Treasury Official Set to Testify on Biden Family’s ‘Suspicious’ Wire Transfers Previously Worked for Joe Biden

Treasury Department official Jonathan Davidson, who is set to testify this week about the agency withholding the Biden family’s “suspicious” bank records, worked as the Biden-Harris Transition’s Economic Nominations Confirmation team lead in 2020 and was nominated to the position at the Treasury by President Joe Biden, raising questions of whether his testimony will be tainted with political bias.

On Friday, Davidson is scheduled to appear before the House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) and answer questions about why the Treasury has refused to provide the committee with James and Hunter Biden’s 150 suspicious activity reports (SARs) generated by U.S. banks. SARs often contain evidence of potential criminal activities, such as money laundering and fraud. The disclosure would greatly help Comer investigate the Biden family, along with Eric Schwerin, for nine violations, including wire fraud and money laundering.

Considering Davidson will be asked to speak to the Biden family’s SARs after working for Joe Biden, his partisan work history raises questions of whether his scheduled testimony will be tainted with political bias.

Davidson has been a well-connected, partisan political operative for decades. In 2020, he worked for Biden’s transition team as the team lead of economic nominations confirmation. He was then nominated by Joe Biden and confirmed in November 2021 by the Senate as assistant secretary for legislative affairs at the Treasury. Biden’s First Official 2024 Primary Challenger Is a Meditating Hippy Who Preaches the ‘Politics of Love’

Self-help author Marianne Williamson officially declared her 2024 presidential run against President Joe Biden, vowing to fight “forces of hatred, injustice, and fear.”

“I, as of today, am a candidate for the office of president of the United States. Williamson said at her campaign kickoff event at Washington D.C.’s Union Station. “The status quo will not disrupt itself… that’s our job.”

Williamson, who unsuccessfully ran for president in 2020, is taking another shot at the White House, being the first Democrat to primary challenge Biden.

“We know that this country is plagued by many challenges now, not the least of which is hatred and division, which is greater than any of us have experienced national life. It is our job to create a vision of justice and love that is so powerful that it will override the forces of hatred and injustice and fear,” the Democrat continued.

Williamson was a one-time spiritual advisor to Oprah Winfrey and views the current state of America as a country with “broken windows” filled with poverty and despair, adding that “half the people in this city don’t even notice [despair].” (Read more from “Biden’s First Official 2024 Primary Challenger Is a Meditating Hippy Who Preaches the ‘Politics of Love’” HERE)

‘Ridiculous’: Jill Biden suggests Joe will never take competency test

First lady Jill Biden on Sunday said it was “ridiculous’’ to consider GOP presidential hopeful Nikki Haley’s call to mandate mental competency tests for pols over 75, suggesting President Biden would never take one.

Jill Biden said she and her husband — who at age 80 is the oldest commander in chief in US history and would be 82 at his inauguration if reelected — would “never even discuss something like that.

“Ridiculous,” Jill Biden responded when asked about Haley’s idea in a snippet of an interview that aired Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Jill Biden — whose full interview will air at 9 p.m. Monday — pointed to the president’s surprise trip last month to Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky to mark the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion as proof of the commander-in-chief’s stamina.

“How many 30-year-olds could travel to Poland, get on the train? Go nine more hours, go to Ukraine, meet with President Zelensky?” she said. “So, look at the man. Look what he’s doing. Look what he continues to do each and every day.” (Read more from “‘Ridiculous’: Jill Biden suggests Joe will never take competency test” HERE)

Sen. Dan Sullivan: White House Should Send F-16S to Ukraine Now

Senior Defense Department officials were leaning toward supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets until President Biden quashed the idea this year, Sen. Dan Sullivan said Sunday.

The Alaska Republican sent a letter about Ukraine’s urgent need for fighter jets to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Army Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, after hosting a delegation of Ukrainian pilots last summer on Capitol Hill.

“It looked like it was moving well through the bureaucracy of the Pentagon,” Mr. Sullivan said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”

But that momentum came to a grinding halt in January after Mr. Biden responded with a terse “no” to a reporter’s question about providing Kyiv with fighter jets.

“And then, last week the national security adviser [Jake Sullivan] says, ‘Well, we’re not going to do F-16s for now,’” said Mr. Sullivan, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee. “That’s exactly the wrong approach.” (Read more from “Sen. Biden Vows New Election Laws in ‘Bloody Sunday’ Speech, Accuses GOP of Assault on Voting Rights

President Biden on Sunday recommitted his pledge to implement long-stalled Democratic plans to overhaul election laws when he commemorated the 58th anniversary of the Bloody Sunday civil rights march.

Speaking with a backdrop of the infamous Edmund Pettus Bridge, where civil rights activists were beaten by police in a 1965 march for voting rights, Mr. Biden delivered a clear signal he will seek a second term in the White House and is depending on Black voters to deliver the win.

Although he has yet to make an official reelection announcement, Mr. Biden sought to shore up the crucial Black vote by demonstrating he’s not giving up on legislation Democrats say would expand voting access. He also accused Republicans of seeking to roll back voting rights.

“The right to vote and to have your vote counted is the threshold of democracy and liberty. With it, anything’s possible. Without that right, nothing is possible and this fundamental right remains under assault,” Mr. Biden said. “The conservative Supreme Court has gutted the Voting Rights Act over the years. Since the 2020 election, a wave of states and dozens — dozens — of anti-voting laws fueled by the ‘big lie’ and the election deniers now elected to office.”

Mr. Biden pushed several Democratic-led bills that died in the last Congress. Critics say the legislation would nationalize U.S. elections and impose rules designed to boost Democratic candidates. Joe Biden to Fight for Tax Hikes in 2024 Budget: ‘I’m Gonna Raise Some Taxes’

President Joe Biden will fight to force taxpayers to pay even more corporate taxes in next week’s 2024 proposed budget, which is likely to impact both large and small businesses.

Although the business term “corporation” is widely associated with large companies like Chevron, Berkshire Hathaway, and McDonald’s, C-corporations can be both large and small businesses.

According to the Small Business Administration (SBA), 31.7 million small businesses exist in the United States. Eighty-one percent, or 25.7 million, have no employees (run and operated by a single person) and 19 percent, or 6 million, have paid employees.

The SBA also estimates that small businesses account for 65.1 percent (10.5 million) of net new job created from 2000 to 2019 and comprise 99.7 percent of firms with paid employees.

In mid-March, Biden will issue a proposed budget to Congress that will likely include tax increases on small businesses, intended to reduce the deficit from massive government overspending. (Read more from “Joe Biden to Fight for Tax Hikes in 2024 Budget: ‘I’m Gonna Raise Some Taxes’” HERE)

President’s Physician Says Biden Had ‘Cancerous Tissue’ Removed Last Month

In mid-February, Townhall reported on President Biden’s delayed annual physical. The president’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, said at the time that “Biden remains a healthy, vigorous, 80-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief.”

O’Connor also said in his evaluation that the president continued to undergo skin cancer surveillance after previously having “several localized, non-melanoma skin cancers removed with Mohs surgery before he started his presidency,” and noted “several small areas of actinic change on his face and head were treated with liquid nitrogen cryotherapy” while “one small lesion on the President’s chest was excised today and sent for traditional biopsy.”

On Friday afternoon, the White House released an update following the biopsy from Biden’s doctor: “As expected, the biopsy confirmed that the small lesion was basal cell carcinoma,” O’Connor reported. “All cancerous tissue was successfully removed,” he continued. “The area around the biopsy site was treated presumptively with electrodessication and curettage at the time of biopsy. No further treatment is required,” Biden’s physician concluded.

Jim Jordan Wants to Know Why DOJ Hasn’t Appointed a Special Counsel for Hunter Biden

While U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed special counsels to probe the handling of classified documents by President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, he has not appointed one to handle investigations of Hunter Biden — and that has House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) curious.

So, to get some answers with his power as chairman of the powerful Judiciary Committee, Jordan sent a letter to AG Garland on Tuesday looking to get his hands on some documents to better understand the situation and conduct oversight of Biden’s Department of Justice.

“The Department’s investigation of Hunter Biden, son of President Biden, raises the appearance of a conflict of interest that would necessitate special counsel protections and authorities,” Chairman Jordan notes in his letter to Garland. “However, to date, you have declined to appoint a special counsel in this matter, despite appointing special counsels in other investigations.”

As noted, there’s a special counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s sticky fingers when it came to classified documents from his time as vice president and a U.S. senator — so why not a special counsel to investigate his son?

‘Most Racist President… Since LBJ’: Biden Slammed Over ‘White Boy’ Remark During Event Marking Black History Month

President Joe Biden faced a wave of backlash over what was deemed a “racist” comment of his implying that white men are unintelligent, after stating, “I may be a white boy, but I’m not stupid,” at a reception honoring African Americans throughout the country’s history.

During a White House reception marking Black History Month on Monday, President Biden stated that “black history matters” after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reportedly rejected a high school Advance Placement course for African American studies following his “Stop Woke Act,” which aims to ban Critical Race Theory (CRT) in the state’s public schools.

“It’s important to say from the White House for the entire country to hear: history matters. History matters and black history matters,” he said to the roughly 400 people in attendance. “I can’t just choose to learn what we want to know. We learn what we should know. We have to learn everything, the good, the bad, the truth, and who we are as a nation.”

“That’s what great nations do,” he added.

In response, many took to social media to slam the “racist” remarks.

Biden Says ‘I May Be a White Boy, but I’m Not Stupid’ at Black History Month Event

President Biden told a White House audience “I may be a white boy, but I’m not stupid” in a cringeworthy attempt at self-deprecating humor during an event celebrating Black History Month.

The 80-year-old president made the bizarre remark moments after joking that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who is black, no longer talks to him.

“I may be a white boy, but I’m not stupid. I know where the power is … you think I’m joking. I learned a long time ago about the Divine Nine,” Biden said, referring to a group of African-American sororities.

Jeffries “is here in spite of the fact that when he ran the first time I campaigned for him,” the president added before shouting out Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Steven Horsford (D-Nev.).

“I campaigned for him too. You know what this means is, they don’t talk to me any more,” Biden said. “I’m only kidding.” (Read more from “Biden Says ‘I May Be a White Boy, but I’m Not Stupid’ at Black History Month Event” HERE)
