By Townhall. . .Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chair of the House Oversight Committee, revealed that a top witness in his investigation has gone missing. No, I’m not joking; this person is lost (via Newsweek):

Representative James Comer, a Kentucky Republican, admitted on Sunday that his fellow Republicans lost track of a key witness in an investigation about the Biden family being involved in an alleged bribery scheme.

The Kentucky Republican and Senator Chuck Grassley, an Iowa Republican, wrote in a letter sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland earlier this month that they received “legally protected and highly credible unclassified” information from the whistleblower. They also wrote that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI would have enough information to determine the accuracy and the credibility of the information in the document.

Meanwhile, Fox News host Maria Bartiromo asked Comer during an interview on Sunday Morning Futures about the current whereabouts of the informant.

“Well, unfortunately, we can’t track down the informant,” Comer responded on Sunday. “We’re hopeful that the informant is still there. The whistleblower knows the informant. The whistleblower is very credible.”

Republican Admits Key ‘Informant’ Against Joe Biden Now Missing

By Newsweek. Representative James Comer, a Kentucky Republican, admitted on Sunday that his fellow Republicans lost track of a key witness in an investigation about the Biden family being involved in an alleged bribery scheme.

On Wednesday, House Oversight Committee Republicans released a 36-page memo accusing members of the Biden family of earning millions of dollars during Joe Biden’s term as vice president under former President Barack Obama from a number of Chinese and Romanian companies they claim posed “potential threats” to the United States.

The memo, a copy of which was obtained by Newsweek, includes redacted images of transactions involving a number of bank accounts purportedly belonging to members of the Biden family. It outlines a network of secretive bank accounts connected not only to Biden’s son, Hunter, but to a number of other family members, all of whom Comer, the committee’s chairman, accused of using Biden’s position to curry favor with foreign governments and peddle influence on U.S. foreign policy.

The documents released Wednesday provide no evidence that President Biden was ever directly involved in the alleged schemes—or even if the payments in question resulted in tangible impact on U.S. policy. (Read more from “Republican Admits Key ‘Informant’ Against Joe Biden Now Missing” HERE)

Biden’s DHS Gives Phones to Border Crossers While Releasing Them Into U.S.; ‘Border Czar’ Kamala Harris Kicks off Lifting of Title 42 With Democrat ‘Soiree’

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is issuing cell phones to border crossers and illegal aliens as they are being released into the United States. The phones are used strictly to track their whereabouts following their release.

Biden ended Title 42, one of the administration’s last few border controls to stem waves of illegal immigration, on Friday and began implementing a series of programs under its Catch and Release network that ensure most border crossers and illegal aliens are released into the United States while awaiting their immigration hearings, which are often years out.

As part of that process, DHS provides some border crossers and illegal aliens with phones to track their whereabouts. Those given phones are enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention (ATD) program, which allows new arrivals to remain in the United States without being detained while waiting for their cases to come up.

‘Border Czar’ Kamala Harris Kicks off Lifting of Title 42 With Democrat ‘Soiree’

By Breitbart. Vice President Kamala Harris kicks off her administration’s lifting of Title 42 by headlining the Democrat Party of Georgia’s “Spring Soiree” fundraiser on Friday.

Harris, named border czar by President Joe Biden in 2021, is scheduled to attend the “Spring Soiree” on Friday in Atlanta and the private fundraiser hosted by the Democrat National Committee (DNC). The events mark the beginning of their Biden-Harris campaign push to raise as much money as possible for the 2024 election cycle.

She will be attending the fundraisers instead of visiting the U.S.-Mexico border in her capacity as border czar, where 400,000 border crossers and illegal aliens are expected to come to the southern border every month, as the Biden administration puts an end to Title 42.

Title 42 was a federal public health authority that aimed to control the border, which expired at 11:59 p.m. Thursday. The House Republicans passed legislation, H.R.2, on Thursday to codify some of former President Trump’s strictest border policies. But, the legislation still has to get through the Senate, and the White House has promised President Joe Biden will veto it. Top Taiwanese Official Responds to Biden’s Remarks About Us Troops in Taiwan

A top Taiwanese official responded Monday to the Biden administration repeatedly clarifying President Joe Biden’s remarks about Taiwan, saying the U.S. can have “different interpretations” about the “One China” policy, but that there is also “One Taiwan.”

Biden has vowed to send U.S. troops in the event of a Chinese attack on Taiwan, seemingly departing from a decades-long practice of U.S. non-commitment to military action. In response, the Biden administration scrambled to maintain that the U.S. stands by its “One China” policy and does not encourage Taiwanese independence.

“I think we have different interpretations for the so-called ‘One China’ policy. I also agree with [the] ‘One China’ policy, but I would add ‘One Taiwan’ as well,” You Si-kun, the president of the Taiwanese Legislative Yuan, told the Daily Caller.

Under the “One China” policy, the U.S. recognizes that the Chinese government is the only government but merely acknowledges the Chinese position that Taiwan is a part of China. Officially, the policy of “strategic ambiguity” means that the U.S. has an unofficial relationship with the island.

Hunter Biden Laptop Letter Signers Donated Thousands to Joe Biden’s Campaign

At least a dozen ex-intelligence officials who signed the letter linking Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop to Russia steered tens of thousands of dollars to Joe Biden’s campaign and joint fundraising committee ahead of the 2020 presidential election, records show.

The October 2020 letter has come back under the spotlight after a handful of revelations about its origins, including that ex-Obama CIA head Mike Morell testified in April to congressional investigators that then-Biden campaign adviser and now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken “triggered” him to write it. Between May 2019 and November 2020, 12 laptop letter signers boosted Biden with campaign donations to the tune of almost $40,000, according to campaign finance disclosures.

The 12 laptop letter signers spent an average of roughly $3,300 total supporting Biden in 2020, a sum that takes into account how Jeremy Bash, an ex-chief of staff for both former President Barack Obama’s CIA and Defense Department and now the managing director at the Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm Beacon Global Strategies, contributed $18,900 to Biden for President and the Biden Victory Fund.

Bash was appointed in August 2022 by Biden to the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, which “oversees the Intelligence Community’s compliance with the Constitution and all applicable laws, Executive Orders, and Presidential Directives,” according to an archived version of the board’s website under Obama. Joe Biden: ‘The Most Dangerous Terrorist Threat to Our Homeland Is White Supremacy’

Here we go again; President Joe Biden claims white people are the biggest threat to the U.S. despite making several racist statements during his lifetime.

While giving a commencement speech at Howard University, the Historical Black College and University (HBCU) that is the alma mater of Vice President Kamala Harris, Biden condemned “white supremacy,” saying that it is the most dangerous thing the U.S. faces, unlike his lax open border policies, which have caused the country to see skyrocketing overdoses from fentanyl or the high number of sex trafficking cases ravaging us.

“Stand up against the poison of white supremacy,” Biden said. “As I did in my inaugural address throughout a single hour, the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy. And I’m not saying this because I’m at a black HBCU. I say it wherever I go.”

Biden has a history of making racist comments — for someone who decries everything is so-called “racist” and that white people are out to destroy the world.

In 2007, then-Sen. Biden said this about then-Sen. Barack Obama: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. RFK Jr.’s Unorthodox Presidential Bid Exposes America’s Deep Dissatisfaction With Biden

Robert Kennedy Jr., the unconventional Democrat siphoning double-digit Democratic support away from President Biden ahead of the 2024 election, won’t rule out building a wall along the southern border if it means stopping the flow of illegal immigrants that have poured into the U.S. on Mr. Biden’s watch.

And unlike Mr. Biden and much of the Democratic Party, Mr. Kennedy doesn’t believe in the government forcing an end to fossil fuels or banning guns to stop the epidemic of mass shootings.

The 69-year-old environmental lawyer and anti-vaccination advocate defines himself as a “traditional Kennedy Democrat,” but his policies resonate with a much broader array of voters, including Republicans, and in particular, the expanding swath of people who identify as independents.

Among Democratic voters, Mr. Kennedy siphoned away 19% of the vote from Mr. Biden in a recent Fox News poll.

“I think there are a lot of Americans who believe the Republican and Democratic Parties no longer represent their aspirations and visions and interests,” Mr. Kennedy said in an interview with The Washington Times. Biden Heads to Beach After Shattering All-Time Record With 83,000 Illegal Aliens Storming Border in 1 Week

President Joe Biden will reportedly spend his weekend at his beach home in Delaware — which is guarded by a taxpayer-funded wall — after forcing immigration officials to work on weekends to deal with the illegal immigration crisis that his policies have caused.

The crisis on southern border has erupted into a full-blown humanitarian and national security crisis as more illegal aliens stormed the southern border this week than any other week in U.S. history.

“Border Patrol reports a record setting 83,000 migrants crossed our border illegally this week alone. Just to put that number in perspective for you, that is equivalent to a full capacity Dallas Cowboys football stadium crossing our border in a single week,” Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during Friday’s press conference that the 80-year-old president will enjoy a leisurely weekend at his beach home.

Biden’s Latest Effort to Make Everything You Need More Expensive

The Supreme Court saved consumers billions of dollars from higher prices when, less than a year ago, it struck down the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan rule, which would have shut down hundreds of coal and gas power plants nationwide.

Now, under President Joe Biden’s direction, the EPA is back with a new regulatory scheme designed to accomplish the same result through more direct means. The end result should be the same. The Supreme Court will again strike down Biden’s illegal usurpation of congressional power, saving consumers billions of dollars in higher energy costs.

The last time the EPA tried to shut down coal and gas power plants, it used the 1970 Clean Air Act to establish an industrywide carbon cap-and-trade system for electricity production. This Clean Power Plan did not identify how specific power plants should cut carbon emissions, but the plan required them to do so and created a market for them to offset emissions by investing in clean power or buying carbon emission allowances. The scheme closely resembled a cap-and-trade plan that Congress had just rejected. Seven years later, in West Virginia v. EPA, the court invalidated the CPP, holding that the Clean Air Act was not intended to create an industrywide cap-and-trade regime for any one pollutant and that the EPA was exceeding its statutory authority by creating one for carbon.

This time, the EPA has abandoned its cap-and-trade approach and is instead following more closely to the original design of the Clean Air Act. Under this, the EPA may identify a “best system of emission reduction” for a pollutant and then force power plants to adopt it. This usually means installing a proven pollution control technology. FBI Refuses to Give Congress Informant File Alleging Biden Took Bribes as Vice President

The FBI has refused to give Congress an informant file alleging that President Biden took bribes while he was vice president, The Post has learned — setting up a possible showdown over access to the information.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) issued a legally binding subpoena last week requiring the FBI to turn over the file by noon Wednesday, but the bureau instead replied with a six-page letter raising various objections.

“Information from confidential human sources is unverified and, by definition, incomplete,” wrote FBI acting assistant director for congressional affairs Christopher Dunham, who also argued that informant reports must also be kept private to protect sources.

“As is clear from the name itself, confidentiality is definitional to the FBI’s Confidential Human Source program,” Dunham wrote. “Confidential human sources often provide information to the FBI at great risk to themselves and their loved ones. Hunter’s Chinese Business Partner ‘Attempted to Hide’ Payment From China-Based Firm to Biden Family, Report Says

Hunter Biden’s Chinese business partner attempted to conceal a large foreign payment to the Biden family through a complex laundering scheme, a House Oversight Committee memo alleged Wednesday.

Gongwen “Kevin” Dong, Hunter Biden’s business partner, facilitated the transfer of $100,000 to Biden’s company through an intricate web of limited liability companies in an attempt to hide their original China-based source, a company called Shanghai Huaxin Group, the memo alleged, citing business and financial records. In total, the Biden family received more than $10 million in payments from companies controlled by foreign nationals, the memo states.

In May 2017, Dong created a limited liability company in Delaware called CEFC Infrastructure, to which the “sole equity member” was a company called Hudson West V, where Dong served as the “director,” the memo states.

A week after CEFC Infrastructure’s formation, Hudson West V then “assigned 100 percent of its interest” to a company incorporated in China called Shanghai Huaxin Group, which, in turn, deposited $10 million into CEFC Infrastructure’s bank account, according to the memo.
