Tom Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), predicted a dire situation at the U.S.-Mexico border if former Vice President Joe Biden emerges victorious in the November elections in an interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
If Biden is elected president and follows through on many of the campaign promises he has made, there will be a return to “chaos” at the southern border, including more drugs smuggled to the United States, more rapes of migrant women and ultimately more deaths, Homan said.
“It’s going to be chaos,” the former ICE chief told the DCNF when asked about a possible Biden victory.
Homan pointed to the sharp reduction in illegal immigration in the past months under the Trump administration, a consequence, he said, that is directly attributable to the actions taken by the president.

Decades Old Larry King Clip Helps Substantiate Staffer’s Claim Against Biden
By Joseph Wulfsohn. A resurfaced clip of “Larry King Live” from 1993 appears to include the mother of Tara Reade — who has accused Joe Biden of past sexual assault while in the Senate — alluding to “problems” her daughter faced while working as a staffer for the then-U.S. senator from Delaware.
In a telephone interview with Fox News on Friday night, Reade confirmed that her mother called in to the show. Biden’s presidential campaign has adamantly denied Reade’s allegations but the video could be cited as evidence supporting Reade’s allegation – even though her late mother, in the clip, does not specifically refer to a sexual assault claim.
The Intercept on Friday first reported the transcript of a broadcast from Aug. 11, 1993, of a woman from San Luis Obispo County, Calif., calling in to the show about her daughter’s experience on Capitol Hill. (Read more from this story HERE)

Gun-control activist and Joe Biden surrogate Fred Guttenberg said the presumptive Democratic nominee would shut down gun stores in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
Guttenberg told the audience at a virtual town hall Monday that Trump was killing Americans by allowing gun stores to remain open, pointing to federal guidelines that labeled gun businesses “essential.”
“This decision by this administration is going to lead to additional people dying in this country,” Guttenberg said. “Joe Biden would not have called these essential businesses in the middle of a pandemic. It’s that simple. And so shame on the politicians who allowed this to happen. Shame on the businesses who are using this pandemic as a business sales opportunity.”
Guns and their availability during the pandemic have been a point of contention in the 2020 presidential race. Biden accused his former rival, socialist Vermont senator Bernie Sanders, of being responsible for “150 million” gun deaths because of a decade-old vote on manufacturer liability. Guttenberg similarly said the blame would be on Trump for additional deaths stemming from gun sales, calling gun stores’ continued operations “the height of irresponsibility.”

Norwegian psychiatrist Fred Heggen claims that Joe Biden is suffering from “dementia” and that his condition has worsened “at galloping speed.”
In an opinion piece published by Nettavisen entitled ‘Why Democrats are rallying behind a possibly demented candidate?’, Heggen, who is also a medical director at the Lovisenberg Diaconal Hospital’s psychiatric clinic in Oslo, says the presidential candidate is suffering from obvious cognitive failure.
“Of course I may still judge him wrongly, but in my eyes he appears as a person who is already very affected by dementia. And the presidential election is still far ahead. What if his condition worsens further over the next two-three months?” Heggen asked.
The psychiatrist asserts that Biden’s behavior at campaign events and debates over the past few moths, characterized by “forgetfulness, mischief, confusions, gaffes, and aggression,” is indicative of someone who is beginning to struggle to perform basic mental functions. . .
Biden has made numerous gaffes in recent months, including when he told a crowd in South Carolina, he was “running for the United States Senate” and that if they don’t like him they can “vote for the other Biden.”

The Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia is actively investigating the complaint against Joe Biden brought by Tara Reade, the woman who accused Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993, despite her allegation being impossible to prosecute since it is past the statute of limitations.
“This is an active, ongoing investigation, and there are no further details to provide at this time,” a Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson told the Washington Examiner Tuesday regarding Reade’s case. “Cases that are handled by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit go through a multi-review prior to being assigned a disposition. This case is progressing through the review process.”
The investigation remaining open, despite the alleged incident occurring past the statute of limitations, struck multiple experts as highly unusual. . .
On April 9, Reade filed an incident report with the D.C. police that said she “disclosed that she was the victim of a sexual assault which was committed by Subject-2 in 1993.” Reade has confirmed that Subject-2 is Joe Biden, 77, who was a Delaware senator from 1973-2009 before becoming President Barack Obama’s vice president.
Reade, 56, said that she filed an incident report for “safety reasons,” for the purpose of establishing a paper trail in case “something happened to me” and to show that she is serious about her allegation since it is illegal to make a false police report. Since coming forward with her allegations against Biden, she regularly receives threatening and vulgar messages, she told the Washington Examiner. When Christine Blasey Ford came forward in 2018 with the claim that a teenaged Brett Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her, progressives revealed their unwillingness to accept a #MeToo movement that didn’t “believe all women.” Her story deserved investigation, but when all was said and done, it was problematic in several key aspects, among them that Ford couldn’t produce anyone to affirm she and Kavanaugh had ever met, that she had told no one about the alleged assault for decades, and that she later gave conflicting accounts of what she believed had happened. . .
By publicizing accusations that lacked the most basic aspects needed for credibility, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee jettisoned their responsibility to seek the truth and instead used vulnerable women as pawns in an effort to tarnish a political enemy. In doing so, they made it less likely that subsequent women who publicized their credible accusations would be believed.
A year and a half later, Democrats and the media are again undermining the principles of #MeToo, this time by ignoring and downplaying sexual-assault allegations against Joe Biden. While Biden himself has said in the past that we must believe every woman who alleges assault, he has since changed his tune. Now, he and his prominent backers — including one of Kavanaugh’s most vigorous critics, #MeToo celebrity advocate Alyssa Milano — have begun singing the praises of due process. The New York Times apparently gave in to pressure from the Biden campaign to edit a story that ran over the weekend detailing the sexual assault allegations by Tara Reade against then-Senator Biden in 1993.
The story, which ran Easter Sunday on page A20 of the front section, originally said, “The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.” That sentence was deleted, as was a tweet saying the same thing, and the sentence, “The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden.”
Executive Editor Dean Baquet gave a curious defense of the edits.
“Even though a lot of us, including me, had looked at it before the story went into the paper, I think that the campaign thought that the phrasing was awkward and made it look like there were other instances in which he had been accused of sexual misconduct,” he explained. “And that’s not what the sentence was intended to say.”
He added, “We didn’t think it was a factual mistake. I thought it was an awkward phrasing issue that could be read different ways and that it wasn’t something factual we were correcting. So I didn’t think that was necessary [to explain].”

While Obama’s video speech about Biden was nearly four times the length—just shy of 12 minutes—of the one he gave for Clinton, both messages centered on each candidate’s achievements, a call for unity and praise for Bernie Sanders, the Vermont senator who failed to clinch the nomination in both primary contests.
Obama’s endorsement comes the day after Sanders announced his endorsement of Biden. In 2016, Obama’s endorsement of Clinton came in June two days after she secured enough delegates to become the presumptive nominee but more than a month before Sanders offered his. . .
Much like he did in 2016, Obama used his endorsement of Biden to acknowledge Sanders, a democratic-socialist who’s transformed the party by pushing for more progressive policies on economic inequality that nudged the party further to the left. Obama again credited Sanders with igniting enthusiasm within young voters, a crucial cohort for Democrats who “will be critical in moving America in a direction of progress and hope.”

Trump Campaign Slams Obama’s Biden Endorsement: ‘Even Bernie Sanders Beat Him to It’
By Fox News. The Trump campaign argued Tuesday that former President Barack Obama was forced to endorse Joe Biden after sitting on the sidelines for the entirety of the 2020 Democratic primary cycle, noting even Bernie Sanders “beat him to it.”
Obama formally endorsed Biden on Tuesday after withholding support for any candidate for months.
But Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale blasted the move, saying the former president was left with “no other choice.”
“Barack Obama spent much of the last five years urging Joe Biden not to run for president out of fear that he would embarrass himself,” Parscale said Tuesday. “Now that Biden is the only candidate left in the Democrat field, Obama has no other choice but to support him.”
