of specialty units, stating, “Until further notice, all specialty units (Sensors, HPU, BCL) will report to the Douglas Station and attend musters on their scheduled shifts.” It further specifies that the Horse Patrol Unit (HPU) will maintain one agent for horse care, while the rest will be deployed as needed by the Watch Commander.

The situation in the Tucson sector has reached a critical point, leading the Tucson Border Patrol to announce the temporary shutdown of its social media. Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin of the Tucson Sector tweeted, “At this time, all available personnel are needed to address the unprecedented flow. The social media team will return once the situation permits.”

The ongoing challenges faced by Border Patrol underscore the broader issue of record levels of illegal immigration at the southern border in recent years. In fiscal year 2022, encounters surpassed 2.2 million, followed by over 2 million in fiscal year 2023. Critics, including unnamed DHS officials, attribute the strain on resources to the Biden administration’s policies, emphasizing the need for urgent action to address the escalating crisis. The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has not immediately responded to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Biden Admin Orders Border Agents to Use Preferred Pronouns for Illegal Aliens

The Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is instructing Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents to ask immigrants they encounter for their “preferred pronouns” and to use gender-neutral language while on the job.

The guidance, obtained by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project and titled “Guide to Facilitating Effective Communication with Individuals who Identify as LGBTQI+,” also tells CBP agents to avoid using certain terms.

“This job aid provides guidance to all CBP employees who interact with the public … including individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming,” the document reads. “This guidance should be used by all CBP employees who encounter members of the public.”

The agency goes on to demand that Customs and Border Patrol agents do not use “‘he, him,’ ‘she her’ pronouns until you have more information about, or provided by, the individual.” CBP agents are also instructed to not use words like “Mr,” “Mrs,” “sir” or “ma’am.”

Since President Joe Biden assumed office in January 2021, approximately 6.5 million illegal aliens have been encountered at the United States-Mexico border, surpassing annual U.S. births. A recent report from Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee sheds light on the severity of the ongoing border crisis, prompting concerns about the administration’s handling of immigration and border security.

The report, led by Chairman Mark Greene (R-TN), reveals alarming statistics regarding illegal alien encounters at the southern border during the Biden administration. The figure includes 6.5 million individuals encountered and an additional nearly two million classified as “known got-aways” – those who successfully crossed the border undeterred by Border Patrol agents. Moreover, experts suggest that there may be millions more “unknown got-aways” who have evaded detection.

The total number of encounters at U.S. borders under Biden’s leadership reaches a staggering 7.8 million, contributing to what Chairman Greene describes as a “historic border crisis.” The report emphasizes that the situation continues to escalate into the new fiscal year, prompting growing concerns about the strain on immigration enforcement resources.

The Biden administration’s catch and release policy have allowed millions of encountered illegal aliens to be released into American communities by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This practice has sparked apprehension about potential repercussions for local communities and the strain on public resources.

Chairman Greene issued a stern warning to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, stating, “These are catastrophic numbers across the board … I want to make this very clear to Secretary Mayorkas: Accountability is coming.” The report suggests that the Biden administration’s approach to border security is contributing to a critical and unsustainable situation.

Estimates from June indicate that approximately 17 million illegal aliens now reside in the U.S., incurring an annual cost of $163 billion to American taxpayers. This figure, however, does not encompass additional economic burdens such as housing expenses, unpaid hospital bills, lower wages, and job displacement resulting from illegal immigration.

Major U.S. City Literally Paying for Migrants To Leave, but Many Refuse To Go

New York City is trying to expel migrants by offering them plane tickets to leave for other states, or places outside of the country, but many of them don’t want to leave, according to dozens of migrants the Daily Caller News Foundation interviewed.

Migrants entering the reticketing center, which the city recently established to help migrants leave the area, told the DCNF that they don’t want to go elsewhere because they came to New York City for the resources it provides as a sanctuary city. The reticketing center is located in the since-closed St. Brigid School in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, where migrants can get a free, one-way ticket to the location of their choice provided by the city government.

“Visit the center where you can be provided with a ticket to travel anywhere,” a city flyer that was distributed to migrants and shown to the DCNF read.

Susej, a Venezuelan migrant, told the DCNF that he does not plan to leave the city despite the possibility of soon facing eviction. He is currently staying in a hostel until Nov. 12, but may “have to sleep on the street” if he cannot find another shelter, he said. . .

A second migrant from Venezuela has been sleeping on the subway because he was told there was no shelter for him, but he still wants to stay in the city, he told the DCNF. Report: Biden To Pay Foreign Countries To Control Inflow of Illegal Aliens to U.S.

President Joe Biden is reportedly set to unveil a plan that would pay foreign countries with American tax dollars to control the inflow of illegal immigration to the United States.

Biden, on Friday, will meet with leaders from several North and South American countries to lay out a plan to finance economic projects in the region, which, in return, the White House hopes will help manage illegal immigration to the U.S.

“The hope is to expand economic prospects in the Western Hemisphere so migrants do not head to the United States,” Reuters reports:

The United States is working with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), which promotes economic development in Latin America and the Caribbean, to create a new financing platform that will serve middle- and higher-income countries, the officials said, requesting anonymity to share details on the forthcoming announcements. The United States will also work to expand its contributions to the bank, one of the officials said. [Emphasis added]

Clean energy, semiconductors and medical supplies were areas where the region could compete globally, one of the officials said, adding that increased cooperation efforts could also help Latin America bolster work in space, an area where it has lagged. [Emphasis added]

City Now Provides One-Way Airplane Tickets to Illegal Aliens to Anywhere They Want to Go in the World

New York City has started providing illegal immigrants with one-way airplane tickets to anywhere in an attempt to deal with the Big Apple’s migrant crisis.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ spokeswoman Kayla Mamelak told the Washington Examiner on Friday, “With no sign of a decompression strategy in the near future, we have established a reticketing center for migrants. Here, the city will redouble efforts to purchase tickets for migrants to help them take the next steps in their journeys.”

The outlet noted that migrants have already been issued one-way plane tickets, and they are headed to locations including Michigan, Colombia, and Morocco.

Some of the migrants rejected the offer of a one-way flight to anywhere because they wished to stay in NYC to work.

Mayor Adams said, “When you are out of room, that means you’re out of room. Every year, my relatives show up for Thanksgiving, and they want to all sleep at my house. There’s no more room.
