WATCH: Biden Makes Eyebrow-Raising Comments to Young Girls at Campaign Stop

By New York Post. Joe Biden’s wife had to pull the Democratic presidential nominee away from reporters on the campaign trail to maintain social distancing, but that didn’t prevent one of his signature eyebrow-raising comments at an event later in the afternoon. . .

After their flight, the Bidens arrived in Miami, Fla., where they visited Little Haiti Cultural Center.

While there, he watched a performance by a group of school-age children before delivering remarks about how Hispanics would be supported under a Biden administration.

During his remarks, he had an awkward moment when he told the group of girls that he planned to come back and see them dance again, once they were “four years older.”

“The good news is, for me, I’m here. The bad news, for you, is I’m coming back,” he said. “I’m coming back, I’m coming back. And I want to see these beautiful young ladies, I want to see them dancing when they’re four years older, too,” he quipped to the crowd. WATCH: Comment About Black Woman, Quarantine Lands Biden in Hot Water

Joe Biden has landed in hot water over a viral clip of him suggesting why people were able to quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic.

“They’re saying, ‘Jeez, the reason I was able to stay sequestered in my home is because some Black woman was able to stack the grocery shelf,'” Biden is heard saying in the clip.

The 10-second clip, which was originally shared on Sept. 29, was just a snippet of comments the Democratic nominee made during a Sept. 15 roundtable with veterans in Tampa, Fla.

In the expanded remarks, Biden had expressed a positive tone in dealing with the problems the country faces, particularly the ones that stem from the coronavirus outbreak. He said that he’s “more optimistic … than I’ve ever been in my whole career.”

“And they say, ‘Well, why in the hell would you say that Biden? You just talked about all these difficulties.’ Well, I’ll tell you why. Because the American public, the blinders have been taken off,” Biden told the roundtable attendees. “They’ve all of a sudden seen a hell of a lot clearer. They’re saying, ‘Jeeze, the reason I was able to stay sequestered in my home is because some Black woman was able to stack the grocery shelf. Or a young Hispanic is out there, these dreamers are out there, 60,000 of them acting as first responders and nurses and docs.’ Or all of a sudden people are realizing, ‘My Lord, these people have done so much. Not just Black, White, across the board, have done so much for me. We can do this. We can get things done.’ And I think they’re ready.”

Biden’s New COVID Claim: ‘210 Million’ People Have Died (VIDEO)

Joe Biden again misstated the number of people who have died from coronavirus during a televised town hall meeting on Monday before he quickly corrected himself.

During the event with NBC News in Florida, Biden said, “Masks matter. These masks, they matter. It matters. It saves lives. It prevents the spread of the disease— 210 million— 210,000 people have died,” quickly correcting himself.

“You have, you know, about 1,000 people a day getting the coronavirus. Fifty thousand, I mean— so it’s a great concern,” he said.

In September, Biden claimed “200 million” Americans had died from the virus.

U.S. Treasury Evidence Refutes Biden’s Debate Claim About Son’s Deals

Evidence presented recently by two Senate committees contradicts Joe Biden’s insistence during the presidential debate last week that the claim his son Hunter received $3.5 million from a Russian oligarch has been discredited. . .

Just the News, however, cited evidence compiled by the Senate Finance and Homeland Security committees from the FBI and the Treasury Department in a report released Sept. 23.

The Treasury Department turned over to the Senate investigators Suspicious Activity Reports that linked Hunter Biden to Elena Baturina, a billionaire and the wife of the former mayor of Moscow.

On Feb. 14, 2014, Baturina wired $3.5 million to a Rosemont Seneca Thornton LLC bank account for a ‘Consultancy Agreement DD12.02.2014.”

Rosemont Seneca Thornton is an investment firm co-founded by Hunter Biden that was incorporated on May 28, 2013, in Wilmington, Delaware. The younger Biden started the company with partner Devon Archer, a former Senate chief of staff to John Kerry. WATCH: Joe Biden Tells His Tens of Followers About His Trump ‘Death Blow’ Fantasy

. . .Apparently, Joe Biden decided to elaborate to his tens of followers about Trump being delivered a “death blow” as he battles his infection. You know, maybe Joe misspoke, maybe he didn’t. the two men obviously do not have a lot of love for one another, but Sean Davis of the Federalist aptly noted that this little stump bit was “disgusting” to say the least. The good news is that Trump won’t wither like Mitt Romney. He’ll fight back. His team is already on this—and they’ll deliver a nice counterpunch soon.

Biden Reveals Whether or Not He’s Showing up to the Next Debate

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will travel to Florida to participate in the next debate and hopes that President Trump will be able to join him despite the president testing positive for the novel coronavirus late last week.

Symone Sanders, a senior campaign adviser to Biden, said on Sunday that the former vice president is “looking forward” to the Oct. 15 town hall-style debate in Miami and that he is hoping Trump will be well enough to attend.

“We are looking forward to the debate on Oct. 15 in Miami,” Sanders said during an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “It’s a town hall and, as you know, Vice President Biden loves a good town hall.”

Sanders added: “And we are hoping President Trump can participate. We’re hoping that he’s medically able to participate, and that is up to his doctors to clear him. But Joe Biden will be at that debate.”

The future of the next presidential debate was thrown in jeopardy after the president revealed in the early morning hours last Friday that he and First Lady Melania Trump had contracted the coronavirus. Since Trump’s announcement numerous members of his White House inner circle and his reelection campaign have come down with the contagion. It Looks Like the Next Presidential Debate Moderator Hates Trump Even More Than the First; Trump Campaign Calls Out Second Debate Moderator

By Townhall. For those hoping the moderator at the second presidential debate will be less of a liberal hack than the first, we have some bad news for you. C-SPAN’s Steve Scully has been tapped to moderate the upcoming presidential debate and it’s very clear which candidate Scully wants to win.

Scully is clearly rooting for Joe Biden, a.k.a. his old boss, who Scully once interned for in the U.S. Senate. . .

Scully also retweeted this column by The New York Times’ David Brooks, in which the author argues that Donald Trump is basically the worst person in the entire world and should never be elected president of the United States.

Trump Campaign Calls Out Second Debate Moderator Who Interned for Biden, Worked for Ted Kennedy

By Fox News. resident Trump’s campaign is calling out C-SPAN anchor Steve Scully, who’s moderating the second presidential debate, for his ties to former Vice President Joe Biden.

Steve Scully, who serves as a host for C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal,” interned for Biden after coming to Washington, D.C. as a student, according to Marie Claire. He later worked as a staff assistant for the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., a Democratic icon who was honored at the party’s 2012 convention.

Trump campaign adviser Jason Miller tweeted in response: “Don’t forget to change before the debate, fellas!” . . .

At the beginning of September, Scully did an interview in which he committed to being fair “across the board.” He said his training as a backup moderator in 2016 helped him prepare for his role this election. Scully’s debate will be a townhall format at the Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, Florida.

“The town hall meeting is unique because it’s really more of a facilitator role, but to listen carefully, to follow up, to make sure that the president, that Joe Biden … follow the rules, that they don’t filibuster,” he said. “And my hope really is that we’re going to ask very direct questions, and we’re going to push for very direct answers, and to make sure it’s fair across the board.” (Read more from “Trump Campaign Calls Out Second Debate Moderator Who Interned for Biden, Worked for Ted Kennedy” HERE)

Nancy Pelosi: Joe Biden Should Skip the Next Debate (VIDEO)

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi weighed in on the presidential debates, following Tuesday’s chaotic contest between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, moderated by Fox News’ Chris Wallace. Speaker Pelosi said that Biden should not partake in other debates, and that Tuesday’s debate should be “one and done.”

“I myself did not think that Joe Biden should dignify debate with the president who has no commitment to fact, evidence, data, demeans the office he holds,” Speaker Pelosi said on Thursday

She previously questioned the purpose of presidential debates between President Trump and former Vice President Biden, claiming that President Trump would not tell the truth.

Biden’s Debate Comment About ‘Allah Willing’ May Not Have Been as Innocent as Some Claim

During the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, while the president was saying that he would release his tax returns once an ongoing IRS audit ends, Biden interrupted him by saying, “When—insha’allah?” . . .

For starters, why, in a purely American setting, would Biden suddenly resort to Arabic? It would have been one thing if he used this formulation before a Muslim audience—it would then be chalked up to diplomacy, pandering, etc.—but why use it when around Americans and during a distinctly American event such as a U.S. presidential debate?

Secondly, while insha’allah does literally mean “Allah willing,” and is regularly used to express modesty before the Supreme Being whenever Arabic speakers are discussing future events—as in, “Next year I plan on visiting the Arctic, insha’allah”—what very few non-native speakers of Arabic appreciate is that it is also used with great frequency by those who utter it to signal that they really have no intention of doing what they say they plan on doing, and by their listeners to express doubt or cynicism. . .

This interpretation may shed some light on a controversial thing Biden said in a video directed at Muslims in late July: “Hadith from the Prophet Muhammad instructs, ‘Whomever among you sees a wrong, let him change it with his hand. If he is not able, then with his tongue. If he is not able, then with his heart.’”

Amongst Muslims, this hadith, which is sahih, meaning deemed authentic/canonical by Sunni Muslims, concerns the enforcement of sharia, Islamic law (particularly in the context of the doctrine of al-amr bi’l ma’ruf w’al nahi ‘an al-munkir, “enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong”). Muslims are taught to enforce sharia (understood as the totality of all good things) any which way they can: ideally through their “hand” (physical force, or jihad); if that’s not possible, then through their “tongue” (words, ideas, propaganda); and if that too is not possible, then at least with their “heart” (their intention, niya).
