Divisions Emerge Among Biden’s Aides Over Hunter Biden’s Legal Strategy

Aides for President Joe Biden and Democratic party operatives are reportedly divided on the political consequences of Hunter Biden’s legal counteroffensive.

Biden advisers and Democratic strategists have different perceptions of how Hunter Biden’s aggressive legal strategy will influence his father’s political fortunes as he runs for reelection, eight people close to President Biden and his son told Politico.

A former 2020 campaign aide told Politico some White House officials feel “irritated that he’s being more aggressive, because he is not clearing the tactics and the strategy.” Other aides are concerned Hunter Biden’s legal tactics increase the spotlight placed on his foreign business dealings and personal scandals, Politico reported.

Hunter Biden keeps his father up to date on his legal maneuvers and his legal team informs the White House ahead of any major legal decisions, a person close to his legal team told Politico.

The legal matters themselves are entirely decided by Hunter Biden and his lawyers, including the recent attempt to have a court authorize subpoenas for former President Donald Trump and former officials from Trump’s DOJ. President Biden Addresses Hostage Situation with Hamas, Considers ‘Conditional Aid’ for Israel

President Joe Biden Friday made his first public comments on the hostages released by Hamas after its Tuesday negotiated four-day ceasefire with Israel. . .

“From the moment Hamas kidnapped these people, I, along with my team, have worked around the clock to secure their release,” said Biden. . .

The Israeli government approved a deal Tuesday night that will see the Palestinian Hamas terror group release at up to 80 female, child, and elderly hostages over four days, in return for a pause in the fighting in the Gaza Strip. . .

Inside his own party, calls to condition U.S. aid to Israel on deescalation of Israeli attacks against the terrorist organization are growing.

Where The Biden Impeachment Effort Stands Heading Into 2024

House Republicans are setting the stage for what could be a vote on articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden early next year.

A report published this week by POLITICO quoted multiple GOP members of the House Judiciary Committee — which would spearhead the drafting of any articles of impeachment — urging the chamber to move quickly toward a decision heading into 2024, which is a presidential election year in which Biden is seeking a second term in the White House.

“We understand that the further you go toward an election, the more politicized these conversations become. That’s why it’s all the more important for us to begin to take action sooner rather than later,” Rep. Ben Cline (R-VA), a member of the Judiciary Committee, told the news outlet. Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC), another member of that panel, added, “I think it needs to move with alacrity. I’ve always felt that we should be able to move faster. … But I do anticipate that it comes to Judiciary soon.”

The report also noted that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, predicted a decision would happen early in 2024 and said, “We can decide on whether or not there’s articles” after completing a series of depositions that lawmakers hope to complete in the coming weeks. Spirited Young Men Should Stay Out of Biden’s Military

Joe Biden’s Pentagon—faced with the prospect of a three front proxy war against Russia, China, and Iran—has made recent overtures of good will to America’s spirited young white men.

In a recent ad entitled “First Jump: Be All You Can Be” the Army shows an all-white squad of paratroopers jumping from a helicopter into an open field. It is a shocking ad. Save for one black woman at the end, the ad is free of “diversity,” something nearly unheard of in today’s DEI advertising climate. One enterprising researcher did a survey of all 433 actors in the nationally aired advertisements during the 2022 Super Bowl. He discovered that 40 percent of those actors were black, despite blacks accounting for only 13 percent of the American population.

The Army’s latest television spot, for once, gives an honest portrait of America’s combat troops: all male and mostly white.

After years of woke “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” inspired ads—among which the ad “The Calling” featuring a soldier raised by two lesbian activists is the best example—the Army is back to trying to recruit spirited white men.

On the heels of this latest advertising push, the Army also sent out a letter to thousands of former soldiers who were kicked out over their refusal to get the experimental COVID vaccines. The letter announces that soldiers who received a dishonorable or other-than-honorable discharge over the vaccine can apply to have their records corrected. It also opens the door to these soldiers re-enlisting.

As liberals love to say: representation matters. The latest push to recruit white men and make peace with the conservative soldiers who were forced out over the COVID vaccine mandate is a sign that America’s liberal overlords find themselves in need of America’s despised “racists” and “conspiracy theorists.” Recruiting in the military has been down since 2020 and there are numerous cracks appearing in America’s ability to project power abroad. Will New NBC Poll Cause Biden to Abandon Israel?

More polls have been released, and that means more bad news for President Joe Biden. That includes polls from NBC News and Fox News, with the former being particularly telling when it comes to how the headline from NBC chalks it up to the Israel-Hamas war. As Townhall has covered ever since the October 7 terrorist attack, polls show that Americans overall support Israel, but that that support is dwindling, and that support from Democrats and young people is particularly lacking.

“President Joe Biden’s approval rating has declined to the lowest level of his presidency — 40% — as strong majorities of all voters disapprove of his handling of foreign policy and the Israel-Hamas war, according to the latest national NBC News poll,” the write-up began by mentioning. While just 40 percent approve of how Biden is handling his presidency, 57 percent disapprove.

To be sure, young people weren’t only quoted discussing what support Biden has had for Israel, but it was still mentioned, with the write-up noting that the 70 percent of those voters ages 18 to 34 who disapprove of Biden’s handling of the war is a “whopping” figure. . .

It’s worth wondering what that will take, though. Will Biden give up on Israel? His administration has already announced aid to Gaza, despite how it could be intercepted by Hamas, as well as renewed a waiver on sanctions so as to grant funding to Iran via purchases from Iraq. This is despite how Iran supported Hamas in the October 7 terrorist attack perpetrated against Israel. . .

There are also reports of Democrats now demanding that aid to Israel be conditioned, despite how every Senate Democrats and many House Democrats haven’t even approved such aid yet. While a standalone bill providing aid and paid for with IRS funding cuts passed the House with bipartisan support, Senate Democrats have blocked the bill multiple times. Biden has also threatened to veto such a bill if it’s not tied to funding Ukraine. (Read more from “Will New NBC Poll Cause Biden to Abandon Israel?” HERE)

WATCH: Biden Baffles Turkey Pardon Guests With Joke That Confuses Taylor Swift and Britney Spears

President Joe Biden appeared to have some difficulty differentiating between pop stars when he made a few off-the-cuff comments during Monday’s ceremonial turkey pardon at the White House.

Biden was explaining just how difficult the selection process was to find the turkeys for the pardon, and attempted to compare that to how challenging it could be to secure tickets for popular concerts — such as Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, which was so popular that it was released in theaters. His comparison went sideways, however, when he appeared to confuse Swift with Britney Spears and Beyonce.

“Liberty and Bell had to beat some tough odds, competition,” Biden said of the turkeys. “Harder than getting a ticket to The Renaissance Tour — or, or to Britney’s tour, she’s down in – it’s kind of warm in Brazil right now.”

But unfortunately for Biden, the joke was more confusing than it was funny. The Renaissance Tour — which was Beyonce’s recent outing, ended on October 1 in Kansas City. Britney Spears is not touring at all, and hasn’t since her tenth outing in 2018, her Piece of Me Tour. Escalating Border Crisis: More Illegals Under Biden Than U.S. Births

Since President Joe Biden assumed office in January 2021, approximately 6.5 million illegal aliens have been encountered at the United States-Mexico border, surpassing annual U.S. births. A recent report from Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee sheds light on the severity of the ongoing border crisis, prompting concerns about the administration’s handling of immigration and border security.

The report, led by Chairman Mark Greene (R-TN), reveals alarming statistics regarding illegal alien encounters at the southern border during the Biden administration. The figure includes 6.5 million individuals encountered and an additional nearly two million classified as “known got-aways” – those who successfully crossed the border undeterred by Border Patrol agents. Moreover, experts suggest that there may be millions more “unknown got-aways” who have evaded detection.

The total number of encounters at U.S. borders under Biden’s leadership reaches a staggering 7.8 million, contributing to what Chairman Greene describes as a “historic border crisis.” The report emphasizes that the situation continues to escalate into the new fiscal year, prompting growing concerns about the strain on immigration enforcement resources.

The Biden administration’s catch and release policy have allowed millions of encountered illegal aliens to be released into American communities by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This practice has sparked apprehension about potential repercussions for local communities and the strain on public resources.

Chairman Greene issued a stern warning to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, stating, “These are catastrophic numbers across the board … I want to make this very clear to Secretary Mayorkas: Accountability is coming.” The report suggests that the Biden administration’s approach to border security is contributing to a critical and unsustainable situation.

Estimates from June indicate that approximately 17 million illegal aliens now reside in the U.S., incurring an annual cost of $163 billion to American taxpayers. This figure, however, does not encompass additional economic burdens such as housing expenses, unpaid hospital bills, lower wages, and job displacement resulting from illegal immigration.

COMMIE CALIFORNIA: Controversy Surrounds Chinese Flags in San Francisco Ahead of Biden-Xi Meeting (VIDEO)

Chinese flags parading through the streets of San Francisco ahead of President Joe Biden’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping have sparked backlash, with videos circulating on social media showcasing the flags lining the city’s streets as Xi’s motorcade drives by. Critics, including commentators like Katie Daviscourt and Ian Miles Cheong, express disapproval, with Cheong sarcastically remarking, “San Francisco looks so much better with Chinese flags. Not a single American flag or homeless person in sight.”

The backdrop to this display is the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, where Biden and Xi have their first face-to-face meeting in a year. San Francisco city officials face criticism for seemingly cleaning up the city’s homeless problem for the visiting foreign leaders. Barricades and fencing have replaced areas once occupied by homeless encampments, leading to accusations that the city is presenting a polished image for the summit.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom acknowledges the cleanup during a press conference, stating, “it’s true” that San Francisco has been cleaned up for “those fancy leaders” attending APEC. Newsom defends the move, asserting that the city has been engaged in ongoing efforts to address homelessness.

Xi Jinping’s visit to the U.S., his first since 2017, involves a meeting with Biden in the San Francisco Bay Area and participation in the APEC summit. The meeting is deemed crucial by U.S. officials for easing tensions between the two nations, described as having the world’s most dangerous rivalry. Demonstrations are anticipated both for and against Xi’s visit, reflecting the complex nature of U.S.-China relations.

As Secretary of State Antony Blinken addresses APEC ministers, he emphasizes the U.S. commitment to a region where economies have the freedom to choose their own path, subtly echoing concerns about China’s behavior in the Indo-Pacific. Biden aims to improve U.S.-China relations and normalize communication channels, including military-to-military contacts, after a period of strained ties. The San Francisco meeting occurs amidst increasing geopolitical tensions, fragile supply chains, and a worsening climate crisis, as highlighted by U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai.

House Speaker Mike Johnson Calls for Witnesses Under Oath in Biden Impeachment Inquiry

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said the impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden has advanced to a stage in which witnesses should be placed under oath.

The speaker released a statement on Wednesday that said he had just received an update from Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY), who is leading the endeavor, and the two others tasked with assisting him: Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO).

“At this stage, our impeachment inquiry has already shown the corrupt conduct of the president’s family and that he and White House officials have repeatedly lied about his knowledge and involvement in his family’s business activities,” Johnson said.

“It has also exposed the tens of millions of dollars from foreign adversaries being paid to shell companies controlled by the president’s son, brother and their business associates,” he added. “Now, the appropriate step is to place key witnesses under oath and question them under the penalty of perjury, to fill gaps in the record.” (Read more from “House Speaker Mike Johnson Calls for Witnesses Under Oath in Biden Impeachment Inquiry” HERE)

Biden-Appointed U.S. Attorneys Declined to Collaborate on Hunter Biden Investigation

Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, special counsel in the ongoing Hunter Biden investigation, confirmed two President Joe Biden-appointed U.S. Attorneys declined to work with him on the case.

Weiss testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Nov. 7 and described how Biden-appointed U.S. Attorneys Matthew Graves of the District of Columbia and E. Martin Estrada of the Central District of California rejected his requests to partner on the Hunter Biden case, according to a transcript reviewed by the Daily Caller.

Weiss recalled reaching out to Graves in early March 2022 about partnering on the Hunter Biden case. The two had a five to 10 minute call about the investigation where Weiss briefed Graves.

“I had never met or spoken with Mr. Graves before. I explained the situation. I talked a little bit about the investigation, some of the background of the investigation,” Weiss said of the call, according to a transcript reviewed by the Daily Caller.

“He was — you know, he was receptive. Like I said, we agreed that my criminal chief, I think, would reach out to his, and we would move forward,” Weiss added after a follow up question. (Read more from “Biden-Appointed U.S. Attorneys Declined to Collaborate on Hunter Biden Investigation” HERE)
