By New York Post. Former President Donald Trump said the country is becoming a “cesspool of humanity” as the Biden administration scrambles to handle the more than 14,000 mainly Haitian migrants living in a makeshift camp under a bridge in Texas.

“​The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our Country are pouring in by the millions. They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want​,” Trump said in an emailed statement on Sunday.

“​Our Country is rapidly becoming a cesspool of humanity. Murderers, drug dealers, and criminals of all shapes and sizes are a big part of this massive migration​,” the former president said.

More than 14,000 Haitians have been camping out in squalid conditions under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas, since last week waiting to be arrested, leading the Biden administration to close an entry point, reroute traffic, deploy more Border Patrol agents and arrange flights, which could begin as soon as Sunday, to return them to the Caribbean nation.​

“Tens of thousands of people are coming from Haiti, and many now from countries in Africa, even more so now than South America. Donald Trump Jr. Blames Democrats for ‘Out of Control’ Texas Border Crisis

By Newsweek. Donald Trump Jr. has blamed Democrats for the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border and pointed to the large numbers of migrants currently encamped underneath a bridge in Texas.

Former President Donald Trump’s eldest son took to Twitter on Friday to share a campaign from the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and criticize Democrats’ handling of the situation.

At least 12,000 migrants are now in a makeshift camp under the Del Rio International Bridge in the small town of Del Rio, Texas having crossed the Rio Grande from Mexico.

Crisis Continues to Grow: Numbers Swell Overnight to 12K Migrants Detained Under Border Bridge in Texas

A law enforcement source within CBP tells Breitbart Texas that the total number of migrant detainees held at the makeshift camp exceeds 12,000. The pace has increased substantially in recent hours, according to the source.

The Border Patrol is struggling to deal with what may be the worst migrant humanitarian crisis in the agency’s history. The local Border Patrol stations and processing facilities have reached capacity and can accept no more migrants. Available buses are being used to transport the migrants away but are not sufficient to meet the demands at present. The number of migrants waiting under a bridge in Texas to be apprehended by the Border Patrol has doubled overnight and now tops more than 8,000 people, according to a report on Thursday.

Drone footage shot by Fox News shows the sea of migrants, the majority from Haiti, under the International Bridge in Del Rio, Texas, and sources tell the network that the situation is “out of control” and that Border Patrol agents are overwhelmed.

There were about 4,000 migrants at the bridge on Wednesday, but the number spiked overnight to around 8,200.

A law enforcement official told Fox News that most of the crowd is made up mostly of Haitians and more are arriving every moment.

The stunning images come a day after Fox News reported that there were more than 200,000 encounters with illegal immigrants at the southern border in August, marking the second straight month in which the numbers exceeded that amount.

Report: Biden Administration Has Lost Track of a Third of Released Migrant Kids

The U.S. government has reportedly lost touch with thousands of illegal immigrant children whom they released from custody.

According to data obtained by Axios via a Freedom of Information Act request, roughly on-in-three calls made to migrant children who had been released to their sponsors between January and May of this year went unanswered, suggesting the United States is not adequately protecting those children from harm.

“This is very dismaying,” Mark Greenberg, a former Obama administration official told Axios about the data. “If large numbers of children and sponsors aren’t being reached, that’s a very big gap in efforts to help them.”

Care providers made 14,600 calls to check in with minors released from Department of Health and Human Services shelters and taken in by relatives and vetted sponsors. Workers were unable to reach 4,890 of those migrants or their sponsors. The percentage of calls that went unanswered jumped from 26% in January to 37% in May.

The data also show that the government is not making as many calls as it should. Thirty-two thousand children were released into the United States from HHS shelters, but the government placed fewer than 15,000 follow up calls. ‘A Real Threat’: Terrorists May Exploit Migrant Surge — and Enter the US, Ex-Border Honcho Warns

The former ​Border Patrol chief is warning that President Biden’s mishandling of the surge of illegal immigrants at the southern border has caused more than a humanitarian crisis — it’s also created a national security threat because of the number of known or suspected terrorists crossing into the US.

“Over and over again, I see other people talk about our mission, your mission, and the context of it being immigration or the current crisis today being an immigration crisis,” ​Rodney ​Scott ​said in a video message to his agents before retiring on Aug. 14, which was obtained by the Washington Examiner.

“I firmly believe that it is a national security crisis. Immigration is just a subcomponent of it, and right now, it’s just a cover for massive amounts of smuggling going across the southwest border — to include TSDBs at a level we have never seen before. That’s a real threat​,” Scott said, referring to the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database. ​​

Border Crisis: More Than 212K Crossing Attempts Stopped Last Month

More than 212,000 illegal immigrants attempting to cross the US-Mexico border were stopped by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) last month, a staggering number that is likely to put more pressure on the Biden administration amid the ongoing crisis.

The 212,672 stops in July represented a 12.6 percent increase over June, when 188,934 stops were reported. The only month in the last 21 years with more encounters was March of 2000, when 220,063 stops were reported at the southwest frontier.

The number of attempts to cross the US-Mexico border has risen every month since President Joe Biden took office, defying the trend of previous years in which attempted crossings peaked in May but slowed down with the onset of the summer heat. The July figures mark a 171 percent increase over the 78,417 stops reported in January and a 160 percent increase over the 81,777 stops in July 2019.

Governor Punches Back At Biden After White House Attacked Florida’s COVID Policies (VIDEO)

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ripped into President Joe Biden for the ongoing border crisis and surge in COVID-19 cases among illegal immigrants on Wednesday shortly after the White House took shots at the Republican leader and his state over rising virus cases and hospitalizations.

“Why don’t you do your job? Why don’t you get this border secure and until you do that, I don’t want to hear a blip about COVID from you,” DeSantis said. His comments were met with applause.

While the White House fails to address the record number of illegal aliens who continue to pour across the U.S. border without being tested for COVID-19, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki pledged to keep calling out Republican states that she claims are hampering the administration’s efforts to mitigate the virus. Psaki claimed the decision to pressure these states is “not meant to be political.”

Convicted Illegal Alien Rapist Accused of Impregnating 12 Year Old

An illegal alien, previously convicted of first-degree rape, has since been accused of impregnating a 12-year-old girl whom he considered his girlfriend.

Juan Miranda-Jara, a 24-year-old illegal alien, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape of a minor after he arrived at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a 12-year-old girl with whom he had been in a relationship.

According to the Tulsa Police Department, doctors called officers to investigate a child rape case. When officers arrived at the hospital, Miranda-Jara said he was the father of the 12-year-old girl’s child that had just been born.

FOX 23 News reported:

Doctors immediately called 911 when the girl showed up telling officers they had a rape victim they needed to see immediately, he said. When officers arrived, Miranda-Jara proudly said he was the father of the child the 12-year-old mother was about to give birth to, and he acted a bit unsure as to why police were even getting involved. Officers believe Miranda-Jara was fully expecting to go home with his child-girlfriend and newborn baby later that day as if everything was perfectly legal. The age of consent in Oklahoma is 16. Biden Backs Adding Amnesty Into Democrats’ Budget Bill

President Biden threw his weight Thursday behind a push to add a major amnesty for illegal immigrants into Democrats’ budget proposal, delivering presidential heft to the effort.

“I think we should include in the reconciliation bill the immigration proposal,” the president told reporters after meeting with Senate Democrats on immigration.

Reconciliation is the process that allows budget-related programs to be passed without having to survive a filibuster. But there are also significant restrictions on what kinds of things can be done through reconciliation.

Biden Forbids Immigration Judges From Using the Term ‘Alien’

Federal immigration judges may no longer use the word “alien” in their legal opinions, according to a Department of Justice directive.

Citing an immigration order from President Joe Biden, senior DOJ official Jean King instructed the nation’s 539 immigration judges to “use language that is consistent with our character as a nation of opportunity and of welcome.” The July 23 memo forbids employees in the Executive Office for Immigration Review from using “‘alien’ or ‘illegal alien’ to describe migrants.”

King suggests judges use “respondent, applicant, petitioner, beneficiary, migrant, noncitizen, or non-U.S. citizen,” as a replacement when writing opinions. Instead of “undocumented alien” or “illegal alien,” judges should use “undocumented noncitizen, undocumented non-U.S. citizen, or undocumented individual,” the document says.

The Immigration and Nationality Act describes an “alien” as “any person not a citizen or national of the United States.” A variety of federal laws and regulations use the term “alien” to describe individuals who can be removed from the United States, in contrast to mere nationals, who may be American citizens or residents of territories such as American Samoa.
