City Elects Mayor Who Admitted, ‘I Am Illegal in This Country’

The mayor-elect of St. Paul, Minnesota, State Rep. Kaohly Vang Her (D) admitted earlier this year that she and her family are living illegally in the United States.

Vang Her, who will become St. Paul’s first female and first Asian mayor, beat out incumbent Melvin Carter, who is also a member of the state’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, which is the name of Minnesota’s Democrat party.

In June, as Breitbart News reported, Vang Her stood on the Minnesota House floor and told a story of how she says her family — originally from Laos — immigrated to the U.S.

Vang Her said she had recently discovered that her parents, siblings, and she are illegal aliens because her father defrauded the nation’s immigration system.

“I would like for you to put a face to the name, a face to what it is that we are doing today … I asked my father about how we came to the United States, and I always thought we came here because my grandfather was a colonel in the Secret War,” Vang said:

I had thought that meant that we had, we were in line to come to the U.S., and my mother told me — my father told me that was not true. Even though my parents both worked for a Christian organization, and my father actually worked at the U.S. Consulate because he was one of the few people who could speak English and he could type really fast and apparently that was a very valued skill then. So they had my father move away from the refugee camp from my mom and my sisters and I, and he went to live at the consulate where he processed all of the paperwork for the refugees that came to America. And we had missed our time to come to the U.S. three times and if we didn’t come that last time, we would not have been able to come to the U.S.

Republican Minn. Gov. Candidate Blasts Tim Walz on Election Integrity: ‘Fraud Capital of the Country’

Illegal migrants and other non-citizens in Minnesota could circumvent election law and vote simply by presenting a driver’s license on election day — though election officials stress that the practice is illegal.

Local leaders are waking up to the glaring problem with same-day registration voting, which is when a non-registered voter shows up on election day with a valid ID and casts a ballot.

State Representative Kristin Robbins, chair of state’s House Fraud Prevention Committee, is calling out Minnesota election officials and had harsh words for Democratic Gov. Tim Walz.

“Tim Walz has made Minnesota the fraud capital of the country and I have no confidence in his oversight of elections,” Robbins, a Republican candidate for governor, told The Post. “We got lots of election problems.”

Robbins raised the alarm at an Oct. 14 hearing in which she pressed state Elections Director Paul Linnell on the issue. (Read more from “Republican Minn. Gov. Candidate Blasts Tim Walz on Election Integrity: ‘Fraud Capital of the Country’” HERE)

Seattle Jail Hires Illegal Migrants to Guard Citizens

The King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (DAJD) has not only admitted to breaking state laws by hiring nearly three dozen illegal migrants as corrections officers, but has also pledged to fight the state law preventing such hiring.

In a statement to The Jason Rantz Show, DAJD said:

All are fully trained as corrections officers and authorized to work in the United States. King County is committed to safety and the fair treatment of these officers and continues to work closely with the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (WSCJTC). We are keeping all available avenues of relief open at this time.

The jail’s allegedly illegal hiring practices came to light after a whistleblower filed a complaint claiming that the department had hired as many as 100 illegal aliens, which would violate the Revised Code of Washington 43.101.095, which states that only legal U.S. citizens may be hired as corrections officers, according to KTTH AM radio’s Jason Rantz Show.

According to Rantz, the state law does allow jails to hire “lawful permanent residents [and] individuals covered” under Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. (Read more from “Seattle Jail Hires Illegal Migrants to Guard Citizens” HERE)

Illegal Alien Truck Driver Accused in Deadly 8-Car Pileup Identified as Indian National Released by Biden Administration

The semi-truck driver allegedly responsible for a horrific eight-car collision that left three people dead and several others injured in Ontario, California, has been identified as 21-year-old Jashanpreet Singh, an illegal alien from India, according to officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported on X that, according to multiple ICE sources, Singh was “caught and released” by border authorities after entering the U.S. illegally at the California border in March 2022 under the Biden administration’s immigration policies.

Melugin stated that ICE had placed a detainer request with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, where Singh is currently in custody. He is being held on suspicion of DUI causing great bodily injury and gross vehicular manslaughter, though formal charges have not yet been filed.

“Police say Singh was speeding and under the influence, never hitting his brakes, when he crashed into slow-moving traffic on the freeway,” Melugin wrote.

The devastating accident occurred on the 10 Freeway and involved four semi-trucks, two pickup trucks, and two passenger vehicles, according to NBC Los Angeles. Authorities confirmed that three people were killed and four others injured when Singh’s red truck slammed into traffic at full speed.

One witness described the moment of impact as resembling “a big explosion.”

“It didn’t stop,” said witness Jason Calmelat, recalling how the truck “didn’t make any kind of maneuvers” before striking the vehicles ahead.

ICE confirmed it has lodged an immigration detainer against Singh, requesting custody once local legal proceedings conclude.

European Socialists Suddenly Realize Open Border Policies Makes People Hate Them

Europe’s socialist leaders are avoiding the topic of illegal immigration as they struggle to compete with conservative populism across the continent.

The Party of European Socialists (PES), Europe’s second-largest political group, is hosting a three-day summit in Amsterdam beginning Thursday to energize activists as elections play out in various European countries. However, the leftist coalition will barely be addressing the issue of mass immigration, despite it being a top concern among European leaders.

“Migrants are increasingly criminalized and used as a scapegoat for social and economic hardships and to justify discriminatory policies,” states the one and only reference to the subject in the PES’ final declaration of the congress, first obtained by Politico. A Social Policy program, to be approved on Friday, also states the need to guarantee “the protection of migrants, asylum seekers and undocumented people.”

Immigration is not mentioned in an outline establishing the group’s priorities and talking points, and there is no scheduled debate for the issue, according to Politico.

Europe experienced an illegal immigration crisis in the mid-2010s when civil war in Syria and other international conflicts caused massive refugee flows, with more than one million illegal migrants landing on the continent in 2015. Illegal Gangbanger Placed Bounty On Top Border Official, Feds Say

An illegal migrant gangbanger allegedly offered thousands of dollars to kill one of the top enforcers of the Trump administration’s immigration agenda.

Federal law enforcement agents arrested Juan Espinoza Martinez, a criminal illegal migrant and member of the ruthless Latin Kings gang, on Monday, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Martinez is accused of offering at least $10,000 to take down Commander at Large of the Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino.

“Depraved individuals like Juan Espinoza Martinez – who do not value human life and threaten law enforcement– do NOT belong in this country,” Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a public statement. “We will not allow criminal gangs to put hits on U.S. government officials and our law enforcement officers.”

“Thanks to ICE and our federal law enforcement partners, this thug is off our streets and behind bars,” McLaughlin continued.

A confidential source provided information to law enforcement on Friday that a “hit” had been placed on Bovino, according to DHS. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) received a screenshot of a Snapchat conversation from a user named “Juan” who appeared to place a $2,000 reward for information on catching Bovino and a $10,000 bounty “if you take him down.” (Read more from “Illegal Gangbanger Placed Bounty On Top Border Official, Feds Say” HERE)

Head of School District Arrested for Avoiding Deportation, Found With Handgun After Chase

The superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools was arrested after federal agents discovered he was in the country illegally with a deportation order — and in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash and a hunting knife, authorities said.

Ian Andre Roberts, originally from Guyana, was taken into custody on Friday during a targeted enforcement operation, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in Des Moines.

“ICE Des Moines today arrested Ian Andre Roberts, a criminal illegal alien from Guyana in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash and a fixed blade hunting knife,” the agency said.

“At the time of his arrest Roberts was working as the Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools despite being an illegal alien with a final order of removal and no work authorization.”

Agents said Roberts sped off in his vehicle after being approached by officers. His car was later discovered abandoned near a wooded area. (Read more from “Head of School District Arrested for Avoiding Deportation, Found With Handgun After Chase” HERE)

Trump Admin Launches ‘Operation Midway Blitz’ to Target Illegal Immigration, Fight Violent Crime in Chicago

The Department of Homeland Security kicked off a crackdown on illegal immigrants in Chicago Monday — after local Democrats spent the weekend protesting President Trump’s threat of a federal law enforcement surge in America’s third-largest city.

“DHS is launching Operation Midway Blitz in honor of Katie Abraham who was killed in a drunk driving hit-and-run car wreck caused by criminal illegal alien Julio Cucul-Bol in Illinois,” the department announced on X..

“This ICE operation will target the criminal illegal aliens who flocked to Chicago and Illinois because they knew [Democratic] Governor [JB] Pritzker and his sanctuary policies would protect them and allow them to roam free on American streets.”

The statement concluded: “President Trump and [DHS] Secretary [Kristi] Noem stand with the victims of illegal alien crime while Governor Pritzker stands with criminal illegal aliens.”

ICE has been positioning staff to carry out operations in the Windy City for more than a week, leading sources to say that a crackdown was imminent. (Read more from “Trump Admin Launches ‘Operation Midway Blitz’ to Target Illegal Immigration, Fight Violent Crime in Chicago” HERE)

Report: State Gained 43,000 Illegal Aliens in Two Years

Colorado saw an influx of about 43,000 illegal aliens between 2021 and 2023, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center.

The report found that the state’s unauthorized immigrant population increased from 160,000 in 2021 to more than 200,000 by 2023. Most of that growth was concentrated in and around Denver, the Denver News Gazette reported.

City officials estimated that approximately 43,000 illegal aliens entered Denver during the period, with about 20,000 remaining in the city. The Gazette reported that the influx has cost Denver taxpayers at least $100 million.

Nationally, Pew estimated that 14 million illegal aliens were living in the United States in 2023, surpassing the previous peak of 12.2 million recorded in 2007. The research center attributed the increase to changes in federal immigration policy.

“The increase from 2021 to 2023 was driven primarily by growth in the number of unauthorized immigrants who were living in the U.S. with some protections from deportation, such as immigrants paroled into the country and asylum seekers,” the Pew report said.

According to Pew, about six million illegal immigrants entered the U.S. in 2023, twice the number from 2022, as asylum rules were eased. By 2023, unauthorized immigrants accounted for one in four migrants entering the country, the report found.

Pew noted that the trend began to slow after the Trump administration reinstated stricter rules and started denying additional applications, though it said the full impact of those changes will take time to measure.

Six states were reported to have between 500,000 and 2.3 million illegal immigrants each: California, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois.

Trump Mobilizes National Guardsmen to Assist With Illegal Immigration and Crime Crackdown

President Donald Trump is mobilizing approximately 1,700 National Guard troops across 19 states in support of his broader effort to combat illegal immigration and crime, according to multiple reports.

Fox News reported Friday that Guard members will be activated in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming. The deployments are expected to run from August through mid-November.

While the troops will support federal operations, they will remain under the authority of their state governors, Stars and Stripes noted.

A U.S. Defense official told Fox that the mobilized soldiers will play a supporting role in a “sweeping federal interagency effort,” serving both as logistical backing and a visible deterrent. The Guard members will assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with case management, transportation, and administrative tasks linked to migrant processing. Those duties may include collecting personal data, fingerprinting, DNA swabbing, and photographing individuals in custody.

The move comes amid a broader campaign by the Trump administration to tighten enforcement of immigration laws and address urban crime. Violent crime in Washington, D.C., has dropped 22 percent in the past week, according to Breitbart News. The decline follows Trump’s recent executive actions invoking Section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, which placed the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department under direct federal control and activated Guard forces in the capital.

The latest deployments mark a significant expansion of the administration’s use of the National Guard as both an operational and symbolic tool in addressing two of Trump’s central policy priorities: immigration enforcement and public safety.
