Obama Privately Warned Biden About Trump’s Strengths in 2024: Report

Former President Barack Obama reportedly offered current President Joe Biden some advice at a private lunch in June 2023, warning him not to underestimate the strengths of former President Donald Trump.

While visiting the White House this summer for what aides described as a regular “catch-up” between the two men, Obama reportedly warned Biden of Trump’s “iron-grip” on the Republican Party, according to The Washington Post.

In addition to Trump’s formidable lead over other GOP candidates, Obama reportedly pointed to Trump’s “intensely loyal” following among voters and a Trump-friendly conservative media as forces that could work against Biden in 2024, the outlet stated. Those strengths coupled with a largely polarized country, Obama reportedly warned, could make Trump a far more formidable opponent than most Democrats realize.

Obama has reportedly offered to assist his former vice president in the 2024 race, with plans to ramp up fundraising efforts in the coming months. Eric Schultz, a senior adviser to Obama, reportedly stated the former president will “tailor” his campaign activity to maximize its effect.

Biden Reportedly Wants to Meet Granddaughter He Previously Refused to Acknowledge Existed

President Joe Biden reportedly wants to meet his granddaughter, four-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, who he refused to publicly acknowledge existed until last week, NBC News reported Wednesday.

Biden recognized his seventh grandchild – having previously insisted he only had six – for the first time in a statement Friday. Biden now reportedly wants to meet Navy in person in an effort to dissipate rumors that he was ignoring her existence, according to people who spoke to NBC News.

It is currently unclear when and where the visit will take place, NBC reported. It is also unclear whether Navy’s mother and father, Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts, will be in attendance.

Hunter Biden has reportedly never met his daughter, who was born in 2018. Biden reportedly waited to acknowledge Navy until he got the go-ahead from Hunter Biden, according to NBC.

Biden’s America: Poll Finds Confidence in Military Lowest in Two Decades

Citizens in President Joe Biden’s (D) America are losing confidence in the United States military, according to a Gallup poll.

Citizens are mostly declining to share a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence when it comes to the nation’s military, the Gallup poll, conducted June 1 through to June 22 and shared Monday found.

The news comes after the Air Force celebrated so-called “Pride Month” across its social media accounts with a graphic of an airman saluting what appears to be a rainbow flag, Breitbart News reported June 8.

Kamala Harris Uses Biden’s Vacation Week to Audition for His Job

Vice President Kamala Harris is stepping into the spotlight while President Biden is on a summer beach vacation, embracing what critics say is her status as the de facto incumbent because of her boss’ advanced age.

Speaking to a supportive crowd in Orlando, Florida, she rejected Gov. Ron DeSantis‘ invite to discuss new school curricula that say some enslaved people used skills learned in captivity for their “personal benefit” later in life. Ms. Harris leaned directly into a debate over Black history that has dogged Mr. DeSantis‘ run for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

“Right here in Florida, they plan to teach students that enslaved people benefited from slavery,” Ms. Harris said. “I’m here in Florida, and I will tell you there is no roundtable, no lecture, no invitation we will accept to debate an undeniable fact: There were no redeeming qualities of slavery.”

Ms. Harris will step into the head-of-state role while Mr. Biden enjoys bike rides and other beach activities in Delaware. She is sitting down Wednesday with Mongolia’s prime minister, who is looking abroad to jump-start his country’s economic fortunes.

Ms. Harris will pivot to domestic politics Thursday with a trip to champion advancement in broadband access in Wisconsin — a key prize in the Electoral College — and meet with political supporters in Milwaukee. By The Blaze. Just days before Hunter Biden’s former business partner is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee, President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice is pushing for Devon Archer to go to prison.

Devon Archer worked closely with Hunter Biden for years. Starting in 2009, the two co-founded the investment firm Rosemont Seneca alongside John Kerry’s stepson – Christopher Heinz.

In 2013, Archer and Biden partnered with Chinese private equity investor Jonathan Li to establish a China-backed investment fund called BHR Partners. The investment firm is supported by some of China’s largest financial institutions – including the Bank of China. . .

In 2014, Archer and Biden joined the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings.

Records also show that Archer visited the White House in 2009 for a “holiday reception,” then in 2011 for a “group tour,” and a meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden in the West Wing on April 16, 2014 – just days before Hunter and Archer joined the Burisma board. Devon Archer, the Man Who Will Testify to Congress About His Business Dealings With Hunter Biden: Who Is He?

By Fox News. Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s longtime friend and business associate, is expected to testify on Capitol Hill Monday and share intimate details about foreign ventures he worked on and the level at which President Biden was allegedly involved.

Archer is set to appear before the House Oversight Committee Monday and is reportedly preparing to tell lawmakers that President Biden met with dozens of Hunter’s business associates while he was serving as vice president between 2009 and 2017.

Archer is expected to detail the meetings he witnessed that both Bidens attended—either in person or via telephone. Archer will reportedly testify that Hunter would specifically introduce his father to foreign business partners or prospective investors.

Archer’s intimate knowledge of the business arrangements come after years of working closely with Hunter, including on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings with him, beginning in 2014.

Archer also co-founded investment firm Rosemont Seneca alongside the president’s son and Climate Envoy John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz. Archer served as managing director. House Oversight Members Confirm President Biden Was Present During Son’s Foreign Business Phone Calls (VIDEO)

Hunter Biden’s former business partner reportedly confirmed to the House Oversight Committee that President Joe Biden was on more than twenty calls with his son during a closed-door hearing on Monday, where Republican members pressed for details about alleged foreign business dealings involving the president during his time in the Obama administration.

Devon Archer, who served as a director of Ukrainian energy company Burisma alongside Hunter Biden, reportedly ignored questions from the press as he walked into the O’Neill House Office Building. The committee was expected to interview Archer for approximately five hours, where Republican and Democrat members rotate between hour blocks to investigate the key witness, who has alleged Hunter put then-Vice President Joe Biden on speaker phone roughly two dozen times as Hunter spoke to his foreign business partners or investors, beginning in 2014.

Oversight member Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told The Daily Mail that Archer said, “the Bidens were in the actual business of influence peddling.” . . .

“We have Devon Archer coming out and telling the truth that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden spoke over 20 times about his business deals, not about the weather, not about what was for lunch about his business deals,” Greene added.

Ex-Hunter Biden Partner Devon Archer Testifies Joe Biden Was on Calls With Foreign Patrons ‘For the Brand’

By New York Post. . .A source familiar with Archer’s nearly four-hour closed-door interview said that Archer testified that Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings added Hunter to its board in early 2014 because of the Biden “brand” as his dad led US policy toward Ukraine.

Archer also stated that Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky — who allegedly told an FBI informant he was “coerced” to pay $10 million in bribes to Hunter and then-Vice President Joe Biden — and company executive Vadym Pozharskyi in late 2015 put intense pressure on Hunter to enlist the US government to help oust Ukrainian prosecutor-general Viktor Shokin, who had investigated Burisma for corruption.

He said he witnessed the then-second son, Zlochevsky and Pozharskyi step away as they “called DC” to discuss the issue, the source said — without specifying what, if anything, Archer said about the recently surfaced bribery allegation.

Archer also said Hunter Biden put his father on speakerphone more than 20 times during business meetings to promote “the brand” — including at a Paris dinner with reps from a French energy company and while in China with Jonathan Li of BHR Partners, a state-backed investment fund co-founded by Hunter in 2013 after he introduced his father to Li in Beijing during an official trip.

Archer further confirmed that then-Vice President Biden attended an April 2015 dinner at Washington’s Cafe Milano with Pozharskyi and former Moscow first lady Yelena Baturina, as previously reported by The Post. Biden’s ‘My Son Has Not Made Money on China’ Debate Lie Isn’t Looking Too Good Right Now

In the months leading up to the 2020 election, President Joe Biden denied on multiple occasions that he ever discussed business with his son.

One of Joe’s most infamous and specific lies was, “My son has not made money in terms of this thing about — what are you talking about — China,” which he delivered from the stage during the second presidential debate in October 2020.

Five days before the debate, the New York Post reported on emails from Hunter’s abandoned laptop detailing how the younger Biden pursued business deals with one of China’s largest energy companies in an attempt to cash in “for me and my family.”

The Post also uncovered evidence that some of these arrangements involve a “big guy” who sounded an awful lot like then-Vice President Joe. Hunter was going to get this mysterious man to exchange political favors for millions of dollars, a fact which was later corroborated by a highly credible confidential human source.

When former President Donald Trump brought up the “laptop from hell” onstage on October 20, Biden countered with conspiracies that the laptop was Russian disinformation. Biden, Hunter, and the FBI knew this was a lie but proceeded to tout it for months after the election anyway. Trump Predicts New Indictment ‘Any Day Now’ to Distract From Hunter Biden’s Legal Saga

Donald Trump is bracing for an imminent fresh indictment and he claims the impending legal action will be a charade to obscure bad news for President Biden.

Trump bemoaned the supposed indictment in a post on Truth Social as Special Counsel Jack Smith mulls potential charges against him for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and coinciding efforts to undermine the 2020 election.

“I assume that an Indictment from Deranged Jack Smith and his highly partisan gang of Thugs, pertaining to my ‘PEACEFULLY & TPATRIOTICALLY Speech [sic], will be coming out any day now, as yet another attempt to cover up all of the bad news about bribes, payoffs, and extortion, coming from the Biden ‘camp,’” Trump bemoaned in a Truth Social post.

Trump’s premonition coincides with closed-door testimony before the House Oversight Committee from Hunter Biden’s business partner Devon Archer who alleged the then-vice president was put on speakerphone for the first son’s business partners on roughly 20 occasions. Trump on Impeaching Biden: ‘This Guy Has Stolen Millions of Dollars’

Former President Donald Trump, the leading Republican candidate for president in 2024, told Breitbart News exclusively that while he is not explicitly publicly calling for his successor, Democrat President Joe Biden’s, impeachment, he hopes Congress does the “proper thing.” . . .

“They impeached me over a perfect phone call,” Trump said. “This guy has stolen millions of dollars and done worse than that—look at what he’s done to the country with the inflation, with the energy, with taking away people’s rights, with the weaponized DOJ. No, they impeached me over a perfect phone call. Here’s a guy who has stolen millions of dollars and done other things that are so bad. Our country is in a position where it’s just so sad to see what’s happening.”

Asked whether he wants to see an impeachment inquiry against Biden proceed, Trump demurred, saying he did not wish to comment on it—but that he does hope Congress does the “proper thing,” thereby strongly suggesting he would back such a push. Even so, Trump made it clear he wants to let Republicans in Congress make their own decision on this front. House GOP Probes Justice Department Over Bungled Plea Deal With Hunter Biden

House Republicans launched an investigation Monday into how the Justice Department bungled a plea deal with Hunter Biden so badly that a judge sent them back for a mulligan.

The committees conducting the probe said several parts of the agreement were “atypical,” to the point where the federal prosecutor who led the defense had to admit under questioning that there was no precedent for this kind of arrangement.

Among the aberrations were one provision that ruled out future prosecutions on other crimes beyond the scope of the current case, and another provision that limited the government’s ability to prosecute Mr. Biden should he violate the terms of the deal.

The committee chairmen, in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, demanded to know how the bizarre arrangement was reached and whether it was the Justice Department or Mr. Biden‘s lawyers that first suggested the unusual arrangement.

“The Department’s unusual plea and pretrial diversion agreements with Mr. Biden raise serious concerns — especially when combined with recent whistleblower allegations — that the Department has provided preferential treatment toward President Biden‘s son in the course of its investigation and proposed resolution of his alleged criminal conduct,” wrote Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith and Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer.
