KJP’s Twitter Account Apparently Posts Tweet Meant for Joe Biden

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s Twitter account apparently posted a tweet Tuesday that was meant to come from President Joe Biden.

The press secretary’s account reportedly posted a tweet about “investing in all of America” and referred to running for president, according to screenshots posted by several accounts. The tweet has since been deleted. . .

Biden traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday to give a speech on the economic policy that his administration labels “Bidenomics.” During the speech, the president said he and his wife will travel to Maui, Hawaii “as soon” as they can, but did not specify a date as wildfires that have killed at least 96 people continue to devastate the country. Biden Seems to Forget ‘Maui’ as He Finally Publicly Speaks About Wildfire Disaster in Hawaii

President Biden finally publicly spoke about the deadly Hawaii wildfires Tuesday — although he seemed to forget the name of the devastated island of Maui and noted he prefers to keep his speeches to under 18 minutes but would make an exception in this case.

The 80-year-old president addressed the deadliest US wildfires in more than a century after withering criticism for lounging on the beach Sunday and telling reporters “no comment” when later asked about the blaze.

Biden seemed to grasp for the name of Maui during a brief detour Tuesday from prepared remarks loaded into teleprompters for his speech in Milwaukee, Wisc. — referring to it as “the one where you see on television all of the time.

“I apologize because I try very hard to keep my speeches between 15 and 18 minutes, but I got to talk a little bit about Hawaii,” Biden said as he began a speech that was supposed to tout his own economic policies.

Biden proceeded to describe federal efforts to support disaster relief during the tragedy, including a $700 onetime grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to victims of the wildfires, which have killed at least 99 people so far. Ex-FBI Agent Says IRS Whistleblower Was Right, Bidens Were Tipped off During Investigation

A former FBI agent who worked on the investigation into Hunter Biden has corroborated a major claim made by whistleblower and IRS supervisory special agent Gary Shapley.

The unnamed retired FBI supervisory special agent testified to the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability in a closed-door session on July 17. The committee released the 65-page transcript of that testimony on Monday.

The ex-agent backed up allegations made by Shapley that President Joe Biden’s transition team was tipped off about the FBI’s intent to interview Hunter. The agent said he was notified the evening before the date of the expected interview – planned to be held on December 8, 2020 – that the Biden transition team had been warned.

“I was refreshed by the testimony of supervisor No. 2, and I believe he’s correct. I believe I – you know, and now getting into the frame of mind, I know I was upset when I learned about it,” the agent told lawmakers. White House Claims ‘Zero Evidence’ Joe Biden Involved in Hunter’s Business Deals as GOP Hunts Bank Records

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed Monday that President Biden “wasn’t involved” in his son Hunter’s foreign business dealings — despite mounting evidence to the contrary as House Republicans seek bank records to prove it.

Jean-Pierre made the comment at her first briefing since Delaware US Attorney David Weiss was granted special counsel authority Friday to continue his years-long investigation of the first son, now 53.

“If you think about what Republicans in Congress have tried to do for years — right? — they have been making claims of, and allegations — right? — about [the] president on this front, over and over again,” the press secretary said when asked if Weiss might uncover evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s ventures in places like China and Ukraine.

“And month after month, year after year, they have been investigating every single angle of this and looking at and looking for any evidence to back their allegations,” Jean-Pierre went on. “That’s what they’ve been do[ing] for years, for months, and we’ve seen it over the past several weeks. And what’s been the result of that? If you ask yourself, what we have seen from that? They keep turning up documents and witnesses showing that the president wasn’t involved, never discussed these business dealings and did nothing wrong.

“There’s been zero evidence showing otherwise. And so that’s what we have seen over the past several months. That’s what we’ve seen over the past several years. So I’ll leave it at that.” (Read more from “White House Claims ‘Zero Evidence’ Joe Biden Involved in Hunter’s Business Deals as GOP Hunts Bank Records” HERE)

‘Repayment of a Bribe’: Vivek Ramaswamy Backs Impeachment Inquiry Against Biden

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy backed an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden on Sunday, calling Biden’s aid for Ukraine “repayment of a bribe.”

“I’m also happy to go on record, heard you talking about it before, I’m on record going in favor of impeachment inquiry on Biden, because I personally believe the Ukraine war is indeed a repayment for a bribe made, now sending $200 billion of taxpayer money in the other direction,” Ramaswamy told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo. Ramaswamy said on Aug. 6 that the billions in aid to Ukraine was a repayment for the money paid to Hunter Biden, according to NBC News.

Ramaswamy said he would “be open to evaluating pardons for members of the Biden family in the interest of moving the nation forward” after he fulfilled his campaign promise to pardon former President Donald Trump, the New York Post reported.

“Let me fast-forward to January 21, 2025, my second day in office, after we’ve issued those pardons, after we’ve set into motion shutting down the FBI, not just reforming it, actually restoring the integrity of our government — the question is, is the next thing that I then want to do, after we’ve sent our nation forward, is it to then focus my agenda on persecuting or prosecuting Joe Biden or his family?” Ramaswamy asked. “My answer to that question is no.”

“I’m going to be focused on stimulating the economy, ending the war in Ukraine, declaring independence from China. That is how we win as one nation,” Ramaswamy said. “So, no, I’m not going to be guided by vengeance and grievance, I’m going to be guided by integrity. But the first step to getting there is there can be no reconciliation without truth. We have to get to the bottom of — including that bribe, I believe, paid to the Biden family — how that is tied to our war in Ukraine and our support of that war in Ukraine, get to the bottom of that first.” (Read more from “‘Repayment of a Bribe’: Vivek Ramaswamy Backs Impeachment Inquiry Against Biden” HERE)

Seven Prominent Democrats Turn on Biden Over Soft Border Policies: ‘Federal Crisis of Inaction’

A growing number of Democrats have turned on President Joe Biden over his policies at the Southern border, as the continuing migrant crisis brings chaos to cities across the country.

From Massachusetts to Arizona, The Post has noted seven prominent liberal politicians and one Independent office holder who now say the President needs to do more to stem the flow of migrants to American cities.

Most recently, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey said her state has taken charge while the federal government has been missing in action, as she declared a state of emergency last week over the migrants crisis in her state.

“Massachusetts has stepped up to address what sadly has been a federal crisis of inaction that is many years in the making,” she said in her letter to feds.

With nearly 5,600 migrant families or more than 20,000 individuals currently in state shelter, including children and pregnant women, Healey also demanded the Biden administration pay for the expenses. Former FBI Agent: Biden Team Tipped off About Plan to Interview Hunter

A former FBI supervisory special agent (SSA) confirmed President Joe Biden’s 2020 transition team was tipped off about its plan to interview Hunter Biden, a newly released congressional transcript shows.

The former FBI agent, who worked for the bureau for 20 years and retired in June 2022, corroborated IRS Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley’s testimony that the Secret Service and the Biden transition team were tipped off about a planned interview of Hunter Biden during United States Attorney for Delaware David Weiss’ investigation.

The former FBI agent first corroborated Shapley’s testimony in July. The House Oversight Committee released the transcript of the FBI agent’s testimony Monday:

The former FBI agent confirmed that both he and Shapley were told in early December 2019 not to approach Hunter Biden and instead wait for Hunter Biden’s call for the interview. Instead of receiving the call, they got a call from Hunter Biden’s attorney and were never granted an interview.

“IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley’s testimony that Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition team were tipped off is confirmed by a former FBI agent. Shapley and the FBI agent planned to interview Hunter Biden in December 2020, but learned the night before that the Biden transition team was tipped off,” House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) said in a press release. GOP Rep. Moves to Impeach President Biden Over Alleged Ties to Hunter Dealings

A Republican congressman from Florida unveiled articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden on Friday, alleging he was deeply tied to allegations and investigations surrounding his son Hunter.

Rep. Greg Steube, a member of the House’s far-right Freedom Caucus, alleged that Biden was complicit in his family members’ business machinations and took steps to protect them from the legal fallout.

“It’s long past time to impeach Joe Biden,” Steube said in a statement. “The evidence continues to mount by the day – the Biden Crime Family has personally profited off Joe’s government positions through bribery, threats, and fraud.”

“Joe Biden must not be allowed to continue to sit in the White House, selling out our country.”

Steube laid out four articles of impeachment: abuse of power, obstruction of justice, fraud and financial involvement in drugs and prostitution. (Read more from “GOP Rep. Moves to Impeach President Biden Over Alleged Ties to Hunter Dealings” HERE)

Prosecutors in Criminal Investigation Into Joe Biden Push to Interview President

Prosecutors in the criminal investigation into President Joe Biden’s handling of classified information are reportedly negotiating with his attorneys over the terms that he will be interviewed under.

NBC News reported that Special Counsel Robert Hur, who served in the Trump administration, is in the process of nailing down when, where, and how the interview will take place, and how expansive the questions will be.

The criminal investigation into Biden, which has taken a backseat in the media to his son’s and former President Donald Trump’s legal troubles, began back in January when classified information dating back to when Biden was a U.S. Senator was discovered at multiple locations connected to him.

Typically, when prosecutors begin pressing to interview the person at center of an investigation, it signals that the probe is reaching its final stages.

The latest development in the criminal investigation into President Biden was overshadowed on Friday by the news that the U.S. attorney investigating his son, Hunter Biden, has been appointed “special counsel” in that investigation. Biden-Harris to Pass On Visiting Maui: They ‘Don’t Want to Distract’ From Relief Efforts

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will not visit Maui in the aftermath of the deadly wildfires because they “don’t want to distract” from the relief efforts, Harris announced on Friday.

The wildfires, which began Tuesday and continue to blaze, have destroyed acres of property and taken dozens of lives. On Friday, local officials announced the death toll increased to 67, making it the deadliest wildfire on U.S. soil since the 2018 Camp Fire in California killed at least 85 people.

The wildfires have destroyed at least 2,000 acres of land, including 80 percent of the Maui town Lahaina, a rich cultural area that was once the capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Neither Biden nor Harris will visit the devastated Hawaiian island despite the destruction, according to Harris. (Read more from “Biden-Harris to Pass On Visiting Maui: They ‘Don’t Want to Distract’ From Relief Efforts” HERE)
