Biden Bristles at Reporters Over Debt Ceiling Questions: ‘You’re Not in the Real World’

President Biden bristled when questioned Monday about the high-stakes debt ceiling vote expected later this week — refusing to tell reporters how he might persuade skeptics in his own party while saying the press doesn’t “live in the real world.”

The House is set to vote on the debt-ceiling deal Wednesday after Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) reached a deal Saturday. A 99-page bill outlining the details of the agreement was released Sunday, prompting pushback from some lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.

“I’m not going to tell you,” Biden, 80, snapped at a reporter when asked on the White House lawn Monday what he would say to Democrat skeptics.

“Look, you guys all go on and say, ‘Tell them what a good deal this is’ — how about, ‘this was a 100% deal for Democrats!’ Do you think it’d help me get it passed?” he sneered.

When another reporter asked if the legislation would pass “no question” by June 5, the commander-in-chief also lashed out.

Top Progressive Slams Debt Ceiling Bill as ‘Absolutely Terrible’

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) denounced the provisional debt ceiling deal struck between House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and President Joe Biden, describing it as, “absolutely terrible policy.”

The Progressive Caucus Chair appeared on CNN to express her opposition to the tentative debt ceiling compromise.

Particularly, Jayapal took issue with the inclusion of some work requirements for SNAP benefits, which she said would affect poor people. Though she said that she hadn’t yet read the full text of the bill and isn’t able to determine if the work requirements are a deal-breaker, she criticized Republicans’ handling of negotiations.

“First of all, let me say, terrible policy,” Jayapal said. “Absolutely terrible policy; does not reduce spending, actually, by some estimates, creates a burden on administrative spending that is actually worse for, you know, for the overall cost of a program like that. Number two, it is about people who are hungry, people who just need a little bit of temporary assistance…and we are one of the only countries in the world, if not the only country in the world, that is an industrialized country that puts any requirements on people who just want food. Joe Biden Falsely Claims to Have Four Granddaughters, Ignoring Hunter’s Illegitimate Child

President Joe Biden falsely stated he has four granddaughters on Friday, leaving off his fifth, 4-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, the illegitimate daughter of Hunter Biden.

The president has repeatedly failed and refused to recognize Navy Joan as part of the Biden family, despite a court-ordered paternity test proving Hunter to be the child’s father in 2019. The latest lapse happened during comments the president made while hosting the 2023 Louisiana State University women’s national championship basketball team at the White House.

“The way in which women’s sports has come along is just incredible. And it’s not just in sports, it’s across the board in every single thing,” Biden said. “It’s really neat to see since I’ve got four granddaughters.”

Biden did not name his grandchildren on this occasion, but he has in the past left Navy Joan out of the Biden family lineup. During a “take your child to work day” event at the White House in April, Biden claimed and named six grandchildren, leaving off Navy Joan.

“The best part of it all, I have six grandchildren, and I’m crazy about them. I speak to them every single day,” Biden said. “Not a joke,” he added before going on to name six, never mentioning his 4-year-old grandchild living in Arkansas. Poll: Most Voters Believe Joe Biden Engaged in ‘Illegal Influence Peddling Scheme’ With Hunter

Most registered voters think President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden partook “in an illegal influence peddling scheme while he was Vice President,” according to a Harvard/Harris poll.

The poll, conducted between May 17-18, asked participants, “From what you know, do you think Hunter Biden was involved in illegal influence peddling and tax evasion, or do you think he was not involved in such crimes?”

Of the registered voter respondents, 63 percent, including 83 percent of Republicans and 65 percent of voters outside of the two major parties, believe Hunter Biden “was involved in illegal influence.” More than four in ten Democrats believe the same.

A majority of 53 percent of respondents say that President Biden engaged “in an illegal influence peddling scheme” with his son when he served as vice president. This included most Republicans (79 percent) and independents (58 percent), while a majority of 75 percent of Democrats think the opposite.

Moreover, 55 percent of all participants say that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is “not really fully investigating” Hunter Biden’s laptop or “foreign business dealings,” including most Republicans and third-party and unaffiliated voters, while 66 percent of Democrats think the agency is “fully investigating” the device. Biden HHS Offers Grants for LGBT Youth Counseling to Encourage ‘Family Acceptance’

President Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is offering up to $1.7 million in grants to groups promoting “acceptance” of LGBT youths through counseling and family via the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

The program is meant to promote family acceptance of gay and transgender youth in order to prevent health and behavioral risks that are a particular concern for LGBT youth including suicide, depression, homelessness, drug use and HIV, according to SAMHSA. Grant recipients can receive up to $425,000 for programs that help “reduce rejection” of LGBT youth by their families and caregivers and increase family acceptance by connecting them to counseling services.

“Research has shown that LGBTQI+ youth are at greater risk for poor behavioral health outcomes than their cisgender, heterosexual counterparts… Discrimination, peer victimization, and family rejection also contribute to poor mental health amongst this population,” the grant website reads. “Thus, the LGBTQI+ Family Support program aims to reduce rejection and increase family/caregiver acceptance to improve the behavioral health of LGBTQI+ youth.” (Read more from “Biden HHS Offers Grants for LGBT Youth Counseling to Encourage ‘Family Acceptance’” HERE)

Biden Accuses Republicans of Sabotaging Debt Limit to Get Him Out of Office

President Joe Biden claimed Sunday some Republicans are willing to allow the U.S. to default on its debt for the first time to prevent him from winning another presidential term.

If the economy does default, Biden argued he would be “blameless,” and called for Republicans to move their positions.

“On the merits, based on what I’ve offered, I would be blameless,” Biden responded to a question from Fox’s Peter Doocy. “On the politics of it, no one would be blameless. And by the way, that’s one of the — one of the things that some are contemplating.”

“I think there are some MAGA Republicans in the House who know the damage that it would do to the economy and because I am president — and presidents are responsible for everything — Biden would take the blame. President Joe Biden’s critics called out the world leader for telling a reporter to “shush up” while he was meeting with the Australian prime minister at the latest G-7 summit in Japan.

Annoyed Twitter users slammed Biden as condescending for the command, with some pointing out that if former President Donald Trump had done that to an overzealous member of the press, he wouldn’t have heard the end of it from his usual critics.

The brief but tense moment happened while Biden was speaking with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese this weekend at the G-7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan.

The first reporter asked, “Mr. President, how concerned are you about the debt talks at home?” Initially, Biden appeared cordial, gently replying, “Not at all.” In response to a follow-up on the topic, Biden claimed, “This goes in stages. I’ve been in these negotiations before.” . . .

New Poll Revealing Biden’s Approval Rating Leaves Leftist Host Stunned: ‘Lowest for Any American President’

A new poll revealing President Joe Biden’s shocking low approval numbers leaves CNN in disbelief— causing the liberal network to admit the Democratic Party is in trouble. . .

“In the first real snapshot, if you will, of President Biden’s standing since his reelection announcement, voters are saying he has real work to do,” CNN host Kate Bolduan said. “And that’s even among his own party.”

The poll found that 58 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents say they want their party to nominate someone else.

In addition, Biden’s approval rating remains at a historic low of 36 percent.

“Biden’s overall approval rating remains underwater,” Bolduan added. “That’s the lowest for any American president at this point in their first term. Biden Claims Credit for ‘Quad’ Alliance Trump Reinstated in 2017

President Joe Biden may have been thousands miles away from the United States over the weekend, but that didn’t stop him from engaging in his usual embellishment of reality (read: lies) about his supposedly masterful leadership and adults-in-charge diplomacy. . .

Here’s what Biden said about the Quad:

“What’s going on now is, look at the meeting we had here today and yesterday of the Quad. I bet you, I would- maybe some of you thought it, but I doubt many people in this audience or any other audience would have said that two years after being elected I’d be able to convince India, Australia, Japan, and the United States to form an organization called the Quad to maintain stability in the Indian Ocean and the South China Sea.”

But, as usual, Biden is wrong. He did not convince any of those countries to “form” the alliance. The Quad was first created after the late Shinzo Abe, then-Prime Minister of Japan, initiated an alliance with the prime ministers of India and Australia along with then-Vice President Dick Cheney in 2007. Clear and President Danger: Biden Nearly Tumbles Down Stairs, Looks Confused at G7 Summit (VIDEO)

A confused-looking President Biden had to be gently guided by Japanese leader Fumio Kishida on Friday — before tripping and almost falling down some stairs.

The oldest-ever US president looked confused as first lady Jill Biden led him by the hand to meet his Japanese counterpart and his wife for a photo op in Hiroshima ahead of the Group of Seven summit there.

After shaking Kishida’s hand, Biden, 80, turned his attention to the prime minister’s 58-year-old wife, Fumio Kishida — bizarrely bending over with clenched fists, as if in a boxer’s pose, before also shaking her hand.

Kishida, 65, then began leading the US dignitaries to prearranged spots to pose for photos — eventually jumping in to politely guide Biden to his place as the president shuffled slowly over and looked at the ground in clear confusion as to where he was supposed to stand.
