Biden-Appointed Prosecutor Rejected Hunter Case, Raising Conflict of Interest Questions

U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves, appointed by President Joe Biden, saw no conflict of interest problems with addressing a case against the president’s son when Graves was presented with the case last year.

Graves, who also donated to Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign, was grilled on the topic by the House Judiciary Committee during a closed-door interview this month, according to a transcript reviewed by the Washington Examiner.

“But you understand the perception problem,” counsel for the committee told Graves. “You’re an appointee of President Biden, and, here, you’ve been asked to weigh in on a prosecution involving his son. I mean, certainly, there’s an obvious perceived — at least the perceived conflict of interest, correct?”

Graves replied, “I don’t see it that way.”

“We have investigations all the time — the Department [of Justice] does, of individuals who are members of the administration,” Graves said. “A family member of the administration? Biden Admits Terror Threat in U.S. Has Increased Since Terror Attack

President Joe Biden admitted during an interview that aired Sunday evening that the threat of terrorism in the United States has risen as a result of Hamas terrorist attack against Israel.

Biden made the remarks during an interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes” that aired Sunday evening after the attacks killed more than 1,300 Israelis, including more than two dozen American citizens.

Host Scott Pelley asked Biden if “the threat of terrorism in the United States increased” as a result of the attacks.

“Yes,” Biden responded. “I had a meeting this morning with the Homeland Security people, with the FBI, with — for the Situation Room, for the better part of an hour to discuss how we make sure that we prevent a lone wolf and/or any coordinated effort to try to do what was done in synagogues before, do what was done to Jews in the street. Biden Trips Before Saying Hamas Makes ‘Al Qaeda Look Pure’

President Biden stumbled twice Friday while walking up the steps of a stage in Philadelphia — before telling his audience that Al Qaeda terrorists seem “pure” next to those from “evil” Hamas.

The 80-year-old president initially staggered as he began to climb a small set of stairs to the stage, then lurched forward as he threatened to lose his balance completely — recalling a bad spill he took earlier this year during the Air Force Academy commencement exercises.

When Biden regained his footing, he theatrically gripped the railing with both hands and mugged for his audience before making his way to the lectern and giving an unexpected appraisal of the global terror network that carried out the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, killing 2,977 people at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pa.

“These guys make — they make Al Qaeda look pure. They’re pure evil,” Biden said of the Palestinian jihadist organization that rules the Gaza Strip. “As I said from the beginning, the United States, make no mistake about it, stands with Israel.”

Senator Urges Joe Biden to Use Special Forces to Rescue Americans Hostages From Hamas

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) urged President Joe Biden in a letter on Thursday to use American special forces to help rescue at least 14 American hostages from Hamas.

Cotton wrote to Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in a letter obtained by Breitbart News, “National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said today that at least 14 American citizens are unaccounted for after Hamas attacked Israel last weekend. Some of these missing Americans are presumed to be hostages of the Hamas terrorists.”

The Arkansas senator said that the United States has special forces that can help rescue Americans taken hostage:

The United States has special-operations forces specially trained in hostage rescue, and these forces are already in Israel to assist with intelligence and planning efforts. I urge you to use these elite warriors in a hands-on role to rescue the American hostages. Nothing can be taken for chance. Israel is our closest partner, but the safety of American citizens is the responsibility of the United States government.

We have a duty to act, including with the use of force if necessary to save our fellow Americans. Now is the time for bold and audacious action, not timid half measures or bureaucratic constraints. I’m confident the American people will support its government in all actions necessary to rescue these Americans from the savages in Gaza.

Biden Compares Losing His Son to Israelis Being Heinously Murdered by Terrorists

President Joe Biden regularly and inappropriately compares the burden of losing his late son, Beau, to those suffering more significant and brutal losses of their loved ones.

Every tragedy that occurs, Biden brings up the death of his oldest son who died at age 46 after battling brain cancer— in a hospital bed surrounded by doctors and his family. . .

During a press conference, Biden used the opportunity to force sympathy on his own life rather than focusing on condemning the evil attacks on innocent Jewish people.

“Americans across the country are praying for all those families that have been ripped apart,” Biden said, adding that “a lot of us know how it feels. “It leaves a black hole in your chest when you lose family, feeling like you’re being sucked in. Biden Caught Lying Yet Again: He Never Saw Photo’s of Beheaded Israeli Babies

President Biden said Wednesday that he has seen “confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children” in southern Israel following reports that up to 40 babies were butchered over the weekend near the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip – but the White House later walked back the commander in chief’s claim.

“I never really thought that I would see and have confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children. I never thought I’d ever — anyway,” Biden, 80, told leaders of Jewish groups at the White House Wednesday.

But neither the president nor US officials have seen images or independently confirmed reports of beheaded children, a White House spokesperson later clarified, according to the Washington Post.

The White House says that Biden based his remark on claims made by a spokesman for Israel’s prime minister and media reports coming out of the Jewish state.

The sickening reports emerged Tuesday as the Israeli military offered journalists tours of areas ravaged by Hamas’ Saturday morning surprise attack, which left more than 1,200 civilians and Israeli troops dead and about 150 believed abducted — with at least 22 Americans dead and 17 others still unaccounted for. Biden Trails Trump in Crucial Battleground State He Won in 2020: Poll

President Joe Biden is trailing former President Donald Trump by 9 points in the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania, which the Democrat won in 2020, according to a poll released on Wednesday.

Trump beat Biden 45% to 36% among Pennsylvania voters, with 11% choosing someone else and 8% remaining undecided, according to the Emerson College survey. Biden won the state in 2020 against the former president 50% to 48.8% in one of the country’s most narrow margins of victory, and Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016 by 1.2 points.

The survey also found that Biden had a 31% approval rating among Pennsylvanians, with 51% disapproving.

Another recent survey, conducted by Quinnipiac University, suggested that Trump was leading Biden by 2 points among Pennsylvania voters, as well as among independents at 48% to 39%, respectively.

A series of recent polls indicate Trump has a leg up on Biden in key battleground states like Michigan, Georgia and North Carolina. A mid-September Reuters/Ipsos survey found that across Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Trump leads Biden 41% to 35%. Biden Official Refuses to Say Nuclear War Is More Dangerous Than Climate Change (VIDEO)

White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby refused to say this week that nuclear war is more dangerous to humanity than climate change.

Kirby made the remarks, or a lack thereof, during an interview on Fox News with Martha MacCallum as war rages in Europe between Russia and Ukraine and has exploded in the Middle East as Iranian-backed Islamic terrorist groups launched an unprecedented terrorist attack against Israel. . .

“The only existential threat humanity faces even more frightening than a nuclear war is global warming going above 1.5 degrees in the next 20 — 10 years,” the 80-year-old president claimed.

MacCallum asked, “Given all the nuclear players in these two areas where we are now engaged on, does the president stand by that comment?”

“Absolutely he does. Climate change is an existential threat,” he claimed. “It could, it actually threatens, is capable [of] wiping out all human life on earth over time. I mean, that’s, I don’t know how more existential you can get to that. Biden-Appointed Prosecutor Ignored Potential Conflict of Interest in Hunter Biden Case, Testimony Shows

Biden-appointed U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves does not believe he had a conflict of interest by playing a role in the Hunter Biden investigation.

Graves testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Oct. 3 and rejected the notion that his appointment by President Biden, work on Biden’s presidential campaign and donations to Biden posed a conflict of interest with his role in the Hunter Biden case, according to a transcript of his testimony reviewed by the Daily Caller.

Graves clarified that he was on an unpaid committee role for the Biden campaign and donated money to the campaign. He downplayed his communications with the Biden campaign when he took on the unpaid policy role.

“So I knew someone who had some affiliation to the campaign; said that I was interested in criminal justice issues. I got put on this committee, and my responsibilities, being on this committee, consisted of receiving emails from the committee that anybody basically, almost anybody who contributed. I had no direct interaction … or in direct interaction with anybody on the campaign,” Graves said. Biden Interviewed as Part of Special Counsel Investigation Into Classified Documents

President Biden has been interviewed by the Justice Department special counsel investigating the commander in chief’s handling of classified documents from his time in the Senate and as vice president, the White House said late Monday.

The interview was “voluntary” and conducted at the White House on both Sunday and Monday, Ian Sams, a spokesman for the White House Counsel’s Office, said in a statement announcing the first major development in the case in months.

“The President has been interviewed as part of the investigation being led by Special Counsel Robert Hur,” Sams said. “The voluntary interview was conducted at the White House over two days, Sunday and Monday, and concluded Monday.”

“As we have said from the beginning, the President and the White House are cooperating with this investigation, and as it has been appropriate, we have provided relevant updates publicly, being as transparent as we can consistent with protecting and preserving the integrity of the investigation.
