796 Dead Babies Found Hidden in Septic Tank at Unwed Mothers’ Home Run by Nuns

Excavation has begun on a septic tank at a site in Ireland that authorities believe contains the remains of nearly 800 dead babies and children who died at a home for unwed mothers run by Catholic nuns.

Many of the infant remains are feared to have been dumped in the cesspool known as “the pit” at the former institution in the small town of Tuam, County Galway, local historian Catherine Corless told Sky News.

In total, 798 children died at the home between 1925 and its closure in 1961, of which just two were buried in a nearby cemetery, Corless’ research found.

The other 796 children’s remains are believed to be under the site of the Bon Secours Mother and Baby Home, which was demolished in 1971 and is now surrounded by a modern apartment complex.

Bon Secours, known locally as The Home, was a maternity home for unmarried mothers and their children, run by a religious order of Catholic nuns. (Read more from “796 Dead Babies Found Hidden in Septic Tank at Unwed Mothers’ Home Run by Nuns” HERE)

County Has Highest COVID Case Rate In Country, Despite Nearly 100% Vaccination Rate

With 99.7% of adults in the Irish county of Waterford having received the COVID shots, they have the highest per-capita case rate of COVID anywhere in the country. Are they now going to suggest it’s the fault of the 0.3%?!

The Irish Times reported last week that with one Waterford city district at a 14-day incidence rate of 1,486 cases per 100,000 of the population, Waterford has the highest incidence rate of anywhere in Ireland. The COVID case rate is three times the national average, which in itself has been increasing steadily in recent weeks, despite 91% of Irish adults being vaccinated. However, Waterford takes the cake.

“Waterford has the highest rate of vaccination in the country with 99.7 per cent of adults over the age of 18 (as registered in the last census) fully vaccinated,” reports the Irish Times. “The county has gone from having one of the lowest rates of Covid-19 infection in Ireland to one of the highest.”

How can a vaccine that is this leaky, and apparently even counterproductive, continue to be pushed on a population even if it had zero side effects? How many more examples of this do we need to see?

And no, it’s not just mild cases. Ireland has the highest number of people in the hospital with COVID since March, and the trajectory is getting worse. This is with the highest vaccination rate in the EU – over 90% of those over 16 – and it’s particularly bad in the most vaccinated county of Ireland. The state’s chief medical officer, Dr. Tony Holohan, said he was “increasingly worried about the rising incidence of the disease nationwide” and that the primary focus “must be to protect the most vulnerable from Covid-19.” He then proceeded to blame the unvaccinated! Gee, if just 9% of those over 16 in the country are unvaccinated and just 0.3% in the worst area, what percentage of the vulnerable do you think are not vaccinated?! And wasn’t the vaccine designed to protect “the most vulnerable?” (Read more from “County Has Highest COVID Case Rate In Country, Despite Nearly 100% Vaccination Rate” HERE)

Country Legalizes Abortion Without Limits for Babies With Severe Mental or Physical Impairments

Northern Ireland will soon enforce laws stating that no limits will apply on abortions of babies with severe mental or physical impairments, though a consultation performed by the Northern Ireland Office found that 79% of respondents did not support the specific framework.

The framework, created by the Northern Ireland Office (NIO), will allow abortions to take place in Northern Ireland “without conditionality” up until 12 weeks, the BBC reported.

There will be no time limit in cases of “fatal foetal abnormality,” according to the BBC, or if the baby would suffer from a severe mental or physical impairment.

If the continuation of a pregnancy would potentially injure the mother’s physical or mental health, a limit of 24 weeks will apply, according to the BBC. The U.K. government did not add medication abortion to the framework. . .

“I fundamentally reject that Westminster has brought these forward today,” said former Northern Ireland minister Arlene Foster, the Irish Times report. “We have a devolved administration, it should have been a devolved administration that dealt with these issues … we will be looking at how we can deal with these issues going forward in the future.” (Read more from “Country Legalizes Abortion Without Limits for Babies With Severe Mental or Physical Impairments” HERE)

SURPRISE: British Prime Minister Refuses to Legalize Abortion in Northern Ireland After Historic Irish Vote

British Prime Minister Theresa May faces a showdown with ministers and lawmakers in her Conservative party after refusing to back reform of Northern Ireland’s highly restrictive abortion rules after neighboring Ireland’s vote to liberalize its laws.

Voters in Ireland, a once deeply Catholic nation, backed the change by two-to-one, a far higher margin than any opinion poll in the run up to the vote had predicted.

The prime minister is facing calls from within her cabinet and from opposition parties to scrap the strict rules on abortion in Northern Ireland, bringing the law in the province in line with the rest of the United Kingdom. . .

A spokeswoman for May said on Sunday changing the rules should only be undertaken by a government in Northern Ireland, which has been without a devolved executive since January last year after a power-sharing agreement collapsed. . .

Northern Ireland has some of the most restrictive abortion laws in Europe with even rape and fatal foetal abnormality not considered legal grounds for a termination. And unlike other parts of the United Kingdom, abortions are banned apart from when the life or mental health of the mother is in danger. Prime Minister: Pro-Life Law ‘a Legacy of Shame’

By The Daily Wire. On the eve of Ireland voting on whether or not to enshrine abortion as a constitutional right, the country’s far-left Prime Minister condemned Ireland’s pro-life record as being “a legacy of shame.”

The abortion activists in Ireland could not possibly have a greater ally than Prime Minister Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, who has been pushing a far-left agenda ever since his ascendancy in 2015 that saw the overturn of traditional marriage. Leading up to the vote on overturning the country’s Eighth Amendment, the PM has aggressively pushed the pro-abortion agenda.

“There has been in Ireland a legacy of shame in many ways,” Varadkar said, the Irish Examiner reports. “The fact that 170,000 women have had to travel, sometimes in secret, to another jurisdiction to end their pregnancies.” . . .

These are the same talking points pushed by Irish actor Liam Neeson just a few weeks ago. LifeNews responded by debunking the false picture of Ireland’s handling of women’s health painted by pro-abortion activists: . . .

Irish doctors have been some of the most outspoken advocates against abortion, saying the repeal of the Eighth Amendment would do nothing whatsoever to help Irish women.

Exit Polls Show That Voters in Ireland Might Have Just Legalized Abortion by a Landslide

By The Blaze. Irish citizens voted on Friday over whether or not to lift the ban on abortion in the country, and exit polls are showing that the bid to allow the practice appears to have been quite successful.

In 1983, the eight amendment to the Irish constitution was ratified, which outlawed abortion in the country. Since then, roughly 170,000 Irish women have traveled to other countries to have pregnancies terminated.

A poll conducted by RTE Television showed that almost 70 percent of respondents voted to repeal the abortion ban, and another poll for The Irish Times was similar — showing 68 percent of those surveyed voted for repealing the eight amendment, against 32 percent who said abortions should still be banned in the country.

The results also exposed large divisions between age groups, with voters over 65 mostly voting against repealing the ban on abortions, and 18 to 24-year-olds voting for repeal at roughly 87 percent. Man Gropes Tourist, Telling Her She ‘Liked It’ Because She’s ‘American.’ He Messed with the Wrong Girl.

While traveling alone in Dublin, Ireland last month, a Colorado woman was harassed and physically assaulted on the street by a man who tauntingly told her she probably “liked it” because she’s an “American.”

Yeah, the assailant messed with the wrong girl. Leanna Carr, 26, happens to be a powerlifter and a strength coach, and when she felt threatened by the man, she reacted by punching him right in the kisser.

Carr was catching a bus to Galway when she felt a man grab her rear end “aggressively and intentionally.” The assaulter was reportedly laughing “hysterically” when she turned around to see who attacked her. “You’re an American, you probably liked it,” he whispered to her. That was enough for Carr to clench her fist and punch the man . . .

Carr posted a photo of her bruised knuckles to Twitter on April 21, explaining the incident. “While walking down the street in Dublin earlier this week, a man grabbed my butt. He proceeded to laugh hysterically and said ‘you’re an American, you probably liked it,'” she captioned the photo. “Apparently traveling solo has made me a better person bc my first reaction was to punch him in the face.”

First lady Michelle Obama is sparing no expense on her trip to Ireland, staying at a $3,300-per-night hotel suite in Dublin.

Irish press reports Monday said Mrs. Obama and her entourage have booked 30 rooms in the five-star Shelbourne hotel. The first lady is said to be staying in the Princess Grace Suite, named for the Hollywood film star and princess who had an attachment to the room.

The suite has two guest bedrooms, a living room and a dining area, according to the hotel’s website. There are four phones, three large televisions, bedding of 100 percent Egyptian cotton, a Nespresso machine and butler service.

The cost of the two-day trip in Ireland and Northern Ireland has been estimated at around $5 million. U.S. taxpayers pay the cost of the first family’s travel.

The Obama family also will travel to Germany, where President Obama is to give a speech on Wednesday.

[Editor’s note: this Irish trip is in addition to the colossal $100 million that may be spent on the Obamas’ trip to Africa later this month]

The Irish Should be Remembered by America this Memorial Day for their Great Military Service

Photo Credit: Irish Central When the Romans first visited Ireland, they called it Hibernia, the sleeping land…See Hibernia. But soon, to their dismay, they found the people were not at all a sleeping group.

In the early 1st century, Roman and Greek knowledge of Ireland was thin, but the geographers Strabo and Pomponius Mela describe “a cold land populated by extremely fierce inhabitants.” In lore of combat between Romans and native Irish, the Romans feared the Irish and their woman warriors most for the fierceness of their attacks and utter lack of fear.

Invasions by warlike foreigners left their mark on Ireland and mixed their blood with the Irish. In the late 700’s the Vikings attacked and tried to establish permanent settlements See history of Vikings invading Ireland. The Vikings were eventually defeated, but many of them stayed and intermarried with the native population. Later the Normans came and went and then the British appeared.

The unique blend of the Irish and their invaders created a hybrid of warrior that has filled the ranks of many armies around the world.

Many Irish immigrated to the “new lands” of the American continent to find the opportunity and freedom that they couldn’t find in their native land. They took up arms to defend their adopted countries and to fight for what they believed to be battles for freedom and justice.

The influence Irish had in Latin America over the past 200 + years is historic. The Irish fought alongside their brothers and sisters in their new homelands. They shed their blood in many wars to help free millions from the tyranny of colonialism. See Irish in Latin America

But when the Irish found their way to North America, their presence was felt immediately in the armed forces battling for freedom in every step of the way.

The Irish played an integral part in the Revolutionary war, when a fledgling country had to win its freedom by force from British rule. Names like John Barry, the founder of our navy, Jeremiah O’Brien, Timothy Murphy, Molly Pitcher, John Sullivan and thousands of other Irish, who fought and died to form the new country of the United States.

The Irish stepped forward again, when the English returned and tried to re-conquer our young country in the war of 1812 and threw them back at the Battle of New Orleans.

Tragically when our country was torn apart by its civil war, Irish Americans fought on both sides to play key roles in the major battles that finally saw a divided country, unite again. One of the most famous units in all of American military history was a brigade known during the American Civil War as simply “The Irish Brigade.” See Irish Brigade; Heroes of the Civil War.

When the United States stepped into the 1st World War, the Irish Americans distinguished themselves in many memorable battles and astonished the Germans with their fierceness and valor. Especially noteworthy when they fought and brawled hand to hand with German crack troops as members of the famed “Lost Battalion.”

World War II saw another generation of Irish Americans push their way forward to defend their country against one of the greatest axis of evils the world had seen. Irish Americans were over represented in the awarding of Medals of Honor in the field of battle, with Audie Murphy becoming one of the most decorated soldiers in American history.

Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan…Wherever and whenever the country needs to be defended and fought for, Irish Americans have a long history of being right there at the tip of the spear, where the greatest fighting occurs.

In war as well as peace, our country has benefited from the valor of its warriors of Irish descent. It is good to remember our “fighting” Irish American warriors on this Memorial Day weekend.

Sean Hannity Says Yasir Arafat Is The Father Of Modern Terror, But Arafat Learned From Ireland’s Michael Collins

President Obama’s trip to the Middle East saw him making speeches and conferring with Israeli, as well as Palestinian leaders. While Obama was in Ramallah with Palestinian President Abbas, they held a joint press conference. Unfortunately for President Obama, the optics didn’t look good as he addressed the assembled journalists under a Yasir Arafat banner.

Arafat probably one of the worlds most renowned terrorists before Osama Bin laden came on the scene, is responsible for thousands of deaths to innocent civilians. For a President of the United States to be caught under a poster of this man, is an extremely bad gaffe. The photos will be used as propaganda by many groups around the world to recruit terrorists.

According to the group known as the “Committee for Accuracy in Mideast Reporting in America,” Arafat is the father of modern day terrorism. Perhaps that is why Sean Hannity echoed that opinion today on his radio show, as he railed against the President getting caught under the Arafat poster. See list of Arafats terror strikes here.

But modern day terror tactics were not an invention of Yasir Arafat, they were in fact invented by Ireland’s military leader and brilliant tactician, Michael Collins. Many consider him to be the father of modern day terror tactics as well as the father of the Irish Republic.

In 1916 Collins invented those tactics as he sat in a Welsh prison…put their by the British. Those tactics as employed by his Irish Republican Army, forced the British to the bargaining table after centuries of effort by Ireland’s citizens failed to do it.

According to terrorism expert James Biesterfield in a very informative article published in IrishCentral, September, 2011:

From a purely analytic viewpoint, Michael Collins was absolutely critical in the advancement of modern terrorist & insurgency organizations. In following the timeline through the 20th Century terrorist groups, it appears that virtually ALL groups have and are following, the IRA Model.

The PLO and Yasser Arafat used and improved upon this model in the 1960’s/ 70’s. This led to a vast number of terrorist fighters from all over the world attending training at PLO camps located in Libya during this period. Following this, we began to see cooperative efforts on the part of terrorist groups (i.e. Lod Airport, Rome Airport, Mogadishu, etc).

For good or bad, credit should be given where due. One mans freedom fighter can be another mans terrorist.

Clinton Has Apparently Researched What Countries He Can Now Run For President In

Former President Bill Clinton talked about his eligibility to serve as the leader of both Ireland and France in an exchange with CNN host Pierce Morgan last month.

Morgan, who is from Great Britain said, “We’re trying to change the rules in Britain, actually, because if you can’t be president again here, we’d quite like you to be prime minister in our country. Are you available if it comes to — I get this through?”

Clinton did not answer specifically on Britain during his Sept. 30 appearance on the program.

“There are only two countries I’m eligible to run for the leadership position is if I move to Ireland and buy a house, I can — I can run for president of Ireland, because of my Irish heritage,” Clinton said. “And because I was born in Arkansas, which is part of the Louisiana Purchase, any person anywhere in the world that was born in a place that ever was part of the French empire, if you move to — if you live in France for six months and speak French, you can run for president.”

Clinton said he was popular in France, but had doubts that popularity would hold up.
