Biden Administration to Urge All Americans: Get a Coronavirus Booster Shot Now

All Americans will be urged by the Biden administration to get a coronavirus booster shot this autumn ahead of what it claims is a new wave of infections, a White House official said Sunday.

Reuters reports the official said while the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports an increase in infections and hospital admissions from the virus, overall levels remain low, however caution is urged.

Moderna and other coronavirus vaccine makers Novavax, Pfizer and German partner BioNTech SE have all reportedly created versions of their shots ready and aimed at the XBB.1.5 subvariant.

On Thursday, Moderna said initial data showed its updated coronavirus vaccine is effective against the “Eris” and “Fornax” subvariants in humans.

Pending approval from health regulators in the United States and Europe, the Reuters reports details companies expect the updated shots to be available in the coming weeks for the autumn vaccination season. Angry Maui Residents Slam Biden, Hold ‘No Comment’ Signs During President’s Fire Tour

C Monday as he arrived in Maui to tour wildfire damage after repeatedly declining to comment last week on the tragedy that killed at least 114 people.

A group of several dozen residents of scorched western Maui heckled Biden’s motorcade shortly after noon local time as it left tiny Kapalua Airport en route to the hardest hit areas of historic Lahaina, which was destroyed on Aug. 8.

“Go home Joe!” the locals chanted as Biden passed by — moments before the president read a scripted speech touting the federal response, despite criticism from residents who say not enough help has been offered.

The 80-year-old commander in chief has taken intense criticism, including from fellow Democrats, for appearing aloof following the deadliest US wildfires in more than a century.

As he drove toward downtown Lahaina, Biden passed signs that said “NO COMMENT,” “ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS” and “FJB,” as well as at least two flags promoting the 2024 candidacy of former President Donald Trump. Biden Admin Crackdown on Legal Gun Dealers Leads to 350% Rise in License Loss

Gun dealers are crying foul as the Biden administration pursues an apparent crackdown on legal firearms sellers, whose licenses have been revoked at an unprecedented rate over the last two years.

“This policy is designed to be a backdoor violation of the Second Amendment,” Anthony Navarro, a Greeley, Colorado, dealer who lost his license last year, told the Wall Street Journal.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has taken away the licenses of 122 gun dealers since October — up from just 27 revocations in all of fiscal year 2021, a 350% increase in the first nine months of this fiscal year alone.

Dealers complain that many of the violations leading to the loss of their businesses amount to little more than paperwork errors.

President Biden ‘Very Obsessed’ With Coverage of Hunter, but Aides Afraid to Bring Him up in Meetings: Report

CNN’s John Avlon said Thursday that President Biden was “very obsessed” with the coverage of his son Hunter and his allies don’t want to bring it up because it would “derail a conversation.”

Avlon said that Republicans have had a “difficult time demonizing Joe Biden” and said doing it with Hunter Biden creates “some sense of moral equivalence with the Trump family’s challenges.”

“There’s deep reluctance, as this reporting shows, to raise this with President Biden because he has stuck by his sole surviving son and he will. And in private also, I’ve heard reports that he’s very obsessed with the negative coverage of Hunter. He’s concerned about it, it’s an irritant. And that’s understandable. But not one that allies around him want to raise because it will derail a conversation,” Avlon continued.

Joe Biden Used Email Pseudonyms While VP to Loop in Hunter on Ukraine, Government Business

President Biden used at least three pseudonyms during his vice presidency to send messages to his son Hunter concerning both family and official government business — including meetings with Ukrainian leaders, emails found on the first son’s abandoned laptop show.

Then-Vice President Biden emailed Hunter under the aliases “Robin Ware,” “Robert L. Peters” and “JRB Ware” between 2014 and 2016, keeping his son abreast of scheduled talks with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Kyiv Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, among other communications The Post first revealed in 2021.

The elder Biden had one of his aides, John Flynn, send his daily schedule to the private email address “[email protected]” at least 10 times between May 18 and June 15, 2016, copying Hunter on a May 26 message with a note about an “8.45am prep for 9am phonecall [sic] with Pres Poroshenko.”

Biden had pressured Poroshenko five months earlier to fire Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the natural gas company Burisma Holdings, where Hunter earned roughly $1 million per year while serving on the board between 2014 and 2019.

The vice president, who was in charge of Ukraine policy at the time, discussed reforms to Shokin’s office after the prosecutor’s ouster, according to an archived readout of the May 27 conversation. Jake Tapper: ‘Trump Was Right… Biden Was Wrong’ About Hunter’s Foreign Business Deals (VIDEO)

CNN’s Jake Tapper admitted Friday afternoon that Donald Trump was correct and Joe Biden was wrong about Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals when the two addressed the issue during a 2020 presidential debate.

Tapper made the comment during a roundtable discussion on the current scandal embroiling the president and his administration as Congressional Republicans dig further into Hunter’s foreign business dealings and his father’s alleged influence in securing over $20 million since he took office as vice president in 2009. Tapper started the segment by citing a Washington Post article that stated, “Hunter Biden reported nearly $2.4 million in income in 2017 and $2.2 million in income in 2018 — most of which came from Chinese or Ukrainian interests.”

“And this directly goes against what Joe Biden said in the debate in 2020 with Donald Trump,” Tapper said before playing a clip of Biden denying that Hunter made money from Chinese business dealings while Trump berated Biden, saying that his son “made a fortune in Ukraine, in China, in Moscow.”

“Trump was right,” Tapper added. “I mean, [Hunter] did make a fortune from China, and Joe Biden was wrong. I don’t know that he was lying about it. He might not have been told by Hunter, but this blind spot is a problem.”

Biden Oversees Record Border Crossers in U.S. With Unresolved Asylum Claims, Outpacing Populations of 11 States

Under President Joe Biden’s watch, now more than 1.6 million border crossers are in the United States with unresolved asylum claims. The majority, based on federal data, will have their asylum claims denied.

The data, reviewed and published by Andrew Arthur of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), reveals the extent to which Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is carrying out an expansive catch and release network, releasing tens of thousands of border crossers into the U.S. interior every month — most with dubious asylum claims.

As of March, there are now more than 1.6 million border crossers in the U.S. with unresolved asylum claims, Arthur details:

That’s more applicants that residents in 11 U.S. states, and an insurmountable burden for adjudicators, as the Biden administration has effectively broken the asylum system, and seeks to hide the damage.

According to Arthur, “Biden’s DHS has released nearly every alien [Customs and Border Patrol] has encountered at the southwest border.” In hundreds of thousands of cases, border crossers in the U.S. will not have their claims adjudicated for nearly a decade. Former Intelligence Director Slams New Biden Docs as the ‘Smoking Gun and the Bloody Knife’

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said new documents involving Joe and Hunter Biden were a “smoking gun and the bloody knife” Thursday.

Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, demanded access to documents from then-Vice President Joe Biden’s emails Thursday in a letter to the National Archives and Records Administration. A May 26, 2016 email to one of then-Vice President Joe Biden’s pseudonyms discussed an upcoming meeting with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

“These are Joe Biden’s documents. One of the emails on the NARA website is literally titled, ’emails between vice President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden regarding Ukraine and Burisma,’” Ratcliffe told Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “I mean, that’s not a smoking gun, that’s a smoking gun and the bloody knife. I mean, that’s really significant evidence that we really shouldn’t just be finding about now. Locals Lash Out Against Biden’s Visit to Maui After Deadly Wildfires: ‘I Don’t Want Him Here’

Hawaiian residents are saying they don’t want Joe Biden to visit them on Monday as the president continues to face backlash this week for appearing aloof following the state’s largest natural disaster.

With pressure mounting for him to visit and discuss the federal government’s response to the Maui wildfires, Biden announced Wednesday that he would visit the devastated island come Monday, much to the dissatisfaction of some island residents.

“I don’t want him here,” Jay Awan, of Lahaina, told The Post Wednesday. “He’s just coming to Maui to look good in front of the cameras.”

Awan, 45, a cook and tiki carver, said nothing would be gained from the 80-year-old president’s visit, as his town, a once-popular resort area, has been “burned to the ground.”

China Mocks Biden’s Inability to Handle Hawaii Fires (VIDEO)

Chinese state media this week gleefully mocked President Joe Biden for bungling the response to Hawaii’s wildfires.

Editorials pushed the Communist Party narrative that only authoritarian governments can handle disasters of such magnitude, and taunted the U.S. for prioritizing military spending over disaster response.

On Tuesday, the state-run Global Times taunted that Hawaii’s travails made the U.S. look “unlike a developed country,” as the fires exposed incompetence at every level:

Deadly wildfires in Hawaii, which caused the biggest death toll in more than a century in the US and forced thousands to evacuate from their homes, expose the incompetence of the US government, said analysts, with many local residents who survived the disaster posting videos on social media criticizing the problematic response of local authorities and poor early warning system. Residents also criticized US mainstream media reports, saying this was not just a natural disaster, but also a man-made calamity.

Chinese analysts and web users are paying attention to the horrible tragedy that Americans have suffered, as the hashtags on Sina Weibo about “Hawaii wildfires” have received more than 71.52 million views on Tuesday. Experts said the response of the US government made the US look “unlike a developed country.”
