China Will Refuse to Take Back Illegal Immigrants in Retaliation for Pelosi Visit

China said Friday that it will stop accepting deportees from the U.S. as part of its retaliation for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit this week to Taiwan.

The move was among nine steps announced by China’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, along with ending cooperation on transnational crime and drugs, and halting talks on climate change.

It also raises the stakes for the Biden administration, which under U.S. law can punish countries that refuse to cooperate on deportations by refusing to issue new visas to that country’s citizens.

That decision belongs to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Joe Biden’s Deputies to Enable Abortions for Migrants Raped on Way to Texas

Present Joe Biden’s border officials have decided they will transport detained migrants who want abortions to U.S. states that allow abortions, according to the Wall Street Journal.

“Why are these [detained] women pregnant in the first place?” asked Rosemary Jenks, the policy director for NumbersUSA. “If they want abortions,] they could have been impregnated on their way here, probably by [members of the] cartels … that is probably a significant portion of the cases,” she told Breitbart News.

The Wall Street Journal reported on July 12 on the policy adopted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency:

The memo is from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Tae Johnson and is addressed to Corey Price, head of the agency’s enforcement division.

“This memorandum serves as a reminder of existing ICE policies and standards requiring that pregnant individuals detained in ICE immigration custody have access to full reproductive health care,” the memo states. “This is also a reminder that, pursuant to existing ICE policy, it may be necessary to transfer a detained pregnant individual within an area of responsibility (AOR) or to another AOR, when appropriate and practicable, in order to ensure such access.”

A Texas Rancher continues to witness the border crisis firsthand, as she has seen illegal immigrants on her property.

Stephanie Crisp-Canales joined “Fox & Friends First” Monday to share how her family has been affected by the lack of border security and called out the Biden administration for not helping residents and communities being impacted each day.

“We have had young adults come through our property in their twenties. And in the past month, we have seen many that are juveniles, 17 or younger. And it’s scary that these cartels are promising these juveniles a free passage over here. And they’re not telling them that they’re going to be crammed in a semi-trailer with 100 other people, left to die,” she said.

Illegal Aliens Arrested in July 4th Mass Shooting Plot After Tip From ‘Hero’

Two illegal immigrants were arrested in a mass shooting plot at the Richmond, Virginia, July Fourth celebration.

“A hero citizen picked up the phone and overheard a conversation there was a mass shooting being planned here in the city of Richmond, Virginia,” Richmond Chief of Police Gerald Smith said Wednesday.

Two illegal immigrants, 52-year-old Julio Alvarado-Dubon and 38-year-old Rolman Balacarcel, were arrested and charged with being a non-U.S. citizens in possession of a gun after police uncovered a plot that the duo planned a mass shooting at Richmond’s July 4 celebration Monday.

At a press conference Wednesday, Smith said that police investigated Alvarado-Dubon based on a tip to police by someone he would only refer to as a “hero citizen.” Police investigated the claims and found Alvarado-Dubon was in possession of two rifles, one handgun, and 223 rounds of ammunition. He was arrested on July 1, while Balacarcel was placed under surveillance and eventually arrested on the same charges on Tuesday.

Poll: Most Hispanic Voters Support Trump’s ‘Title 42’ Border Policy

A majority of Hispanic voters support former President Donald Trump’s Title 42 immigration policy that makes it easier for the federal government to deport border crossers and illegal aliens, according to an Axios-Ipsos poll released Thursday.

Axios found that 51 percent of Hispanic Americans support keeping Title 42 in place. On the other hand, just 44 percent are opposed to the policy.

“I think because it’s a COVID mitigation thing, we do see sort of higher support for it, than if it were just sort of a pure immigration concern,” Ipsos pollster and senior vice president Chris Jackson told Axios. Jackson was reportedly “surprised” that most Hispanics supported Title 42.

These poll numbers come as President Joe Biden’s administration is in a legal dispute over the pandemic-era immigration policy. After Biden announced the program would end in May, 21 states sued the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), alleging Biden unlawfully terminated the program.

Democrats Deal: We’ll Keep Border Barrier If Republicans OK More Legal Migration

Democrats and their business-backed allies are hinting they want the Republicans to okay more legal migration in exchange for keeping border barriers against illegal migration.

“I don’t think there’s any incentive for the Republicans to deal,” amid Democratic threats to lift the Title 42 border barrier against migration, responded Jessica Vaughan, the policy studies director at the Center for Immigration Studies.

“The Republicans know enough to insist on a clean extension of Title 42, not one encumbered with the Democrats’ wish list items,” she said, adding:

The Democrats might think that they could get something in exchange for allowing a Title 42 extension. But I think it would be a miscalculation. I don’t think it’s a good look for them to be trying to put a price on Title 42 extension when most of the public wants it extended. That would be seen as obstructing or complicating the continuation of Title 42.

Some Democratic supporters indicate they have little leverage. “Democrats are terrified that ending Title 42 enforcement will produce an all-out border crisis just in time for the midterm elections,” Democratic strategist William Galston wrote in the April 19 Wall Street Journal. Even Some Democrats Are Sounding Alarm on Biden’s Imminent Move at the Border

Democratic Michigan Rep. Elissa Slotkin and Democratic Virginia Rep. Abigail Spanberger sent a letter Tuesday to President Joe Biden’s administration expressing their concern about the border crisis, saying he should delay the decision to lift Title 42.

The letter was sent by the two Democrats to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy Susan Rice. In it, the two lawmakers shared reasons why they believe Title 42 should not yet be lifted by the Biden administration, saying they want to avoid a humanitarian and security crisis.

Tile 42 is a public health measure issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that allows the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to rapidly expel migrants on public health grounds.

“Given our backgrounds in national security, we know the Executive Branch is accustomed to planning for contingencies, and it is for this reason that we submit to you the below requests for actions to be taken before the administration lifts the Title 42 order, so that we prevent a humanitarian and security crisis,” the lawmakers wrote in the letter obtained first by Fox News.

“We are concerned about how DHS will contend with an increase of people — including children and families — that will more than triple the department’s capacity without ample and robust planning,” the lawmakers added. “And while the administration gave itself two months to prepare, what has been shared with us to date seems like too little, too late — especially when the removal of Title 42 will occur at the same time that a spike in seasonal migration occurs.” (Read more from “Even Some Democrats Are Sounding Alarm on Biden’s Imminent Move at the Border” HERE)

Poll: Americans Want Biden to Get Tough on Illegal Immigration

More than half of American adults want President Joe Biden to have a tougher policy regarding illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border, a new poll concludes.

The CBS News/YouGov poll reveals that 52 percent of Americans say Biden “should be tougher” on border crossers and illegal aliens at the southern border while just 2-in-10 say he “should be easier.” About 27 percent say Biden is “handling things right” at the border.

Of the more than half of Americans who want Biden to be tougher on illegal immigration, 86 percent are Republicans and 52 percent are swing voters. Likewise, nearly 3-in-10 Democrat voters want Biden to crack down on illegal immigration.

Americans hold Biden’s handling of immigration issues in extremely low regard, the poll finds. About 62 percent of Americans disapprove of his policies on immigration thus far.

When asked what U.S. policy should be when border crossers and illegal aliens cross the border, about 4-in-10 Americans — including 66 percent of Republicans and 41 percent of swing voters — said they want to see immediate deportations. Texas Military Begins Mass Migration Response Drills to Fight Biden’s Border Crisis

Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered the Texas Military Department to begin mass migration response rehearsals along the state’s border with Mexico. The order comes in response to the Biden Administration’s plans to cancel the Title 42 coronavirus protection protocol, which is expected to drive the already record-setting number of 8,000 migrants to more than 18,000 a day, per a federal estimate.

“The National Guard will begin its first phase of mass migration rehearsals tomorrow [Thursday], to begin the preparation for what we are anticipating to be a potential mass influx of people coming across the border,” Governor Abbott said during a Wednesday afternoon press conference in Weslaco, Texas. “All troopers, and specially trained National Guard, will be equipped with riot gear in case of caravan violence like what we have seen occur in Mexico.”

The governor said federal officials estimate the ending of the Title 42 protocol could lead to more than 500,000 migrants per month attempting to cross the border from Mexico. Historically, about 60 to 70 percent of migrant crossings occur in the five Texas-based Border Patrol sectors. This would mean Texas needs to prepare for more than 300,000 per month — roughly equal to the population of Corpus Christi.

In a DHS contingency plan reviewed by Breitbart Texas, under a section titled, Critical Assumptions, officials noted “ICE ATD [Alternative to Detention] will be implemented on a greater scale.” The footnote for this paragraph adds:

Increased processing speeds, throughput, and the use of ATD is the quickest solution for processing FMUA [Family Unit Aliens] where T42 is no longer viable. However, relatively low percentages of FMUA reported for removal proceedings in the past once released on ATD. There is no evidence that a higher percentage of noncitizens will report for removal proceedings in the future if released, regardless of how expeditiously they are processed.

White House Defends Giving Illegal Crossers Smart Phones to Report to ICE

The White House on Wednesday defended the idea of giving smartphones to illegal border crossers, to help them stay in touch with ICE officials.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki appeared indignant after Fox News reporter Peter Doocy questioned her about the program, detailed recently in their reporting.

“I think you, of all people, since you’ve asked me a range of questions on this topic over time, would recognize that we need to take steps to ensure that we know where individuals are and we can track, and we can check in with then,” she replied.

Psaki said the phones provided to migrants and border crossers were part of the administration’s “alternative to detention” program at the border.
