President Trump Won’t Attend Biden’s Inauguration

President Trump announced Friday morning he will not attend the inauguration of Joe Biden.

“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th,” he wrote on Friday.

In a video message posted Thursday evening on Twitter, Trump vowed to assist in an orderly transition to a Biden administration, condemned “the heinous attack” on the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday and promised his supporters that “our incredible journey is only just beginning.”

Just prior to announcing he won’t attend the inauguration, he tweeted Friday that the 75 million who voted for him “will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!”

Trump will be the fourth president to not attend his successor’s inauguration and the first since 1869. Presidents John Adams, John Quincy Adams and Andrew Johnson were the others. (Read more from “President Trump Won’t Attend Biden’s Inauguration” HERE)

Senate and House Reject Pro-Trump Challenge to Arizona Election Results; GOP Senators Reverse Course, Drop Objection to Biden Electors

By The Blaze. Congress voted to reject a challenge to electoral results in Arizona in defiance of the chaos from the rioting by pro-Trump protesters who were trying to stop the vote that would secure Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States.

The debate over the slate of electors from Arizona was interrupted when Trump supporters stormed Congress and overran several buildings. Lawmakers were taken to secure areas while law enforcement officials tried to regain control.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) later excoriated the rioters and announced that she had consulted with Vice President Mike Pence, among others, to reconvene Congress and proceed with the vote.

Law enforcement officials, including the Capitol Police and the FBI, cleared out the Capitol building and lawmakers filed back in to continue their debate over the results of the presidential election.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) used his time to blame the president for the rioting. (Read more from “Senate and House Reject Pro-Trump Challenge to Arizona Election Results” HERE)

GOP Senators Reverse Course, Drop Objection to Biden Electors

By The Blaze. Republican Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler abandoned her plans to contest the certification of some Electoral College votes for President-Elect Joe Biden on Wednesday night, citing the “siege” on the Capitol building by supporters of President Donald Trump ahead of Congress’ count.

But Loeffler was not alone. The unrest, which included the Senate chamber being breached and left one person fatally shot, caused more than one Republican member to change their minds on challenging the results of the election. . .

Loeffler vowed Monday during a rally that Trump attended to contest the election results. She said in a separate statement that she would issue her own challenge outside of a coalition of 11 other Republicans organized by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. On Tuesday, Loeffler lost her re-election bid to Democratic challenger Rev. Raphael Warnock. . .

At least 14 Republicans went on the record ahead of Wednesday saying that they would contest the Electoral College results in Congress, but a number of them reversed course along with Loeffler. According to The Washington Post, Sens. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) and James Lankford (R-Okla.) also stood down after previously vowing to join the challenge.

So did steadfast Trump supporter Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), who declared on Twitter that she would “vote in support of certifying the electoral college results” after being a part of Cruz’s original coalition. Military to Get Involved in Election Fight? Living Defense Secretaries Say No

With Inauguration Day rapidly approaching on Jan. 20, all 10 of America’s living former defense secretaries are taking a stand regarding any potential involvement of U.S. military forces in determining the final outcome of the presidential race. And they’re all urging against joining the fight.

“Each of us swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. We did not swear it to an individual or a party,” wrote Mark Esper, James Mattis, Ash Carter, Chuck Hagel, Leon Panetta, Dick Cheney, William Cohen, Robert Gates, William Perry and Donald Rumsfeld in a joint op-ed published Sunday in the Washington Post.

“Efforts to involve the U.S. armed forces in resolving election disputes would take us into dangerous, unlawful and unconstitutional territory,” they stated.

“Civilian and military officials who direct or carry out such measures would be accountable, including potentially facing criminal penalties, for the grave consequences of their actions on our republic.” . . .

“Our elections have occurred. Recounts and audits have been conducted. Appropriate challenges have been addressed by the courts. Governors have certified the results. And the electoral college has voted. The time for questioning the results has passed; the time for the formal counting of the electoral college votes, as prescribed in the Constitution and statute, has arrived.” (Read more from “Military to Get Involved in Election Fight? WATCH: Joe Biden Estimated 250,000 COVID Deaths This Month. He Was off by 178,000

President-elect Joe Biden spiked coronavirus hysteria early this month, warning Americans the nation would suffer 250,000 additional deaths from the novel Wuhan coronavirus by the end of the year. . .

At that point, The Atlantic’s COVID Tracking Project reported nearly 262,000 Americans had succumbed to the virus, making Biden’s prediction a near doubling of the nation’s nine-month death toll within a 30-day period. According to the latest data from the COVID Tracking Project, however, the U.S. death toll stands at nearly 334,000, meaning Biden was off by about 178,000 with 72,000 deaths in December. Expert: Biden’s Immigration Scheme Will Give Millions Amnesty (VIDEO)

Todd Bensman, a senior national security fellow at the immigration-skeptical Center for Immigration Studies, spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Samantha Renck about the implications of the Biden administration’s immigration policies, a possible influx of migrants at the southern border and more.

President-elect Joe Biden recently said he and his administration will “clean up the humanitarian disaster that the Trump administration has systematically created on our southern border.”

“Well, his characterization of a humanitarian crisis at the border created by Trump is just flat wrong,” Bensman said. “There is no such humanitarian crisis. Not now.”

“There was in 2018, 2019,” he said. “But as a result of a series of policy innovations that Trump put into place right around the summer of 2019, we were able to as a nation, the Homeland Security enterprise, reduced the number of Central Americans coming in over the border from about 120,000-140,000 a month to about 20,000 a month, 30,000 a month.”

Biden Pick for Top Pentagon Post Pushed ‘Trump-Russia Collusion’

Colin Kahl, who President-elect Joe Biden announced Wednesday will serve in a top Pentagon position, pushed the now-debunked conspiracy theory that the Trump campaign conspired with the Kremlin to influence the 2016 election.

Kahl endorsed the collusion theory in a December 2017 essay for Foreign Policy and also boosted the now-debunked Steele dossier in posts on Twitter.

“The circumstantial evidence suggesting that the Trump campaign collaborated with the Kremlin to get now-President Donald Trump elected continues to mount,” Kahl, who was a national security adviser for Biden when he served as vice president, wrote in the Foreign Policy essay.

“But even if it turns out that there was no direct ‘collusion’ to shape the 2016 election, what we have learned so far — including most recently from retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s guilty plea this past week — is incredibly troubling.”

Kahl, who has served as national security adviser to Biden when he was vice president, held open the possibility that the Trump team did not directly collude with Russia, but he asserted that “the evidence is now irrefutable” that Trump, his associates and top Republicans “broadly conspired to give Moscow a pass despite (or perhaps because of) Russia’s attack on our democracy.” (Read more from “Biden Pick for Top Pentagon Post Pushed ‘Trump-Russia Collusion'” HERE)

Walmart Bashes U.S. Senator Challenging Election, Then Hits Panic Button

Walmart took a direct shot at U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., after he confirmed on Wednesday that he would challenge, in a joint session of Congress, Joe Biden’s apparent Electoral College win.

By calling him a “soreloser.”

But it quickly, very quickly, backtracked after his response, which asked the company to apologize for using slave labor, or at least for the “pathetic” wages the megacorporation pays workers “as you drive mom and pop stores out of business.”

It started when Hawley said he would raise objections next month when, during a joint session of Congress, members are supposed to adopt the Electoral College vote total described by the media as giving 306 votes to Biden, and 232 to President Trump.

His objections, and those of several members of the U.S. House, are based on evidence of vote fraud and election manipulation that has appeared in multiple swing states. (Read more from “Walmart Bashes U.S. Senator Challenging Election, Then Hits Panic Button” HERE)

Biden Plans Decriminalization of HIV Transmission

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s plan to “advance LGBTQ equality” includes a promise to decriminalize HIV exposure and transmission laws.

“In 2018, 26 states in America had HIV exposure criminal laws,” President-elect Biden’s plan reads under the subhead, “Decriminalize HIV exposure and transmission laws.”

“These laws perpetuate discrimination and stigma towards people with HIV/AIDS, and there is simply no ‘scientific basis’ for them,” the plan continues. “As President, Biden will support legislation like the REPEAL HIV Discrimination Act, which promotes best practice recommendations for states.”

The REPEAL HIV Discrimination Act directs the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Department of Defense (DOD) to conduct a review of laws, policies, regulations, and judicial precedents and decisions dealing with HIV and persons living with the virus.

The results of this review would be made public under this legislation and then the DOJ and HHS would create guidance and “an integrated monitoring and evaluation system to measure state progress.”
