FAA Greenlights Plan to Allow Illegal Aliens to Be Housed at JFK Airport

This week, the Federal Aviation Administration signed off on plans to open an emergency relief shelter for illegal immigrants in an old postal warehouse at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

According to the New York Post, the FAA signed off on the Port Authority plans to open the shelter after local and state officials searched the city and surrounding areas for new places to house illegal immigrants coming from the southern border. According to the outlet, the area has seen more than 70,000 people arrive from South and Central America.

“The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey asked if an old postal warehouse near JFK Airport could be used for non-aviation purposes,” the FAA said in a statement. “The FAA found that the Port Authority had adequate security and safety plans in place.”

This State Is Offering Free College to Illegal Aliens

The blue state of Minnesota will now be offering illegal immigrants free college, which is being touted as a way to “provide historic investment for student support and our institutions.”

Axios reports the program, called the “North Star Promise,” is available to anyone who lives in the state, has graduated from a Minnesota high school, and lives in a household whose yearly income is below $80,000. In addition to free college, the state will also allow illegal immigrants the ability to obtain a driver’s license and access the health care plan afforded to low-income residents.

“We want to make sure that when we’re expanding opportunities for everybody, we’re doing it for all Minnesotans, regardless of background, regardless of their documentation status,” Senate Higher Education Chair Omar Fateh (DFL) told Axios.

Migrant Interviews Debunk Biden DHS’s False Talking Point About Cartel ‘Disinformation’

In government communiques, press conferences, and congressional hearings under oath, top Biden administration officials have repeatedly blamed a particular bogeyman for the unrelenting, historic southern-border mass-migration crisis now into its third year: human smugglers who spread “disinformation” that the border is “open.”

“DHS expects that encounters at the Southwest Border will increase as smugglers spread disinformation…” read a typical May 1, 2021 Department of Homeland Security Fact Sheet about a major upcoming policy shift.

When immigrants have died in trucks or trains while being smuggled into America, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and White House spokespeople have gone straight to the explanation of Mexican cartel disinformation.

The administration is now so invested in this narrative that, in a May 10 press conference, Mayorkas once more blamed a major border surge on “smugglers…hard at work spreading false information.” Then, the secretary announced a government salve: a “digital marketing campaign” to “counter the lies of smugglers” in Central and South America.

As someone who has interviewed thousands of U.S.-bound immigrants over the last several years, I can confidently attest that this narrative is a fabrication. It is pure political misdirection, deflecting blame away from Biden administration policies, which immigrants most commonly cite for why they come. Illegal Alien Arrested for Allegedly Dumping Newborn Baby in Hospital Trash Can

A migrant woman was arrested on Saturday after she was accused of dumping her newborn baby in a hospital trash can.

Lucia Garcia, 21, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment, according to police.

The New York Post reported that Garcia is originally from Mexico, but migrated to the United States roughly 10 months ago, and is seeking asylum. She currently lives in Staten Island with her father. Her mother still lives in Mexico.

Around 1 p.m. on Saturday, an off-duty New York Police Department officer working a side job at the Staten Island University Hospital spotted Garcia – who was soaked in blood. The NYPD officer notified his department about the blood-soaked woman.

Migrant Child Dies in Federal Custody, Marking Third Such Death in Two Months

A migrant child died in federal custody, marking the third such death in roughly two months, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

An eight-year-old girl died in Border Patrol custody in Harlingen, Texas, after experiencing a medical emergency, CBP said in a statement late Wednesday. This is the third migrant child to die in the past two months, after a migrant child died in federal custody days before, and another died in mid-March.

“Consistent with CBP protocol, the Office of Professional Responsibility is conducting an investigation of the incident. The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General and the Harlingen Police Department were also notified. Additional information will be made available in accordance with CBP’s policy regarding deaths in custody,” CBP said in the statement. Homeless Mom Forced to Change Baby’s Diaper on Outside Bench After Being Booted From Hotel for Illegal Aliens

Two homeless couples, including one with a baby, are getting the boot from a Yonkers hotel to make way for dozens of migrants being dumped there by New York City Mayor Eric Adams, the displaced denizens told The Post on Monday.

Savannah Harp, 24, was forced to change her 18-month-old son Emir’s diaper on a bench outside the Ramada Inn in Westchester County on Monday morning after being told that the hotel where she has been paying $150 a night for the past two weeks is now suddenly booked up.

Harp, who rebooked each morning to stay at the hotel on Tuckahoe Road with her baby and boyfriend, said she believes they were denied a room Monday after it emerged that up to 100 migrant families could start arriving there.

“[The migrants’ are not having to pay out of their own pocket, and I’m having to pay out of my own pocket — and then I have to leave whenever [hotel workers] say,” Harp said. . .

Biden DHS Is Literally Inviting Mexican Officials to Send Batches of Illegal Aliens Across the Border

Instead of stopping the illegal aliens currently swarming the border thanks to the upcoming expiration of Title 42 — a pandemic-era policy that allowed Border Patrol to immediately expel illegal migrants upon first encounter — the Biden administration is actively facilitating unlawful entries into the United States.

According to a report from the Center for Immigration Studies, President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has been coordinating with Mexican immigration officers to facilitate group swims across the border using an encrypted WhatsApp channel.

Mexican immigration officers explained to the Center for Immigration Studies that in late April, DHS initiated a “controlled-flow” system with Mexican officials.

Under the arrangement, Mexican senior officers have been continually informing U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials how many immigrants are “gathered and [are] prepared to cross the river.” Then, “the Americans on the other side would ask the Mexicans to hold back the migrants – not because such crossings are illegal and should be blocked and obstructed, but only until the Americans had finished processing the last batch,” explained Todd Bensman for the Center for Immigration Studies.

When the Americans can take more illegal migrants, they send word to the Mexican officials, who radio their on-ground immigration officers. Homeless Vets Are Being Booted From Hotels to Make Room for Illegal Aliens: Advocates

Nearly two dozen struggling homeless veterans have been booted from upstate hotels to make room for migrants, says a nonprofit group that works with the vets.

The ex-military — including a 24-year-old man in desperate need of help after serving in Afghanistan — were told by the hotels at the beginning of the week that their temporary housing was getting pulled out from under them at the establishments and that they’d have to move on to another spot, according to the group and a sickened local pol.

“Our veterans have been placed in another hotel due to what’s going on with the immigrants,’’ said Sharon Toney-Finch, the CEO of the Yerik Israel Toney Foundation.

Toney-Finch, a disabled military veteran, created YIT to raise awareness of premature births, as well as helping the homeless and low-income military service veterans in need of living assistance. . .

Toney-Finch said 15 of the veterans got the heave-ho from the Crossroads Hotel in Newburgh about 60 miles north of New York City in Orange County — a new epicenter of Big Apple’s migrant crisis since Mayor Eric Adams began bussing Gotham’s overflow there against local officials’ wishes. NBC Duped by Adult Border Crosser Who Posed as Migrant Child to Get Into U.S.

NBC News was forced to retract a published article in which the network interviewed a recently arrived border crosser claiming to be 16 years old and working in a Kansas slaughterhouse. Days later, the migrant admitted he posed as a child to get into the United States at the southern border.

On April 12, NBC News published the initial article in which a recently arrived male border crosser said he was 16 years old, enrolled in high school, and illegally worked at the Packers Sanitation Services, Inc., a meatpacking plant in Dodge City, Kansas.

According to the initial story, the border crosser was seemingly released to a sponsor in Kansas after arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border as an Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC).

The federal government’s UAC program allows young migrants to get released into the U.S. interior. The majority end up living with sponsors who are not their relatives.

This week, NBC News retracted the initial story after it was revealed that the border crosser claiming to be 16 years old is actually a 21-year-old who merely posed as a UAC at the southern border to get released into the U.S. interior. Biden Admin Predicts New Illegal Alien ‘Surge’ Next Month as Pandemic’s Border Restrictions Fade

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas acknowledged Tuesday that the conditions along the southern border will deteriorate next month when the government’s Title 42 pandemic authority to immediately expel illegal border crossers disappears, but told a congressional hearing that his department is working to adapt to the changed conditions.

Mr. Mayorkas did not offer specific numbers on border traffic, but a projection last year, ahead of a previous deadline for ending Title 42, said that as many as 18,000 illegal immigrants could cross per day.

That would be nearly triple the amount that arrived each day in March.

“We do anticipate a surge in the number of encounters,” Mr. Mayorkas told the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
